Richard Penn

Services:

Private family graveside services will be held in
the spring at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic cemetery
in Waupaca.

Mr. Richard Penn, age 95, of Waupaca, Wisconsin,
passed away Friday, February 18th, 2005 at
Crystal River Nursing & Rehab Center in Waupaca.
Mr. Penn was born in Monterey, Mexico on October
15, 1909. He was the son of the late George and
Antonieta (Benavides) Penn. On July 3, 1932 he
married Pearl Isabel Kjer. She preceded him in
death on Nov 20, 1988. Richard & Pearl were
longtime residents of the Waupaca Chain O'Lakes.
He is survived by Daughter: Cecilia (Paul)
Cunningham, Somers, New York; Sons: Tom (Joy)
Penn, Bowie, Maryland; Herbert (Kathleen) Penn,
Madison, Wisconsin; Twelve grandchildren along
with eleven great grandchildren. Private family
graveside services will be held in the spring at
St. Mary Magdalene Catholic cemetery in Waupaca.

Alice Bleskey

Residence: Amherst, WI

January 18, 1910 - February 22, 2005
Services: St. James Catholic Church-Amherst

Funeral Mass will be held at St. James Catholic
Church in Amherst at 10:00 AM on Saturday, February
26th, with Father Robert Pedretti officiating.
Interment will be in the St. James Catholic
cemetery in Amherst. Visitation will be held on
Friday from 4 until 8 PM at the Jungers-Holly
Funeral Home in Amherst, with a Rosary Service to
be held at 7:30 PM. Visitation also on Saturday,
one hour prior to the service at the church. In
lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. James
Catholic Church.

Alice E. Bleskey, age 95, of Stevens Point,
formerly of Amherst, passed away on Tuesday,
February 22nd, 2005 at St. Michael's Hospital in
Stevens Point.

Alice was born in the Town of Lanark, Portage
Co., WI., on January 18, 1910, a daughter of
Frederick and Eliza (Holman) Hebblewhite.

She married August Bleskey on June 20, 1928 in
Stevens Point. He preceded her in death on May
18, 1983. Alice was a member of St. James
Catholic Church in Amherst, where she had been a
member of the Altar Society. She was an avid
gardener. Alice loved reading, sewing,
crocheting and attending her grandchildrens'
sporting events.

She is survived by 6 Children: James
(Charlotte) Bleskey, Wautoma, WI.; Martin
(Janith) Bleskey, Concord, CA.; Richard Bleskey,
Corona, CA.; Jane Madsen, Mauston, WI.; Ruth
(Clayton) Allen, Waupaca, WI.; David (Kathy)
Bleskey, Amherst, WI.. 24 Grandchildren; 43 Great
Grandchildren; 6 Great Great Grandchildren. She
was preceded in death by her parents, husband -
August, 1 brother - Ed and three sisters - Mary,
Ellen and Gladys, 2 daughters-in-law - Colleen
Bleskey and Lucille Bleskey, and a son-in-law -
Adrian (Bill) Madsen.

Funeral Mass will be held at St. James Catholic
Church in Amherst at 10:00 AM on Saturday,
February 26th, with Father Robert Pedretti

George Bishop

George (Butch) Bishop, age 56, of Almond,
Wisconsin, passed away Thursday, February 24th,
2005 at Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca. He
was born in Madison, Wisconsin on November 13,
1948, the son of George and Margaret (Mead)
Bishop. George married Phyllis Beil on December
26, 1986 in Cascade Mountain, WI. He was known
for his great love of dogs, as well as being an
avid hunter and fisherman.

He is survived by Wife: Phyllis Bishop, Almond,
WI; Daughters: Starr Schuster, Madison, WI;
Laura Jensen, Almond, WI; Special Friend: John
Looze, Madison, WI and his dog Ebony. He was
preceded in death by his parents and a sister,
Barbara Mackiand.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM
Saturday, March 5, 2005 at the Holly Funeral Home
in Waupaca with Pastor Jeffrey Fletcher
officiating. A memorial visitation will be held
on Saturday at the funeral home from 11:00 AM
until the time of the service.

Eric Genson

Eric J. Genson, age 35, of River Falls, WI,
formerly of Poy Sippi, passed away Wednesday,
February 23rd, 2005 in Prescott, WI. He was born
in Milwaukee, WI on May 15, 1969, the son of
Jerry and Lois (Cibik) Genson-Sanders. Eric
graduated from Wild Rose High School in 1987. He
attended college at UW River Falls. Eric was
co-owner of Genson Fish Hunts Musky Guiding
Service with his brother, Steve.

He is survived by Parents: Jerry (Mary Ann)
Genson, Wautoma, WI; Lois (Keith) Genson-Sanders,
Mt. Morris, WI; Brother: Steven Genson,
Springbrook, WI; Step-Brother: Todd (Cindy)
Dehn, Suamico, WI. He is further survived by
uncles, aunts, cousins and many close friends.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on
Tuesday, March 1, 2005 at the Holly Funeral Home
in Waupaca with the Reverend Sam Timm
officiating. A visitation will be held at the
funeral home in Waupaca on Tuesday from 11:00 AM
until the time of the service.

Nina Pommer

NINA V. POMMER

WAUPACA, WISCONSIN

Age 97 passed away on Friday, February 25, 2005
at Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca. She was
born June 7, 1907 in Waupaca, WI; daughter of
Charles W. and Sarah H. (Nelson) Russell. On
August 2, 1926, Nina married Theodore N. Pommer
in Waukegan, IL. He preceded her in death on
November 14, 1997.

Nina is survived by:

Daughters: Ginger (Robert) Plack of Milwaukee,
WI

Patricia (Jay) Faulks of Waupaca, WI

Grandchildren: Mark (Joan) Slane of Jackson,
WI

Paul Slane of Atlanta, GA

Ted Slane of Milwaukee, WI

Patricia Schiller of Cedar Grove, WI

Bob (Sandra) Spick of Manawa, WI

17 Great-Grandchildren

2 Great-Great Grandchildren

She is also survived by many nieces and
nephews.

Nina was preceded in death by her parents,
husband, Theodore Pommer, great-granddaughter,
Meghan Spick, two brothers, Donald and Raymond
Russell, and two sisters, Helen Pommer and
Ethelyn Koerber.

A Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, March 1,
2005 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church in
Waupaca. Reverend Larry G. Gross will officiate.
A visitation will be held one hour prior to the
service on Tuesday at the church. Burial will be
at Lakeside Memorial Park in the spring. In lieu
of flowers, a memorial has been established in
the name of Nina V. Pommer. The Holly Funeral
Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with
arrangements.

Paula Dyer

Paula L. Dyer, age 59, of Weyauwega, Wisconsin,
passed away Friday, February 25th, 2005 at her
residence. She was born in Peoria, Illinois on
January 22, 1946, the daughter of Audubon and
Emma Mae Woolsey. She married Richard Dyer on
July 14, 1990 in Weyauwega. He preceded her in
death.

She is survived by Son: Christopher Rose,
Burkburnett, TX; Daughters: Patricia Rose,
Weyauwega, WI; Pamela Rose, Appleton, WI;
Grandchildren: Several. Sisters: Emma Jean
(John) Johnson, Peoria, IL; Jan (Dan) Ruggles,
Hanna City, IL; Special Family Member: Lisa
Werth, Appleton, WI. Nieces, nephews, other
relatives and friends further survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents;
husband, Richard; granddaughter, Elizabeth and a
sister, Bonnie Wernsman.

A visitation will be held from 4:00 PM until 7:00
PM on Friday, March 4, 2005 at the Holly Funeral
Home in Waupaca. A private family service will
be held at a later date. Interment of cremains
will be in the Oakwood cemetery in Weyauwega.
