John R. Biolo, 86, of Green Bay, died Tuesday, February 4, 2003, in Fond du Lac. Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., form 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday. There will be a Parish Wake Service at 4:30 p.m. Sunday. Friends may also call at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1484 Ninth St., from 10-11 a.m. Monday. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church with the Rev. Richard Getchel officiating.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.

Clement Liebhaber
Clement Liebhaber, 85, Oneida. Arrangements are pending; Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, 358 S. Main St., Seymour, is assisting the family.

Duane E. Snyder
Duane E. Snyder, 65, Seymour. Visitation 4-7 p.m. Friday at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, 358 S. Main St., Seymour, and 10-11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Funeral service 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Angela; one son, Duane Jr. (Laurie) Snyder, Seymour; two daughters, Dawn (Jerry) VandeVoort, Seymour, Annette (Jeff) Bohm, Shawano; four grandchildren; two stepgrandsons; one brother, Earle Snyder, West Allis.

Chris Tisch
Chris Tisch, 42, Pittsfield, died Wednesday morning, Feb. 5, 2003, at her home following a year's battle with cancer.

The former Christine Delzer was born May 12, 1960, in Oconto Falls to Marvin and Peg (Castonia) Delzer and was a 1978 graduate of Oconto Falls High School. On Oct. 21, 1978, she married her high school sweetheart, Ken Tisch, at Grace Lutheran Church in Oconto Falls. Chris worked as a beautician and then worked at several banks in Green Bay and Pulaski. She had also been employed at Franciscan Publishers and Broadway Chevrolet. She finally found her dream job as administrative assistant at Peace Lutheran Church, where she served on the church council and the Life and Growth Committee. Chris enjoyed folk music and golf. She loved to spend time with family and friends. Her beautiful smile and warm personality were a gift that will be greatly missed.

In addition to her husband, Ken, she is survived by one son, Patrick Tisch, Green Bay; one daughter, Amanda Tisch, at home; her parents, Marvin and Peg Delzer, Howard; four sisters, Carolyn Sorensen, Howard, Cathy (Bill) Pagel, Green Bay, Carrie (Steve) Tilque, Pound, Carla (Duane Batchelor) Delzer, Little Suamico; her mother-in-law, Magdalen Tisch, Oconto Falls; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; Ken's family, Nancy Tisch, Shirley (Carl) Manikowski, Larry (Jackie) Tisch, Mary (Ken) Hardtke, Dale (Joy) Tisch, Barbara (Rocky) Bonnin, and Ron (Erin) Tisch.

She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Walter (Cocky) Tisch; a brother-in-law, David Tisch; two nephews, Craig and Noah; and one niece, Jessica.

Friends may call at Marnocha Funeral Home, Pulaski, from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday. Visitation continues after 10 a.m. Saturday at Peace Lutheran Church, 1954 County Road U, Green Bay. Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church with Pastor Don Behrendt officiating. Burial in Bethel Lutheran Cemetery, Green Valley.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.

The family wishes to thank Unity Hospice, St. Mary's Oncology Department, St. Vincent's Oncology Department, and extends a special thank-you to Dr. McGovern. We came to you with love and faith. You gave us hope.

We would also like to thank the congregation of Peace Lutheran Church and the group "Harnessing the Energies of God's Love," and nurse Gloria. We offer a very special thank-you to Pastor Don and Sandie Behrendt. Your care and support has been unbelievable.

Vance J. Van Laanen
Vance J. Van Laanen, 71, Green Bay, passed away Sunday, February 2, 2003, at his home. He was born on December 9, 1931, in Green Bay to Frank and Gertrude (Hottinger) Van Laanen. Vance was a graduate of Ripon College and served his country as a member of the Green Berets. He married Roberta McCormick Parmentier in Rockford, Ill., on March 3, 1967. Vance was extremely active in the initial environmental movement in the 1970s. He was CEO of Fort Howard Steel, former president of Milwaukee Steel Converting and Van L. Limited. Vance was an avid hunter and fisherman. His love of English Cocker Spaniels led to the creation of his nationally renowned Braemar Kennels. He was also instrumental in the creation of field trials for the English Cocker Spaniels in the United States. He was a longtime member of Oneida Golf and Country Club.

Vance is survived by his wife, Roberta "Robbie"; three stepchildren; Robert (Bette) Parmentier, Leslie (Chuck) Hagmann, and Jules F. (Kathy) Parmentier, all of Sturgeon Bay; one brother, Dolph (Carolyn) Van Laanen, Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Virginia Mitchell. Family and friends are welcome at Oneida Golf and Country Club on Saturday, February 8, 2003, from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Immediately following will be a memorial service with Father Dave Kiefer officiating.

Schauer & Schumacher Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 432-4841, is assisting the family with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers or other expressions of sympathy, memorials may be directed in Vance's name to Sybil Hoppe, Paul's Pantry or the Bay Area Humane Society.

Parish prayer service 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Funeral 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church. Survivors include her children, Jane (Barry) Hafeman, Algoma, Mike Fameree, Luxemburg, Don (Sue) Fameree, Casco, Julie (Bruce Sr.) Hafeman, Algoma, Orville Jr. (Michelle) Fameree, Woodbridge, Va., Jody (Peter) Kazik, DePere, Theresa (Ernie) Fameree-Delos Santos, De Pere; 23 grandchildren; one great-grandson.

Robert "Bob" Forsberg, 65, Ashwaubenon. Visitation 4-7 p.m. today at West Mason Malcore Funeral Home, 1530 W. Mason St. Funeral service is tentatively planned to be held Friday at Ryan Funerl Home, Calumet, Mich. Survivors include his wife, Pat; two sons, Robert John II (Amy) Forsberg, Eau Claire, Mark (Barb) Forsberg, Little Suamico; five grandchildren; one brother, George (Betty) Forsberg, Saugatuk, Mich.

Edward S. Gracyalny, Sr.
Edward S. Gracyalny, Sr., 72, Pulaski. Visitation after 10 a.m. today at Assumption B.V.M. Catholic Church, 124 E. Pulaski St., Pulaski. Funeral Mass 11 a.m. today at the church. Mary E. Roder
Mary E. Roder, 107, De Pere. Visitation 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 1307 Lourdes Ave., De Pere. Mass of Christian Burial 12:30 p.m. Thursday at the church. Dale Samsa
Dale Samsa, 51, 1468 Day St., Green Bay, died Tuesday, February 4, 2003. He was born May 1, 1951, in Green Bay to the late John and Melba (DesJarlais) Samsa. Dale owned and operated his own floor finishing business since 1986. He was an avid outdoorsman and was well-known for his hunting, especially longbow hunting. He loved wild boar and bear hunting. Dale loved riding his Harley Davidson.

Survivors include two children, Sarah Samsa and Angela Samsa; a very special friend, Bonnie Fontaine; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Janet Young, Oklahoma, and Ethel "Kelly" and Bradley Stamps, Green Bay; four brothers and two sisters-in-law, Roger and Nancy Samsa, Oconto, Robert Samsa, Oconto, Dennis Samsa, Peshtigo, Ken and Debbie Samsa, Oconto.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Barbara Jean Samsa. Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 2 to 7 p.m. Friday. The funeral service will be at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Oconto.

A memorial fund has been established in Dale's name.

Adele M. Stein
Adele M. Stein, 82, Green Bay, died Monday, February 3, 2003, at a local nursing home. She was born February 19, 1920, to the late Frank and Kate (Brussers) Manders in Green Bay. On January 27, 1940, she married George Stein in Green Bay; he preceded her in death on December 25, 1974. Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, Roger Stein, New Franken, and William and Donna Stein, Green Bay; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Kay and Johnny Montgomery and Bette Stein, Green Bay; and Mary and Lee VandenHeuvel, Greenleaf; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two brothers and five sisters-in-law, Frank Jr. and Eunice Manders, Chicago, Norbert and Bette Manders, Green Bay, Marie Manders, Agnes Simons and Gen Manders, all of Green Bay; and one sister and two brothers-in-law, Lucille Nuss, Robert Mott and Robert Snow, all of Green Bay.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Lyndahl Funeral Home, Lombardi Avenue and Ridge Road, where a wake service will be held at 8 p.m. Visitation will continue after 10 a.m. Thursday at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, where the Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 a.m. with the Rev. John Girotti officiating. Entombment will be in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.

The family would like to express a special thank-you to the staff at San Luis Medical and Rehabilitation Center and Unity Hospice for the care that was given to Adele.

Timothy L. Wautlet
Timothy L. Wautlet, 54, Green Bay, died unexpectedly at home Monday, February 3, 2003. Born in Green Bay on January 19, 1949, he is the son of Ruth (Noel) and the late Robert J. Wautlet. Tim attended SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Grade School and was a 1967 graduate of Premontre High School. He also attended NWTC and worked four years for Sure Way Foods (Main Street). On May 8, 1976, he married the former Diane Derbique at SS. Peter & Paul Church. Tim has been a truck driver for the City of Green Bay/Street Department for 34 years. Tim enjoyed woodworking, westerns, music, NASCAR racing (especially Dale Earnhardt) and was an avid fan of the Wisconsin Badgers. He was a loving husband, father, brother and uncle. Tim had been involved in S.A.Y. soccer and was cubmaster for the Boy Scouts at SS. Peter & Paul Parish. He enjoyed spending time with Diane and the children along with all his friends at Jellystone Campgrounds in Door County.

Survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Diane; one daughter and fiancé, Jennifer Wautlet and Andrew Selissen; one son, Craig, at home; mother, Ruth Wautlet of Green Bay; one brother and sister-in-law, Daniel and Kathryn Wautlet; mother-in-law, Rita Derbique of Green Bay; one brother-in-law and sister-in-law, David and Karen Derbique of De Pere; three nieces, Stacey Derbique of De Pere, Janelle Derbique (goddaughter) of De Pere, and Bailee Wautlet (goddaughter) of Green Bay; one godson, Bobby Wautlet of Green Bay; uncles and aunts, Richard Noel (godfather) of De Pere, Jack and Doris Noel, Evelyn Noel, Frances Weber (godmother), all of Green Bay.

Preceded in death by his father, Robert Wautlet; one sister, Peggy Wautlet; paternal grandparents, Anton and Amalda Wautlet; maternal grandparents, Mitchell and Emma Noel; father-in-law, Donald Derbique.

Vistitation at MALCORE Funeral Home, University Avenue at Baird Street, from 3-9 p.m. Wednesday and prior to the funeral on Thursday. Parish wake service 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Thursday visitation will continue at the funeral home prior to the funeral in church. Funeral 11 a.m. Thursday at SS. Peter & Paul Parish with the Rev. Thomas Farrell officiating. Burial in Allouez Catholic Cemetery.
