Funeral Service will be held at Holly Funeral Home
in Waupaca at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 5th,
2008. The Reverend Dr. Charles Tews, Pastor Trinity
Lutheran Church of Waupaca will officiate.
Visitation will be held Saturday 9-11 A.M. at Holly
Funeral Home in Waupaca. In lieu of flowers,
memorial contributions to the charity of your choice
will be appreciated by the family.

Dr. Kenney L. Willarson, Ret. USAF, age 75, of
Waupaca, Wisconsin , passed away Tuesday, January
1st, 2008. Dr. Willarson was born in Milwaukee,
Wisconsin on December 17, 1932, he was the son of
the late Olivar B. and Annette R. (Kenney)
Willarson. On April 25, 1959, he married Mercedes
McCarthy in Braddock, Pennsylvania. Kenney was a
1950 graduate of Wauwatosa High School. He
graduated from the Marquette University Dental
School in 1956 and Tufts University Dental
School-Boston in 1962. He served in the United
States Air Force from 1955-1979. He and his
family moved to Waupaca in 1978 and he was
associated with the Schmidtke Dental Clinic in
Iola and Amherst till 1988. He later worked for
Dental Associates in Appleton for 5 years. Kenney
enjoyed traveling, driving cars, spending time
with his family including grandchildren, attending
Dental Seminars and visiting with fellow
associates. He liked jazz and big band music and
was an excellent clarinet and saxophone player.
He is survived by his Wife: Mercedes Willarson,
Waupaca; Daughters: Maria (Tom) Greisch, Mequon;
Amy (Matt) McBurney, Muskego; Grandchildren:
Katie Greisch; Alison Greisch; Anna Greisch; Lily
McBurney; Mia McBurney; Sister: Cynthia (Darryl)
Esser, Milwaukee. He is also survived by Nieces,
Nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service will be held at Holly Funeral Home
in Waupaca at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, January
5th, 2008. The Reverend Dr. Charles Tews, Pastor

Frances Shulfer

A funeral mass will be held at St. Mary of Mt.
Carmel Catholic Church at Fancher on Saturday,
January 5, 2008 at 11:00 AM, with Father Theodore
Lewandowski, celebrant. Interment will be in the
parish cemetery. A visitation will be held at the
church on Saturday morning from 9:00 – 11:00 AM. In
lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated and can
be directed to the St. Mary of Mt. Carmel C.C.D.
program in memory of Frances Shulfer. The
Jungers-Holly Funeral Home of Amherst, WI is
assisting the family with arrangements.

FRANCES E. SHULFER

STEVENS POINT, WI (Formerly of Township of
Stockton)

Age 85 – died on Tuesday, January 1, 2008 at St.
Michael’s Hospital in Stevens Point, WI. She was
born on February 10, 1922 in the Township of
Stockton, Portage County, WI, the daughter of Paul
and Johanna (Glodowski) Shulfer. Frances had been
a resident of the Stevens Point Care Center for
the last five years.

Frances is survived by eighteen nieces and
nephews, and numerous great nieces, and great
nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents,
three brothers: Harold, Michael, and Clarence
Shulfer, and a sister: Eleanor Trzebiatowski.

She was a member of St. Mary of Mt. Carmel
Catholic Church at Fancher, and had been active
with the Altar Rosary Society. She had been a
homemaker and worked on the family farm in the
Township of Stockton.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Mary of Mt.
Carmel Catholic Church at Fancher on Saturday,
January 5, 2008 at 11:00 AM, with Father Theodore

parish cemetery. A visitation will be held at the
church on Saturday morning from 9:00 – 11:00 AM.

James R. Takacs

11 AM at Hardell-Holly Funeral Home in Almond with
Mead-Rath-Gutke Legion Post #339, presiding.
Interment of cremains will be in the Central WI
Veterans Memorial cemetery, King. A memorial
visitation will be on Friday morning from 10 to 11
AM at the funeral home. In leiu of flowers a
memorial fund has been established in Jim's name.

James R. Takacs, age 62, of Almond, WI, passed
away on Tuesday, January 1, 2008 at his residence.
James was born in Milwaukee, WI on July 18, 1945,
the son of the late Nicolas and Helen (Kluber)
Takacs. On Feb. 5, 1966, James married Jean
Ries in Menomonee Falls, WI. He served in the US
Army during the Vietnam War. James is survived by
wife: Jean Takacs of Almond, his daughter: Terri
(Tony) Warzynski of Almond and his grandchildren:
Ethan, Brandon & Lacey Warzynski. James is also
survived by one brother. He was preceded in death
by his parents and 1 brother, Thomas. Military
Honors Service will be on Friday, Jan. 4 at 11 AM
at Hardell-Holly Funeral Home in Almond with
Mead-Rath-Gutke Legion Post #339, presiding.
Interment of cremains will be in the Central WI
Veterans Memorial cemetery, King. A memorial

David F. Van Cour

Home-Ainsworth Hall Chapel, King, Wisconsin at 1:00
P.M. on Wednesday, January 16th, with Reverend Tracy
Hamelink officiating. Interment of cremains will be
in the Central WI Veterans Memorial cemetery Town of
Farmington, Wisconsin. Memorial Visitation will be
held Wednesday 12:30-1:00 P.M. at Wisconsin Veterans
Home-Ainsworth Hall Chapel.

Mr. David Fredrick Van Cour, age 89, of King, WI
, formerly of Minoqua, passed away Sunday,
January 6th, 2008. Mr. Van Cour was born in the
Town of Blakely, Minnesota on May 13, 1918, he
was the son of the late Fredrick and Freda
(Brahs) Van Cour. On June 28, 1941, he married
Fern M. (Emmerich) Van Cour in Stratford. She
preceded him in death on Nov 13, 1999. He was
owner and operator of Northwoods Contractors in
Minoqua for over 40 years. He was a lifelong
member of the Madsen Empy Post #89 in Minoqua and
member of the Masonic Lodge #330 in Minoqua.
David served in the United States Army as a Sgt.
in Word War II. He is survived by a Son:
Daniel (Deborah) Van Cour, Madison; Daughter:
Nada Van Cour, LaBelle, Florida; Grandchildren:
Danielle Van Cour; Ewald Moser; Heidi Moser. He
was preceded in death by a Sister: Dale Sexe.
Memorial Service will be held at Wisconsin
Veterans Home-Ainsworth Hall Chapel, King,
Wisconsin at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 16th,
with Reverend Tracy Hamelink officiating.
Interment of cremains will be in the Central WI
Veterans Memorial cemetery Town of Farmington,
Wisconsin. Memorial Visitation will be held
Wednesday 12:30-1:00 P.M. at Wisconsin Veterans
Home-Ainsworth Hall Chapel.

Lorna Loss

Residence: Waupaca, WI

October 22, 1912 - January 7, 2008

A funeral service will be held at the Trinity
Lutheran Church in New London, WI on Wednesday,
January 9, 2008 at 11:00 AM, with the Reverend
William Sutlief, officiating. Interment will be in
the Ostrander cemetery, Township of Mukwa, Waupaca
County, WI. Friends may call at the Holly Funeral
Home in Waupaca, WI on Tuesday evening from 5:00 –
7:00 PM, and at the church in New London on
Wednesday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of
the service. In lieu of flowers memorials can be
directed to the Trinity Lutheran Church of New
London, or to Bethany Home of Waupaca in memory of
Lorna R. Loss. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca, WI
is assisting the family with arrangements.
