Funeral Services will be held at the Holly Funeral
Home in Waupaca at 10 AM on Thursday, September
18th, 2008, with LaVern Mullet & Eric Olson,
officiating. Interment will be in the Lakeside
Memorial Park in Waupaca. Visitation will be held on
Thursday from 9 AM until the time of service at the
funeral home.

Irene L. Miller, age 91, of Scandinavia, WI.,
passed away on Friday, September 12th, 2008 at her
residence. She was born in the Town of St.
Lawrence, Waupaca Co., WI., on July 15, 1917, a
daughter of the late Elmer and Lulu (Knutson)
Johnson.

She married Gordon R. Miller on June 22, 1940 in
Ogdensburg. He preceded her in death on May 3,
2004.

Survivors include a Son: James G. (Cindy)
Miller, Waupaca, WI; Daughter: Lisa L. (John)
Nusz, Scandinavia, WI; Grandchildren: Ivy
(Nathon) Newell, Oshkosh, WI; Abby (Nathan)
Miller, Waupaca, WI; Tanya (Mel) Douglas, Florida;
Jake (Amber) Nusz, Waupaca, WI; Jennifer Nusz,
Iola, WI; Brittany Nusz, Weyauwega, WI; Great
Grandchild: Mateo Douglas, Florida. She was
preceded in death by her parents, husband, Gordon
and a brother, Duane Johnson.

Funeral Services will be held at the Holly
Funeral Home in Waupaca at 10 AM on Thursday,
September 18th, 2008, with LaVern Mullet & Eric
Olson, officiating. Interment will be in the
Lakeside Memorial Park in Waupaca. Visitation will
be held on Thursday from 9 AM until the time of
service at the funeral home.

Sidney Borgen

Residence: Plover, WI

November 16, 1921 - July 26, 2008
Services: Peace Lutheran Church-Amherst

A Memorial Service will be held at Peace Lutheran
Church in Amherst at 10:30 AM on Saturday, August
2nd, 2008, with Reverend Barry Hoerz officiating.
Interment of cremains will be in the Greenwood
cemetery, Amherst. Memorial Visitation will be held
on Saturday from 9 AM until the time of service at
the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be
made to Meals on Wheels or the Tomorrow River Youth
Program.

Sidney (Sid) L. Borgen, age 86, of Plover, WI.,
passed away on Saturday, July 26th, 2008 at St.
Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield, WI. Sid was born
in Amherst, WI., on November 16, 1921, a son of
the late Leslie and Edna (Tronson) Borgen.

Sid graduated from the Amherst High School in May
1939. He graduated from the Chicago School of
Aircraft Instruments, followed by employment with
the U.S. Air Force at Wright/Patterson Air Force
Base in Dayton, OH. Then followed a period as an
instructor of Army /Navy personnel at the Chicago
School of Aircraft Instruments. He worked in the
Chicago area for 50 years, the last 40 for Simpson
Electrical Instrument Co. as a sales engineer. He
retired and moved to Plover, WI. in 1994. He
played and loved music, and had a life long
passion for aviation. He held a pilots license
for 50 years and was a member of the Aircraft
Owners and Pilots Association, the Experimental
Aircraft Association and The Silver Wings
Fraternity. He was a member of Peace Lutheran
Church, Amherst, WI.

Survivors include his Sister: Helene Baum,
Plover, WI; Niece: Barbara (Rick) Engebretson,
Amherst, WI; Nephew: Jeff Baum, Weston, WI;
Great Nephew: Eric Engebretson, Kenosha, WI. He
is further survived by many cousins and friends in
the area. He was preceded in death by his
parents, brother, Donald, brother-in-law, Irv Baum
and a nephew, Dale Baum.

A Memorial Service will be held at Peace Lutheran
Church in Amherst at 10:30 AM on Saturday, August

Beatrice Rose

Residence: Waupaca, WI

A graveside service will be held on Monday, August
4, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the Saxeville Union cemetery
in Saxeville, WI, with the Reverend George Waddell,
officiating. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca, WI
is assisting the family with arrangements.

Beatrice M. Rose

Waupaca, WI

Age 90 – died on Friday, August 1, 2008 at
Bethany Home in Waupaca, WI. She was born on March
9, 1918 in the Township of Saxeville, Waushara
County, WI, the daughter of Nels Peter and
Florence (Halsey) Nelson. She married Alfred E.
Rose on November 11, 1939 in Waupaca. He preceded
her in death on February 11, 1981.

Beatrice is survived by a sister; Hazel (LaVerne)
Madson of Amherst, a brother-in-law; Edward
Peterson of Waupaca, and numerous nieces and
nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband;
Alfred Rose, her parents, five brothers, and two
sisters.

Beatrice had been employed with the Miles Kimball
Company in Oshkosh for about ten years. She loved
being outdoors and enjoyed gardening and doing
yard work. She enjoyed music and had played guitar
for many years. She enjoyed cooking and visiting
with her friends, and she liked going to rummage
sales.

A graveside service will be held on Monday,
August 4, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the Saxeville Union
cemetery in Saxeville, WI, with the Reverend
George Waddell, officiating. The Holly Funeral
Home of Waupaca, WI is assisting the family with
arrangements.

Rose Liebenthal

Home in Waupaca, WI on Friday, August 8, 2008 at
Noon, with Reverend Vicki Fink, St. John’s Lutheran
Church – Saxeville, officiating. Interment will be
in the Central Wisconsin Veteran’s Memorial cemetery
in King, WI. A visitation will be held at the Holly
Funeral Home in Waupaca on Friday from 11:00 AM
until Noon. A memorial has been established to the
Alzheimer’s Association in memory of Rose
Liebenthal.

Liebenthal, Rose “Rosie” C. (nee Johannsen)

Saxeville, WI (Formerly of Greenfield, WI)

Age 77 – found peace on August 1, 2008,
surrounded by her loving family.

Reunited with her beloved husband of 56 years,
Arnold “Arnie”, who passed away on July 31, 2007.
Loving mother of JoAnne (Larry) Pullen of Racine,
Richard Liebenthal of Milwaukee, Linda (Bill)
Heinz of New Berlin, Marilyn (Bob) Crubaugh of
Milwaukee, Darlene (Lee) Samplaski of Caledonia,
and Lorri (Mike) Kelly of Saxeville. Proud
grandmother of 18 grandchildren and 14 great
grandchildren. Further survived by a sister; Liz
“Betty” (John) Whirry of Milwaukee, twin brothers:
John (Eunice) Johannsen of West Bend, and James
(Judy) Johannsen of Milwaukee, her very special
aunt; Bridget Johannsen-Moen of Brookfield,
special friend; Karen (Roger) Fahey of Pine River,
and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to
her husband, she was preceded in death by her
parents; Anton and Catherine Johannsen, and
uncles; Charles Buehler, Walter Johannsen, and
Jack Temmer.

Rosie was a vibrant, compassionate, fun-loving
woman with a heart of gold. Her beautiful smile
and contagious laugh will remain in our memories
forever. She will always be known as “Remarkable
Rosie” to those who knew and loved her.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Patti Kile, Dr.
Bob Dent, Dr. Michael Staudinger, and the caring
staff of Riverside Medical Center and Theda Care
Physicians.

Rose’s five oldest children, their spouses, and
families would also like to thank their youngest
sister, Lorri, and her husband, Mike, for the 8
years they have sacrificed and put their lives on
hold to give Rose the best care possible.

A funeral service will be held at the Holly
Funeral Home in Waupaca, WI on Friday, August 8,
2008 at Noon, with Reverend Vicki Fink, St. John’s
Lutheran Church – Saxeville, officiating.
Interment will be in the Central Wisconsin
Veteran’s Memorial cemetery in King, WI. A
visitation will be held at the Holly Funeral Home
in Waupaca on Friday from 11:00 AM until Noon. A
memorial has been established to the Alzheimer’s
Association in memory of Rose Liebenthal.

Deanna Barndollar

Residence: Almond, formerly of Rosholt & Kenosha

August 3, 1939 - July 31, 2008

Mrs. Deanna J. Barndollar, age 68, of Almond,
Wisconsin, formerly of Kenosha and Rosholt,
passed away Thursday, July 31st, 2008 at her
residence. Mrs. Barndollar was born in Hurley,
Wisconsin on August 3, 1939, she was the daughter
of the late Walter and Zella (De Forge)
Sepanski.

On Dec 7, 1977, she married Harold E. Barndollar
in Kenosha. He preceded her in death on May 14,
2005.

Deanna was a quality controller tester for Ocean
Spray in Kenosha. She moved to Rosholt in 1996
and was employed at Gene's IGA. She was a Black
Belt in karate and enjoyed spending time in the
outdoors especially the water. She was an avid
waterskier in her day and always enjoyed spending
time with her family and friends.

She is survived by Son: Robert D. (Fiancee'
Becky Disher) Barndollar, Almond; Daughter:
Debra F. (Richard) Reynolds, Custer;
Grandchildren: James M. Fuhrer, Whiting; Jamie
M. Reynolds, Stevens Point; Sister: Bernadine
Pisco, Bessemer, MI.

She was preceded in death by Three sisters:
Shirley, Gloria, Zella and Two Brother: David
Stanley.

No funeral services will be held per Deanna's
wishes. The Hardell-Holly Funeral Home in Almond
is assisting the family with arrangements.

The family would like to extend a special thank
you to Dr. Paul Munck of Rice Clinic in Stevens
Point for the excellent care provided to
Deanna.

Donald Fabricius

August 23, 1933 - August 5, 2008

Church, Waupaca at 1:00 PM on Thursday, August 7th,
2008, with Reverend Jennifer DeNetz officiating.
Interment will be in the Barton cemetery, Town of
Farmington, Waupaca Co., WI. Visitation will be
held on Thursday, from 10 AM until the time of the
service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial
contributions may be made to the Waupaca Fire
Department.

Donald E. Fabricius, age 74, of Waupaca, WI.,
passed away on Tuesday, August 5th, 2008 at
Appleton Medical Center. He was born in
Milwaukee, WI., on August 23, 1933, a son of the
late Ralph and Jessie (Larson) Fabricius.

Don married Polly Georgeson on April 6, 1957 in
Waupaca. He was a charter member of Trinity
Lutheran Church in Waupaca. Don served on the
Waupaca Police Department for over 34 years,
retiring with the rank of Captain. He also served
for many years on the Waupaca Fire Department,
County Board, Fire District Commission and as Town
of Farmington Board Chairman. He also served in
the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Survivors include his Wife: Polly Fabricius,
Waupaca, WI; Children: Steven Fabricius, Waupaca,
WI; Jacci Fabricius, Appleton, WI; Janet (Jeff)
Mace, Waupaca, WI; Grandchildren: Alysia
Fabricius; Taylor Fabricius; Joshua Bailey; Ryan
Mace; Adam Mace; Brother: Ralph Lefty (Judy)
Fabricius, Berlin, WI. He was preceded in death
by his parents and a son, Timothy.

Funeral Services will be held at Trinity Lutheran
Church, Waupaca at 1:00 PM on Thursday, August
7th, 2008, with Reverend Jennifer DeNetz
officiating. Interment will be in the Barton
cemetery, Town of Farmington, Waupaca Co., WI.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, from 10 AM
until the time of the service at the church. In
lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be
made to the Waupaca Fire Department.
