Myrtle A. De Pas
Myrtle A. De Pas, 94, Luxemburg, died Friday morning, April 4, 2003, at Linzmeier Fairview Home Health Care, Luxemberg.

Myrtle was born on May 24, 1908, in Tonet to the late Silas and Leah (Willaem) De Champs. On June 19, 1928, Myrtle married Lawrence De Pas at St. Joseph Church, Champion. He preceded her in death on June 6, 1990. Survivors include two sons, Erwin and Gloria De Pas, Verne De Pas, all of Luxemburg; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one sister, Ruby Wendricks, Casco; many nieces and nephews.

Myrtle was preceded in death by one daughter-in-law, Nancy De Pas; one brother and one sister-in-law, Willard and Josie De Champs; two brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law, Edward Wendricks, Joe and Esther LaCroix.

Friends may call at the McMahon Funeral Home, Luxemburg, 4 to 8 p.m. today (April 7, 2003), and after 8:30 a.m. Tuesday. Prayer service 6:30 p.m. today. Funeral 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Trinity Church, Casco, with the Rev. John Doerfler officiating. Entombment in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.

A special thank-you is extended to the Staff of Linzmeier Fairview Home Health Care, Luxemburg for the care given to Myrtle!

Chester Joseph Dillon Jr.
Chester Joseph "Chet" Dillon Jr., 49, Green Bay resident, died Friday, April 4, 2003, at a local hospital. He was born January 30, 1954, in Wakefield, Mich., to the late Chester J. and Mildred (Anderson) Dillon. Chet had served in the U.S. Army and had been employed by the U.S. Postal Service for many years. He was an active member of the Green Bay Area Youth Hockey Association and also enjoyed golfing and spending time with their special dog, Lady (aka Chet Jr.).

He is survived by a son, Shane Dillon; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda and Dennis Raisanen, Ironwood, Mich., Renee and Jim Tate, Oshkosh; a brother and sister-in-law, Scott and Diane Dillon, Baraga, Mich.; his nieces and nephews, Robin, Wendy, Kerri, Derek, Eric, Brian, Danielle, David and Dana.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Shelina; a sister, Bobbi Kaye; and his parents.

Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Chet's name c/o Denmark Bank-Glen Whipp, 2646 Noel Drive, Green Bay, WI 54311. Chester's family would like to extend a special thank-you to the staff of St. Vincent Hospital for its wonderful care.

Adolph 'Leroy' Fengler
Adolph "Leroy" Fengler, 74, Green Bay, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 5, 2003, from this life to eternal life after a brief illness with cancer with his family at his side. He was born April 29, 1928, in Rhinelander, son of the late Adolph and Mabel Fengler. Adolph married Marcie Walton Nov. 8, 1952. Adolph enjoyed picnics, camping, fishing, gardening, and sitting on the swing in the back yard with family and friends. He especially enjoyed attending the grandchildren's sporting events. He loved his family and being "Gramps" to his eight grandchildren. Adolph also served his country as a member of the United States Air Force, and worked for KI for many years.

He will be sadly missed by his wife of 50 years, Marcie, two daughters and their families; Janine (Darrell) Lancelle, and their children Mathew and Angela Lancelle, Green Bay, and Julie (Rick) Marcelle and their children Tami (Joel) Culbertson, Ben Steffel and friend Rachel, Andy, John, Steve, and Chris Marcelle. He is further survived by one sister Jane (Hank) Vogel, and one brother Roland (Janice) Fengler. Adolph was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends and family may call on Tuesday, April 8, 2003 from 2-6:30 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, 321 S. Madison St., Green Bay. Pastor Larry Lange will officiate. Burial will be in the Nicolet Memorial Gardens.

Adolph's family wishes to express their thanks to the special staff at St. Luke's Hospital, Milwaukee, and Aurora Bay Care Medical Center, Green Bay for the compassionate care shown to Adolph and his family.

Terry Gilliss
Terry Gilliss, 49, New Rockford, N.D., formerly of Green Bay, died Friday, April 4, 2003, as a result of a brain aneurysm, at MeritCare Hospital in Fargo, N.D.

Terrance Allen Gilliss, known as Terry, was born June 22, 1953, in New Rockford, N.D., the son of John and Gloria (Topp) Gilliss. He graduated from New Rockford Central High School in 1971. Terry served in the U.S. Air Force and was stationed at Homestead AFB from 1974-1978. He returned to North Dakota and attended North Dakota State University and Moorhead State University in Fargo-Moorhead. Terry married Mary Eisenreich on July 9, 1977, in Green Bay. They were married for 15 years. He lived in Green Bay until returning to North Dakota in 1997. He was employed at Dakota Growers Pasta Company in Carrington, N.D.

He was an avid sports fan and loved to golf. His other interests included walking, reading and playing cards.

He is survived by two daughters, Megan Gilliss and Sandy Gilliss, both of Green Bay; his mother, Gloria Gilliss, New Rockford, N.D.; one brother, Tom (Charlene), Grand Forks, N.D.; two sisters, Theresa (David) Nelson, Aberdeen, S.D., and Sandi (Bob) Hoffman, New Rockford; also seven nieces and nephews.

Terry was preceded in death by his father in 1990. As his final gift to others, Terry's organs and tissues were donated to Lifesource, the North Dakota Eye Bank and the Red Cross Tissue Service for transplant.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at United Methodist Church, New Rockford, N.D. Interment will be in the Prairie Home Cemetery, New Rockford.

Carole M. Kohlbeck
Carole M. Kohlbeck, 78, Green Bay. Visitation after 10 a.m. today at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, 2270 S. Oneida St., Ashwaubenon, until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Survivors include her husband, Cy; five sons, Steve (Barb), Cecil, Wis., Tom, Green Bay, Jim (Sue), Sauk City, Mark (Tammy), Green Bay and Bill (Karen), Green Bay; and 13 grandchildren. Lyndahl Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Gloria Jean Overeem
Gloria Jean Overeem, 61, Green Bay. Private services held at Malcore Funeral Home. Survivors include her husband, Terry; daughters Molly Kate (Michael Engler) Overeem and Carrie Tanya (Andrew) Overeem, Green Bay; a son, Erick Mark (Annie Mae) Overeem, Hartford; nine grandchildren; a sister, Mary Ann Frankowski, Tennessee and two brothers, Thomas Clemmons, Indiana and Gregory Clemmons, Oregon.

Villina J. Schneider
Villina J. Schneider, 82, Green Bay. Visitation noon-1 p.m. today at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., followed by funeral service at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Ione E. Thebo
Ione E. Thebo, 74, Ashwaubenon, died Saturday, April 5, 2003, at her home. She was born on July 6, 1928, in Green Bay to the late Frank and Viola (Wright) Shaha. On October 5, 1946, she married George Thebo; he preceded her in death on Dec. 3, 1987. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Survivors include four daughters and three sons-in-law, Lynn Thebo and her special friend Kenneth McNichols, Spencer, Ind., Leslie and Dale Vanden Heuvel, Green Bay, Coral and Chris Vander Steeg, Sun Prairie, and Crystal and Bill Potos, Franklin; one son, Curtis and his fiance Nancy Paulick, Green Bay; 12 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Lorraine Shaha, Green Bay, and Angeline Shaha, De Pere; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was also preceded in death by one infant son, Curtis, and three brothers, Rodney, Russell and Roger; and one half-sister, Arleen. Friends may call after 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 12th Ave. at Ninth St., where a Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 a.m. Entombment in Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum. Lyndahl Funeral Home is serving the family.

If desired, memorials may be given to Paul's Pantry and Bay Area Humane Society and Animal Shelter.

The family would like to express thanks to Sister Toni from St. Joseph Catholic Church for providing ministry to Ione at her home.

Leo Wagner
Leo Wagner, 91, De Pere. Visitation 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N. Webster Ave., De Pere, and after 9 a.m. Friday at St. Francis Catholic Church, De Pere, until Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. A full obituary will appear in Tuesday's News-Chronicle.

Tyrelle J. Woodworth-Kozlowski
Tyrelle J. Woodworth-Kozlowski, 32, Little Suamico, died unexpectedly Saturday, April 5, 2003. She was born March 1, 1971, in Green Bay to Darryl Woodworth and Joan Garrity. Tyrelle was a graduate of Green Bay West High School, Class of 1989. On December 31, 2002, Tyrelle married William T. Kozlowski at the N.E.W. Zoo. She worked at Krueger Sentry Gauge in Suamico.

Tyrelle's first love was her daughter Alexa, and she also enjoyed plants, going up north, cutting grass and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her husband, William T. Kozlowski; her daughter, Alexa Woodworth-Hansen, Little Suamico; her parents, Darryl and Jean Woodworth, Stiles; Joan and Tom Garrity, Suamico; her brothers and sisters and their families, Mike Woodworth, Little Suamico, Dan Garrity and his special friend Courtney, both of Minneapolis, Minn., Justin Woodworth, Green Bay, Ashley Woodworth, Lena, Matthew Woodworth, Anna Woodworth, John Woodworth, all of Stiles; a very special friend, Raymond Hansen, Green Bay; her maternal grandparents, Marvin and Chesterine Aerts, Sobieski; Beverly and Erving Garrity, De Pere; her paternal grandparents, Merle and Dan Rosenberg, Little Suamico; Arlene Woodworth, Abrams; a special uncle, Jim Aerts, Oconto; aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Fern Aerts; and her paternal grandfather, George Woodworth.

Friends may call at St. John Lutheran Church, Little Suamico, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the church with the Rev. Solveig A.H. Zamzow officiating.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for Tyrelle's daughter, Alexa, for a trust fund in her memory.
