Baird St. Survivors include three daughters, Linda (Tony) Dufek, Casco, Sue (Bill) Arndt, Green Bay, Darlene (Al) Donart, Green Bay; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Francine Routhieaux, New Franken.

George W. Hall, 98, Green Bay. Arrangements are pending; Malcore Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird St., is assisting the family.

Lucille (Bluma) Jarosinski
Lucille (Bluma) Jarosinski, 80, Bonduel. Visitation after 9:30 a.m. today at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Hofa Park. Funeral Mass 10:30 a.m. today at the church. Survivors include four daughters, Betty Marcks, Bonduel, Arlene (Wayne) Tesch, Green Bay, Judy Marohl, Seymour, Linda (Edwin) Frost, Greenfield; three sons, Richard Jarosinski (special friend, Barb), Arkansaw, Francis (Mary Jane) Jarosinski, Pulaski, Gary (Jeanne) Jarosinski, Green Bay; 25 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.

Irene Rolf
Irene (Mrs. Justin) Rolf, 87, Green Bay, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2003, at a local hospital. She was born June 11, 1915, in Bay Settlement to the late Louis and Clara (Simonar) VanEss. On May 28, 1941, she married Justin Rolf at St. Joseph Catholic Church; he preceded her in death on August 26, 1991. Irene was a lifetime member of Mary Guild at St. Mary's Hospital and a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church and its Community of Christian Women. She enjoyed her card club, golfing, bowling and spending time at her cottage on the Bay.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Gayle and Patrick J. Gittens, Green Bay; two grandchildren, Kelly Gittens and special friend Bill Perrigoue, Green Bay, Steven (Jill) Gittens, Green Bay; one great granddaughter, Kati Anne (Grandma Rene's sweetheart); one brother, Walter VanEss, De Pere; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Harry, Clarence, Arthur and Lloyd VanEss; two sisters, Joyce Laurent and Gladys Marto; and one great granddaughter, Ashley.

Friends may call after 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1484 Ninth St., with the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. with the Rev. Richard Getchel officiating. Entombment in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd mausoleum. Lyndahl Funeral Home is assisting the family.

The family would like to extend a special thank-you to Dr. Hafner and the staffs of Bellin Hospital and Unity Hospice for the wonderful care that they provided.

Ceil E. Schiebel
Ceil E. Schiebel, 92, Green Bay resident, died early Monday morning, March 31, 2003, at Foutainview. She was born July 3, 1910, in Green Bay to the late George and Lucinda (Rutten) Meyer. Ceil married Paul B. Schiebel on August 12, 1930, in Green Bay. He preceded her in death on March 11, 1980. She was a very active volunteer at the American Red Cross and a member of SS. Peter & Paul Parish. Ceil enjoyed playing cards for over 50 years with a special group of friends and was known for her pies and bakery, which she shared with family and friends.

She is survived by three children, Julanne and Don Walczyk, Paul J. Schiebel, all of Green Bay, and Alice and Don Jadin, De Pere; eight grandchildren, Kathy (Murray Jr.) Froelich, Capt. Tom Walczyk, DDS, USN, Dan Walcyk, Jim (Kathy) Walczyk, Tim Walczyk, Liz (Mark) Palazzari, Jennifer (Tau) Apineru, David (Julie) Jadin; 11 great-grandchildren, Capt. Ryan (Capt. Shauna), USAF, Murray and special friend Greta, Michelle, Brandon, Ben Katelin, Isabella, Celestina, Christian, Zachary and Grace; one brother-in-law, Clem Schiebel, Green Bay. Her first great-great-grandchild is due in August. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one grandson, Michael Jadin; two brothers, Alwin and Walter Meyer; four sisters, Lorraine Meyer and Marie Ann Meyer, who died as infants, Florence Meyer, Catherine Van Deuren.

Friends may call at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and after 10 a.m. Thursday at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, corner of Baird Street and University Avenue, until time of Mass. Parish wake service 7 p.m. Wednesday. Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. Thursday at the church with the Rev. Thomas Farrell officiating. Entombment in the Allouez Chapel Mausoleum.

Ceil's family would like to express its sincere appreciation for Ceil's care for the past five-and-one-half years at Carrington Manor, the staff of Fountainview, where she most recently made her home, Dr. Meves, and the nurses and staff of Unity Hospice, especially Dar. Their care and compassion for Ceil and her family will not be forgotten.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund has been established in Ceil' name.

Catherine "The Spice Lady" Detert, 50, Green Bay. Visitation 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St. Funeral service 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Sally Metz
Sally Metz, 55, Green Bay. Arrangements are incomplete and are being handled by Proko-Wall Funeral Home.

Henry E. Pigeon
Henry E. Pigeon, 71, Ashwaubenon. Visitation 1 p.m. Monday at the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Chapel, 2770 Bay Settlement Road. Funeral service 2 p.m. Monday at the chapel. Survivors include his wife, Mieko; one son, Henry Jr. (Cindy), Green Bay; two daughters, Margaret (Jeff) Schmechel and Debbie, both of Green Bay; 10 grandchildren.

James Piontek
James Piontek, 83, Bellevue. Visitation before 10 a.m. today at Malcore Funeral Home, University Avenue at Baird Street. Funeral service 10 a.m. today at Holy Cross Church, 3001 Bay Settlement Road. Survivors include one son, Larry (JoAnn) Piontek, De Pere; one daughter, Linda Dudley and fiance Steve Couillard, Green Bay; three brothers, Irvin (Alice) Piontek, Eddie Piontek and John Piontek; two sisters, Wanda (Eddie) Pochron and Dorothy (Tony) Horkman.

John Stoffel
John Stoffel, 70, De Pere. Visitation 9-11 a.m. Wednesday at Pilgrim Congregational Church, 991 Pilgrim Way, Ashwaubenon. Memorial service 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Survivors include his wife, Marilyn; children, Timothy Stoffel of Reno, Nev., Susan Stoffel of Waupun and Thomas and Tammy Stoffel of De Pere; a brother, Michael (Nancy) Stoffel of Sequin, Texas; five grandchildren; half-brothers and half-sisters.

Margaret Murray Flatley
Margaret "Peggy" Murray Flatley, 86, Green Bay, passed away peacefully Friday, March 28, 2003, at a local nursing home. Born on June 8, 1916, in Green Bay, she is the daughter of the late Earle and Stella (Quinlan) Murray. Peggy was the youngest, charming child of the Murray clan. She is a graduate of St. Joseph Academy and also attended Garland School in Boston. In 1937 Peggy married Robert Hugh Flatley, a young attorney in Green Bay. Together they had five daughters. Peggy was well-known for her highly creative nature and her great sense of humor. Her husband, Robert, preceded her in death February 14, 2000. Peggy volunteered many hours at St. Vincent Hospital.

She is survived by five daughters: Anne Flatley Taylor of Houston, Texas, Sherry F. Trenchard of Lake Bluff, Ill., Ellen F. McCormick Martens of Houston, Texas, Robyn M. Flatley of Brattleboro, Vt., and Betsy Berres of Portland, Ore.; 10 grandchildren, Elizabeth Allen of Texas, Ed Allen of Illinois, Stephanie Trenchard of Sturgeon Bay, Meg Trenchard and Jane Trenchard, both of Milwaukee, Steve Malchelski, Patrick Malchelski and Laura Tahri, all of Texas, John Deneen of Pennsylvania, and Rob Berres of Oregon; 13 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; seven brothers and sisters. Friends may gather at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral, 139 S. Madison St., Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorial service 11 a.m. at the church with Msgr. Roy M. Klister officiating. Burial in Allouez Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, donations may be given to Brown County Nursing Home.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at the Brown County Mental Health Center, especially Dawn, Lisa, Rose, Mary and Greg. They would also like to thank Barb VandenBusch for the care that she provided over the years.

Lois J. Hanstedt
Lois J. Hanstedt, 75, Dyckesville. Visitation 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St. Funeral service 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Survivors include her husband, Floyd Hanstedt; daughter, Laurie (William) Taylor; brother, Ralph (Carol) Schoch; sister, Marnie Eschelweck; one grandchild.

James G. Johanski Jr.
James G. Johanski Jr., 81, Green Bay. Visitation 4-8 p.m. Monday at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., and after 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Willebrord Catholic Church, 209 S. Adams St. Parish wake service 7 p.m. Monday. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church.

Ross C. Meade
Ross C. Meade, 91, De Pere. Visitation after 6 p.m. Monday at Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N. 10th St., De Pere. Funeral service 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Survivors include his wife, Charlotte; his children, David Meade, De Pere; Marilyn Meade, Madison; Cheryl (Jeff) Tyndall, Green Bay; one grandson; two sisters, Leanore Carlson, La Crosse, and Marguerite Meade, Green Bay.

James Piontek

John G. Reinke
John G. Reinke, 90, Green Bay. Visitation 2-4 p.m. Monday at St. Mary of the Angels Church, 645 S. Irwin Ave. Funeral service 4 p.m. Monday at the church.

Barb Staeven
Barb Staeven, 58, died Thursday evening, March 27, 2003, at her home surrounded by her family and friends. She was born March 30, 1944, in Kingsford, Mich., to George and Dorothe (Jordon) Paige. On July 2, 1966, she married Donald Staeven at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral. She had worked 32 years as a CNA before her retirement from Woodside Lutheran Home. Barb enjoyed crafts, including quilting, cross-stitching and crocheting.

Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Donald; three children and their spouses, Samuel Staeven, Daniel and Donna Staeven, Ann Marie and Vincent Zuber; one grandson, Zachary Staeven; her mother, Dorothe; a sister, Sharon (Gary) Sleik; a twin sister, Ruthie (Greg) Kramer; one aunt, Audrey Juneau; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Services were held Saturday, March 29.

Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., is assisting the family.
