Mason St., until funeral at 3 p.m. Survivors include a daughter, Trice (Tim) Burton, Green Bay; a son, John Coleman, Illinois, a half-daughter, Alicia Davis; a sister, Nolan McKenzie, Illinois; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Richard D. Hall, 62, Oconto. Visitation 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto and after 10 a.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist Church, Oconto until funeral at 11 a.m. Survivors include his wife Trish; a son, David (Kris) Hall, Green Bay; and two grandchildren

Dorothy 'Dottie' M. Herzog
Dorothy "Dottie" M. Herzog, 76, Green Bay, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Friday, June 13, 2003, after a long courageous battle with cancer. She was born June 25, 1926, in Green Bay to the late Joseph and Henrietta (Vanden Heuvel) Eisenreich. On June 14, 1948, she married Gerald P. Herzog. Dorothy was a devoted wife, a loving and gentle mother and grandmother, and dear friend to many. She enjoyed family gatherings, playing bridge and going up north to the family cabin. Dorothy was an avid gardener and enjoyed tending her flowers. Dorothy was a member of St. John the Evangelist Women's Society, and was a St. John's volunteer at Odd Fellows Rebekah Haven and Odd Fellows Rebekah Home.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Jerry; her six children and their families: Susan (Dennis) Dietrich and children Lori, Ryan, and Eric, Egg Harbor; Patrick Herzog and children, Alysia, Katie, and Amy, Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada; Carol (Dennis) Coughlin and children, Mark, Joe and Thomas, Mauston; Dr. Richard (Laura) Herzog and children, John, and Jacob, Nacogdoches, Texas; Michael (Mary Chris) Herzog, and daughter Maggie, Green Bay; Kathryn (Robert) Thomas and children, Tyler and Jeff, Green Bay. She is further survived by sisters-in-law, Peggy Eisenreich, Green Bay; Dolores Eisenreich, Sacramento, Calif.; Shirlee Herzog, Green Bay; one brother-in-law, Art Barteleme, Ft. Pierce, Fla.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, John; two brothers, Lawrence and Richard Eisenreich; one sister-in-law, Marilyn Barteleme; and one brother-in-law, Clifford Herzog.

Friends may call at Proko-Wall Funeral Home & Crematory, 1630 East Mason St., on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m.; and on Tuesday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at St. Philip the Apostle Church, 312 Victoria St. Parish prayer service Monday, 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, 10:30 a.m. at St. Philip the Apostle with Rev. Larry Canavera officiating. Entombment in the Allouez Chapel Mausoleum.

Rose Mary C. LaPlant
Rose Mary C. LaPlant, 84, Green Bay, died Friday, June 13, 2003, at a local nursing home after a long illness. Born in New Franken April 5, 1919, she is the daughter of the late Joseph and Frances (Kollross) Schneider. She married Joseph LaPlant August 27, 1938, at St. Kilian Church in New Franken and he preceded her in death Jan. 19, 1984. The couple farmed in Bay Settlement and Rose Mary worked for the Green Bay Public Schools in food service for many years. She enjoyed telling a good joke or funny story, playing cards with her card clubs, bowling, golfing, dancing, reading, and volunteering at the Red Cross.

She is survived by four sons and three daughters-in-law, Jim LaPlant and fiancee Barbara Schick, Dan and Julie LaPlant, Larry and Bonnie LaPlant, and Mark and Kathy LaPlant, all of Green Bay; a daughter and son-in-law, Mary Jo and Ed Hawley of Minneapolis, Minn.; 12 grandchildren, David (Julie) LaPlant, Lisa (Stephen) Bolger, Steven (Helle) LaPlant, Chad LaPlant, Jeffrey (Leslie) LaPlant, Stacie (Steve) Bonney, Paul (Veronica) LaPlant, Tina (Tim) Reilly, Katie LaPlant, Andy LaPlant, Scott (Jennifer) LaPlant, and Tim LaPlant; five great grandchildren, Natalie LaPlant, Abby LaPlant, Ella Reilly, Etienne-Jacques Bolger, and Gabriela LaPlant; many nieces and nephews.

Rose Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joseph; daughter-in-law, Joanne LaPlant; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Joseph and Florence Schneider, and Clem and Florence Schneider; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Dorothy and Ed Denis, and Bernadette and Elmer Gigot. Visitation at MALCORE Funeral Home, University Ave. at Baird Street, Monday (TODAY) from 4-8 p.m. and prior to the funeral on Tuesday. Parish wake service 7:30 p.m. Monday (TODAY). Tuesday's visitation will continue at the funeral home until the procession leaves for Holy Cross Church, 3001 Bay Settlement Road. Funeral Mass 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Cross Church. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Bornemann Nursing Home, and Dr. Roderick Meves, and Dr. James McGovern for theirloving care.

Kyle Leiterman, 22, Wrightstown. Visitation 4-8 p.m. today a and after 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Greenleaf, until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Survivors include his parents, Bernie and Shirley Leiterman, Greenleaf; his brothers and sisters, Dennis (Amy) Leiterman, Greenleaf; Brian (Terry Jo) Leiterman, Carrboro, N.C.; Amy (Curt) Van Den Elsen, Keith Leiterman and Kevin Leiterman, Greenleaf; and grandparents. DeWane-Cotter Funeral Home, Wrightstown, is assisting the family.

Muriel Jean Miller
Muriel Jean Miller, 65, Green Bay. Visitation after 4 p.m. Wednesday at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., until funeral at 7 p.m. Survivors include a step-father, Rudy Niemi, Minneapolis, Minn.; an ex-husband, Jerry Scott Sr., Indiana ; four sons, Jerry Scott Jr., Daniel Vineyard, Richard Mijokovich and Ricky Mijokovich; two daughters, Tanya Vasquez and Jackie Mijokovich; and 12 grandchildren.

Helen E. Pomprowitz
Helen E. Pomprowitz, 100, Green Bay. Visitation after 1:30 p.m. Sunday at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 2040 Hillside Lane, until Service of Remembrance at 2 p.m. Schauer & Schumacher Funeral Home and Cremation Services is assisting the family. Survivors include a daughter, Joan (Robert) Schaupp, De Pere; a son, Jack (Mary) Pomprowitz, Carmel, Ind.; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Jerome (Ellen) Quinn
Mrs. Jerome (Ellen) Quinn, 92, long time West Side Green Bay resident and St. Patrick Parish member, died Saturday, June 14, 2003, at a local nursing home. She was born May 23, 1911 in Antigo to the late Myron and Mary (Houlihan) Hollister. Ellen was a graduate of Green Bay West High School. She was described in her yearbook as "a friend of everyone and everyone's friend" Ellen worked for Brown County Savings and Loan before her marriage. On Sept. 14, 1945, Ellen married Jerome F. Quinn at St. Patrick Catholic Church. She was active in the Parents' Club at Premontre High School and she volunteered for the Meals on Wheels program.

She is survived by her husband, Jerome. She was a loving and kind mother to Michael and Mary Quinn, Kevin and Susan Quinn, all of Allouez; and Dr. Teresa Quinn and Dr. Kenneth Klein of North Oaks, Minn; her four grandchildren Casey Quinn, Kellan Quinn, Joseph Quinn, Ellie Anne Klein; one brother, Robert Hollister of Green Bay; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters.

Friends may call at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 211 N. Maple Ave., from 9:30 until 11 a.m. Tuesday. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church with Msgr. Brian Coleman officiating. Burial will be in Fort Howard Memorial Park.

The family of Ellen Quinn would like to extend a special word of Thanks to the caring staff of Rennes Health Care and St. Vincent Hospital. Blaney Funeral Home is assisting the Quinn Family.

Charles (Charlie) Briggs
Charles (Charlie) Briggs, 77, Sturgeon Bay and Mesa, Ariz. Visitation Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Green Bay Elks Lodge No. 259, 3195 Ridge Road, Ashwaubenon, until memorial service at 11 a.m. Survivors include his wife, Jeanne; a daughter, Cheryl (Gregg) Lardinois, Green Bay and son, Michael (Virginia), Phoenix, Ariz.; a brother, Ben, Crooked Lake; and four grandchildren.

Chester Dollar, 90, Green Bay. Visitation 4-8 p.m. today at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., and after 8:30 a.m. Monday at St. Bernard Church, 2040 Hillside Lane, until funeral at 10 a.m.

Jerome Kane
Jerome Kane, age 87, of De Pere, passed away early Friday evening in the company of his family after a brief illness. He was born Oct. 8, 1915, in the town of Holland, Brown County, son of the late Edward and Mollie (Shaughnessy) Kane. On Feb. 10, 1937 he was united in marriage to Marion Bertrand at St. Boniface Catholic Church in De Pere. Marion preceded him in death in 1967. In 1970 he was united in marriage to Lillian Bauer, who preceded him in death in 1995. Jerome retired from Northwest Engineering in 1977 after 43 years. He liked the outdoors, especially golfing, and fishing, and woodworking in his spare time. Jerome also enjoyed horses, whether it be sulky racing, or riding horses. He was a member of the De Pere Golden K, the Pine Snakes, and the Green Bay Traffic Club and until recently delivered Meals on Wheels. Jerome served on various De Pere and Brown County committees, including as a long time member of the Brown Co. Mental Health Center Board. He was a faithful member of Our Lady Of Lourdes Catholic Church De Pere, and served on the Mt. Calvary Cemetery Board for 40 years.

Survivors include his children; John J. (Inger) Kane of Green Bay, James F. (Donna) Kane of Oconto Falls, Mary (Ken) Vincent of De Pere, Joe (Sandy) Kane of De Pere, Patsy (Pat) Collins of Reedsburg, and 1 step daughter; Nancy (Russ) DeMille of Green Bay. 13 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and two step-grandchildren also survive. Jerome is further survived by his siblings; Edmund (Fran) Kane of Appleton, Francis Kane of De Pere, and Mary (John) Van Dyk of De Pere; three sisters in law, Grace Kane of De Pere, Ethel Josephs of De Pere, and Helen Garrity of Seymour; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends also survive him. Jerome was preceded in death by one brother, Lawrence, and one sister in law Bernie Kane. Other members of Marion's family also further preceded Jerome in death.

Friends may call from 4-8 p. m. Tuesday at the RYAN FUNERAL HOME, De Pere, with a parish prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue after 10 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady Of Lourdes Catholic Church, De Pere until the Mass Of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. with Fr. Conrad Kratz O. Praem officiating. Burial in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Steven Liegeois
Steven Liegeois, 43, Green Bay. Visitation after 9 a.m. Monday at Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto, until funeral at 11 a.m. Survivors include his mother, Lorraine Liegeois, Oconto; a sister, Sandra (Gary) Augustine, Spruce; and three brothers, Timothy, Oconto, Michael, Colorado and Martin, Green Bay.

Mrs. Jerome (Ellen) Quinn

Oscar H. Wendschuh
Oscar H. Wendschuh, 93, Allouez, died Thursday, June 12, 2003, at a local nursing home. He was born Nov. 10, 1909, in Sandusky, Ohio, son of the late Oscar H. and Johanna (Diedrichs) Wendschuh. He graduated from Sandusky High School and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a degree in mechanical engineering. Oscar worked at Fort Howard as an engineer, where he retired at age 65. Oscar married Wanda Close on Sept. 5, 1942, in Sandusky, Ohio, and she preceded him in death on Oct. 30, 1994. He was a member of Greater Green Bay Shriners (where he used to ride the Super Cycle up until he was nearly 85 years old), Kiwanis of Green Bay, Association of Mechanical Engineer's, First United Presbyterian Church of De Pere, Fort Howard Retirees, Rensselaer Alumni and the International Executive Service Corps, where he served in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Oscar loved to golf, go boating and read, and he enjoyed traveling.

Survivors include a daughter, Paula and Tom Olszewski, Salem; two granddaughters, Amy L. and Jeff Kohn, Rhinelander, and Lisa M. and Mark Niederer, Bristol; four great-grandchildren, Holly, Aaron, Brett Oscar and Rebecca; one sister, Selma Schweinfurth, Sandusky, Ohio; a brother, Walter (Kathryn) Wendschuh, Wadsworth, Ohio; and four nephews, Dr. Peter (Ann) Wendschuh, Dr. Philip (Susan) Wendschuh, Craig (Pat) Close and Richard (Cheryl) Close. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Wanda; brother and sister-in-law, Herbert (Iretta); sister, Elsa; and brother-in-law, Harold Schweinfirth.

Family and friends may call Monday, June 16, 2003, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at First United Presbyterian Church of De Pere. Memorial service will be held 11:30 a.m. on Monday at the church, with the Rev. Dr. Ted L.Tromble and Rev. Dr. Phil Philbrook officiating. Interment will be in Sandusky, Ohio. Cotter Funeral Home, De Pere, is handling arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to First United Presbyterian Church of De Pere.
