Survivors include three brothers, Robert (Kathey) Nohr, Arthur Nohr, Donald Nohr, all of Green Bay; three sisters, Eunice Strenn, Greenleaf, Loretta (George) Patton, De Pere; Darlene VanEgren, Oconto Falls; nieces; nephews.
Angeline Margaret (Skenandore) Powless
Angeline Margaret (Skenandore) Powless, of Oneida, passed into the spirit world surrounded by her loving husband and children. She was the daughter of the late Elias J. and Louise (Skenadore) Skenandore and was born in Oneida on September 12, 1922. Angeline lived a full life as the wife of Purcell R. Powless for 57 years. She leaves her husband and eight children to carry on her legacy of love. Angeline loved to spend time with her family, play bingo and enjoyed listening to old-time country music.
Angeline is survived by her husband, Purcell; and three daughters, Kathy Gilsoul and her companion Gary DeCorah, Bobbi and Dale Webster, Monica and Sterling (Bla) Nunies; and her five sons, Richard, Greg and Nancy Powless, Ralph and his fiance Luanne Denny, James and Gloria Powless, and Joseph T. Powless. Angeline had 30 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Adeline (Arthur) Johnson, Ruth Harding, and Jeanette (Ervin) Doxtator; and one brother, Dixon Skenandore. Also survived by sisters and brothers-in-law, Lois Powless, Mary Dodge, Mark and Shirley Powless, Dorothy and Joseph Mehojah, Herb Powless, Marjorie Stevens, and Eugene and Annette Powless.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Louise and Elias James Skenandore; her brothers, Henry, Chauncy, Tom, Hanson, and DeGuy Skenandore; and sisters, Nancy Metoxen, Alvira Green, Jane Skenandore; and one granddaughter, Tammy Powless.
Friends may call at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 305 N. Tenth St., De Pere, from 5 to 8 p.m. on Sunday. Oneida Indian Singing will begin at 6:30 p.m. Parish prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue after 8:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home until the funeral procession leaves for church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 2, 2003, at Holy Apostles Episcopal Church, Oneida, with the Rev. Dewey Silas and Deacon Edmund Powless officiating. Robert U. Rockstroh
Dr. Robert U. "Rocky" Rockstroh, 69, Green Bay, died Thursday, May 29, 2003, after a courageous two-year battle with cancer, while at home surrounded by his family. He was born June 20, 1933, in Green Bay to the late Karl A. and Mary (Ulrich) Rockstroh. He enjoyed life to the fullest and will be missed by his family and friends. He was a chiropractor, practicing for 38 years in Green Bay. He enjoyed playing cards, golfing, playing the harmonica and was a member of the Brown County Musical and Literary Society, the Green Bay Moose Lodge #801 and was active in the Brown County Tavern League. He also thoroughly enjoyed his cottage and many friends on Legend Lake.
He is survived by eight children and their spouses, Connie and Perry Niquette, Mason, Ohio, Mary Kay and Mohammed Heddaoui, Green Bay, Dr. Michael and Molly Rockstroh, Green Bay, Thomas Rockstroh, Green Bay, Tracy and Rafael Ramirez, Green Bay, Steven Rockstroh, Green Bay, Robin and Mike Caelwaerts, Flintville, Paula Rae and Ryan Gillingham, Chicago, Ill.; 13 grandchildren, Jordan and Braedyn Niquette, Hannah and Lily Heddaoui, Brandon, Austin and Ryan Rockstroh, Vanessa and Bijan Ramirez, Danielle Rockstroh, Ceanna and Isaac Caelwaerts, Isabella Gillingham; and the mother of his eight children, Susie Vanderloop.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his only brother, Karl Jr. Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday. There will be a Parish Wake Service at 7 p.m. Sunday. Friends may also call at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 312 Victoria St., from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church with the Rev. Larry Canavera officiating. Entombment will be in Allouez Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in his name.

James Edward Speaker
James Edward Speaker passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, May 30, 2003, at ManorCare West Health Services. He was born June 24, 1923, in De Pere, Wis., the son of Dr. George Speaker and Mary Speaker (nee Bolton). He graduated from East De Pere High School and attended St. Norbert College for one year until he went to work for the war effort. He was united in marriage with Elizabeth Rose Webb on May 14, 1949, in Green Bay. Jim was the manager of several retail shoe departments including Cohens in downtown Green Bay and the White Store shoe departments in Green Bay and West De Pere. In 1980, he and his wife fulfilled his life-long dream of owning his own business and established James' Family Shoes in West De Pere. Jim was a gift to this world. He was a lover of life who worshipped family above all else. His wife, children and grandchildren were the joyous center of his world.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Rose Speaker, and three children and their spouses, James Robert (Chris) Speaker, Green Bay, JoEllen (Mark) Waddell, Baraboo, Wis., and Peggy Speaker, Vadnais Heights, Minn.; and five grandchildren, Amanda Speaker, Kelly Speaker, Connor Waddell, Samuel Waddell and Erik Schelter. He is survived by all five of his siblings, Rosemary (Carl) Gerke, John (Pat) Speaker, EllieMae (Dick) Moe, George (Mary Lou) Speaker, Alice Noble; and in-laws, Rita (Ralph) Gilliame and Robert (Mary Ellen) Webb; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jack and Mary Ann Webb; and brother-in-law, Frank Noble. Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., on Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. John VanDueren officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery.

Norbert E. Severson
Norbert E. Severson, 82, Green Bay, died Wednesday, December 3, 2003. He was born August 26, 1921, to the late John and Mabel (Anderson) Severson in Greenleaf, Wisconsin. On May 28, 1949, he married Viola Frelich; she preceded him in death April 8, 1965. He married Bernice (Goffard) Rickert on October 8, 1966; she preceded him in death May 26, 1995. From 1948 to 1983, Norbert was employed by the Brown County Highway Commission. After retirement, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling and riding his bicycle. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, David and Andrea Severson, Green Bay; and two grandchildren, Chris and Patrick Severson. He is further survived by Bernice's children, Llewellyn (Rick) Rickert and his family; and Nancy and Richard Leurquin and their family; one brother, Merlin Severson; one brother-in-law, Bernard Frelich, Maribel; one sister-in-law, Leona Severson, Chicago, Ill.; and nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wives, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Myron and Leland Severson; and two sisters-in-law, Dorothy Severson and Bertha Severson.
Friends may call from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, December 6, at Lyndahl Funeral Home, Lombardi Avenue and Ridge Road, where the funeral service will take place at 11:30 a.m. with Chaplin Stan Lillich officiating. Burial will be in Allouez Cemetery.
The family wishes to express a special thank you to the Unit 8 staff at the Brown County Mental Health Center.
