Survivors include sister, Dorothy Jane (Carl) Steinfeldt, Green Bay; brother Jerry (Mary Jane) Van Handel, Green Bay.

Leo Janus
Leo Janus, 82, died Friday, March 26, 2004. He was born in So. Chase on Nov. 13, 1921, to Anton and Mary Stolarski Janusz. He married Joyce Cornell on April 25, 1933, at Ss. Edward & Isidore Church, Flintville. Leo was an Army veteran of WWII, serving in the Philippines. He was a charter member of PLAV Post 177, Green Bay. Leo enjoyed fishing, bowling and dartball. He was an usher, belonged to the Men's Club, and the dartball league at St. Mary of the Angels Church.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce; sons Gary (Jo Ann) Janus and Bruce (Chris) Janus, daughters Karen Pokorny and Diane (Jim) Colton; grandchildren Nicole (Brian) Mahn, Carrie Janus, Randy (Missy) Janus, Brenda Pokorny, Jeff and Corey Colton; great-grandchildren Tyler and Samantha Mahn; sister, Agnes Detry, Ashwaubenon; brothers Frank (Vi) Janus, Pelican Lake and Anton Janus, Oshkosh; sister-in-law Helen Janus; brother-in-law Leonard Susalla; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his former wife, Pearl Bukowski Janus; five brothers, Steve, Chuck, bill, Walter and John and four sisters, Stella, Wanda, Veronica and Antoinette.

Friends may call at Proko-Wall Funeral Home and Crematory, 1630 E. Mason St., from 4-8 p.m. Monday and after 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Parish wake service 6:30 p.m. Monday. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church, 645 S. Irwin St., with the Rev. Al Lis O.F.M. officiating. Burial in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.

James "Smitty" Smith
James "Smitty" Smith, 62, Green Bay. Visitation 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave. Funeral 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Survivors include a son, Shawn Smith, Green Bay; a daughter, Becky (Patrick) Konshak, Green Bay and three grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Vi; two sons, Don (Brenda) Vonckx, Florida and Ken Vonckx, Green Bay; a daughter, Jean (Paul) Eastman, Green Bay; eight grandchildren and two sisters, Marie "Mickey" (Claude) Hebert, Green Bay and Joanne Pamperin, Arizona.

Cecelia Rose (Baeb) Bolin
Cecelia Rose (Baeb) Bolin, 93, Green Bay, died peacefully Wednesday, March 24, 2004, at her home. She was born Dec. 10, 1910, in Green Bay to Felix and Mary Baeb. She married Leroy Bolin in 1939 and he preceded her in death on Oct. 12, 1984. Cecelia was employed for many years at Garot Christman Insurance. She was a member of Annunciation Parish, the Catholic Women's Club, the Catholic Foresters and AARP.

Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Mary and Roger Cichocki, Green Bay; Ruth Bolin, Nyack, N.Y.; three grandchildren, Lori (Scot) Haas, Jeffrey (Laura) Cichocki and Jacob Massoud; two great-grandchildren, Madalyn and Kaitlyn Haas; a sister, Marie Conn, a sister-in-law, Lucille Baeb; and a son-in-law, Anthony Massoud.

Cecelia was preceded in death by a daughter, Rita Massoud; three brothers, Edward Baeb, Norman Baeb and Joseph Baeb; one sister, Barbara Baeb Deviley; two sisters-in-law, Edna Baeb and Evelyn Baeb; two brothers-in-law, Norris Deviley and Charles Conn.

Friends may call at Annunciation Catholic Church, 401 Gray St., from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church with the Rev. Mike Ingold officiating. Entombment will be in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Cecelia's name. Blaney Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth; his children, Dolores and Victor Fischer, Pulaski, Eleanor and David Posen, Green Bay, Florian and Carol Wesolowski, Pulaski, Michael Cizman and Marlene Kryger, Pulaski; 23 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
