Survivors include her husband, Elmer, Green Bay; two daughters, Regina (Delbert) Watzka, Green Bay, Madella (Gene) Collins, Sturgeon Bay; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; one sister, Florence Dequaine, Green Bay.

Tenth St., De Pere, and after 9:30 a.m. Friday at St. Mary Catholic Community, 4805 Sportsman Drive, town of Ledgeview. Parish prayer service 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church. Survivors include his wife, Patricia; three sons, Gary (best friend, Neil Moore), Green Bay, Wayne (fiancˇe, Rachelle Bonine), Tampa, Fla, Todd, De Pere; two sisters, Toddy (Jerry) Daanen, De Pere, Mary (Jack) Dresdow, Oregon City, Ore.; one brother, Jerry (Carol) Diny, Wabeno.

Marie Drossart
Marie Drossart (Mrs. Raymond), 96. Visitation 9:30-11 a.m. Friday, April 2, at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 312 Victoria St. Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. April 2 at the church. Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., is assisting the family.

Janet Grunewald
Janet Grunewald, 83, Green Bay, formerly of St. Louis, Mo., died on Monday, March 22, 2004, at her home after an extended illness. Janet was born on Sept. 24, 1920, in Saint Louis, Missouri, the daughter of the late Guy and Elsie (Schmitter) Bryant. On Sept. 16, 1942 she married the Rev. W. Robert Grunewald.

Janet shared in Christian ministry as a pastor's wife. She was a teacher and mentor in the faith formation of many young children, youth, and young adults. She gave leadership to a variety of women's groups and choirs.

Janet's first love was music and singing. She enjoyed gardening and traveling with her husband, Bob. Her great gift was in the ways she shared her life with others. She loved children and "made a home" for many. She was the mother of two foster daughters, Linda and Kathy. Janet opened her home to an immigrant family from the Ukraine following World War II. She welcomed neighborhood children into the home. Janet was wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, great-aunt, cousin, neighbor, mentor and friend to many.

Janet is survived by her husband, Bob; one daughter and son-in-law, the Rev. Kay and Bruce Krejci, Green Bay; one son Paul Grunewald, Cleveland, Ohio; two granddaughters Sara Krejci, Cleveland, Ohio and Anna Krejci, Green Bay; one sister June Strassner, St. Louis; two brothers and two sisters-in-law Guy and Kay Bryant Jr., Stockton, Calif.; Don and Virginia Bryant, Stockton, Calif.; and her brother-in-law and wife the Rev. Dr. Harold and Rita Grunewald, St. Louis and sister-in-law and husband Eloise and the Rev. Dr. Richard Disseler, Pleasant Hill, Tenn. Janet is further survived by other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Lois, one foster daughter, Linda Williams; one brother Kenneth Bryant and one brother-in-law Herb Strassner.

A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday March 30, 2004, at Union Congregational Church United Church of Christ, 716 S. Madison St. in Green Bay with pastors Rev. Dr. Charles Mize and the Rev. Kay Krejci. The family will receive friends following the service in the English Room. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: the Ecumenical Partnership for Housing, Inc. c/o Union Congregational Church United Church of Christ 716 S. Madison St., Green Bay, WI 54301.

The family wishes to thank the staffs of Unity Hospice and St. Vincent Hospital, Dr. Roland Christian, and especially Dr. Gail Carels for all their loving care and compassion. Also we extend our gratitude to Union Congregational Church United Church of Christ especially to the Rev. Dr. Charles Mize and family for all their support and to John Hansen of Schauer & Schumacher Funeral Home for his attentive care.

Eugene "Gene" H. Hoell
Eugene "Gene" H. Hoell, 78. Visitation 2-4 p.m. Friday at Resurrection Catholic Church, 333 Hilltop Drive, Allouez. Mass of Christian Burial 4 p.m. Friday at the church. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Ann; one son, George (Lori), Green Bay; one daughter, Gloria (Carl) Sterling, Bradenton, Fla; one grandson; one brother, William (Sally Lynn), Green Bay; two sisters, Geraldine (Ken) Mathys, Green Bay, Rosemary (Dave) Rushka, Daly City, Calif. Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N. Webster Ave., De Pere, is assisting the family.

Jean M. Steeno
Jean M. Steeno, 77, De Pere, passed away Tuesday, March 23, 2004. The daughter of the late Russell C. and Blanche (Janquart) Reynolds was born on August 7, 1926, in Green Bay. She was a graduate of St. Joseph Academy. Jean married George Steeno August 16, 1947, at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral. Jean worked for J.J. Security, Inc. as a payroll clerk for 20 years until her retirement. She is a member of St. Mary Catholic Community, De Pere. Past president of St. Mary's Christian Ladies Society, past president of the De Pere Catholic Women' s Club. When her children were young Jean was active in both Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts. She was a volunteer at Notre Dame School, St. Mary's Quilters, Mobil Meals, and The Weidner Center. Jean enjoyed line dancing at the Y.

Survivors include her husband George; two daughters and their families, Georgia and Ed Duengel, Troy, Mich.; Diane and John Van Veghel and their daughters Katie and Abby all of De Pere; four sons and their families, Gary Steeno and son Allan of Newark, Ohio; Patrick and Jackie Ives Steeno and sons Neil and Kyle and daughter Claire of Thornton, Colo.; Charles and Sheila Steeno and sons Christopher (wife Stephanie) and Gerald and daughter Elizabeth of Tucson, Ariz.; David and Susie Steeno of Pasadena, Calif. One sister, Donna Schink of Fort Atkinson. Seven brothers, Russell A. and Esther Reynolds, Alan and Elaine Reynolds, Robert and Patricia Reynolds, Jack and Marge Reynolds, Vern and Jo Ann Reynolds, Peter and Janice Reynolds, Paul and Jean Reynolds, all of Green Bay. One beloved Aunt, Marie Janquart, Green Bay. Many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Blanche and Russell C. Reynolds of Green Bay; one sister, Blanche Krueger and her husband Lester of Merrill; one brother, Francis Reynolds of Green Bay and one brother-in-law, Donald Schink of Fort Atkinson. Friends may call at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N. Webster Ave., De Pere from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday March 26, 2004. There will be a parish wake service at 6 p.m. Visitation will continue Saturday, March 27, after 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Community, Pope John the XXIII Circle, off Sportsman Drive, Town of Ledgeview. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. John H. Harper officiating. Entombment in Allouez Chapel Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.

A special thank you to the comfort caregivers on 4th and 7th floors of St. Vincent Hospital.
