Lloyd J. Ettien, 61, Green Bay, died peacefully Tuesday, April 27, 2004, at a local hospital after an illness. Visitation at MALCORE Funeral Home, University Avenue at Baird Street, today from 8 a.m. until the time of the funeral service. Funeral service 11 a.m. today at the funeral home with Pastor Steve Ward officiating. Burial at Ft. Howard Cemetery.

John C. (Jack) Schroeder
John C. (Jack) Schroeder, 68, Green Bay, died unexpectedly Wednesday, April 28, 2004, at his home. Born in Bark River, Mich., on April 9, 1936, he is the son of the late Clarence and Celeste Schroeder. John served in the United States Army stationed in Germany and Korea. He married the former Joan Pollock in Sturgeon Bay. John worked at Graybar Electric for over 30 years until his retirement. He loved to garden, read, camp, fish, and times spent playing with his grand daughter. John was an avid Packer fan and proudly attended the "Ice Bowl". He was a member of the N.R.A. and Elks Club as well as currently attending the American Legion and Eagles Clubs.
John is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Paula and David Tauscheck of Green Bay; one granddaughter, Elizabeth Tauscheck at home; one sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Roy Whipple of Sturgeon Bay; one brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Sherron Schroeder of Kenosha; two brothers-in-law, Rex Lamour of Ishpeming, Mich., and Albert Carollo of Iron Mountain, Mich.; very special relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Thomas John Schroeder; three sisters, Marie Schroeder, Dorothy Larmour and Jane Carollo.
Visitation at MALCORE Funeral Home, University Avenue at Baird Street, Friday from 4-8 p.m. and prior to the funeral on Saturday. Funeral Saturday 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Ron Belitz officiating. Military honors to follow. Entombment at Allouez Chapel Mausoleum.
Joseph H. Wallace
Joseph H. Wallace, 87, died April 29, 2004. He was born on Dec. 3, 1916, to the late Henry and Angela (Novitski) Wallace. Joe served in the U.S. Army from March 1941 to July 1945. He is a WWII Veteran who received numerous decorations and citations during his service in the South Pacific. Among these were the Bronze Star, Purple Heart, four Bronze Battle Stars, and the Philippine Liberator Ribbon. Upon his return from service he worked at Hoberg Paper Mill, the Brown County Farm, and doing general farming on the family farm in the Tisch Mills area.
Survivors include his brothers and sisters, John (Grace) Wallace, Chester (Betty) Wallace, Irene Bushmaker, Violet (Robert) Leurquin, Lloyd Wallace, Henry (Diane) Wallace; numerous nephews, nieces, grand nephews and nieces and great-grand nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Wallace; and one sister and two brothers-in-law, Emma and John Munro and Louis Bushmaker.
Friends may call on Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Nativity Catholic Church in Tisch Mills. Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. Burial in the Church Cemetery. Proko-Wall Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements He will be missed by his family. Special thank you to Joseph's physicians as well as the Manor Care East staff who made Joe feel at home.

Bernard W. "Bernie" Vande Logt
Bernard W. "Bernie" Vande Logt, 74, of Bellevue, died Monday, August 2, 2004, following a brief illness. He was born September 11, 1929, in Little Chute to George and Catherine (Rutten) Vande Logt. Bernie was a 1947 graduate of St. Norbert High School, De Pere. On September 11, 1948, he married Helen Minor at St. Bonifice Catholic Church. Helen preceded him in death on June 18, 2003. For 30 years, he worked for Wisconsin Electric Type. He was later happily employed for Essco until his retirement in March of 1995. Bernie enjoyed bowling and playing bridge on Wednesdays at the Green Bay Senior Center.
Survivors include his children, Jane Gonion, Green Bay; Michael Vande Logt and his wife, Paulette, Eagan, Minn.; four grandchildren, Lynn Ringer and her special friend, Dan Bergh, Green Bay; Paul Ringer, Green Bay; Chad Vande Logt and Joshua Vande Logt, both of Eagan, Minn.; his brothers, sisters, and their spouses, Elmer and Evelyn Vande Logt, San Diego, Calif.; Trudy and Gene Kolb and Lee and Bill Kolb, all of De Pere.
He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents; one son-in-law, Daniel Gonion; two brothers, Anthony Vande Logt and Yvonne Vande Logt.

Friends may also call after 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 4767 Stage Coach Road. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church with Rev. Ron Belitz officiating. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, De Pere.
