Ronald L. Baumgart
Ronald L. Baumgart, 81, Green Bay, died Tuesday, June 14, 2004. He was born Aug. 29, 1922, in De Pere, the son of the late William and Grace (VanDenHeuvel) Baumgart. On June 9, 1943, Ronald married Elaine Eliason. He worked for Northwest Airlines fueling planes for 30 years. After his retirement Ronald and Elaine enjoyed spending time at their Florida home and up north at Bass Lake in Lakewood. Ronald had a love for flowers and gardening and for many years, made thousands of Christmas wreaths.

Survivors include one daughter, Sandra (Marlin) DuChateau, Amberg; one son, Jim (Connie) Baumgart, Seymour; a sister, Dorothy (Irvin) Roffers; two sisters-in-law, Cleo Eliason, Lois Oberer; six grandchildren, Jody (special friend, Derek), Jill (Steve), Susanne, Jeff, Mandy and Andy; two great-grandchildren, Justin and Kristin-nicknamed "Jetson" and "Christian" by Great-Grandpa.

Ronald was preceded in death by his loving wife, Elaine; and infant daughter; an infant grandson; a brother, Earl; and two sisters, Margaret and Angeline.

Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday. The Funeral Service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Anthony Dolski officiating.

Ronald's family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Kubsch and to the staffs of St. Mary's Hospital and Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Seymour for all of their kindness.

Anna Marie Holewinski
Anna Marie Holewinski, 86, Seymour, died early Tuesday morning, June 15, 2004, surrounded by her family, at a Green Bay hospital. The daughter of the late John & Josephine (Dempsky) Brusky was born January 15, 1918, in the town of Lessor. She was a life-long resident of the area and farmed her entire life. On June 24, 1936, she was united in marriage to Antone D. Holewinski. He preceded her in death June 22, 1989. She was a member of St. Stanislaus Church, Hofa Park. She was a life-long member of the choir and an organist for over 25 years. Anna's church and her children were an important part of her life. She was a past member of the Rosary Society and had a special devotion to Our Mother of Perpetual Help.

Survivors include her children: Arlyn (Judith Lardinois) Holewinski, Southampton, Pa., Fabian (Cynthia Dzuibla) Holewinski, Pulaski, Richard S. Holewinski, Seymour, William (Mary Rappert) Holewinski, Madison, Dennis (Sue Krawczyk) Holewinski, Richboro, Pa., Marvin (Marcia Mroczynski) Holewinski, Madison, Melanie (Donald) Smith, Pulaski; 20 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; one brother: Dr. Eugene Brusky, Green Bay; two sisters, Clara Thibedeau, Green Bay, Theresa Mertz, Boulder City, Nev.

She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Elaine; eight brothers; one sister.

Friends may call at St. Stanislaus Church, Hofa Park from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday. Wake Service 7:45 p.m. Friday. Visitation continues after 9 a.m. Saturday at the church. Funeral Mass 10 a.m. at the church, Fr. Patrick Gawrylewski, O.F.M. presiding. Burial in the parish cemetery. Marnocha Funeral Home, Pulaski is assisting the family.

A memorial fund has been established.

A special thank you to Donna (niece) & Bob Peterson & the staff of Bellin Hospital for all their special loving care.

John J. Whitcomb
John J. Whitcomb, 89, Green Bay. No services will be held, according to the family's wishes. Survivors include one son, Lee J. (Peggy) Whitcomb, Conyers, GA.; one daughter, Maureen Doyle, Concord, Calif.; four grandchildren. Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave. is assisting the family.

William P.'Bill' Cherney
William P. "Bill" Cherney, 87, Green Bay, died unexpectedly Sunday, June 13, 2004, at his home. He was born Aug. 23, 1916, in the town of Eaton, a son to the late Frank and Anna (Stodola) Cherney. On Aug. 17, 1940, Bill was united in marriage to Shirley Ruechel at Annunciation Catholic Church. Together they enjoyed 63 years of marriage until Shirley preceded him in death on Dec. 26, 2003. Bill was employed by International Harvester as a diesel mechanic for 17 years and was later employed by White Trucking Co. and Peterbilt Trucking Co. until he retired in 1987. William was a member of St. Jude Parish.

Survivors include four children and their spouses, Richard and Terry Cherney, De Pere; Nancy and Mike Ashford, Green Bay; Patricia Rolf, Little Suamico; Ronald and Jane Cherney, Ashwaubenon; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Mrs. Earl (Elsie) Orphal, West Bend; Mrs. Emil (Theresa) Klarkowski, Lillian and Dan Klarkowski, all of the town of Eaton; many nieces and nephews.

William was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley; his parents; a son, Dennis Cherney; two brothers, Martin and Thomas Cherney; and a sister, Anna Cherney.

Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday (today). A Parish Wake Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Jude Catholic Church with the Rev. Michael Ingold officiating. Entombment will be in Allouez Chapel Mausoleum.

Willis M. Clausen
Willis M. Clausen, 78, Seymour. Visitation 4-8 p.m. today at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, 358 S. Main St., Seymour, and 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at St. John's Catholic Church, 915 Ivory St., Seymour. Prayer service 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Survivors include his wife, Deloris, Seymour; three daughters, Donamae (Douglas) Kutska, Pulaski, Catherine (Mark) Morey, Washburn, Lori (Glen) Linsmeyer, Seymour; two sons, Allan (Carol Baumgart) Clausen, Pulaski, James St. (Robertta) Hazen, Florida; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.

Lorayne 'Nonnie' Herbst
Lorayne "Nonnie" Herbst, 85, went to her Savior's Presence on Sunday, June 13, 2004. She was the daughter of John and Flora (Everard) Sagle of Oconto Falls, born on September 27, 1918. In January 1944 she married Roy S. Herbst. Roy passed away September 20, 2000. She was a graduate of the Accredited College of Cosmetology and worked as a beautician in Green Bay for many years before retiring to have her family.

She is survived by one son, Dustin and wife, Daphne; two grandsons, Judd & Stacey, Brock & Heather; and two great-granddaughters, Ashton Elizabeth and Abigayle Kathleen, who are the only girls in the family and greatly loved. She is further survived by one brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Rodger and Alice Herbst, Lake City, Fla.; nephews, Tom (Charlotte) Micksch, Green Bay, Jack (Joyce) Micksch, Green Bay; as well as many other family and friends. Her greatest treasures were, God, Family and Friends.

Lorayne was preceded in death by two sisters, Mrs. J. V. Micksch, (Ethel), and Mrs. Claude Hanek (Honey); and three brothers, Orville, Loris and Harold Sagle.

Friends may call at Proko-Wall Funeral Home & Crematory, 1630 E. Mason St., on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. Parish prayer service 7 p.m. Visitation will continue on Thursday at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until the procession leaves for church. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m. at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 710 N. Baird, with Rev. Thomas Farrell officiating. Entombment in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.

May Eternal God receive her, and perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace, Amen. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Paul's Pantry.

Evelyn Legois
Evelyn Legois, 83, Green Bay. Visitation 4-8 p.m. today at Malcore Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird St., and prior to the funeral Wednesday at the funeral home. Parish wake service 6 p.m. today at the funeral home. Funeral 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Church, 5006 County Road K, Champion. Survivors include one son, Wayne Sr. (Marge) Legois, Green Bay; four grandchildren; two stepgranddaughters; 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Caroline (Marvin) Jonet, Town of Scott, Virgil (Wilfred) Jonet, Tonet.

James F. Myer, 73, Green Bay. No visitation will be held. Survivors include three sons, Jeffrey (Annette) Myer, Louisville, Ky., Gregory Myer, Louisville, Ky., Thomas Cotter, Gainesville, Fla; two daughters, Jenny (David) Laird, New London, Katy Lee, South Bend, Ind.; four grandchildren; one sister, Elizabeth Geaslin, Chicago, Ill. Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., is assisting the family.

Eleanor T. (Van Rens) Boehm
Eleanor T. (Van Rens) Boehm, 93, Green Bay, passed away on Friday, June 11, 2004, at home with her family by her side. Eleanor was born on March 7, 1911, in Glenmore, the daughter of the late George and Cecelia (Lambert) Van Rens. On November 23, 1944, she married Walter Boehm at Immaculate Conception Church in Glenmore and the couple enjoyed over 45 years together. Walter preceded her in death on June 19, 1990. Eleanor loved spending time in her gardens; whether she was planting flowers or vegetables, she always enjoyed being outside. She liked nature and watching the many birds that came to visit the feeders in her yard. Eleanor was an avid Packers fan and liked to watch the games as well as listening to the Brewers on the radio. She was an excellent cook and always enjoyed making meals for her family when they came to visit. Eleanor liked going to their cottage at Little Sturgeon to relax and do a little fishing. She cherished her family and the times spent with them. Eleanor will be lovingly remembered and sorrowfully missed.

Eleanor is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Roger and Susie Boehm, Green Bay; Curt and Su (Wallen) Boehm, Green Bay; four granddaughters, Michelle (Tom) Kreuser, Suamico, Jodi Neeley and her special friend Doug, Mishicot; Angela and (Jim) Lider, Kaukauna; Jennifer (Steven) Wirth, Mequon; three great-grandchildren, Tanner and Ryan Kreuser, Abigale Lider, one sister, Marie Manders, De Pere, two sisters-in-law, Ann Van Rens and Marion Van Rens; and her special friend Bunny. She is further survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Walter, four brothers and two sisters-in-law, Winfred and (Elma) Van Rens, Frank and Mae Van Rens, John Van Rens and Wilbur Van Rens, three sisters and three brothers-in-law, Mabel and Jim Dennis, Clara and Ray Bellin, Rose and Basil Patton.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday (TODAY) June 14, 2004, at Schauer & Schumacher Funeral Home 340 S. Monroe Ave. Parish Wake Service 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Visitation will continue after 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 15, 2004, at SS Peter & Paul, 710 N. Baird St. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m. at the church with the Rev. Thomas J. Farrell officiating. Burial at Allouez Catholic Cemetery.

The family would like to offer a special thank you to the staffs of the Aurora Baycare Visiting Nurses for all their kindness and compassion. Also, a warm note of appreciation to Curt and Su for all of the gentle and loving care shown to their mother.

Survivors include a son, Lyle Rivard, Greenville, Ill.; two daughters, Cindy Rivard and Cory (fiancee Wes Weihbrecht Sr.) Rivard, Green Bay; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Rose Mary (David) Ebeling).

Debra Lynn (Ninham) Sewell
Debra Lynn (Ninham) Sewell, 47, Oneida. Visitation 6-8 p.m. today and after 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N. Tenth St., De Pere. Oneida Hymn Singers at 6:30 p.m. and prayer service at 7 p.m. Funeral 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Survivors include her daughters, Shawana and Brandy Sewell; a son, Christopher Pursley; two grandsons; her mother, Sherlie Evison; her brother, Louis Ninham.

Stuart M. Smuckler
Stuart M. Smuckler, 74, Green Bay. Funeral 11 a.m. today at Schauer & Schumacher Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Ave. Survivors include his wife, Mary.

Mary Leona Walther
Mary Leona Walther, 93, De Pere. Visitation after 9:30 a.m. today at St. Mary Catholic Community, Pope John XXIII Circle, town of Ledgeview, until Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m. today at the church. Survivors include a son, Ted (Alyce) Walther, Tucson, Ariz.; a daughter, Joan (Dick) Mulvey, Bellevue; four grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Cotter Funeral Home, De Pere, is assisting the family.

Cyril A. Weber
Cyril A. Weber, a longtime resident of Green Bay, died Saturday, June 12, 2004, at a local nursing home. Cy was born June 28, 1918 in Two Rivers to the late John and Clara (Ruthmansdorfer) Weber. On November 29, 1947, Cyril married Hazel Ford at St, Luke Catholic Church in Two Rivers. He spent nine years in the military as a Ranger. He was serving at Pearl Harbor when it was bombed and served in several other campaigns, the last one being Guam. He was employed at Hamilton in Two Rivers and at American National Can in Green Bay. Cy always had beautiful gardens, loved racing pigeons, and enjoyed woodworking.

He is survived by his wife, Hazel; two daughters, Lynn Weber and her fiancee David Rynearson, Clare and Richard Anderson; her grandchildren, Jesse Schingen, Sarah Heimbach, Jennifer Weber U.S.N., Tom Weber U.S.N. He is also survived by a sister, Mrs. Francis (Cleo) Schmitt. He was preceded in death by a son, Max Weber, his parents and two brothers, John and Claude Weber.

There will be no visitation or funeral service. Blaney Funeral Home is assisting the Weber family. Cy's family would like to extend a very special Thank You to Dr. John Schrake and the wonderful staff at ManorCare-East for for their tremdendous care.
