Survivors include her husband, Barry, Fond du Lac; sons and daughters, Kim (Carl) Barkow, Shawano, John Begalke, Green Bay, Rachel Begalke, Jackson, Miss., Rebecca (Andre) LaDuc, Eugene, Ore, William Behrendt, Green Bay, Angela Behrendt, Green Bay, Bradley Behrendt, Fond du Lac; five grandchildren, Robert VanMeerbeck, Zach Grendziak, Adam Grendziak; godson, Cameron Behrendt, and Xavier Ward; her mother, Kathryn Fernandez, Fond du Lac; father and mother-in-law, Eldore E. and Joyce O. Eleanor T. (Van Rens) Boehm, 93, Green Bay. Arrangements are pending. Schauer & Schumacher Funeral Home and Cremation Services is assisting the family.

Lillian Brunner
Lillian Brunner, 79, Green Bay. Visitation 4-8 p.m. today at West Mason Malcore Funeral Home, 1530 W. Mason St., and after 10 a.m. Monday at St. Jude Church, 1423 Kellogg St. Parish wake service 7:30 p.m. today. Funeral 11 a.m. Monday at the church. Survivors include two sons, Edd Brunner, Madison and Anthony Brunner, Green Bay; two grandchildren; and a sister, Angie ³Angeline² Shaha, Green Bay.

Mary W. Geurts
Mary W. Geurts, Ashwaubenon, age 81, passed away Thursday June 10, 2004, at a local hospital. She was born May 31, 1923, in Ashwaubenon to the late Peter H. and Hattie (Gerrits) Baeten. She graduated from Nicolet High School, class of 1941. On April 28, 1942 ,she married Clarence "Chip" Geurts at St. Boniface Church, De Pere.

Mary's life was devoted to her family. She enjoyed cooking, and baking for them and could be found in the kitchen most often. Special times were all the holiday gatherings with her large family, especially Christmas, always serving the "family recipe." She also liked sewing, gardening, and crossword puzzles.

Survivors include her husband of 62 years, "Chip"; nine children and spouses, Marilyn (Don) Koltz, Jerry (Barb), Gene (Nancy), Glenn (Carol), Chuck (Mary), Dan, Roy (Sue) Debbie (Scott) Stimart, and Jeff (Julie); 25 grandchildren, Lisa, Laurie, Tina (Jerry), Tim, Steve (Pam), Scott, Mary Beth, Melissa (Jerod), Angela (Brad), Trisha, Shara, Brian (Colleen), Michelle, Nicole (Dan), Aron (Jenny), Charlie, Ben, David, Shanan, Jenna, Katie, Ross, Grant, Jacob, and Emily. Also 13 great-grandchildren, Kristin, Tony, Leah, Rachel, Andrew, Collin, Ryan, Julia, Brett, Jessica, Brianna, Megan, and Sam; her brother, Harold (Mary Ann) Baeten; two sisters, Helen De Ruyter, Donna (Roy) Bostedt; her sisters-in-law, Orella (Andrew) Albers, Theresa Elfe, Dorothy Mae Wicker, Marcella Seiler, and Evelyn Geurts. Many nieces and nephews further survive Mary.

Her parents and one sister, Ruth Olson, preceded her in death. Also her in-laws, Elmer, Frank, Leo, Robert, Ernest, and Bernard Geurts, Viola Leiterman, Donald De Ruyter, and Loren Olson.

Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, June 13, 2004 at the RYAN FUNERAL HOME 305 N. Tenth St., De Pere. A parish prayer service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue after 9:30 a.m. Monday, June 14, 2004, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church De Pere until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. with Fr. Conrad Kratz O.Praem officiating. Burial will take place at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed to the Geurts family at www.ryanfh.com . The family expresses their appreciation to Unity Hospice and the 9th floor nurses at St. Vincent Hospital. A memorial fund will be established.

Elroy W. Kudick
Elroy W. Kudick, 82, passed away on Wednesday, June 9, 2004, at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King, Wis. Elroy was born on January 17, 1922, in Montpelier to the late John and Amanda (Boetcher) Kudick. On October 6, 1942, he married the former Mary Gerstner and she preceded him in death on October 20, 1988. He served his country during WWII as a member of the US Army, 82nd Airborne Division. He was a member of the Bellevue VFW Post # 9677 as well as St. Philip the Apostle Parish. He was employed for 41 years at the Armour Company where he also served as Union Steward. Elroy was very committed to his family and friends and especially enjoyed time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He treasured his time with his longtime companion and friend Delores Reindl. He will always be remembered for his acts of kindness to his neighbors and friends.

Elroy will be sadly missed by his daughter Judith A. (Gary) Gillis, New London; son Wayne J. (Julie) Kudick, Fish Creek, as well as Leonard (Doris) Reindl, Manitowoc; the son of Elroy's loving companion Delores; grandchildren Kenneth (special friend Carrie Ann Greil) Gillis, Larsen, Connie (Matt) Hoffman, Appleton, Julaine (Kris) Kluever, New London, Nathan (Maggie) Kudick, Oconomowoc, Eric Gillis, Chicago and Aaron Kudick, Fish Creek; great-grandchildren, Katelyn Gillis, New London, Amanda Hoffman, Appleton, Meagan Gillis, New London, Kameron Kudick, Oconomowoc, Grayson Kluever, New London, Julian Kudick, Oconomowoc and Holden Kluever, New London; sister, Arlene (Paul) Gaedtke, Maribel; brother, Norman (Rae) Kudick, New Franken; and sisters-in-law, Frances ( Leonard) Kudick, and Martha (Ornie) Kudick as well as numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents and his wife he was preceded in death by his Loving Companion, Delores Reindl; brothers, Elmer Kudick, John Kudick, Leonard Kudick and Ornie Kudick.

Friends may call at Proko-Wall Funeral Home and Crematory, 1630 E. Mason St., 468-4111, on Sunday from 4-8 p.m. The VFW Post #9677 will provide military honors at 6:30 p.m. Sunday. Parish Prayer Service at 7 p.m. Sunday. Visitation will continue at the funeral home Monday from 9 a.m. until the procession leaves for church. Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 312 Victoria St., at 10:30 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Larry Canavera officiating. Interment at Nicolet Memorial Gardens.

The family would like to thank Elroy's neighbors for their kindness and friendship throughout the years, especially Marty and Tracey Briggs and Darold and Marlene Danielski. Also thank you to the staff and nurses of Bornemann Nursing Home as well as the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King Wisconsin. A memorial fund has been established in Elroy's name

Survivors include dear friend and companion, Sister Mary Alyce Lach, S.S.N.D.; other School Sisters of Notre Dame, including, Sr. Sylvia Hech, S.S.N.D., Sr. Helen Hendricks, S.S.N.D., and Sr. Ann Arthur Klinker, S.S.N.D.; three nieces, Bernice Hayes, Lorraine Mauskach, Muriel Hermans; three nephews, Lee McGuire, Charles de France, Jack de France; one sister-in-law, Margaret de France; other relatives and friends.

Harold "Harry" Hannan
Harold "Harry" Hannan, 87, De Pere. There will be no visitation or funeral service. Survivors include one sister, Rose Mary Brick. Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N. Tenth St., De Pere, is assisting the family.

Mae Rupiper
Mae Rupiper, 88, of Green Bay, passed away Wednesday evening, June 9, 2004, at Woodside Lutheran Home in Green Bay.

She was born December 12, 1915, in Lena, Wis., the daughter of the late John and Anna (Kirk) Fait. She had worked for many years at Larsen Canning Co. in Green Bay. On April 19, 1939, she married Clarence Rupiper in Spruce, Wis. He preceded her in death on December 31, 2003.

She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Green Bay. Mae was an excellent baker. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her three daughters, Gloria (Cy) Dernbach of Sturgeon Bay and their children, Lt. Thomas (Sr. Chief Susan) Dernbach; Lt.-Comder Timothy (Ali) Dernbach and their children, Brittany and Beret; Daniel (Kate) Dernbach and their child, Gus; Kristin and Ted Blackwood and their children, Amanda and Hannah; daughter, Terry (Richard) Schneider of Green Bay and their children Tara and Paul DeBruin and their children Caden and Peyton; Sarah and Robert Hoenig; Catherine Schneider; and daughter, Mary Cleeremans of Green Bay and her children (Jessica Cleeremans and Jamie Cleeremans).

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant daughter, Beverly, four brothers, and one sister. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday June 12, 2004 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Green Bay with Msgr. Brian Coleman as celebrant. Burial will be made in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. A memorial fund has been established in her name.

Survivors include her sons, Terry (Carleen), Colorado Springs, Scott, Vancouver, Wash., her daughter Shannon (Craig) Feeny, Tallahassee, Fla.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren
