Survivors include two daughters, LaVerne Jentz, Appleton, Dorothy Peterson, Black Creek; one sister, Marie (Gerhard) Pflueger, Fondu Lac; two brothers, Alfred and Carl (Frances) Spietz, all of California; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren. Monroe Ave. Survivors include two daughters, Kathy (Dave) Schulz, Cheri (Dave) Llewellyn, all of Green Bay; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Pauline Pakanich.

Austin Dery
Austin Dery, 82. Visitation 9:30-10:30 a.m. today at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 2040 Hillside Lane. Funeral service 10:30 a.m. today at the church. Survivors include his wife Cecilia, Green Bay; two sons, Dan (Sue) Dery, Sobieski, Tom (Teresa) Dery, Rockford, Minn; two grandsons. Malcore Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird St., is assisting the family.

Julia M. (Glime) Herlache
Julia M. (Glime) Herlache, Green Bay, died Tuesday, June 8, 2004, at a local hospital. She was born July 25, 1917, in Lena, Wis., to the late Jule and Mary (Jeanquart) Glime. After graduating from Lena High School, she moved to Green Bay and was employed by a local pharmacy. She married Lawrence Herlache on June 15,1939, at St. Charles Catholic Church, Lena. An avid fisherman all her life, her other interests included gardening, antiquing, playing bridge, traveling and bird watching.

Survivors include three sons and two daughters-in-law; Rod and special friend Sandy De Ruyter, DePere; Brian and Kathy, Maribel; and Lawrence Jr. and Paula, Grafton; two daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and Jule Abts, Green Bay; and Mary Lee and Michael O'Malley, Larsen; one daughter-in-law, Sandy Herlache, River Ridge, La.; 20 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Lawrence Herlache Sr., she was preceded in death by one son, Thomas; two brothers, Alvin and Harry Glime; and two sisters, Laura DeCleene and Clara Svejda.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 10, at Lyndahl Funeral Home, Lombardi Avenue at Ridge Road, where a wake service will be held at 7 p.m.. Visitation will continue after 9:30 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1224 12th Ave., where the Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Michael Ingold officiating. Entombment will be in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.

The family would like to thank the entire 7th floor staff at St. Vincent Hospital for their care and compassion. A memorial fund has been established for St. Joseph Parish School Endowment Fund. O most Heavenly Father, I thank you for this day. Amen

Raymond P. Hoffmann Jr.
Raymond P. Hoffmann Jr., De Pere, age 66, passed away Tuesday afternoon, June 8, 2004, at his home. He was born May 25, 1938, in Milwaukee to the late Raymond Sr. and Stella (Mueller) Hoffmann. On June 13, 1987, he was united in marriage to Judith Kresken at Peace Lutheran Church in Kunesh. In 2000 Ray retired from Gilbert Freight. He enjoyed going to his trailer in Pickerel and spending time with his friends, but above all Ray enjoyed spending quality time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Judy; his children; Linda (Tim) Zeske of Green Bay, Robin (Paul) Ihde of Green Bay, and Scott (Polly) Hoffmann of Merrill; his step children; Kevin (Lori) Kingsfield of Green Bay, Kathleen Dominiczak of Green Bay, David Kingsfield of Elkhorn, and Lisa (Todd) Miller of Oneida; 13 grandchildren, Jenna, Brittany, Allison, Brendan, Marissa, Daniel, Jared, Nicholas, Christina, Trevor, Sadie, Tucker, and Samantha; Ray's siblings; Elaine (Sal) Avila and Barbara (Gene) Schroeder. His nephew Tom Jessup and his niece (Godchild) Jennifer (Glenn) Kiel and members of Judy's family further survive.

His twin brother Robert preceded Ray in death.

Friends may call after 4 p.m Thursday (TODAY) at the RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 305 N. Tenth St., De Pere, 336-3171 until the time of service at 7 p.m. with Pastor Greg Watling officiating. Entombment will take place Friday at Nicolet Memorial Park & Mausoleum. Online condolences may be expressed to the Hoffmann family at www.ryanfh.com. In Lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established for Peace Lutheran Church, Kunesh.

Survivors include her husband, Adolph; one daughter, Barbara (Wayne) Wnuk, Pulaski; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.

(Theresa) Drewieske, Denmark, Allen (Janet) Drewieske, Leonard (Cindy) Drewieske, Milton Drewieske, Stanley Drewieske, all of Green Bay, LeRoy (Mary) Drewieske, Greenleaf; 19 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.

Lawrence 'Larry' Krouse
Lawrence "Larry" Krouse, 75, a lifelong Green Bay area resident, died peacefully, Sunday, June 6, 2004. He was born January 2, 1929, to John and Mary (DeGroot) Krouse. Larry was a graduate of St. Willebrord Catholic Grade School and Central Catholic High School, Class of 1948. He joined the Naval Reserve in 1948 and served until 1951, later serving his country in the U.S. Navy from 1952 until 1953. On October 13, 1951, Lawrence was united in marriage to Elizabeth VanDommelen at St. Joseph Catholic Church, De Pere. Together, they enjoyed more than 47 years together before Betty's death on May 11, 1999. After his discharge, Larry worked for Olson Transportation, later C.W. Transport until his retirement. He volunteered at Rennes Health Center and Woodside Lutheran Home and ushered at St. John the Baptist and St. Willebrord Parishes. Larry loved bird watching, fishing, spending time at his cottage up north and was an avid Packers fan.

Survivors include three children and their spouses, Roy and Kathy Krouse, Karen Rott, Bill and Sarah Krouse; five grandchildren, Sara Krouse, Lauren Krouse, Jeremiah (Amy) Rott, Jacob Rott, Joel (special friend, Trish) Rott; one sister, two brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law, Merci and Orlando Picard, Bob Harris, Dorothy Engel; many nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by his parents; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Agnes and Harold VanDommelen; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Lloyd and Gen Krouse, Roy Krouse; four sisters and one brother-in-law, Bea and Gabe Lerquin, Ethel Harris, Sr. Mary Denise Krouse, Catherine Krouse, one brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Arthur and Norman VanDommelen.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave. Friends may also call after 9:30 a.m. Friday at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1484 Ninth St. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church with Rev. Richard Getchel officiating. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, De Pere.
