Donald Joseph Dax
Donald Joseph Dax, 81, Luxemburg, passed away peacefully,with his family at his side early Thursday morning, November 4, 2004, at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay. Donald was born in Scarboro, Wis., November 24, 1922, to the late Joseph and Esther (Friex) Dax. On September 23, 1950, Donald married Verle Wery at Holy Trinity Church, Casco. Donald was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters St. Mary's Ct. 1056. He was a mechanic for the Luxemburg-Casco School District retiring in 1984. His enjoyments included working on cars, hunting, fishing, snowmobling,dancing, playing cards and spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Donald is survived by his wife Verle and their children: Michael (Sharon) Dax, Luxemburg, Mary (Todd) Ouradnik, Casco, Joan VandenBush, Luxemburg, Janet (Dennis) Delebreau, Casco, Julie (Jim) Johnson, Luxemburg, Rodney (Alison) Dax, Luxemburg; 18 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, two brothers and two sister in laws; Joseph and Susie Dax, Larry and Carolyn Dax, all of Luxemburg; two sisters and one brother in law; Myra Daul, Luxemburg, Esther and Bob Borkovetz, Sturgeon Bay; four brothers in law and five sisters in law, Valeria Romuld, Luxemburg, John and Mary Wery, Green Bay, Larry and Elaine Wery, Casco, Arlen and Judy Wery, Algoma, Ron and Judy Wery, Green Bay.

Donald was preceded in death by one son in law, Kelly VandenBush, one sister, Doris Dax, two brothers in law, Robert Daul and Ronald Romuld.

Friends may call at MCMAHON FUNERAL HOME, LUXEMBURG, 3 to 8 p.m., Friday (today) . Visitation continues after 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Church, Luxemburg. Prayer service 6 p.m. Friday. Funeral 11 a.m. Saturday at the church with Rev. Milton Suess off. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery.

The Dax family wishes to thank the staff at Kewaunee Health Care Center, Drs. and staff of 7th floor St. Vincent Hospital for care given to Donald.

Survivors include two daughters, Karen Younke, Baltimore, Md., Debra (Jon-Marc) Fueger, Brookfield; two sons, Gregory (Laura) Carlson, Whittier, Calif., Scott Carlson (Juliet), St. Paul, Minn.; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

Viola A. Crambeau
Viola A. Crambeau, 104, Green Bay. Arrangements are pending; Malcore Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird St., is assisting the family.

Marian G. Ellis
Marian G. Ellis, 88, a long time Green Bay resident, passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2004, at Saint Mary's Care Center in Madison, Wis., following a long illness.

Friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. on Monday, November 8, 2004, at Resurrection Catholic Church, 333 Hilltop Drive, Allouez. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at the church with Rev. Paul Demuth officiating. Entombment at Allouez Chapel Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Marian's name.

Schauer & Schumacher Funeral Home and cremation Services (432-4841) is assisting the family Precious Kanata?kekha? Metoxen, infant, Oneida.

William Charles Nelson
William Charles Nelson, 81, Green Bay. Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. today at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral, 140 S. Monroe Ave. Survivors include his wife, Dorothea Nelson; one son, Charles, New York City; two daughters, Ann Louise, Boca Raton, Fla., Jeanne (Michael) Wentworth; two granddaughters. Proko-Wall Funeral Home and Crematory, 1630 E. Mason St., is assisting the family.

Anthony M. Smole
Anthony M. Smole, 65, of De Pere, died Thursday, November 4, 2004, at home. Funeral services will be held at Resurrection Catholic Church, with day and time to be announced. Complete arrangements will be published in the next edition.

Margaret E. Taylor, 90, Green Bay, formerly Pulaski. Visitation after noon today at Marnocha Funeral Home, 186 E. Pulaski St., Pulaski. American Legion Auxiliary service 1:45 p.m. today at the funeral home. Funeral service 2 p.m. today at the funeral home. Survivors include one daughter, Carol (Jim) Paska, Wausau; three grandchildren.
