Irene M. Metz, 92, Medford, died Wednesday, Nov. 9 at the Memorial Health Center emergency room after being taken there from the Memorial Nursing Home. Funeral services are Saturday, Nov. 12 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Medford, with Father Gerard Willger and Deacon Joe Stefancin officiating. Visitation is Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Hemer Funeral Home in Medford. There will be a 6:30 prayer service.

Dean Rehbein, 52, Conrath, died Wednesday, Nov. 9 at Rusk County Memorial Hospital in Ladysmith. Funeral services are Saturday, Nov. 12 at 2:30 p.m. at Hemer Funeral Home in Medford. Burial will follow in Medford Evergreen II Cemetery. Visitation begins at 11 a.m.

Elda Ruth Ludwig, 85, Dorchester, died Wednesday, Oct. 26, at her residence where she had lived since 1941. Funeral services were on Tuesday, Nov. 1, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Louis Catholic Church in Dorchester with Father Paul Gitter officiating. Burial was in Dorchester Memorial Cemetery. Grandchildren served as pallbearers.
Visitation with family and friends was at Maurina Funeral Home in Dorchester on Monday, Oct. 31, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. There was a parish rosary at 4:30 p.m. and a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Norma M. Mahl, 75, Abbotsford, died Monday, Oct. 31 at Continental Manor Nursing Home in Abbotsford. Funeral services will be a 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 3 at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Abbotsford, with Father Paul Gitter officiating. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery in Curtiss. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, George LoCoco, Steven Nuernberger, Jason Nuernberger, Joseph Mahl, Daniel Soyk, Ryan Soyk, Joshua Soyk, Jordan Soyk, Robert Mahl Jr., Michael Mahl, Kyle Mahl and Cody Mahl.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 5 at First United Methodist Church in LaGrange, Ind., with Rev. Dexter Garman officiating. Burial will be at Wauzeka Cemetery in Wauzeka. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 4 at Frurip-May Funeral Home in LaGrange. Other visitation will be held at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Wauzeka on Sunday, Nov. 6 from 1 to 3 p.m.

Lawrence “Larry” “Butch” Michael Rusnak Sr., 62, Rib Lake, died Sunday, Oct. 30 at Memorial Health Center in Medford. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 4 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Rib Lake, with Father Ron Kowalski and Deacon Paul Ochodnicky officiating. Interment will be at Lakeview Cemetery in Rib Lake. Pallbearers will be Dennis Flynn, Andy Weinzatl, Pete Peterson, Dave Scheuer, Veto Mattera, Jay Rusnak and Curt Frahm.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. at Dallmann-Kniewel Funeral Home in Rib Lake on Thursday, Nov. 3, and on Friday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. There will be a parish prayer service on Thursday at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Former Medford resident Florence Evelyn Westrich, 83, Tomah, died Thursday, Oct. 13 at Tomah Health Care Center. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, Oct. 18 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Union Grove, with Rev. David Peters and Rev. John Meyer officiating. Interment took place at Oak Grove Cemetery in the Town of Raymond. Her grandchildren served as pallbearers.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 28 at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Medford, with Pastor John Melke officiating. Burial will take place at Medford Evergreen Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his grandchildren, Rhody and Jody Kraemer, Bradley Mayer and Craig Czeshinski.

Curtis “Curt” Gust Johnson, 71, died Sunday, Oct. 23, at Memorial Health Center in Medford. Visitation will be at the Dallmann-Kniewel Funeral Home in Rib Lake from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Thursday, October 27. Full military honors conducted by the Spirit American Legion Post will take place at 1 p.m.
