Funeral services were held on Monday, Oct. 24 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Rib Lake, with Father Ron Kowalski and Deacon Paul Ochodnicky officiating. Interment took place at Lakeview Cemetery in Rib Lake. Pallbearers were Mark Czekay, Paul Kolecheck, George Dums, Mitch Miller, Nathan Malovrh and Spencer Malovrh.

Former Ogema resident James “Jim” L. Kring, 76, Rib Lake, died Monday, Oct. 24 at Rib Lake Health Care Center. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 30 at Spirit United Methodist Church with Reverend Rebecca Niese officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Sunday from 1 p.m. until the time of service.

Amelia H. Malecki, 82, Thorp, died Wednesday, Oct. 19, at Our Lady of Victory Hospital in Stanley.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, Oct. 22 at St. Bernard-St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church in Thorp, with Father Michael Mertens officiating. Burial took place at Old St. Hedwig’s Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jim Malecki, Don Malecki, Ken Malecki, Russell Malecki, Evan Adams and Greg Gwiazda.

Cremainal interment will take place at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Durand at a later date. Pallbearers were Stephanie Voegele, David, Ryan and Toni Bates, all grandchildren.

Funeral services were on Wednesday, Oct. 12 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Edgar with Reverend Matthew Christians officiating. Burial took place at the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Albert Wolf, Donald Kunkel, Dan Mielke, Edward Mielke Jr., William Giese and Paul Williams.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, Oct. 14 at 10:30 a.m. at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Rib Lake, with Father Dennis Meulemans and Dn. Paul Ochodnicky officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery in Westboro. Pallbearers are Brian and Eric Johnson, Doug Maier Jr., Adam Irmischer, Wayne Tiedke, Mike Rantanen, Mike Studt and Doug Maier Sr. Leo Johnson is an honorary pallbearer.
Visitation is Thursday from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at the Dallmann-Kniewel Funeral Home in Rib Lake, followed by a parish prayer service and rosary. Visitations begins Friday at 9:30 a.m. at the church.

Audrey T. Jentzsch, 71, Medford, died Sunday, Oct. 9 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield, where she had been a patient for almost three weeks, after a long battle with cancer. Funeral services were Wednesday, Oct. 12 at The United Church Of Christ in Medford, with Pastor Jim Briney officiating. Burial was in Medford Evergreen Cemetery. Pallbearers were Marty and Fred Heier, Jason Jentzsch, David Zenner, Marvin Frey, Tom Drost, Scott Jensen and Paul Schmidt. Honorary pallbearers were Kurt Jentzsch, Sharon Brodin, Donna Goodman, and Marcy Thiede.
