Joseph F. Beaudin
Joseph F. Beaudin, 67, 1494 Mennen Ct., died Tuesday, April 11, 2000 at a local hospital. He was born April 10, 1933 in Green Bay to the late Alderic J. and Frances M. (Banczak) Beaudin. Joe had worked at the Orpheum Theater from 1950 until 1952. He was also employed at Fort James Paper Company for 43 years. During the Korean War he served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the American Legion Post #11, and the D.A.V. Russell Leicht Chapter 3. He was also a member of St. Jude Parish. He is survived by his wife, Colleen; two sisters and brother-in-law, Virginia and Frank Prochnow, Wauwatosa; June Dessart, Green Bay; two sisters-in-law, Gladys Beaudin, Two Rivers; Sadonna Blindauer, Green Bay; and two brothers-in-law, Patrick Piron, Phoenix, Ariz.; Michael Piron, Calif.; his many nieces and nephews, Jim and Judy Prochnow, Julie and Mike Marshall, Joyce Hertel, Candace and Mark Graupman, Dawn and Luis Vargas, John and Laurie Dessart, Paul and Sherri Blindauer, and Patrick and Jolene Blindauer. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Eugene; his sister, Aurelia; and a brother-in-law, Raymond Blindauer. Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Avenue, from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday. There will be an American Legion Memorial Service at 6:30 p.m. and a Parish Wake Service at 7:30 p.m. Friday. Friends may also call at St. Jude Catholic Church, 1420 Division St., from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. Saturday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church with Rev. Ron Belitz officiating. Burial will be in Allouez Catholic Cemetery.
Joe’s family would like to extend a very warm thank you to the doctors and nurses of St. Mary’s Hospital ICU, the staff of Unity Hospice, Deacon Nick Williams, Tracy Hamelink of St. Mary’s Hospital and Ann Froelich of St. Jude Parish. A memorial fund is being established in his name.

Marlo C. Larschied
Marlo C. Larschied, 68, of the Town of Little River, died Tuesday, April 4, 2000 at his home. He was born to the late Ernest and Gertrude (Larschied) Reschke May 2, 1931 in Coleman, WI. Marlo had a career as a mechanic in the United States Army. He earned many honors including: the Army Occupation Medal in Japan, the Vietnam National Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Campaign Medal, one Army Commendation Medal and five Over Seas Bars. Marlo retired after serving his country for 20 years. He is survived by his favorite uncle, Don (Ruth) Larschied, Red Granite, WI; uncle Mike Ottole, Bokeelia, FL; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Services will be announced at a later date by Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Oconto.

Elizabeth A. Schultz
Elizabeth A. Schultz, 86, Oconto Falls died April 7, 2000 at an Oconto Falls Nursing Home. She was born January 8, 1914 at Lena to the late Jerry and Josephine (Chadek-Witak) Chad-ek. She married Joseph Schultz April 21, 1931; he preceded her in death in 1977. The couple lived most of their lives in Two Rivers until retiring to Oconto in 1966. She was a member of Holy Trinity Parish and Gold Star Mothers. Survivors include two daughters, Diana Graykowski and special friend Ron, Manitowoc; Patricia Grainger and special friend Ron, Two Rivers; two sons, John (Mary) Schultz, Oconto; Robert (Jean) Schultz, Oconto; a brother, Ernie (Agnes) Witak, Peshtigo; three sisters, Marie Rosenthal, Manitowoc; Mary Treichel, Green Bay; Anette (Jerry) Degeneffe, Green Bay; 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; a son Richard who died in the Korean Conflict; two brothers, Arthur Witak and Fritz Witak; a sister, Julia Petrashek; a son-in-law, Stanley Graykowski. Friends called at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto where the Gold Star Mothers held a service. A parish wake service was also held. Mass of Christian Burial was 2 p.m. Tuesday at Holy Trinity Parish, St. Joseph Site with Rev. David C. Ruby officiating. Burial at Oconto Catholic Cemetery.

Clarence W. Chilson
Clarence W. Chilson, 82, of Milwaukee, WI died March 22, 2000. He was preceded in death by his wife Evelyn (Gunderson), his parents, and his sister, Mary. Survivors include one son, Kenneth (Carol); five grandchildren, Dawn, Steven, Julie, Paul and Lori; 14 great-grandchildren; one brother, Francis (Frances); nieces, nephews and other relatives. He served in World War II. He was an avid golfer and bowler who worked at Allen-Bradley for over 35 years. A visitation for Clarence was held at Wisconsin Memorial Park Family Center. Church and Chapel Funeral Service assisted the family.

Marion M. Kowalczyk
Marion M. Kowalczyk, 71, Lena, died at her home Thursday, April 6, 2000. She was born to the late John and Emma (Nooyen) Henrichs January 19, 1929, in Lena, WI. The former Marion Henrichs married Jack Kowalczyk July 19, 1947, at the former St. Charles Catholic Church of Lena. She devoted her life to being a loving wife and mother. Marion enjoyed gardening, canning and caring for her family and home. She was an active member of Holy Cross Catholic Community. Surviving are her husband, Jack; three daughters, Mary (Jerome) Pashouwer, Appleton; Laurie Kinziger, Lena; and Julie (special friend Jim Marquardt) Diehlmann, Lena; six grandchildren; three brothers, Milton Henrichs, Boulder Junction; Jack (Betty) Henrichs, Indiana ; Jerry (Judy) Henrichs, Lena; two sisters, Gloria (Doug) Dorrow, Kelly Lake; Carol (Delbert) Krause, Marinette; two sisters-in-law, JoAnne Skarda, Lena; and Pat (Allen) Pelishek, Oconto. Friends called at the Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Lena, where a parish vigil service was held. The Funeral Mass was held at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Lena at 11 a.m. Monday with Father Frank Schrage officiating. Interment at Pine Hill Cemetery, Spruce.

Victoria'Vicki' M.(Meverden) Brefozynski
Victoria "Vicki" M. (Meverden) Brefczynski, 46, Green Bay, died early Monday morning, April 3, 2000 at a Green Bay hospital from a stroke. She was born April 7, 1953 in Oconto Falls to Hilary and Betty (DeWindt) Meverden. Vicki grew up in Oconto Falls and attended school, graduating from high school with the class of 1971. Following graduation she attended NWTC. Vicki lived in Oconto Falls for a short time before moving to Green Bay where she was employed at Schultz's Restaurant on Main Street and most recently at Kitchen Fresh Foods for many years. Vicki was very proud of her children and their accomplishments. She also enjoyed preparing food for her family and friends. Survivors are her three children, Clifford Hoffman, Waupaca; Jason and Dana Brefczynski, both of Green Bay; one sister, Cynthia (David) Schroeder, Antigo; one brother, Brad Meverden, Minnesota; two very special aunts, Leona Petiniot, Allouez and Rita Berg, Green Bay and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty in 1984 and father, Hilary in 1996. Friends called at Jones Funeral Service in Oconto Falls after 4 p.m. Wednesday until the time of services. Funeral service was held 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Patricia M. DeGroot, parish director of St. Anthony's and St. Patrick's Catholic Churches officiating. Burial in St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery, Oconto Falls.

Dorothy Jean McWilliams
Dorothy Jean McWilliams, 75, Oconto, died peacefully, at home with her family, on April 7, 2000. Dorothy was born February 4, 1925 at Wauwatosa, WI to the late John and Irene (Day) Collins. She married Daniel McWilliams; he preceded her in death March 11, 1984. Dorothy worked as a nurses aide at the Oconto Memorial Hospital for 28 years retiring in 1994. She was a member of Holy Trinity Parish. Survivors include three daughters, Constance Mitchell, Burton, TX; Patricia McWilliams, Bel- laire, TX; Mary Lou Svec, Katy, TX; four sons, Michael, Houston, TX; John, Middle Inlet, WI; Timothy (Gudren), Menominee, MI; Tom (Leslie), Brookside; a sister, Helen Galli, Minereal Point, WI; five grandchildren. Friends called at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto where a parish wake service was held. Mass of Christian Burial was conducted 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 11, 2000, at Holy Trinity Parish, St. Joseph Site with Rev. David C. Ruby officiating. Burial at Oconto Catholic Cemetery.

Laddie J. Stodola
Laddie J. Stodola, 85, of 451 E. Main St., Coleman died Friday March 31, 2000 at St. Mary Hospital Medical Center, Green Bay. The son of George J. and Josephine C. (Buresch) Stodola was born June 28, 1914 at Klondike. He was a 1932 graduate of Coleman HighSchool. Laddie was married to Gladys Hansen on October 16, 1937 at St. Wenceslaus Church, Klondike. He owned and operated the Coleman Elevator in partnership with his father, George, Sr. and his brotehrs, George and Lawrence until his retirement. He served on the Coleman Village Board, was a member of the Coleman Fire Dept., served on the Coleman Housing Board as Vice-President, 3rd degree member of the K of C Council 6689 of Coleman, and was a member of Ss. Francis & Wenceslaus Church, Coleman. Surviving are his wife, Gladys; five children, Judy (Vernle) Durocher, Coleman; Charles (Cheryl) Stodola, Crivitz; Carole (Carl) Disparti of Lake Geneva, WI; Michael (Doreen) Stodola, Round Lake Beach, IL; and Michelle (Steven) LeRoy of Champlin, MN; nine grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; one brother, Elwin (Gibby) Stodola, Klondike. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and three brothers. Friends called at Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Coleman where a K of C vigil and a parish wake service was held. Funeral Mass was conducted Tuesday 11 a..m. at Ss. Francis & Wenceslaus Church, Coleman. Interment in St. Wenceslaud Cemetery, Klondike.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in his memory.
