Former Medford resident Matilda "Tillie" E. Erickson, 85, Santa Rosa, Calif., died Wednesday, Sept. 7 at her home. Funeral services were Wednesday, Sept. 14 at Hemer Funeral Home in Medford, with Rev. Paul Steinberg officiating. Burial was in Perkinstown Community Cemetery. Pallbearers were Dale and Jim Ploeckelman, Richard, Aaron, Justin and Adrian Lannigan. Dory Lannigan was an honorary pallbearer.

Adeline Lato
(1929-2005)
Adeline Lato, age 75, longtime resident of the Gilman area passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Sept. 7 at the Zastrow Care Center in Gilman. A Memorial Mass will be held Monday, Sept. 26, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Gilman, with Father John Long officiating.
Plombon Funeral Service is assisting the family.
The former Adeline Przybylski was born September 24, 1929 in Gilman, the daughter of the late Julian and Mary (Andruszkiewicz) Przybylski. She grew up in the Gilman area and attended area schools.

Charles Mis
(1915-2005)
Charles Aloise Mis, 90, Lublin, died Monday, Sept. 12 at Oakbrook Health and Rehab in Thorp. Funeral services were Thursday, Sept. 15 at the Thorp Funeral Home Chapel with Father Keith Apfelbeck officiating. Burial was in St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery in Lublin.

Ruth Peissig
(1915-2005)
Ruth Evelyn Peissig, 90, Rib Lake, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 6 at the Rib Lake Health Care Center. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Monday, Sept. 12 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Rib Lake with Father Ron Kowalski and Deacon Paul Ochodnicky officiating.
Interment was in Lakeview Cemetery in Rib Lake. Pallbearers were Todd Peissig and Jeff, Mike, Steve, David and Jody Jasurda.
Dallmann-Kniewel Funeral Home of Rib Lake assisted the family with arrangements.

Mary Lou Pernsteiner
(1919-2005)
Mary Lou Pernsteiner, 86, Medford, died Sunday, Sept. 11 at the Rib Lake Health Care Center where she had resided for nine days. Funeral services were Wednesday, Sept. 14 at The United Church Of Christ in Medford, with Pastor Jim Briney officiating. Burial was in Medford Evergreen Cemetery II. Pallbearers were Craig Czeshinski, Marshall and Jim Kleist, Lloyd Lindahl, Herman and Tim Pernsteiner.
Hemer Funeral Service of Medford assisted the family with arrangements.

Bernice Scheffler
(1926-2005)
Bernice Lillian Scheffler 79, Athens, died Thursday Sept. 8, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield. Funeral services were Sunday Sept. 11 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Athens, with Rev. Donn Radde officiating. Burial was in the Athens Lutheran Cemetery. Pallbearers were Shawn and Virgil Weiler, Bob Scheffler, Brad and Adnay Luetschwager, and Mike Verpoorten.
Maurina/Community Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.

Dolores Schumacher
(1937-2005)
Dolores A. Schumacher, 68, Stetsonville, died Thursday, Sept. 8 at her home. Funeral services were Monday, Sept. 12 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Stetsonville, with Father Ken Stachyra officiating. Burial was in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers were brothers Ray, Jim, Peter and William Becker.
Hemer Funeral Service assisted the family with arrangements.

Nellie Tlusty, 88, Rib Lake, passed away Tuesday, September 6 at the Rib Lake Health Care Center. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, Sept. 9 at 10:30 a.m. at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Rib Lake, with Father Dennis Meulemans and Deacon Paul Ochodnicky officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery in Westboro. Pallbearers are James L., Jerome, James P., Patrick, Peter and Adam Tlusty. Visitation is Thursday at the church from 4 to 7 p.m., and Friday beginning at 9:30 a.m.
Dallmann-Kniewel Funeral Homes of Medford and Rib Lake are serving the family.
The former Elsie Hanson was born March 10, 1909 Larry Gene "Tex" Adams, 52, Prentice, died Friday, Aug. 12 at Memorial Health Center in Medford. Funeral services were Tuesday, Aug. 16 at Prentice High School, with Pastor H. David Root of the Ogema Baptist Church officiating. Burial was in the Prentice Cemetery, with the Southern Price County Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 8491 conducting military honors.

Barbara Chaplinski
(1945-2005)
Barbara Ann Chaplinski, 59, Palos Hills, Ill. died Wednesday, July 20 at her home. A memorial service was held July 23 in Hickory Hills, Ill. A mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, Aug. 12 at 10:30 a.m. at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Gilman, with Rev. John Long officiating. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Cemetery in Gilman.
Gilman Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Robert Ecklund
Robert Michael Ecklund, 63, died Tuesday, July 26. A memorial service was held Monday, Aug. 1.
Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen, Texas assisted the family with arrangments.

Richard Cox
(1926-2006)
Richard Cox, 79, Abbotsford, died on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2006, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield, where he was admitted on January 21, 2006. Funeral services for Richard were held on Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2006 at United Pentecostal Church in Medford, with Reverend Brian Michael officiating. Burial was at Abbotsford Public Cemetery with Mike Selby, Kent Staab, Ed Hoeck, Jim Hoeck, Gerry Ross and Bill Bauer serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were Loren Venzke, Kenneth Rickaby, John Rickaby, Earl Hoeck, Fred Jensen Jr. and Bernard Selby.
Maurina/Community Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.

Rose Galler
Rose Agnes Galler, 94, of Rhinelander, died Tuesday, Feb. 7 at Friendly Village Nursing Home. Funeral services will be conducted in Rhinelander by Hildebrand-Russ Funeral Home. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Medford.

(1939-2006)
Lillian C. Heath, 66, Hawkins, died Wednesday, Feb. 1 at her home. A memorial service was held on Saturday, Feb. 4 at Jump River Community Center, with Pastor Terry Sellers officiating.

Albert Johnson
Albert Robert “Rob”, “AJ” Johnson, 85, Medford, died Sunday, Feb. 5 at Memorial Nursing Home in Medford under the care of Hope Hospice.
Dallmann-Kniewel Funeral Homes of Medford and Rib Lake are assisting the family with arrangements.

Father John Regh
(1926-2006)
Father John A. Regh, 79, Prentice, died Sunday, Feb. 5. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, Feb. 9 at 11 a.m. at St. Paul the Apostle Church with Bishop Raphael M. Fliss as celebrant, and Father James J. Jackson as homilist. Interment will be at the Catawba Cemetery at a later date.
Heindl Funeral Home of Phillips assisted the family with arrangements.

Magdalen Rhyner
(1924-2006)
Magdalen “Madge” Rhyner, 81, Dorchester, died Wednesday, Feb. 1 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield. Funeral services were held on Saturday, Feb. 4 at St. Louis Catholic Church in Dorchester, with Father James Schaefer officiating. Burial was at Dorchester Memorial Cemetery.

Michele Simonin

Michele “Shelly” M. Simonin, 55, Sacramento, Calif., died Wednesday, Jan. 4 at a Sacramento convalescent home. Memorial services were held Saturday, Jan. 14 at Newton-Bracewell Funeral Home in Chico, Calif.

Katie Hartke
(1981-2005)
Katie Hartke, 24, Hazel Green, died Tuesday, Jan. 24 from injuries received in a Price County automobile accident. Funeral services were Saturday, Jan. 28 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Hazel Green. Burial was in the church cemetery. A memorial service was held Tuesday, Jan. 31 at Prentice High School.
Haudenshield Funeral Home of Cuba City assisted the family with arrangements.
