Louise E. Pavur, 76, Athens, died Tuesday, June 6 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield. Funeral services were held on Friday, June 9 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Medford, with Father Gerard Willger and Deacon Joe Stefancin officiating. Burial was at Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery in Medford. Honorary pallbearer was her grandson, Roger Knight. Active pallbearers were her grandsons, Aaron Knight and Matthew Beane, and friends, John Lemke, Neal Hoffman, William Knight and Arlie Knight.
Hemer Funeral Service of Medford assisted the family with arrangements.

Herman Pitkanen
(1918-2006)
Former Town of Hill resident Herman Andrew Pitkanen, 88, Park Falls, died Wednesday, June 7 at Park Manor Nursing Home in Park Falls, where he had resided the past 11 years. Funeral services were held Saturday, June 10 at Dallmann-Kniewel Funeral Home in Rib Lake, with Rev. Robert J. Giese officiating. Interment was at Leavitt Creek Cemetery in the Town of Hill.

Marion Sciezor
(1933-2006)
Former Lublin resident Marion W. Sciezor Jr., 73, of Wautoma, died Saturday, June 10 at Berlin Memorial Hospital. A prayer service was held Monday, June 12 at Leikness Funeral Home in Wautoma, with Rev. Philip Dinh-Van-Thiep officiating.
Marion Sciezor was born April 29, 1933 in the Town of Roosevelt, to the late Walter Sr. and Mary (Moskiewicz) Sciezor.

Casey Blume
(1980-2006)
Casey Lee Blume, 25, Colby, died Sunday, June 4 in Abbotsford. Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 7 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Colby, with Father John Malik officiating. Burial was at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Colby. Pallbearers were Alan and Andrew Hamus, Dave Hennes, John Block, Leon Downing and Keith Jecevicus.
Maurina/Community Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
Casey Blume was born October 29, 1980 in Marshfield to Robert and Ruth (Kaiser) Blume. He graduated from Colby High School. He was a meat manager at Kramer’s County Market in Abbotsford.

Vernon Kellnhofer Sr.
(1947-2006)
Former Medford resident Vernon L. Kellnhofer Sr., 58, Stevens Point, died Thursday, June 1 at his home while under hospice care. Funeral services were held Monday, June 5 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Medford with Father Gerard Willger and Deacon Joe Stefancin officiating. Burial was Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery in Medford. Pallbearers were Jody and Jeff Kellnhofer, Jim Grube, Laura Hayden, Ted Rau and Brian Schmeiser.

Darrell Miskowic

Darrell J. Miskowic, 65, New Castle, Del., died Sunday, May 28 at his home. Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 6 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Medford, with Father Gerard Willger and Deacon Joe Stefancin officiating. Burial was at Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery in Medford.

Edward Sigmund, 83, Wisconsin Dells, died Tuesday, May 30 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Elroy. A memorial service was held Saturday, June 3 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Briggsville, with Father James Murphy officiating. Military rites were conducted by the Carl E. Grabman American Legion Post No. 329 of Briggsville.

Lillian Story, 92, Hannibal area resident, died Wednesday, May 31 at Memorial Health Center in Medford. Funeral services were held Monday, June 5 at the Gilman Funeral Home. Interment was at the Eastside Cemetery in Stanley.

Thomas L. Unrau, 58, Medford, died Sunday, Dec. 25 at Memorial Nursing Home in Medford. Graveside committal will be held on Saturday, June 10 at 10 a.m. at Medford Evergreen Cemetery, with Deacon Joe Stefancin, of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Medford, officiating.

Former Medford resident Walter Emmett Best, 85, Fort Dodge, Iowa, died Friday, May 26 at Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 8 at 10 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Medford.

Florence Magdeline Stauber, 91, Medford, died Friday, May 26 at Memorial Health Center in Medford. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, May 31 at Dallmann-Kniewel Funeral Home in Rib Lake, with Lynn Paul officiating. Interment was at Mount Olive Cemetery in Westboro.

Arthur Steinman
(1926-2006)
Arthur “Art,” “Art the Bobber,” Peche Steinman, 79, Town of Greenwood, died Friday, May 26 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield. Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 30 at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church in the Town of Greenwood, with Rev. Carl Busse officiating. Interment was at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery with full military honors conducted by Lehman-Clendenning American Legion Post No. 274. Pallbearers were Dennis Steinman, Danny Steinman, Fred Schultz, Bernie Schultz, LeRoy Wilhelms, Rob Edelburg, Ken Steinman and Don Steinman.

Former Medford resident Alta Marie Tellier, 92, Ladysmith, died Thursday, March 16 at her daughter’s home in Ladysmith. A graveside committal service will be held on Saturday, June 3 at 11 a.m. at Medford Evergreen Cemetery, with Lay Minister Mary Joe Laabs of The United Church Of Christ in Medford officiating.

Former Withee resident Edmund W. Tytor, 87, Medford, died Thursday, May 25 at Clark County Health Care Center in Owen. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, June 3 at 11 a.m. at Maplehurst Cemetery in Withee, with full military rites conducted by Lublin American Legion Post No. 547 and Medford Veterans of Foreign Wars.
