Chelsea Rose Bruce, 4, Thorp, died Sunday, March 12 at Our Lady of Victory Hospital in Stanley, due to an accidental drowning. Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 15 at Nazareth Lutheran Church in Withee, with Reverend Bryan Anderson officiating. Burial was at the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Ty Umback, Royce Dotson, Bo Bruce and Jeff Juzwak.
Maurina Community Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.

Virginia Brahmer
Former Medford resident Virginia (Klemm) Brahmer, died Sunday, March 5 at Lakeside, Ariz.

Lawrence Clausen
(1922-2006)
Lawrence H. Clausen, 83, Eveleth, Minn., died Friday, March 3 at his home. Funeral services were held Monday, March 6 at United in Christ Lutheran Church in Eveleth, with Pastor Gary Terrio officiating. Interment was at Eveleth Cemetery.

Richard Courchaine
(1922-2006)
Richard “Dick” Peter Courchaine, 84, of Beulah, Wyo., died Tuesday, Feb. 21 at Fort Meade VA Medical Facility near Sturgis, S.D.

Helen Ensslin
(1913-2006)
Former Rib Lake resident Helen Mary Ensslin, 92, Rhinelander, died Tuesday, Feb. 28 at Josephine Haus in Rhinelander. Funeral services were held Friday, March 3 at St. Matthias Episcopal Church in Waukesha, with Father Thomas Barnett officiating. Interment was at Highland Memorial Park in New Berlin. Pallbearers were Shawn Flynn, Dan Patredge, Eric and Greg Holm and Joe and Jim Bartos.
Dallmann-Kniewel Funeral Homes of Medford and Rib Lake assisted the family with arrangements.

Martha Koch
(1927-2006)
Former Colby resident Martha Koch, 79, Holcombe, died Thursday, March 2 at Cornell Area Care Center. A memorial service was held Monday, March 6 at First United Church of Christ in Colby, with Reverend Kenneth A. Dix officiating. Burial was at Colby Memorial Cemetery.
Maurina/Community Funeral Homes of Colby assisted the family with arrangements.

Alice Beck
(1926-2006)
Alice Marie Beck, 79, Abbotsford, died Tuesday, Feb. 28 at her home while under hospice care. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 4 at noon at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Colby, with Monsignor John Malik officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in the Town of Colby. Pallbearers will be Larry and Bob Fierke, James Kleparski, Albert T. Beck II, Nick Kleparski, and Richard Karlcik.
Visitation will be on Friday, March 3 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Maurina/Community Funeral in Abbotsford. There will be a PCCW rosary service at 4:30 p.m. and a parish rosary service at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Annabelle Corl
(1921-2006)
Annabelle Corl, 84, Eckert, Colo., died Sunday, Feb. 26 at her home. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 2 at 11 a.m. at the Church of the Nazarene in Cedaredge, Colo.
Mesa View Mortuary-Cemetery in Delta, Colo. assisted the family with arrangements.

Andrew Finnila
(1956-2006)
Andrew “Andy” John Finnila, 49, of Withee, died Thursday, Feb. 23 at Clark County Health Care Center in Owen, from kidney failure. No funeral services will be held.
The Cremation Society of Wisconsin is handling the cremation, per Andy’s request.
Andrew Finnila was born March 23, 1956 in Stanley to the late Arvi and Grace (Blum) Finnila.

Larry Hungsberg
(1942-2006)
Larry Reuben Hungsberg, 63, Madison, died Sunday, Feb. 26, after a battle with cancer. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 2 at 2 p.m. at Gunderson East Funeral Home in Madison. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park.

George Kadonsky Sr.
(1915-2006)
George F. Kadonsky Sr., 90, Abbotsford, died Saturday, Feb. 25 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield. Funeral services were held on Monday, Feb. 27 at Maurina Funeral Home in Abbotsford, with Father Paul Gitter officiating. Burial was at Abbotsford Public Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jerry Rankl, Gordon Anderson, Jim Heindl, Guy Rankl, Jerry Schultz, Jim Bragg and David Lueddecke.

Eldred Marcott
(1917-2006)
Eldred E. Marcott, 88, Abbotsford, died Friday, Feb. 24 at Inncare in Abbotsford. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, Feb. 28 at Maurina Funeral Home in Abbotsford. Burial was at Dorchester Memorial Cemetery.

Regina Querin
(1929-2006)
Regina T. Querin, 76, Medford, died Wednesday, Feb. 22 at her home. Funeral services were held on Saturday, Feb. 25 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Medford, with Father Gerard Willger officiating. Burial was at Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery in Medford. Pallbearers were David, Dan and Gary Kapfhamer, Bill and Ron Hayden and Dale Meyer.
Hemer Funeral Service of Medford assisted the family with arrangements.

Herman Schubert
(1941-2006)
Herman G. Schubert, 64, Medford, died Friday, Feb. 24 at his home. A Jehovah’s Witness service was held on Monday, Feb. 27 at Hemer Funeral Home in Medford, with Wayne Lindberg officiating. A Roman Catholic service was held on Tuesday, Feb. 28 at Hemer Funeral Home, with Father Gerard Willger officiating. His remains will be cremated. Honorary pallbearers were his grandchildren, Brittany Schubert, Riley Netzer, Ashley Hoffman, Jacob, James and Aleesha Helgeson, Colton, Trevor and Lexi Niewolny, and great-granddaughter, Allisen Koplien.

Katherine Adams
1924-2006
Katherine “Kay” F. Adams, 82, Medford, died Friday, July 28 at Memorial Nursing Home in Medford. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Aug. 1 at Hemer Funeral Home in Medford, with Pastor Grant Brown officiating. Cremainal inurnment will be at Mount Olive Cemetery in Westboro at a later date.
