Burial was on July 17 at Stetsonville Catholic Cemetery with Deacon Joseph Stefancin officiating.

James “Jim” Edward Marschke, 56, Rib Lake, died Saturday, July 15 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield. Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 19 at the Rib Lake Ice Age Pavilion, with his nephew Cole Marschke officiating. Full military honors were conducted by Lehman-Clendenning American Legion Post No. 274 of Rib Lake. Pallbearers were John, Gary, Arthur John, Bryan, Gary N. and Robert Marschke.

Eleanor M. Scimeca, 84, Medford, died Thursday, July 13 at Deer View Meadows Assisted Living in Medford, while under hospice care. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, July 29 at 11 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Medford, with Father Gerard Willger officiating. Cremainal interment will be at Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery in Medford.
No visitation will be held.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, July 15 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Curtiss, with Reverend Curt Rohland officiating. Burial was at Pine Hill Cemetery in Curtiss with full military rites conducted by Colby VFW Post 2227. Pallbearers were Jeremy, Joel, Caleb and Jacob Strassburger, Justin Pinter and Jesse Cypher.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 14 at 10:30 a.m. at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Rib Lake, with Father Ron Kowalski and Deacon Paul Ochodnicky officiating. Interment will be at Lakeview Cemetery in Rib Lake.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 13 at Dallmann-Kniewel Funeral Home in Rib Lake from 4 to 7 p.m., with a parish prayer service and rosary at 7 p.m., and at the church on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 13 at 11 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Church in Loyal. Visitation will be held one hour before church services. Father Bernard Rascke and Father Roman Kaiser will officiate. St. Anthony’s choir will provide music. Burial service will be private at a later date.
