Harvey Draeger Jr., 52, Medford, died Saturday, July 1 at Cancer Care Hospital in Seattle, Wash. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 7 at 11 a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Medford, with Pastor Pete Warmanen officiating.
Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
Marjery Lange

Marjery “Marge” H. Lange, 80, Medford, died Tuesday, July 4 at her home while under hospice care. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 8 at 11 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Medford, with Father Gerard Willger and Deacon Joe Stefancin officiating. Burial will be at Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery in Medford. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Brock, Collin and Connor Baumann, Nick and Kolton Klemm, and Chris, Nate, Clay, Mark and Jonathon Lange.
Visitation will be held at Hemer Funeral Home in Medford on Friday, July 7 from 5 to 7 p.m., with a rosary service at 6 p.m.
Charles O’Toole

Charles T. O’Toole, 54, Stetsonville, died Saturday, July 1 at his home under the care of his wife following a lengthy illness. Hope Hospice assisted the family in the final month.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 12 at noon at Holy Rosary Church in Medford, with Father Gerard Willger and Deacon Joe Stefancin officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 10:30 until the time of the Mass on Wednesday. A luncheon will follow, with graveside services at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Little Black at 4 p.m. that same day. Dallmann-Kniewel Funeral Homes of Medford and Rib Lake assisted the family with arrangements.

Medford native Elaine M. Krantz, 86, Oconomowoc, died Wednesday, June 21 at Angles Grace Hospital in Oconomowoc. Funeral services were held Monday, June 26 at Pagenkopf Funeral Home in Oconomowoc. Burial was at St. Jerome Cemetery in Oconomowoc.
Father Bernard Meyer
1920-2006
Father Bernard A. Meyer, 85, San Antonio, Texas, died Saturday, June 17 at the Marianist Residence in San Antonio. Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 21 at San Antonio Holy Rosary Church where he had been a pastor for many years. Burial was at Marianist Cemetery in San Antonio.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 1 at 2:30 p.m. at Holy Rosary Church in Medford, with Father Gerard Willger officiating.

Angeline Marie Nichols, 85, Gilman, died Monday, June 26 at Clark County Health Care Center in Owen. Funeral services were held on Thursday, June 29 at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Gilman, with Father John Long officiating. Burial was at Meadowbrook Cemetery in Gilman.

Edna Schwarz, 93, Medford, died Wednesday, June 21, at Memorial Nursing Home in Medford where she had resided the past four years. Funeral services were held Saturday, June 24 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Medford, with Rev. Pete Warmanen officiating. Burial was at Medford Evergreen Cemetery. Pallbearers were Arnee Becker, Phil Metz, and Bob, Scott, Jim and Lee Scheithauer.

Marilyn G. Sinette, 60, Holcombe, died Tuesday, June 27 at Weyauwega Health Care Center. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 1 at 11 a.m. at Borton Funeral Home in Cornell, with Rev. James Brandli officiating. Burial will be at Flambeau Cemetery in rural Holcombe.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, June 30 from 4 to 7 p.m., and on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
John Witek

John J. Witek, 94, Lublin, died Thursday, June 22 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield. Funeral services were held Saturday, June 24 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Lublin, with Father John Long officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were his great-grandchildren, Sherri, Craig and Derek Haas, Krista, Melissa and Ryan Danczak, and Justin and Jamie Makeeff. Honorary pallbearers were his great-granddaughters Shelly Verbout, Nicole, Brittany and Tiffany Danczak, and Jessica Makeeff.

Dorie Brunner
(1926-2006)
Dorie May Brunner, age 80, of Rice Lake, Wisconsin, died Friday, June 16, 2006 at the Rice Lake Convalescent Nursing Home.
Doris was born on March 29, 1926 to William and Clara (Ruesch) Brunner in Medford, Wisconsin where she grew up and received her education. After her graduation from Medford High School n 1944, Doris went to UW-La Crosse and received a Bachelor of Science degree in 1948 in physical education and recreation. Doris then taught in various places in California and Wisconsin and then moved to Germany where she supervised the operation of a U.S. Service Club during the Cold War. Upon her return to the United States, Doris became the first woman to canoe the entire length of the Mississippi River and as the completion of the trip at the mouth of the river at New Orleans, she was presented with the key to the city of New Orleans.

Edward Adolph Judycki, 91, Withee, died Tuesday, June 13 at Clark County Health Care Center in Owen. Funeral services were held Thursday, June 15 at St. Mary’s Polish National Catholic Church in Lublin, with Father Marion Talaga officiating. Burial was at St. Mary’s Polish National Catholic Cemetery.

Former Town of Browning resident Wilfred “Bill” J. Loertscher, 92, Owen, died Monday, June 19 at Clark County Health Care Center in Owen where he had resided the past 2 1/2 years. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 22 at noon at Peace United Church of Christ in Dorchester, with Rev. Robert L. Everhard officiating. Burial will be at Medford Evergreen Cemetery II. Pallbearers are Leonard, Ken and Allyn Loertscher, Bryan Paur, Gordy Hirsch and Mark Heinz.
