Gerald "Jerry" F. Paul, 69, Medford, died Monday, Feb. 5 at Clark County Health Care Center in Owen, where he had resided the past seven months. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 10 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Medford, with Father Gerard Willger and Deacon Joe Stefancin officiating. Burial will be at Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery in Medford where there will be graveside military rites performed by the Medford VFW military honors team.

Edna Suits
1919-2007
Edna L. Suits, 88, Marshfield, died Monday, Jan 29 at the House of Dove in Marshfield. Funeral services were held Friday, Feb. 2 at Wesley United Methodist Church in Marshfield, with Rev. R. Egerer officiating. A private burial will be held at the King Military Cemetery in King.

Kenneth Truax
1923-2007
Kenneth Truax, age 83, of 505 Kapsy Drive, Gilman, Wis., passed away peacefully on Monday, Feb. 5, 2007 at his home with his family by his side. Services will be held on Friday, February 9, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Hannibal New Hope Presbyterian Church, Hannibal, Wis., with Pastor Bradley Carloss officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date. Friends and family may call Thursday evening from 4-8 p.m. at the Gilman Funeral Home. The family requests that memorials be given to the Hope Hospice and Palliative Care, 657 McComb Ave., Rib Lake, Wis., 54470. Plombon Funeral Service is assisting the family with arrangements.

Katherine Tyznik
1928-2007
Katherine Florence Tyznik, 79, Lublin, died Monday, Jan. 29 at Memorial Nursing Home in Medford, while under hospice and palliative care. Funeral services were held Friday, Feb. 2 at the Thorp Funeral Home Chapel in Thorp, with Pastor Randy Pospisil officiating. Burial was at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner.

Ronald Gengler
1945-2007
Ronald H. Gengler, 61, Medford, died Sunday, March 25 at his home under the loving care of his family and Hope Hospice. Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 28 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Whittlesey, with Rev. Randal Jeppesen officiating. Burial was at Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery in Whittlesey. Honorary pallbearers were Les Poehler and Dennis Potocnik. Active pallbearers were Matt Tacke, Al Frohling, Gary Piller, Herb Messman, Dan Johnson and Josh Westphal.
Hemer Funeral Service of Medford assisted the family with arrangements.

Vivien Ireland
1902-2007
Former Ogema resident Vivien Ireland, 104, Westboro, died Wednesday, March 21 at Memorial Nursing Home in Medford where she had resided since June 2006. Funeral services were held Saturday, March 24 at Woodland Community Church in Westboro, with Pastor Grant Brown officiating. Interment was at Garden of Memories in the Town of Hill. Pallbearers were John Ireland, Jeff Ireland, Dick Hintz, Aaron Hintz, Eric Stolhammer, Bob McCune, Bob Gibbons and Jim Olson.
Dallmann-Kniewel Funeral Homes of Medford and Rib Lake assisted the family with arrangements.

Verna Schinker
1922-2007
Verna C. Schinker, 84, Lake Geneva, died Sunday, March 25 at her home. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 20 at 11 a.m. at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Geneva, with Pastors Mary Ann and Mark Moller-Gunderson officiating. Burial will be at Roselawn Memory Gardens Cemetery in the Town of Delavan.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 29 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Steinke Funeral Home in Lake Geneva, and at the church on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.

Dorothy Tlusty
1912-2007
Former Medford resident Dorothy Evelyn Tlusty, 94, Rib Lake, died Wednesday, March 21 at the Golden Living Center in Rib Lake. Funeral services were held Saturday, March 24 at the United Methodist Church in Rib Lake, with Pastor Terry Dorenbush officiating. Interment was at Lakeview Cemetery in Rib Lake, with full military honors conducted by the Lehman-Clendenning American Legion Post No. 274 of Rib Lake. Pallbearers were Jim Tlusty Jr., Pat Tlusty, Tyler Lemke, Steve Fliehs, Dave Tlusty and Tom Tlusty.
Dallmann-Kniewel Funeral Homes of Medford and Rib Lake assisted the family with arrangements.

Frances Zuleger
1919-2007
Frances B. Zuleger, 87, Medford, died Thursday, March 22 at Memorial Nursing Home in Medford, where she had resided the past six years. Funeral services were held Monday, March 26 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Whittlesey, with Rev. Randal Jeppesen officiating. Burial was at Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery in Whittlesey. Pallbearers were her grandchildren, Julie Klemm, Jill Dassow, Jenni Tamblingson, Keith and Michael Purdy, and Diane, Natt and Chris Zuleger.
Hemer Funeral Service of Medford assisted the family with arrangements.

Ella Bruner
1924-2007
Ella Bruner, 83, Ogema, died Thursday, March 15 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. Services will be held at a later date.

Stanley Czerwinski
1927-2007
Stanley Czerwinski, Age 79, formerly of W15137 Elm Drive, Lublin, Wis., passed away on Sunday, March 18, 2007 at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King, Wis. Services will be held on Thursday, March 22, 2007 at 11 a.m. at the Gilman Funeral Home, with Pastor James Leschensky officiating. Burial will follow in the Holy Trinity Cemetery, Conrath, Wis. Friends and family may call Wednesday evening from 4-8 p.m. at the Gilman Funeral Home and one hour prior to service time on Thursday.
Plombon Funeral Service is assisting the family with arrangements.

Betty Duebner
Former Medford resident Betty Duebner, Waukesha, died Tuesday, March 13 at Franciscan Woods Health Facility in Brookfield. No services will be held. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Catherine Gengler
1917-2007
Catherine "Kate" E. Gengler, 89, Medford, died Tuesday, March 20 at Memorial Nursing Home in Medford where she had resided the past 1 1/2 years. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 24 at 11 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Medford, with Father Gerard Willger and Deacon Joseph Stefancin officiating. Burial will be at Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery in Medford. Pallbearers are her grandsons, Patrick Gengler, Cory Niggemann, Brian and Clayton Denzine, and Kristopher and Ryan Gengler.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 23 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Hemer Funeral Home in Medford, with a 7:30 p.m. rosary service, and at the funeral home on Saturday from 9 to 10:45 a.m.

Andrew Kempen
Andrew Eugene Kempen, infant son of Doug and Alison (Flamme) Kempen, Town of Kennan, died Monday, March 19 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 23 at 11 a.m. at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Catawba, with Deacon James Celba officiating. Interment will be in the Kennan Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
Heindl Funeral Home of Phillips assisted the family with arrangements.

Joseph Molczan
1918-2007
Joseph Molczan, 88, Hayward, died Tuesday, March 6 at his home. At Joe's request, there will be no funeral service. Interment will be at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery near Spooner at a later date.
Anderson-Nathan-Koerpel Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
