Joyce E. (Mrs. Robert) Olson
Joyce E. (Mrs. Robert) Olson, 53, of W8206 E. 16th Rd., Coleman died Saturday August 5, 2000 at Bay Area Medical Center, Marinette following a brief illness. The daughter of the late Louis and Mary Smithtana Lentz was born March 24, 1947 in Marinette. Joyce was a 1965 graduate of Coleman High School and was married to Robert Olson on May 18, 1968 at the former St. John Catholic Church, Coleman. She was employed at Fort James Corp. in Green Bay and prior to that worked for Coleman Products in Coleman. Joyce was a member of Ss. Francis & Wenceslaus Church, Coleman. Surviving are her husband, Robert Olson; one daugher, Melissa Brian Olson of Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Rachel and Cody; seven sisters, Anna Ken Engebretsen of Suamico, Shirley Red Seymour of Michigan, LaVerne Bill Webber of Michigan, Carol Stark of Pound, Mary Lou Lentz of Green Bay, Karlene Russell Martens of Pound and Karen Jerry Korpi of Idaho; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Mary Lentz. Friends called at Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Coleman; a wake service was held. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Ss. Francis & Wenceslaus Church, Coleman with Rev. John Hephner officioating. Burial in St. John Catholic Cemetery, Coleman.

Clarence Kersine
Clarence Kersine, 79, a resident of the Northridge Medical and Rehabilitation Center, 1445 N. 7th St., Manitowoc, died Friday June 16, 2000 at the Aurora Medical Center in Two Rivers. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday June 20, 2000 at the Lambert Funeral Home in Mishicot with the Rev. Karen Doty officiating. Burial took place in the Mishicot Public Cemetery. Clarence was born January 4, 1921 in Oconto County to the late August and Ida Kersine. Mr. Kersine served in the United States Army from 1942 to 1945. He was employed by the Mirro Company for many years, and has been a Mishicot resident since 1964. Clarence was an avid card player and enjoyed spending time with his friends. He is survived by many friends, including his special friends La-Verne Kliment of Coleman, Melvin and Joann Kliment of Mishicot, Allen Kliment of Mishicot, Douglas Kliment of Abbotsford, Randy Kliment of Sheboygan, and Jim and Marlene Froelich of Manitowoc. He was also preceded in death by several sisters and a brother. He formerly lived on Huebscher and Moody rds., Brookside, WI.

Zilda M. VanLanen
Zilda M. VanLanen, 86, formerly of Abrams, died Friday, July 28, 2000 at the Riverside Health and Rehab Center, Oconto. The former Zilda M. LaCount was born July 19, 1914 in Green Bay to the late Abe and Julia Smits LaCount. She married John Hock, Jr. on November 26, 1932 and he preceded her in death in 1942. She then married Albert VanLanen on October 30, 1948 and he preceded her in death in 1998. Zilda worked as a cook for over twenty years at the Oneida Golf and Riding Club and then later at K-Mart. She was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church of Abrams. Zilda will be remembered as a great cook and she loved to spend time with her grand and great-grandchildren. Survivors include her daughter, Beverly and Richard Delfosse, Abrams; one son, Donald and Mary Jane Hock, Branch; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; one stepson, Alvin and Ruth VanLanen, Seymour; 11 stepgrandchildren; one sister, Julia Paul Hill, Green Bay; one brother, Herbert Violet LaCount, Howard; and a special stepdaughter-in-law, Percy and Fred Knaub, Lakewood. She was preceded in death by her husbands, John and Albert; mother and father; two sisters and one brother. The family received friends at the Pfotenhauer Funeral Home West, 1145 Cardinal Lane, Howard, on Sunday, July 30, 2000 from 3 to 6 p.m. Funeral service was 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with Fr. Gerald Prusakowski, OFM, officiating. Burial in St. John the Baptist Church Cemetery, Howard. Andrew J. Pfotenhauer, Funeral Director.

Marion F. Telford
Marion F. Telford, 90, of Milwaukee, died July 30, 2000. She was born November 23, 1909 in Oconto Falls to Robert and Julia nee McKeever. Survivors include one sister, Margaret the late Arnold Ehlinger; other relatives and friends. Funeral Mass will be held Thursday August 3, 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, 9520 W. Forest Home. Interment Friday 2 p.m. at Oconto Catholic Cemetery, Oconto, WI. Visitation Thursday ONLY 10 a.m. until time of services at the church.

Ida E. Fusselman (Mrs. Oren)
Ida E. Fusselman (Mrs. Oren), 94, Oconto, died Sunday July 30, 2000 at Riverside Health & Rehabilitation Center, Oconto. She was born to the late George and Amelia Olsen Belongia August 11, 1905 in Oconto. Ida graduated from St. Peter's School and went on to graduate from Oconto High School. She was a life long member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Oconto. Ida was employed at Fulton Electric Company in Oconto for many years. During World War II she worked for Raymor Electric Company in Milwaukee where she met Oren Fusselman whom she married August 2, 1947. They returned to Oconto and Ida was employed in the office of The Bond Pickle Company for 25 years. After retiring Ida worked at Damkoehler Chemical Company for five years. She was preceded in death by her husband Oren in 1981. Ida served on the St. Peter's Church council for many years and was instrumental in placing St. Peter's Church on the National Registry of Historical Places. She was also a member of St. Anne's Society. Surviving are three sisters, Mabel McTavish, Oconto; Agnes Nerenhausen, Oconto; Josephine Herald, Oconto; and many nieces and nephews. Ida was preceded in death by four brothers, Albert, Leonard, Eugene, and Joseph Belongia; six sisters, Ellen Tapa, Minnie McDougal, Alice Davis, Mildred LeComte, Mary Killinger, and Marguerite Murphy. Friends called at the Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Oconto, Monday, July 31, 2000. The Funeral Mass was held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Trinity Parish St. Joseph's site, Oconto. Interment at Oconto Catholic Cemetery

Mrs. Edward Shirley Windorff
Mrs. Edward Shirley Windorff, 66, Wabeno, formerly of Green Bay, died Sunday morning, July 30, 2000, with her family at her side after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on August 1, 1933, in Rhinelander to Frances Schmid and the late Claude Babino. On June 28, 1952, she married Edward Windorff in Rhinelander. Since retirement, she and Edward have resided in Wabeno and Sierra Vista, AZ. Shirley's greatest joy in life was enjoying her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Edward; three children and their spouses, Michael and Darla Windorff, Mitchell and Kathy Windorff, and Tonia and Dennis Kielpikowski, all of Green Bay; seven grandchildren; her mother, Frances Babino, Rhinelander; two brothers, Thomas Babino, Sheboygan, and James Babino, Eau Claire; two sisters-in-law, Betty Combs and Rose (Pat) Gilley; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Claude Babino; two infant sisters, Mary Ellen and Kay Frances; a daughter-in-law, Rose Windorff; a granddaughter, Tara Windorff, and one niece, Bonnie Babino. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Wednesday at Lyndahl Funeral Home, Lombardi Ave. at Ridge Rd., Green Bay where a Service of Remembrance will be held at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Willard Van De Loo officiating. Inurnment will take place in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial has been established.

Lorraine Anne Viegut
Lorraine Anne Viegut, 77, of Townsend, died Tuesday, July 25, 2000 at Community memorial Hospital, Oconto Falls, WI. Lorraine was born on November 28, 1922 in Edgar, WI, the daughter of the late Frank and Anna Hall Lemmer. On January 10, 1945 she married Marvin Emil Viegut. She was a life long resident of Waukesha until their retirement in 1986. She was a member of St. Mary of The Lakes Catholic Church, Lakewood, where she belonged to the Rosary Society and the church choir. Lorraine will be sadly missed by her loving husband, Marvin Emil Viegut, Townsend; son, John Linda Viegut, Eagle; daughters Mary David Scarce, Waukesha; Dorothy Larry Hanson, Sussex; Dawn Art Mueller, Watertown, MN; sisters, Mary Steiber, Wausau; Dorothy Mauerer, Hayward; Theresa Alex Szymanski, Marathon; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, and one furry friend, Spirit. She was preceded by her parents and 12 brothers and sisters. Visitation was on Thursday, July 27 from 5-8 p.m. at St. Mary of The Lakes Catholic Church, Lakewood, with prayer service and rosary at 7. Visitation continued on Friday at 10 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11 with Father Richard Ver Bust officiating. Interment at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Suminski Funeral Home, Wabeno assisted the family with arrangements.

Anne T. (Mrs. Ralph) Vannaman
Anne T. (Mrs. Ralph) Vannaman, 68, of 2869 Sot Road, Abrams, WI died unexpectedly early Thursday morning, July 27, 2000 while at home. The daughter of the late William and Elsie Dumke Patz was born October 22, 1931 at Beaver, WI. Anne was a 1949 graduate of Coleman High School. She met her lifetime love, Ralph Vannaman, while in college in California. They were married on September 7, 1957 at the First Baptist Church, Pound, WI. The couple lived in Southern California until 1961, then moved to Pound, WI until February 1964. They raised their family in Green Bay until they moved to Abrams in 1971. Anne was a traditional mother, staying home to raise her children. She loved traveling with and spending time with her husband. She also enjoyed art, animals, gardening and blueberry picking. She adored her grandchildren. Anne was an active member of First Baptist Church and her love for the Lord showed in her kind words and actions throughout her life. Surviving are her husband, Ralph, Sr.; six children, Ralph Vannaman, Jr. Sonny, of Menominee, MI; Dorotha Anne Vannaman, of N. Chicago, IL; Deborah Rich Wood, of Lena; Anne Marie John Vollrath, of Appleton; Michael Zulay Vannaman, of Oklahoma City, OK; Susan Vannaman, of Colorado Springs, CO; and daughter-in-law, Julie Vannaman, of Oconto Falls, WI; 10 grandchildren, one great-granddaughter; four brothers, Wallace Joan Patz, of Mountain Home, AR; Earl Joyce Patz, of Strawberry Valley, CA; Willie Barb Patz, of Neenah, WI; and Donald Patz, of Lake Charles, LA; four sisters, Linda Ted Burkhart, of Carlsbad, NM; Rita Patz, of Greenville, SC; Ada Kostreva, of Libertyville, IL; Kaye Dan Beard, of Cape Girardeau, MO; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Elsie Patz, and one brother, Kenny Patz. Friends called at the First Baptist Church, Pound from 9 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 11 a.m. Monday, July 31, 2000. Rev. James Frisby officiated with burial in the First Baptist Cemetery, Pound. Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Coleman assisted the family with arrangements.
