Jessica Sue “Smidge” “Jess” Ripp, 43, Town of Chelsea, died Thursday, July 5 at Memorial Health Center in Medford. Funeral services were Wednesday, July 11 at the Rib Lake Ice Age Pavilion with Pastor John Morrow officiating. Burial was in Hillside Cemetery in Ogema. Pallbearers were David, Phillip, John, Mike, Kevin, Greg, Steven and Ryan Carter.
Dallmann-Kniewel Funeral Homes of Medford and Rib Lake assisted the family with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the family.

Jacob Schiszik
2007
Baby boy Jacob Richard Schiszik, the son of Kristian and Marsha (Dassow) Schiszik of Fall Creek, was stillborn Monday, July 2 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire. A family graveside service was held Wednesday, July 11 at Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery in Whittlesey with Rev. Randal Jeppesen officiating.
Hemer Funeral Service of Medford assisted the family.

Helen Sommers
Helen M. Sommers, 82, Gilman, died Tuesday, July 3 at Zastrow Care Center in Gilman. A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 14 at 10 a.m. at First Congregational United Church of Christ in Park Falls, with Pastor Mary Jo Laabs officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Forest Home Cemetery in Fifield.
Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
Plombon Funeral Service assisted the family with arrangements.

Lester Bowen
1916-2007
Lester J. Bowen, 91, Curtiss, died Saturday, June 30 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 6 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Curtiss, with Rev. Kris Bjerke-Ulliman officiating. Burial will be at Pine Hill Cemetery. Active pallbearers are Marvin Saari, Ron Frohling, Richard Lund, Aaron Sperduto, Jeff Bowen and John Wantlin. Honorary pallbearers are Richard and Audrey Decker, Duane Radsek, Carl Jakel, Marty Myre, Emil Untiedt and Hilarion Michlig. Flower girls are Linda Broeske, Barb Wachsmuth, Pattie Shook, Robin Espino and Sue Gray.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 5 from 2 to 8 p.m. at Maurina Funeral Home in Abbotsford, and at the church on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
A memorial will be established at a later date.

Raymond Goerg
Raymond W. Goerg, 84, Milwaukee, died Sunday, July 1. A mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, July 6 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Divine Providence-St. Casimir’s Site in Milwaukee. Entombment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday, July 5 from 5 to 7 p.m., and Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
Leszczynski-Larsen Brothers Church and Chapel of West Allis assisted the family with arrangements.

Lewis Graf
1931-2007
Lewis H. Graf, 76, Rockford, Ill., died Tuesday, June 26 at his home following a long illness. Funeral services were held Monday, July 2 at Dallmann-Kniewel Funeral Home in Rib Lake, with Rev. Dennis Govier officiating. Interment was at Lakeview Cemetery in Rib Lake. Pallbearers were Matt Woebler, Pete Peterson, Scott Knoff, Donald Hederer, Ronald Habermeyer and Lyle Johnson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family.

Lynnette Gustafson
1941-2007
Lynnette Lenore Gustafson, 65, Ogema, died Friday, June 29 at her home. Funeral services were held Monday, July 2 at Ogema Baptist Church, with Pastor Donald Rhody and Pastor Richard Wohler officiating. Interment was at Hillside Cemetery in Ogema. Her grandchildren served as pallbearers.
Heindl Funeral Home of Prentice assisted the family with arrangements.

Elizabeth Koenig
1950-2007
Elizabeth A. Koenig, 57, Manitowoc, died Friday, June 29 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center in Manitowoc. Memorial services were held Sunday, July 1 at Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home in Manitowoc, lead by her brother, Peter Schreiner. A graveside service will be held at Lakeview Cemetery in Rib Lake on Saturday, July 7 at 1 p.m.

Robert Konieczki
1925-2007
Robert "Bob" S. Konieczki, 82, Medford, died Sunday, July 1 while under hospice care at Memorial Nursing Home in Medford, where he had resided the past four months. Per his request there will be no services.
Hemer Funeral Service of Medford assisted the family with arrangements.

Warren Block
1947-2007
Warren G. Block, 59, Town of Deer Creek, died Saturday, June 23 at his residence surrounded by his loving family and Hope Hospice. Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 27 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Stetsonville, with Father Frederick Brost and Co-Celebrant Father Dennis Meulemans officiating. Burial was at Dorchester Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers were Boone Metz, Randy Noland, Ed and Gerald Brecke, Don Zuleger, Frank Bednarek, Dennis Blasel and Wally McKee.
Hemer Funeral Service of Medford assisted the family with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials that will be designated at a later date in his name.

Mitchell Erickson
1987-2007
Mitchell Robert Erickson, 21, Dorchester, died Sunday, June 24 at his home in the Town of Holton. Memorial services were held Wednesday, June 27 at Maurina Funeral Home in Abbotsford, with Michael Helfert officiating. Inurnment was at St. Thomas Catholic Cemetery in Milan.

Merlin Ludwig
1931-2007
Merlin Ludwig, 75, Medford, died Sunday, June 24 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 28 at St. Louis Catholic Church in Dorchester, with Father Darell Mitchell officiating. Inurnment will be in Dorchester Memorial Cemetery. Military rites will be performed by the Stetsonville American Legion Post No. 519.
Maurina/Community Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.

Jane Mattox
1956-2007
Jane A. Mattox, 51, Athens, died Sunday, June 24 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 28 at 1 p.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Athens, with Rev. Charles Hiebl officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Athens.
Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home of Athens assisted the family with arrangements.

James Dums
1939-2007
James Gordon Dums, 68, Town of Greenwood, died Sunday, June 17 at the Clark County Health Care Center in Owen. A mass of christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday morning at 11 a.m. at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, with Father Bernie Byrne officiating. Interment, with full military honors conducted by the Lehmann-Clendenning American Legion Post No. 274 of Rib Lake, will take place at St. Ann's Cemetery in the Town of Greenwood.
Dallmann-Kniewel Funeral Homes of Medford and Rib Lake assisted the family with arrangements.
