Anton “Tony” Filipiak, 82, Gilman, died at his home on Tuesday, June 19. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 22 at 10:30 a.m. at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Gilman. Burial will be at the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be held Thursday, June 21 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Gilman Funeral Home with a parish vigil service at 7:30 p.m., and at the church on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
Plombon Funeral Services assisted the family with arrangements.

Quinette Sanders
2007
Quinette Alma Doris Sanders, stillborn infant daughter of Roger and Lynette (Pagel) Sanders, was born June 15 at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 21 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in the Town of Holway, with Rev. Kris Bjerke-Ulliman officiating. Burial will be in Our Saviors Lutheran Cemetery in the Town of Holway.
Maurina Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.

Louis Thums
1924-2007
Louis E. Thums, 83, Rib Lake, died Thursday, June 14 at Golden Living Center in Rib Lake where he had resided the past eight months. Funeral services were held Monday, June 18 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Rib Lake, with Father Bernard M. Byrne officiating. Burial was at St. Ann’s Cemetery in the Town of Greenwood with graveside military rites performed by American Legion Post No. 274 of Rib Lake. Pallbearers were Terri Pinter, Gene Rizzi, Jon Bube, Karl Sherfield and Jerome and Daniel Thums.
Hemer Funeral Service of Medford assisted the family with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Historic St. Ann’s or St. Ann’s Cemetery.

Elizabeth Fleischmann
1938-2007
Former Town of Little Black resident Elizabeth Fleischmann, 68, Stetsonville, died Saturday, July 28 at Clark County Health Care Center where she had resided the past week. Funeral services were held Monday, July 30 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Medford, with Father Gerard Willger officiating. Interment was at St. Mary's Cemetery in the Town of Little Black. Pallbearers were Winston "Jake" and Willard "Hank" Jochimsen, Luke Fleischmann, Les Clarkson, Chuck Metz and John Gallistel.
Hemer Funeral Service of Medford assisted the family with arrangements.

Mary Hoefs-Weiler
1950-2007
Former Town of Browning resident Mary E. Hoefs-Weiler, 56, Town of Halsey, Marathon County, died Saturday, July 28 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Tomahawk where she was taken by ambulance following an automobile accident. Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 31 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Medford, with Father Gerard Willger officiating. Interment was at Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery in Medford. Pallbearers were Keith Kegler, Brian Hoefs, Doug Berends, Brian Noland and Paul and Adam Leffel.
Hemer Funeral Service of Medford assisted the family with arrangements.

Rolland Walty
1921-2007
Former Rib Lake resident Rolland Deo Walty, 85, Benton, Ky., died Wednesday, July 4 at his home. Graveside services will be held Saturday, Aug. 4 at 11 a.m. at Lakeview Cemetery in Rib Lake.
Dallmann-Kniewel Funeral Homes of Medford and Rib Lake assisted the family with arrangements.

Magdalena Zagorski
1911-2007
Magdalena “Lena’ Mary Zagorski, 96, Withee, died Sunday, July 29 at Memorial Nursing Home in Medford, where she had lived the past 2 1/2 years. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Aug. 1 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Lublin, with Father John Long officiating. Burial was at the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were Stanley Zagorski, Benedict Zagorski, Richard Zagorski, Joseph Zagorski, Steven Zagorski and Alex Zagorski.
Thorp Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.

MaryAnn Zocher
1933-2007
MaryAnn Zocher, 74, Athens, died Friday, July 27 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Merrill. Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 31 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Athens, with Rev. Charles Hiebl officiating. Burial was at Calvary Cemetery in Athens.
Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home of Athens assisted the family with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in her name.

Thomas Boor
1946-2007
Thomas "Tom" J. Boor, 60, Stetsonville, died Thursday, July 19 at his home. Funeral services were held Monday, July 23 at Hemer Funeral Home in Medford.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials in his hame be made to the Gentle Hearts Shelter in Medford.

Rosalind Chubb
1921-2007
Rosalind L. Chubb, 86, Granton, died Wednesday, July 18 in the palliative care unit of St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield. Funeral services were held Monday, July 23 at Zion American Evangelical Lutheran Church in Granton, with Pastor Keith Lueneburg officiating. Pallbearers were Daniel, Eric and Ryan Kumm, Andrew Flor, Ryan Roehl and Ben Reigel.
Gesche Funeral Home of Neillsville assisted the family with arrangements.

Peter Gonzalez Jr.
1983-2007
Peter Gonzalez Jr., 23, Brandon, Miss., died Sunday, July 15 at Jackson, Miss., from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. A memorial service will be held Friday, July 27 at 11 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Medford, with Father Gerard Willger officiating. Military rites will be performed by the Medford Military Honors Team.
Visitation will be held Thursday, July 27 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Hemer Funeral Home in Medford, with a prayer vigil service at 7:45 p.m., and at the church on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.

Thomas Olson
1913-2007
Former Medford resident, Thomas "Tommy" H. Olson, 94, Austin, Texas, died Monday, July 2, in Austin. A memorial service will be held Thursday, Aug. 2 at 2 p.m. at Hemer Funeral Home in Medford, with Rev. David McBride of Medford Masonic Lodge No. 217 personnel, officiating. Interment of his cremated remains will take place at Medford Evergreen Cemetery II at a later date.
Visitation will be held at Hemer Funeral Home in Medford on Thursday from 1 p.m. until the time of the service.
The family requests memorials in his name to either the Alzheimer's Association of Rhinelander, or your favorite charity.

Donald Schreiber
1919-2007
Donald F. Schreiber, 88, Stoughton, died Monday, July 23 at Lakeview Hospital in Stillwater, Minn. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 28 at 11 a.m. at Skaalen Chapel, with Rev. James Koza officiating. Burial will be at Wheeler Prairie Cemetery in the Town of Dunkirk.
Visitation will be held Friday, July 27 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Olson-Holzhuter-Cress Funeral Home in Stoughton, and at the chapel on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Following the services at the Cemetery, a luncheon will be held at the Vennevoll Clubhouse at Skaalen.
Memorials in his name may be made to Stoughton Area Senior Center.
