Services were held Wednesday, March 5 at Peace United Church of Christ in Dorchester, with Rev. Robert Everhard officiating. Burial was at North Dorchester Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers were Rick Hardrath, Troy Kreklau, David Gumz, Rodney Gumz, Doug Fink and Randy Apfelbeck.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 7 at 11 a.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Medford, with Rev. Pete Warmanen officiating. Interment with full military honors will take place at Medford Evergreen Cemetery II. Pallbearers will be K. C. Corley, Bill Birkholz, Dan Higgins, Rick Christensen, Rick Garza and Pete Heikkinen.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 6 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Dallmann-Kniewel Funeral Home in Medford, and at the church on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.

William Pawelko, 92, McHenry, Ill., died Saturday, March 22, 2008 from an aneurysm, at his home with his wife and daughter at his side. He had been under Hope Hospice care for a week. Interment will be held on Friday, April 11 at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove, with ceremonies at the chapel and graveside.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 19, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the home of Charles and Phyllis Meinhardt, 225 N. Hendren Ave., Greenwood. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Withee.
