Donald Staab
Donald Staab, a fifth generation Waukesha Staab family member, died on Saturday, June 22, 2002 at Franciscan Woods in Brookfield at the age of 67 years. He was born on March 29, 1935 in Waukesha, the son of Clarence "Bingo" & Lillian (nee Streed) Staab.

Don was a Mechanical Engineer and earned his Masters Degree from the University of Wisconsin in Madison. He owned Special Equipment Services since 1967. Don loved his farm and his garden. He had a creative and positive approach to life. He loved his family…his wife, children and grandchildren. He was a very positive person who had great enthusiasm for life.

Don is the beloved husband of Rhoda (nee Babler), whom he married on August 23, 1958 in New Glarus, WI. He is the dear father of Eric Staab of Albuquerque, NM., Gary (Alexandra) Staab of Sturbridge, MA., and Denise (Jeff) Reynolds of Rochester, N.Y. He is the loving grandfather of Jordan & Blake Reynolds. Don is the dear brother of Diane Hatchell of Durham, N.C. and the nephew of Evelyn Bloede of Waukesha. He is also survived by his nephews: Tim Van Horn, Brian Van Horn and Andrew Hatchell. Also surviving are other relatives and friends. His parents Clarence "Bingo" and Lillian Staab preceded him in death.

Memorial services for Don will be on Tuesday, June 25, 2002 at 7 p.m. at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home on Moreland Blvd. Pastor Howard Kusler will officiate. Friends may call on Tuesday at the funeral home from 5 to 7 p.m.

Denzil D. VanGorder
Denzil D. VanGorder, “The Old Sawman” Of Waukesha, born on April 26, 1911 in Fifield, WI, the son of Charles and Gertrude VanGorder, died on Tuesday, October 22, 2002 at the Virginia Health Care Center at the age of 91 years.

He was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church. He worked many jobs in his life as a farmer and for contractors. He also worked in the northern woods of Wisconsin as a saw filer. In Eau Claire he worked at the paper mill and rubber company. He owned and operated the Spring City Saw Shop until his retirement. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Clark, Aaron and Lyman, his sister, Winnie and also a sister who died as a child.

He will be sadly missed by his wife Gladys whom he married in Curtis, WI in 1936, his daughters, Joyce Oakes of Lakewood, Colorado and Beverly (Thomas) Rawlings of Trego, WI, his son, Kenneth (Joellen) VanGorder of Cameron, nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, his sister, Dorothy (Arthur) Hotvedt of Eau Claire and brother, Robert of Carterville, IL and good friend of 40 years, Ed Fiedler. He is further survived by cousins, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

A memorial service for Denzil will be on Saturday October 26, 2002 at 2:00 P.M. at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home on Moreland Blvd. in Waukesha. Pastor James Durnil will be the officiant. Friends may call at the time of service.

Dakota Tigger Zoeller
Darling infant son of Brian and the late Brigette Kay Zoeller, Dakota Tigger Zoeller was born and Baptised on January 8, 2003 and died January 9, 2003 in Waukesha.

Dear grandson of Robert and Lorraine Ferris and Wayne Bohl and Mary Bohl. Nephew of Tiffany (Erik) Lorenz, Kevin (Kim), Beth and Wendy Zoeller, Carrie Shallow and John Bohl. Great grandson of Roy Ferris and Myrtle Pfeiffer.

Combined funeral services for Dakota and his mother, Brigette, will be held on Sunday, January 12, 2003 at 5 p.m. at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, 1052 White Rock Ave., Waukesha. Pastor Scott Oelhafen will officiate. Friends may visit on Sunday at church from 1 to 5 p.m. Interment will be Monday, January 13, 2003. A procession will begin from Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church on Monday at 10 a.m. and proceed to Salem Cemetery in Wales. Memorials would be appreciated to Brigette's family to be used for the Neo-Natal Intensive Care Unit at Waukesha Memorial Hospital and other memorials.

Evelyn M. Becker

Of Waukesha, formerly of Wauwatosa. Born on August 11, 1908 in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of Harvey and Mary (nee Lloyd) Strock, died on Sunday, April 18, 2004 at the Waukesha Springs Health Care Center at the age of 95 years. She was a member of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church. She loved to play bridge. She was a volunteer at Westmoreland Manor while her husband was a resident.

She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Barbara (Dr. John) Harris of Waukesha, her sons; Lawrence Jr. (Genie) of Irving, TX and Gary (Carole) Becker, M.D. of Madison, 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, brother, Arthur Strock of Winnipeg, Canada, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lawrence Sr., brothers; William and Thomas and sister, Betty.

Private family services were held followed by an interment in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials are appreciated to the American Heart Association, 660 E. Mason St., Suite 200, Milwaukee, WI 53202.

Helen L. Buehl
Helen L. Buehl, of Waukesha, born on January 7, 1910 in Milwaukee, the daughter of Paul and Louise (nee Lang) Wagner, died on Friday, June 6, 2003 at Woodland Health Care Center at the age of 93 years.

She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Lois DeQuardo of Waukesha, four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ervin E. Buehl, her parents, her son, Ervin Jr., granddaughter, Lynn Hefter and son-in-law, George F. DeQuardo.

Private family services were held. Interment was in the Wisconsin Memorial Park.

Kate Caravella
Kate Caravella, of Pewaukee passed away Saturday May 31, 2003 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 47 years. Kate was born in West Allis, Wisconsin on August 27, 1955, the only daughter of Richard and Rosemary Elizabeth (nee Musha) Woppert.

She graduated from Waterford High School in 1975 and had worked at Wisconsin Bell for 15 years. Kate was a loving and devoted mother. She loved to cook and will be remembered for her cookies and pot pies. She was also a loyal friend who was outspoken. Kate was preceded in death by her mother, Rosemary E. Woppert on January 18, 1995.

Kate will be missed by her two children, Beth Caravella and Tony Caravella, both of Pewaukee, Wisconsin. She is also survived by her father, Richard Woppert of Minocqua, Wisconsin; her three brothers, Andrew Woppert of Minocqua, Wisconsin, Paul (Bobbi) Woppert of Big Bend, Wisconsin, and Christopher Woppert of DePere, Wisconsin along with her nieces and nephews, Crystal, Christy, Tyler, and Kyle. She will be missed by her close friends, Ellen Schulz and Jill Collins, Nichole Schulz, her goddaughter, and Mark Caravella of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the loving father of Beth and Tony.

The funeral Service celebrating Kate's life will be held Wednesday June 4, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home on Moreland Blvd. Burial will be in Prairie Home Cemetery in Waukesha. Friends may call on Wednesday June 4, from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at 7:00 p.m.

Kay F. Fintel
Kay F. Fintel, of Genesee Depot, died on Thursday, June 12, 2003 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 62 years. Kay was a member of the Genesee First Congregational Church-UCC of Mukwonago.

She will be sadly missed by her husband: Richard "Rich" whom she married on Nov. 29, 1958 her children: Terry (Jenny) of Waukesha and Kelly (Charlie) Hapka of Waukesha her grandchildren: C. J. (Lori Stelter) Palmer, Christopher Lee and Collin Travis Fintel. Kay is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends and her dear companion Casey.

The memorial service for Kay will be held on Tuesday, June 17, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd. Rev. Susan Stull will officiate. Friends may call from 5:30 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

Louis (Bud) C. Koeppen
Louis (Bud) C. Koeppen, lifelong resident of Waukesha, winter resident of Florida, died on Monday, June 2, 2003 at the age of 84.

Louis lived in Waukesha until 1986 and then moved to his retirement home in Harshaw, WI. Louis worked as a service manager for Bertram Motors and Donaldson Motors. He also had his own Chrysler Plymouth dealership on the 5 points in Waukesha. He later became project engineer for Kearney and Trecker where he retired in October of 1975. He proudly served in the U.S. Army in WWII. He was in the European arena in the tank division as a mechanic of tanks.

Louis was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Jane (nee Fohey) on November 12, 1986. He will be sadly missed by his daughters; Sharon (David) Sprecher of Waukesha and Donna (James) Nowak of Pewaukee; his 6 grandchildren, Shelly (Michael) Rynearson, Michael (Barbara) Sprecher, Joseph (Kris) Nowak, Jayne (Thomas) Theriault, Julie Nowak, Janet (Yancy) Byrne; his 8 great grandchildren; and special friend for 11 years, Delores Pusieko. Louis is also survived by his 3 sisters; Margaret Orvis of Harshaw, Laura Bishop of Waukesha and Evelyn "Blondie" Mitchell of Harshaw, his half brother Michael (Joan) Huegel of Denver, CO, and his 3 half sisters; Anna (Richard) Schirmacker of Boaz, AL, Lillian (William) Rostagno of Waukesha and Leona (Robert) Orr of St. Louis, MO.

Funeral services for Bud will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cesarz, Charapata and Zinnecker Funeral Home (237 W. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha). Rev. Tom Hocking will officiate. Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 4, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Prairie Home Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Soat-Vergenz Post # 721 VFW (PO Box 721 Waukesha 53187-0721) or Waukesha Bible Church, (S53 W24079 Glendale Rd. Waukesha 53186).

Mary M. Eshman
Mary M. Eshman (nee Schmelzer), a lifetime resident of Waukesha died Sunday, June 15, 2003 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 75 years. Mary was a microbiologist at Waukesha Memorial Hospital where she retired after 26 years. She was a past faculty member at Marquette University and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Mary will be sadly missed by her sons; Michael Eshman of Waukesha, Patrick (Danita) Eshman of California and Timothy Eshman of Waukesha, her daughter Kelly Eshman of Waukesha, her grandchildren; Elizabeth, Ryan and Isabella and her sister, Betty (William) Thompson of Ohio. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. Mary was preceded in death by her husband Francis and her son Casey.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church (225 S. Hartwell Ave. Waukesha). Father Gordon Weber will be officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 18, 2003 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home (237 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha). Burial will take place at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery following the service.

Mary E. Kiphart
How do you sum up eighty years of a life packed full of love, joy, family, friends, and love for the Lord Mary Ellen Kiphart (Carter) was born to eternal life on May 30, 2003.

She will be sadly missed by her three daughters, Pamela Kiphart, Donna Domina, and Cheryl (Bruce) Minson. She is further survived by her brother, Don (Mickey) Carter of Mesa, Arizona, along with nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and countless other family and friends. She was greeted in heaven by her late husband, Thornton Kiphart, Jr., and her late parents, Cora and Floyd Carter. She will be fondly remembered for her beautiful smile, her ability to comfort, and her famous potato salad. She was the solid rock in our family, and there are no words to describe our grief and no way to imagine Christmas Eve without her. As the door on earth closes, the one to heaven appears.

Reverend Scott Smith will be the officiant at the funeral service on Tuesday, June 3, at 12:00 noon at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 North Moreland Boulevard in Waukesha. Visitation is scheduled on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the noon service. Burial will immediately follow the service with a procession from the funeral home to Prairie Home Cemetery in Waukesha. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.

Dorothy Mae Radomski
Dorothy Mae Radomski, lifelong resident of Waukesha died Friday February 21, 2003 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 74 years. Dorothy was born April 1, 1928 in Waukesha a daughter of the late Charles and Pearl (nee Clarke) Vincent.

She worked as a secretary for Waukesha Motor Works and then married Edward "Chip" Radomski on October 21, 1950. She was also a bookkeeper for Scientific Plastics for 14 years and worked as a travel agent for Riverside Travel before retiring. Dorothy loved her family. She was an avid reader and traveler. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Edward "Chip" Radomski in 1993, a brother: Elliot and a sister: Everal.

Dorothy is survived by her two children: Brian E. Radomski of Waukesha and Nadine E. Radomski of Lake Villa, Illinois. She is also survived by her seven brothers and sisters: Virginia (Jack) Conway of Florida, Charles Vincent of Waukesha, Donald (Harriet) Vincent of Waukesha, Kenneth Vincent of Waukesha, Morlin (Kathy) Vincent of Texas, Shirley (Pete) Peterson of Texas, and Ronald (Susan) Vincent, Sr. of California, her special caregivers: Cynthia and Bob Deatrick and Linda Vincent, along with other relatives and friends.

The funeral celebrating Dorothy's life will be held Wednesday February 26, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home on Moreland Blvd. in Waukesha. The Rev. Howard Bowman, pastor of First Congregational Church in Waukesha, will be the officiant. Friends may call at the funeral home on Moreland Blvd. on Wednesday from 3:30 p.m. until the time of service at 7:00 p.m. Memorials in Dorothy's name may be directed to the Regional Cancer Center (721 American Avenue Waukesha, WI. 53188).
