Betty Overbaugh Sappington
Betty Overbaugh Sappington, formerly of Wauwatosa, died at Wisconsin Lutheran Care Center on August 24, 2003 at the age of 85. She was born November 13, 1917 in Hartland, Wisconsin daughter of Dr. Herbert John and Gertrude (nee Smith) Overbaugh.

She graduated from Washington High School, attended Stephen's College, UW-Madison, and Prospect Hall Business School. On May 29, 1943 she married Raymond Sappington. Betty had volunteered at the Congregational Home in Brookfield for many years and for other organizations. She is a member of First Congregational Church in Wauwatosa. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband: Raymond in 1991, her beloved son John 1965, and a sister Gretchen in 1953.

She is survived by her daughter: Susan Rae Sappington of Milwaukee. A Memorial Service celebrating Betty's life will be held Tuesday, September 9, 2003, at 7:00 p.m. at First Congregational Church (1511 Church in Wauwatosa) Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. until the time of service.

Heartfelt gratitude to the Laureate Group in Waukesha and Wisconsin Lutheran Care Center in Milwaukee for their kind and gentle care of Betty. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Betty's name may be directed to the Wisconsin Lutheran Care Center (P.O. Box 245039 Milwaukee, WI. 53224-9539).

Frederick John (Fritz) Kreidler
Frederick John (Fritz) Kreidler, lifelong resident of Waukesha, died Sunday September 21, 2003, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. Fritz was born December 9, 1923, in Plymouth, Wisconsin a son of Bernard and Emma (nee Tymnick) Kreidler.

When he was 7 years old, he would go down to the 5 Points in Waukesha and sell the extra editions of the paper during the Depression. He was an altar boy at St. Joseph's Catholic Church and would do the 5:00 a.m.

mass because of his short stature and slight limp. As an adult, he continued his religion by serving as an usher at the 12:10 mass at St.

Joseph's and then at St. Mary's.

"Fritzie" then drove taxi cab for the City of Waukesha for many years. He drove the school busses for Catholic Memorial High School in the 1950's and worked for two family owned businesses, which were Kreidler Builders and Waukesha Wood Specialty. He then served as a custodian and handled maintenance for St. Mary's Catholic Church for about 17 years until his retirement. In his retirement, he worked at several gas stations in Waukesha.

Fritz had been a blood donor since 1945 and received several awards. He enjoyed being an umpire and was inducted into the Land O' Lakes Hall of Fame. He also did the score board for Catholic Memorial High School every Friday night for the football team.

Fritzie went into the Merchant Marines-College Training Detachment in October of 1942 in Euclid, Ohio.

He bowled for four generations with his family at Fracaro's Bowling Alley, and later he became the secretary of a 3-Man Bowling League at Atlantis. He was also the secretary of the 4-Man Bowling League on Tuesday nights at Fox Run. Fritz is a member of the American Bowling Congress Hall of Fame.

Everyone knew Fritzie by his friendly disposition and outgoing manner, and his family was always a priority to him.

Fritz will be missed by all who knew him, especially his wife Charlotte, whom he married October 20, 1956; his children, Charlene (Juan) Nunez of Waukesha and Charles "Champ" (Janelle) Kreidler of Delafield; four grandchildren, Emily, and Tyler, Abigail "Abby" and Cody. Fritz is also survived by five sisters, Emma Hetzel Keske of Waukesha; Marion (Bill) Smith of Phoenix, AZ; Lorraine Harmon (John) Martin of Keshena, WI; Bernadine Poppie of Hartford, WI; and Catherine "Kitty" (James) Gilane of Hartford, WI; and a brother, Lawrence "Larry" (Evelyn) Kreidler of Waukesha, along with other relatives and friends.

The Mass of Christian Burial for Fritz will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday September 25, 2003 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, (Corner of Newhall and Hartwell) in Waukesha. Fathers Brian Mason and Neil Zinthefer will co-celebrate. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Waukesha immediately following the mass. There will be a parish vigil at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 24, 2003 at the funeral home. Friends may call at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday September 24, 2003, and a second visitation will be held Thursday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 10:00 am. at St.Mary's Catholic Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Fritzie's family.

Keith Porter
Keith Porter, born on January 1, 1916 in Urbana, IL, the son of George and Mary (nee Stiff) Porter, died on Monday, September 29, 2003 at Linden Grove Health Care Center at the age of 87 years.

He retired in 1979 from the Chicago Northwestern Railroad (CNW). He was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, the National Model Railroaders Association, the Railroad Veteran’s Association, and the Waukesha Rotary. He was a graduate of Waukesha High School. He attended the University of Illinois and Milwaukee School of Engineering. For the past several years both he and his wife, Hazel, were residents of Linden Grove Health Care Center.

Keith is preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Porter, his parents, George and Mary Porter, and his sister, Willetta Murphy (Oregon). He will be sadly missed by his nephews, David Schiller of Elkhorn and Frederick Schiller of Waukesha, his sister-in-law, Sally Schiller of Greenfield, his brother-in-law, Adam (Vera) Schiller of Waukesha, and his cousin, Malcolm (Peggy) Davis of Urbana, Illinois.

Funeral Services for Keith will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1052 Whiterock Ave. Waukesha. Reverend Scott Oelhafen will officiate. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 1, 2003 from 11:30 until the time of service at church. Interment will be in Prairie Home Cemetery immediately following the service.

Louise M. Garbowicz
In the early morning of Saturday, September 27, Louise M. Garbowicz walked into the light and peace of God’s love and mercy.

She is survived by her sister, Alice Graczyk, sister-in-law, Henrietta (the late Stephen) Garbowicz, her nieces and nephews; Robert (Nancy) Warzala, Marilyn Warzala, Joseph (Ann) Woldanski, Carl (Sue) Woldanski, Steven (Marilyn) Garbowicz, Rev. Glen Graczyk, Christine (Mark) Booth, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ludwig and Marianna Garbowicz, her brothers and sisters; Marie (Walter), Joseph (Marge), Helen, Regina (Andy), Stephen, Chester and Sylvester, her brother-in-law; George Graczyk, her nephews, Richard and Donald and niece Jane.

Her new life in the Risen Lord will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 1, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Luke’s Catholic Church, 18000 W. Greenfield Ave. Brookfield, WI. Rev. Glen Graczyk will officiate. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 1, 2003 at St. Luke’s Catholic Church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. Entombment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery following Mass.

In Lieu of flowers donations to Rolland Nelson Crossroads Hospice (1020 James Dr., Hartland, WI 53029) or Franciscan Woods (19525 W. North Ave. Brookfield, WI 53045). Thanks to the kind and caring staff and volunteers of Franciscan Woods and the Rolland Nelson Crossroads Hospice, especially Sharon, Becky and the volunteers.

Anita Harrell Schultz
Anita Harrell Schultz, of Waukesha, peacefully entered into Eternal Life on Monday October 13, 2003 at the age of 77 years. She was born April 9, 1926 in Cobden, Illinois the daughter of Delbert and Edra Elnora (nee Hill) Harrell.

She had been the Administrative Assistant to the Associate Dean at the University of Wisconsin - Waukesha for over 24 years retiring in 1992. Anita loved her family and animals, especially dogs and wolves. She enjoyed classical music, collecting old movies, cooking and nature. She was preceded in death by her parents and twin brothers: David and Donald Harrell.

Anita is the loving mother of Rebecca Rush of Kensington, Maryland; Charles (Cyndy) Schultz of Dallas, Texas; and Rick (Anne) Schultz of Waukesha, Wisconsin. She is also the dear grandmother of Nick, Sarah, and Rachel Schultz of Waukesha. She is also loved by other relatives and friends.

A memorial gathering celebrating Anita’s life will be held Tuesday October 21, 2003 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home on Moreland Blvd. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed in Anita’s name to the Humane Animal Welfare Society of Waukesha County and to the Wolf Education and Research Center (P.O. Box 217 Winchester, Idaho 83555).

Agnes M. Tymnick
Agnes M. Tymnick, of Waukesha died Friday May 16, 2003 at the Heartland Health Care Center in Waukesha at the age of 95 years. Agnes was born December 21, 1907 in Calumet Michigan, a daughter of Joseph and Anna (nee Plautz) Bohte.

She married Richard Tymnick on July 29, 1937 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Waukesha, Wisconsin and Richard preceded her in death on September 17, 1988. She is a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Waukesha and was a member of the Christian Mother's of the church. She is also a member of the Kettle Moraine Geological Society and a member of the Waukesha Golden Agers. She was a super cook and her family meant everything to her. She was never afraid of work and was always thinking of others above her own needs. She did enjoy fishing and being together with her husband Richard. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Richard, a brother: John, her 5 sisters: Ann, Mary, Catherine, Josephine, and Martha.

Agnes is survived by her two daughters: Dorothy (Francis) Vogel of Jefferson, Wisconsin and Mary Tymnick of Louisville, Kentucky, 7 grandchildren: Patrick Nimtz of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Timothy Nimtz of Waukesha, Wisconsin, Mary (Michael) Massey of Mosinee, Wisconsin, Annette (Joseph) Ashton of Phoenix, Arizona, Michael (Lisa) Nimtz of Muskego, Wisconsin, T.J. Vogel of Tempe, Arizona, and Richard (Shari) Vogel of Phoenix, Arizona, and 8 great grandchildren: Anthony, Corey Tiffany, Benjamin, Thomas, Cody, Jackson, Alex and Wyatt. She is also survived by her three brothers: Joseph (June) Bohte of California, Frank Bohte of Dorchester, Wisconsin and Edward (Estelle) Bohte of Rib Lake, Wisconsin, her three sisters: Angeline Schemberger of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, Frances Seidel of Medford, Wisconsin and Dorothy Wiegel of Medford, Wisconsin along with other relatives, and her dear friends: Jerry and JoAnn Miller of Jefferson, Wisconsin.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday May 19, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church (822 N. East Avenue Waukesha). Father Michael Michalski will be the Celebrant of the Mass. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Friends may call at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home on Moreland Blvd. on Sunday May 18, 2003 from 4 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and also on Monday May 19 a visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home preceding a procession to church. A parish vigil led by Father Aurelio Perez will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday May 18 at the funeral home. Memorials and Masses may be directed in Agnes' name to St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Waukesha.

Brandy Gohl
Brandy Gohl, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, July 20, 2003 at the age of 47. Born on January 10, 1956 in Bryn Mawr, PA, the daughter of Dale and Rose (nee Leeder) Osman.

Brandy was a member of Kettle Moraine Evangelical Free Church.

Brandy is the beloved wife of Fred of Waukesha, dear mother of Nick and Trevor of Waukesha, daughter of Rose Osman of St. Louis, MO, sister of Bruce Osman of St. Louis, MO, daughter-in-law of Ruth Gohl of Canada, sister-in-law of Dieter (Edna) Gohl of Canada, and Doris (Ron) Mayer of North Dakota. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Dale and her father-in-law Kurt.

Funeral services for Brandy will be on Thursday, July 24, 2003 at 7:00 pm at the Kettle Moraine Ev. Free Church, N6 W31449 Alberta Dr., Delafield. Pastor Philip Ransom will officiate. Visitation will be on Thursday at the church from 5:00 pm until the time of service. Memorials to the American Diabetes Association or the Kettle Moraine Ev. Free Church would be appreciated.

Margaret Poytinger

of Milwaukee, born on January 24, 1926 in Milwaukee, the daughter of Blasius and Mary (Zapazauer) Zauner, died on Saturday, January 24, 2004 at Franciscan Woods Health Care Center at the age of 78 years. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Edward.

She will be sadly missed by her sons, Michael (Debbie nee Vitucci) Poytinger of Waukesha and Mark (Laurel nee Mattmiller) Poytinger of Delafield; her grandchildren, Mary (Dale) Baumer, Matthew, David, Julia and Emily; her great grandchildren, Mya Baumer and Malinda Baumer; her special friend, Orville Richards, other relatives and friends.

Memorial service for Margaret will be on Wednesday, February 4, 2004 at 6:30 pm at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd. in Waukesha. Father Leonard Barbian of St. William’s Catholic Church will officiate. Visitation will be on Wednesday at the Funeral Home from 4:00 pm until the time of service.
