Donald R. Christiansen
Donald R. Christiansen, of Roswell, Georgia, formerly of Waukesha. Born July 31, 1933 in Milwaukee, the son of Charles and Leone Christianson, died on Monday, September 22, 2003 in Georgia at the age of 70 years.

He will be sadly missed by his sons; Brad (Cynthia) of Oconomowoc and Cliff (Lorraine) of Atlanta, GA, his daughter, Therese (Randy) Gehrke of Louisville, KY, his grandchildren; Brian, Lori, Leah, Leslie, Kevin, Grant, Elizabeth, Karissa, Kyle, Korey and Kalette, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be on Saturday, September 27, 2003 from 9:30 am to 11:30 am at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd. Interment will follow in St. Bruno’s Catholic Cemetery, Dousman.

Dolores A. Furrer

Of Dousman, died on Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2003 at home at the age of 66 years. Dolores was born on August 29, 1937 the daughter of Kurt and Lillian (Ruth) Ossman in Waukesha, WI. She was an avid golfer, enjoyed bowling and loved her family.
Dolores will be sadly missed by her husband, Jack her children, Vicky (Ken) Andler and Michael (Jeanne) Furrer her mother, Lillian Ruth Ossman her grandchildren, Jennifer Borre, Joe, John & Mike Furrer Great Grandchildren, Avery Borre, Taylor Joseph Furrer her sister, Susie (Jerry) Sweet and her brother, Jack (Susan) Ossman Further survived by her companion Cody. She is preceded in death by Kurt Ossman.

The memorial service for Dolores will be held on Saturday, Nov. 8, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home 237 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha. Chaplain Nancy Anderson will officiate. The visitation will be held on Saturday at the funeral home from 12 noon until the time of service at 2:00 p.m.
Memorials are appreciated to the charity of the donor’s choice.

Dorothy May Heintz
It is with profound sadness that we inform our relatives and friends of the death of Dorothy May Heintz on Wednesday July 23, 2003. She was recovering from a compression fracture at Linden Grove, Inc. Waukesha, WI.

Dorothy M. Heintz was born in the Town of Ottawa on October 31, 1908 to Chelsea E. and Ida (Mortimer) Jones. She moved to North Prairie when she was 9 years old to live with her great grandmother, Mary Ann Burnell. In 1926 she graduated from Waukesha High School and was a legal secretary in Waukesha until her marriage. On June 12, 1929 she married John L. Heintz in the North Prairie United Methodist Church. They were married 65 ½ years at the time of his death on November 5, 1994. Dorothy was a member of the North Prairie United Methodist Church and a life member of the Order of the Eastern Star. In 1942 Dorothy joined William W. Perry Chapter #275 OES Eagle, Wisconsin. In 1946 she served as Worthy Matron of her chapter. She was presented with her 50 year membership by Rob Morris Chapter #10 OES Palmyra, Wisconsin. She was a successful helpmate to her husband on the family farm and a very compassionate person. For the past 74 years her home was at 318 N. Main Street in North Prairie, WI. Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Frances Heintz Taylor, her grandson, John Heintz Taylor and her German Shepherd companion, Heidi.

Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, WI is serving the family. Visitation will be on Sunday, July 27, 2003 from 4 PM to 7 PM Eastern Star services at 7 PM conducted by Rob Morris Chapter #10, with Christian services immediately following officiated by the Reverend Bonnie Bell. Private Interment will be Monday, July 28, 2003 in the North Prairie Cemetery. The North Prairie United Methodist Church Carillon will toll Dorothy's age at that time.

Donald "Don" H. Hoover

Of Muskego, Wisconsin. Born on June 7, 1922, in South Bend, IN, the son of Glen and Stephanie Hoover, died on Friday, February 13, 2004, at Linden Grove Health Care Center at the age of 81 years. He was a graduate of the University of Notre Dame. Don proudly served in the Air Force in WWII. He worked in the International Division of the Bendix Corp. in New York City. He retired in 1986 in Springfield, VA. Don will be sadly missed by his wife, Eleanor (nee Hoyle), whom he married on June 10, 1944, his children, Marcia (Louis) Bruno of Brookfield, WI, Richard (Dr. Jacki Kornbluth) Hoover M.D. of St. Louis, MO, Stephen Hoover of Mahwah, NJ, Thomas (Mary) Hoover of Muskego, WI, Michelle (David) Caldwell of Minnetonka, MN, Robert (Nancie) Hoover of Blaine, MN, 13 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, his brother, Robert “Jim” (Irene) Hoover of California, his sister-in-law, Darlene Hoover of South Bend, IN, and other relatives and friends. His parents and his brother, Dale, preceded him in death.

A Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, February 18, 2004, at 3:30 p.m. at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart on the Notre Dame Campus, South Bend, IN. Visitation will be held on Wednesday at the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Dr. South Bend, IN from 12:00 – 3:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Masses are appreciated or memorials to the charity of donor’s choice.

Clara Dyvig Bower

Of Brookfield, formerly of Redfield, South Dakota died Thursday, May 6, 2004 at the Woodland Health Care Center in Brookfield at the age of 93 years. Clara was born December 17, 1910 in Howard, South Dakota a daughter of Edwin and Bertha (nee Eitriem) Dyvig. Clara moved from Redfield to Waukesha in July of 1996. Her husband, Adam Bower, owned Bower Highway Construction Company in Redfield. He preceded her in death on November 2, 1983. Clara is a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Redfield, South Dakota. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her daughter, Marlys Bower on December 1, 1973 along with 15 brothers and sisters.

Clara is survived by her daughter, Dixie Bower of Waukesha, Wisconsin; two grandchildren, Beth (Larry) Osness of Waukesha, Wisconsin and David Williams of Coralville, Iowa along with 3 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Graveside services for Clara will be held in the Greenlawn Cemetery beside her husband, Adam in Redfield, South Dakota on Monday, May 10, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will be at the Thelen Funeral Home (101 E. 7th Ave. in Redfield, South Dakota) on Sunday, May 9, 2004. from 2 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Phyllys Faye Leberman

84, Of Waukesha, died on April 24, 2004 at Linden Grove Health Care Center. She was born in Platteville, Wi. on January 24, 1920 to John and Elizabeth Helker.

Phyllys was employed in sales for several retailers in Waukesha and attended the Layton School of Art. She enjoyed painting landscapes, flowers and animals using oil and watercolors. Finished paintings were displayed in her home and given as gifts for friends and family.

She is survived by her sons; Terry Leberman and Timothy (Donna) Leberman, her daughter, Suzanne Leberman, her grandchildren; Kerry Sean Leberman, Robin Leberman and Amber Leberman and her brother, Paul (Phyllis) Helker.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Walter Leberman and her brother, Raymond Helker.

A visitation for Phyllys will be on Saturday, May 1, 2004 from 9:00 am to 10:30 am. at St. Mark’s Ev. Lutheran Church, 424 Hyde Park Ave., Waukesha. The Rev. James Wilch will preside at a 10:30 am memorial service following the visitation. Inurnment will follow the service at Prairie Home Cemetery. Memorials in Phyllys’ name would be appreciated to a charity of donor’s choice.

Helen Heil

Of Waukesha, formerly of Wausau, was called home to Eternal Life on Saturday, May 15, 2004 at Linden Grove Health Care Center at the age of 86 years. Helen was born the daughter of Joseph and Anne Herman on Nov. 8, 1917 in Mosinee, WI. Helen married Gregory Heil on February 24, 1936 and they lived in Wausau until Greg’s retirement in 1982. While living in Wausau she was very active with Holy Name Catholic Church and the Holy Name Circle. After moving to Waukesha they became members of St. John Neumann Catholic Church. Helen enjoyed sewing, gardening, oil painting and loved her family. She was a great storyteller, loved cooking and baking and never wanted anyone to go away from her home hungry.

Helen was the loving mother of Geraldine Schoepke (James McMahon) of Waukesha, Russell (Mary) Heil of Waukesha, Linda (Tim) Tvrdik of Colorado; proud grandmother of Steven (Sally) Schoepke, Cynthia (Mike) Kieren, Susan Jordan, David (Kate Hastings) Schoepke, Tammy (Jeff) Radmer, Angela (Roland) Aragon, Mary (Keith Moran) Heil, Gregory (Kate) Heil, Laura Heil Nicholas and Jennifer Tvrdik; loving great grandmother of Justin, Luke and Aaron Schoepke, Jessica and Jonathan Kieren, Sara and Jason Jordan, Samantha and Jacob Radmer, Ariana and Joseph Aragon, great great grandmother of Anne Rose Schoepke. Further survived by her niece, Mary Ann Pagel of Milwaukee other relatives and many friends. Helen is preceded in death by her husband, Gregory of 65 years of marriage and her son, Eugene.

The funeral Mass of Christian burial will be held at 12 Noon on Wednesday, May 19, 2004 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 2400 Highway 59. Father Don Zerkel will officiate. Friends may call at church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass on Wednesday. Interment will be at Salem Cemetery in Wales.

James H. Gore Sr.

Of Waukesha. Born on January 10, 1910 in Hamilton, Georgia, the son of Will and Lulu (nee Gibson) Gore, died on Wednesday, May 5, 2004 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 94 years. He was a member of Community Baptist Church of Greater Milwaukee.

He will be sadly missed by his wife, Virginia, whom he married on August 25, 1928, his children; James (Mary) Gore Jr. and Gloria Olivier, his grandchildren; James (Josefa), Dennis, Denise (Tony), Dawn and Ara (Julius), his great grandchildren; Jessica, Janine, Cherie (Eric), Tony (Kaneshe), Aran, Arick, Saira and Ceara, his great great grandchildren; H’Vyn, Kenyjah, Eryn and Tamyra, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers and sisters; Charles, Georgia, William, Daisy Lee, Clifford, Fred, Annie Mae, Barney, Clyde, Louise, Ruben, Lee, Frank and Ralph.

Visitation for James will be on Tuesday, May 11, 2004 at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home from 11:00 am until the Funeral Service at 1:00 pm. Rev. Roy B. Nabors will officiate. Interment will follow in the Prairie Home Cemetery.

Joyce A. Warsh

Of Waukesha died Thursday May 20, 2004 at her home. Joyce was born April 16, 1936, in Butler, Wisconsin a daughter of Harry and Lillian (nee St. Albin) Schmidt. She attended Custer High School, and graduated in 1955. On February 15, 1958, she married Donald Warsh in Milwaukee. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Ronnie Totsky and Audrey Katrichis, and two brothers, Wayne and Harry Schmidt.

Joyce is a member of St. William Catholic Church in Waukesha and a member of the Christian Mothers of the church. She is also a member of the Multiple Sclerosis Club of Waukesha, and a member of TOPS in Waukesha. She had been a volunteer with the Waukesha Public Schools, had been a den mother, and enjoyed bowling, and playing sheepshead. No matter what was happening, she had a positive attitude and a strong will. She loved her family and was cared for by a dedicated and loving husband and family.

Joyce will be missed by her loving husband, Donald Warsh of Waukesha; her six children, Dennis Warsh of Franklin, WI, Daniel (Jodi) Warsh of Waukesha, David (Linda) Warsh of Center, Colorado, Jacki (Tom) Mueller of Muskego, WI, Judi (Guy) Goldammer of Hartford, WI, and Dean (Kerri) Warsh of Oconomowoc, WI. She will also be missed by her nine grandchildren, Amanda, Adam, Karen, Ashley, Danielle, Whitney, Morgan, Shaylin, and Caitlin, six sisters-in-law, three brothers-in-law, along with other relatives and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Joyce on Monday May 24, 2004, at 7:00 p.m. at St. William Catholic Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd. in Waukesha. Father Leonard Barbian will be the celebrant. Friends may call on Monday at the church from 4:00 p.m. until the mass at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Joyce’s name may be directed to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation c/o National Multiple Sclerosis Society Wisconsin Chapter, W223 N608 Saratoga Drive Waukesha, WI 53186.

Pauline R. Grundman
Pauline R. Grundman, age 90 of Waukesha, died Wednesday May 29, 2002 at the Virginia Health Care Center in Waukesha. Pauline was born October 10, 1911 in St. Francis, Wisconsin a daughter of the late Francis and Regina nee (McGuire) Kuntz.

She is a charter member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Waukesha. She is also a member of the Christian Mother's of the church. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Richard on February 10, 1988; her two brothers, Gordon and Howard Kuntz; and her three sisters, Evelyn Strasser, Isabell Chapman, and Patricia Scheu.

Pauline is survived by her son, James (Sandy) Grundman of Ogema, Wisconsin; two grandchildren, William (Val) Grundman of Waukesha, Wisconsin and John (Amber) Grundman of Eagle, Wisconsin; five great grandchildren, Phoebe, Nicklaus, Jack, Zane, and Casey, along with many nieces and nephews.

A very special thank you to her two nieces, Nova Mathews and Jane Plechaty; and her two close friends, Hazel Troxel and Doris Meise.

The Mass of Christian Burial for Pauline will be held Saturday June 1, 2002 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Waukesha. Please meet at the church at the time of service. (225 S. Hartwell Ave. Waukesha) Father Brian Mason will be the Celebrant of the Mass. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Waukesha. Friends may call at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home on Moreland Blvd. on Friday May 31, 2002 from 5 to 8 p.m.
