Lois J. DeLellis
Lois J. DeLellis, of Waukesha, died unexpectedly on Thursday, May 30, 2002 at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital at the age of 70. Lois was born on June 30, 1931, the daughter of Walter and Lillian (nee Kamrath) Oestreich.

Lois was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church and a member of the Eastern Star and enjoyed collecting birds and teddy bears.

She will be sadly missed by her daughters; Vicki (Terry) Nagel of Waukesha, Mary Beth (John) Pells of St. Petersburg, FL and Donna (Ed) Ackley of Madison, her brother, Richard (Jeanne) Oestreich of Jackson, WI, her sisters; Marilyn (Edward) Allan of Menomonee Falls and Lynn Nafzger of Pewaukee, her grandchildren; Perry (Kristina) Lowe, Kristi (Shahrooz) Farahbakhsh, Micki (David) Koehler, Kelly Nagel, Kim Nagel, David Nelson, Ellen Saur, Stacy (Dan) Peapenburg, 4 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Paul. Funeral services for Lois will be on Monday, June 3, 2002 at 7:00 pm at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd. Pastor James Wilch will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 pm until time of service. Entombment will be in Wisconsin Memorial Park on Tuesday at 11:00 am. Memorials are appreciated to the Humane Animal Welfare Society.

Mary Ann Pleskatschek
Waukesha resident, Mary Ann Pleskatschek, died on Friday September 13, 2002 at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee at the age of 84 years. She was born on March 10, 1918 in Milwaukee, the daughter of William & Clara (nee Loppnow) Kinsella.

Mary Ann retired from the Square D Corporation in 1975, where she worked as a key punch operator. She was a volunteer at St. Michael’s Hospital for 25 years. She is a member of St. William Catholic Church in Waukesha and a former member of St. Monica’s Catholic Church in Whitefish Bay. Mary Ann was a member of the Square D Old Timers’ Club, and she enjoyed playing cards and bingo.

She will be sadly missed by her husband, John G. Pleskatschek, whom she married on July 12, 1941 in Milwaukee. She is the dear mother of Mary Ann (Ulrich) Waldenmeyer of Waukesha. She is the grandmother of Ulrich (Jennifer) Waldenmeyer of Leawood, KS., and Matthew Waldenmeyer of Waukesha, and the great grandmother of Ulrich, Jacob, Hailey and Henry. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mary Ann was preceded in death by her brother, William and sisters: Pat Renek and Dana Lucas.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 17, 2002, at 10:30 a.m. at St. William Catholic Church in Waukesha. Fr. Mark Payne will celebrate Mass. Friends may call on Monday, September 16, 2002 at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. A parish vigil will be Monday at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorials would be appreciated to The American Heart Association, The Waukesha Civic Theater or the Charity of the Donor’s Choice.

Martin A. Powell

of Waukesha died in an automobile accident on Wednesday, December 24, 2003 in Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin at the age of 78 years. Martin was born June 7, 1925 in Kaukauna, Wisconsin a son of Myron and Mary (nee Robinson) Powell. He attended Chilton High School and entered the U.S. Navy at the age of 17 in Milwaukee. He first enlisted as an apprentice seaman on December 30, 1942. On December 30, 1949, he married Lorraine Jacobson in Norwich, CT. He worked his way from bottom up through the ranks and qualified for special duties such as instructor and chief torpedo man's mate (Submarine service). His highest achievement was Chief Petty Officer and he received medals and ribbons of the American Area Campaign, WWII Victory Medal, Good Conduct Medal, and the Asian-Pacific Area Campaign. He retired from active duty in April 1965. He then enlisted in the U.S. Naval Reserve until his retirement in 1972. He proudly made a career of serving his country. His work ethic took him to several jobs. He currently worked for KL Trust which was Sen. Kohl's Jefferson Building in Milwaukee. His title was building maintenance supervisor. Martin was a lifetime member of the Elk's Club, The Fleet Reserve, and The U.S. Submarine Veterans. He also was an on call blood donor for the American Red Cross. He loved woodworking, hunting, fishing, travel, and had many skills. He was an engineer at heart. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters, Lucille Balza, Agnes Martzahl, Ila Brehmer, Anna Ahrens, and two brothers: Robert and William Powell.

Martin will be sadly missed by his children, Linda (James) Lewis of Arcadia, IN, Kristi (Peter) Powell-Grenfell of New York, NY, and Wendy (Gregory) Galbraith of Aniwa, WI, six grandchildren, Evan, Jessica, Nora Lorraine, Kerry, Sara, and David Powell. Also survived by his brothers, Herbert (Marie) Powell and Eugene (Muriel) Powell both of Kaukauna, his sister-in-laws, Doris Powell of Menomonee Falls and Viola Powell of Kaukauna. Further survived by his brother-in-law, Leroy Balza of Kaukauna.

The combined funeral service for Lorraine and Martin will be held Saturday January 3, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mark's Ev. Lutheran Church in Waukesha (424 Hyde Park Avenue Waukesha) Rev. James Wilch will be the officiant.
Burial will be in the Norway Lutheran Church Cemetery in the Town of Norway.
Friends may call at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home on Moreland Blvd. on Friday January 2, 2004 from 3 P.M. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mark' s Ev. Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Lorraine's name may be directed to St. Mark's Ev. Lutheran Church or to the American Cancer Society. Memorials in Martin's name may be directed to the American Red Cross or to Ducks Unlimited.

Mary T. "Peggy" Repinski

Age 83 of Waukesha (formerly of Lakewood, Wisconsin and Hollywood Florida) died Monday January 19, 2004, at the Linden Grove Health Care Facility in Waukesha. Mary was born August 28, 1920 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin a daughter of Leon and Mary (nee Niedbalski) Kowalkowski. She retired from Clark Oil Company in 1975 as the office manager. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Eugene Repinski in 1993, and four brothers: Chet, William, Stanley, and Steven.

Mary is survived by her two sons: Gregory (Lori) Repinski of Waukesha, and Jeffrey Repinski of Oak Park, California. She is also survived by her three grandchildren: Chad (April) Repinski of Jackson Hole, Wyoming, Lisa Repinski of Waukesha, and Heather Repinski of Oak Park, California, two brothers: John Kowalkowski of South Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Frank (Evelyn) Kowalkowski of Lakewood, Wisconsin along with other relatives and friends.

A Mass celebrating Mary’s life will be held Friday January 23, 2004, at 11:00 am at St. Paul Catholic Church in Genesee (S38 W31602 Highway D) Father Bob Gozma will be the celebrant. Burial will be at a later date in the Lakewood Cemetery in Lakewood, Wisconsin (Oconto County). Friends may call on Thursday January 22, 2004 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home on Moreland Blvd. Masses in Mary’s name or memorials to St. Paul Catholic Church (S38 W31602 Highway D Genesee Depot, WI. 53217). The Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home on Moreland Blvd. is serving the family.

Michael Stuart Riddell
Michael Stuart Riddell, beloved son of Daniel and Stephanie Jo (nee McHugh) Riddell died Thursday August 23, 2001 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital.

Michael is survived by his parents: Daniel and Stephanie Riddell of Mukwonago, Wisconsin, his maternal grandparents: Kathryn McHugh of Waukesha, Wisconsin and Arlyn McHugh of Sullivan, Wisconsin, his paternal grandparents: Alan (Debbie) Riddell of West Allis, Wisconsin, his maternal great grandmothers: Gloria Graves of Mayville, Wisconsin and Mae McHugh of Shawano, Wisconsin, and his paternal great grandmother: Marie Schmidbauer of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Michael is also survived by his aunts: Connie (Ric) Goetz of Woodlands, Texas, and Rosemary (Mike) Gruett of Hartland, Wisconsin, his uncles: Patrick McHugh of Waukesha, Wisconsin, Randy Riddell of Phoenix, Arizona, Alan Riddell, Jr. of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Ryan Riddell of West Allis, Wisconsin.

Michael was preceded in death by his maternal great grandfathers: Lawrence Graves, Francis McHugh and Herbert Schmidbauer and his paternal grandparents: Howard and Eva Riddell.

Graveside services for Michael will be Thursday August 30, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. at Highland Memorial (14875 W. Greenfield Avenue) New Berlin, Wisconsin. The Rev. Michael Hook of the Apostolic Life Tabernacle in Waukesha will be the officiant. The Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home in Waukesha is serving the family.

Michael (Mike) Murphy
Michael (Mike) Murphy, of Waukesha, born on May 20, 1952 in Buffalo, New York, the son of Michael Sr. and Helen (nee Alexander) Murphy, died on Tuesday, March 4, 2003 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 50 years.

He was a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church. Mike worked at Quad Graphics in the Sussex Plant.

Mike will be sadly missed by his wife, Deborah Daly Hayes-Murphy of Virginia, his daughter, Alexandra Murphy, his sister, Maureen (Larry) Davidson of Colorado, his nephews; Eric (Angela) Davidson and Glenn (Marisa) Davidson both of Colorado, other relatives and friends.

A Funeral Mass for Mike will be on Monday, March 10, 2003 at 7:00 pm at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 2400 Hwy 59, Waukesha. Father Glenn Graczyk will officiate. Visitation for Mike will be on Monday at the church from 4:00 pm until the time of Mass. In lieu of flowers memorials to the St. John Neumann Youth Choir would be appreciated.

Phillip D. Reetz
Phillip D. Reetz, of Waukesha. Born on February 13, 1944 in La Crosse, WI, the son of Irvin and Helen (nee Clements) Reetz, died on Friday, January 31, 2003 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 58 years.

Phil was a member of the VFW Post 721, the Marine Corps League, D.A.V. and the Vietnam Veterans. He was a corporal in the Marines, serving from 1962 to 1966. He enjoyed his grandchildren, watching television and going north in the summertime.

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Betty (nee Monroe), his sons, Timothy (Dawn) of Sussex, Steven of Waukesha, his daughter, Debra (Tim) Wronski of West Bend, his grandchildren; Alyssa, Thea, Jasmine, Jesse and Griffin, his mother, Helen Reetz of Waukesha, his brothers; Charles and Bernard (Lois) of North Prairie, his sisters; Marlene (Jerry) Becker of Deerfield, IL and Joey (Charlie) Anderson of Florida, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

A funeral service for Phil will be on Tuesday, February 4, 2003 at 7:30 pm at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home on Moreland Blvd. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4:00 pm until the time of service.

Rudolph Otto "Rudy" Neudek

Age 79 formerly of Waukesha died Thursday February 26, 2004 at his home in Three Pillars in Dousman. Rudy was born May 18, 1924 in Oshkosh Wisconsin, a son of Alois and Emma (nee Prokupek) Neudek. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy as a gunners mate on the U.S.S. Indiana polis during World War II. He was a successful businessperson who owned Rudolph Neudek, Inc. and worked for Building Service Incorporated in Milwaukee for many years. He also has a patent to his name. On May 27, 1950, he married Patricia Droegkamp in Wauwatosa. The couple celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in May 2000. Rudy is a member of Zion Presbyterian church and served on the building trustee committee when the current church was built. He is a lifetime member of the Waukesha Golden K and served as a past president of the group. Rudy was a family man who really enjoyed his cabin up north and taking his family on trips. He adored his grandchildren and was involved in their lives. He enjoyed fishing for walleye in Wisconsin and in Canada. Rudy and Patricia also loved to travel the world. After his retirement, the couple wintered in Arizona for many years. Rudy was always eager to meet new people and become close friends with the people he met. Rudy was preceded in death by his parents, a brother: Bill, two sisters: Betty Spurr and Marge Ast, along with three step-brothers and two-step sisters.
Rudy is survived by his wife: Patricia Neudek of Delafield, Wisconsin, his four children: Arthur (Debbie) Neudek of Boston, MA, Bill Neudek of Waukesha, Dave (Janice Edison) Neudek of Mt. Horeb, WI, and Nancy (Dan) Shea of Brookfield, WI. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren: Katrina, Andrew, Rachel, Alexandra, Anna, Grace, and Thomas, a sister: Klara Provine of California a first cousin Leo (Anne) Prokupek of Germany along with other relatives and friends.
The memorial service celebrating Rudy’s life will be held Monday, March 1, 1004, at twelve noon at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home on Moreland Blvd. in Waukesha. Friends may call at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the time of service at noon. Memorials in Rudy’s name may be directed to the Waukesha Golden Kiwanis. A special thank you to the Rolland Nelson Crossroads Hospice and the Visiting Angels for their kind and compassionate care of Dad.

Susan G. Lukowitz

Of Wales, died on Monday, Feb.16, 2004 at home at the age of 85 years. Susan was born on Jan. 23, 1919 the daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth (Kieman) Whelan. She was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Genesee Depot. She was a true original and a precious mother.

Susan will be sadly missed by her daughters, Roberta (Peter) Nielsen of Wales Polly Waites of Tucson, AZ Linda (Nicholas) Bautz of Genesee, WI and Carol (Wayne) Mrugalski of Salem, WI her grandchildren, Laura (Troy) Krieger, Christine Nielsen, Shelby (Ken) Henrich, Michael (Jennifer) Bautz, Christopher (Rhonda) Bautz, Patrick Backler and Sean (Tracy) Backler Four Great Grandchildren one brother, Patrick (Marion) Whelan of Milwaukee nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends. She is preceded by her husband, Robert and her sisters and brothers.

The memorial mass to celebrate Susan’s life will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul’s Catholic Church (Hwys 83 & D) Genesee Depot, WI. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the 11:00 a.m. mass. Burial will be at St. Paul’s Catholic Cemetery Genesee, WI. In lieu of flowers memorials are appreciated to Rolland D. Nelson Crossroads Hospice.

Thomas Ray
Thomas Ray, age 91, of Toccoa, Georgia, formerly of Waukesha, died Monday June 17, 2002 at BJC Medical Center in Commerce.

Thomas was born May 31, 1911 in Beloit, Ohio and lived most of his life in Waukesha and in Toccoa since 1998. He was a retired purchasing manager in the Steel Industry. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Toccoa, and had served as an elder of the Presbyterian Church and was also a former Sunday school Teacher. He is a member of the National Association of Purchasing Agents and was a past president of the District of Milwaukee Chapter. He was preceded in death by his wife: Wilhelmina Jane Small Ray on June 26, 1992.

Survivors are his daughter; Jane Ann Quartel of Toccoa, Georgia, three grandsons; Phillip (Sherry) Quartel of Acworth, Georgia, Jonathon (Kimberly) Quartel of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida, and Brian (Michelle) Quartel of Kennesaw, Georgia, two great grandchildren; Kara Tiller and Marie Fontain along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, June 21, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church (810 North East Avenue in Waukesha) The Rev. David Ellis will be the officiant. Entombment will be at Wisconsin Memorial in Brookfield, Wisconsin. Friends may call at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home on Moreland Blvd. on Thursday June 20, 2002 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Friends may also call at the First Presbyterian Church in Waukesha on Friday June 21, 2002 from noon until the time of service at 1:00 p.m.
