Catherine Anderson of Beloit, WI died Wednesday, March 16, 2005 at Beloit Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Albany, WI, the daughter of Leonard and Marie Kundert Marty. Catherine married Melvin C. Winning on August 10, 1946 in Rockford, IL. He predeceased her on November 18 1975. She married Glenn J. Anderson on May 4, 1988 in Janesville, WI.

Catherine worked as a beautician at Arlet Beauty Salon, Norma’s Beauty Salon and Vogue Beauty Salon. She was a member of the Redeemer Evangelical Covenant Church and The Super Sixties. Catherine was a Kiddie Kampus Volunteer.

Survivors include her husband, Glenn J. Anderson of Beloit, WI; daughter, Diane (Dennis) Miller of Beloit, WI; granddaughters, Juleene Campbell of Beloit, WI and Ranae (Darby) Walker of Beloit, WI; great grandsons, Brady Campbell, Cole Walker and Cory Walker; sister-in-law, Verna Winning of Lena, IL; brother-in-law, Carl Anderson of Beloit, WI; numerous nieces and nephews

She was predeceased by her parents and seven sisters, Barbara Coulter, Marie Laveen, Margaret Roth, Elsie Zaugg, Nancy George, Rose Patterson and Fannie Sturzengger.

Catherine’s great grandsons could always bring a smile to her face. This smile and the love that she had for her husband and family will be forever missed.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 21, 2005 at the Redeemer Evangelical Covenant Church, 2500 Prairie Ave., Beloit, WI with the Reverend Christopher Carlson officiating. Burial will be held at East Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, March 20, 2005 at the Daley-Murphy-Wisch & Associates Funeral Home, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI 53511.

Memorial may be given in her name to the Redeemer Evangelical Covenant Church.

William F. “Bill” Austin, 77 of Beloit, WI died peacefully Thursday, February 10, 2005 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on August 15, 1927 in Beloit, WI, the oldest and first son of Mathew and Mildred Witt Austin. Bill graduated from High School in 1945. He went to Rock Valley College and graduated in 1972 with an Associates Degree in Machine Design. Bill married Beverly Tamblingson on April 27, 1979 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Beloit. He served in the Wisconsin National Guard and the Army Reserve, with the 12th Preventive Medical Unit. Service in the 12th gave him background in water purification which he applied at Richards of Rockford. Bill retired from the Broaster Company in Beloit.

When Bill retired he joined the Stateline Literacy Council, tutored, wrote limericks, designed a display for a novel, and did whatever he could. He joined the Beloit Noon Kiwanis for 14 years until poor health forced his retirement. He served as club president for a year, chaired the interclub committee for several years, winning a banner patch for each year. He served as a captain in peanut sales for several years, co-chaired the pancake breakfast and served as co-chairman with Bill Rodermel, of the Community Services Program. Bill was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church where he served as convocation delegate, vestry man and junior warden.

Survivors include wife, Beverly, children, Margaret Bacon of Madison, WI, Thomas (Vivi) Erickson Austin of Minneapolis, MN, Steven (Robin) Vieth-Austin of Beloit, WI, Bruce (Robin) Austin of Frederick, MD, Elizabeth (David) McNair of Land-O-Lakes, WI, James (Pattye) Austin of Grady, NM; 15 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; uncle, Lester Witt of Beloit, WI; first wife, Virginia and beloved pets, Punky and Toby.

The family would like to thank the Beloit Memorial Hospital Home Health Service and Hospice Care Inc. of Janesville for the loving care they provided during his illness.

He was predeceased by his parents, Mathew and Mildred, brother, Donald, great grandchild, Ashley Austin Ellis.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 18, 2005 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church with Reverend Gail Abbott officiating. Inurnment will be held at St. Joseph Chapel of Arimathea Columbarium with Military Rites accorded by the V.F.W. Post 2306. There will be no visitation. Daley-Murphy-Wisch & Associates Funeral Home, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI 53511 assisted the family with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.

Milford E. “Andy” Anderson, 60 of South Beloit, IL died Thursday, January 27, 2005, after a courageous battle with cancer, at home surrounded by his family and friends.

He was born July 29, 1944 in Richland Center, WI, the son of Milford W. and Evelyn Marie Mercer Anderson. Andy was a 1962 graduate of South Beloit High School. He married Barbara Olson on April 3, 1965 at Faith Lutheran Church in South Beloit, IL.

Andy worked at Sedigs in South Beloit, IL and then for over forty years at Hanson Equipment Company, now known as Accra General Products in South Beloit, IL, as a welder. He was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church. Andy enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing, car shows, his 65’ Fastback Mustang and his brand new truck that he was crazy about.

Survivors include his loving wife of 39 years, Barbara; children, Jolene (Robert) Reinart of Beloit, WI, Bradley (Samatha) Anderson of South Beloit, IL, Tami (Mark) Rand of Beloit, WI; grandchildren, Nicholas and Taelor Reinart, Grant and Emily Anderson, Gannon and Brady Rand; mother, Evelyn Marie Anderson of South, Beloit, IL; sister, Elena (George) Thomas of South Beloit, IL; brother, Richard Anderson of Beloit, WI; sisters-in-law, Anne (Clifton) McGraw of Scottsdale, AZ and Janice (Scott) Snippen of Beloit, WI; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many special friends.

He was predeceased by his father, infant sister, Jolene Anderson and special companion Chaz.

“His family was the most important thing in his life. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.”

Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 1, 2005 at Faith Lutheran Church, 1305 Blackhawk Blvd., South Beloit, IL with Reverend Jay Quinn officiating. Burial will be held at Rockton Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Daley-Murphy-Wisch & Associates Funeral Home, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI 53511. Visitation will also be Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. until time of service at the church.

Mae E. Amerson, 85, of Beloit, WI, died Tuesday, July 13, 2004 in Beloit Memorial Hospital.

She was born on May 3, 1919 in Winnebago County, Illinois, the daughter of Einar and Inga Hansen Erickson. Mae was a graduate of Beloit High School. She married Alvin Amerson on November 27, 1946 in Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. He predeceased her on November 18, 1975.

Mae enjoyed reading and loved animals especially cats. She was a lifetime member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her son, Ron (Le) Amerson of Sun Prairie, WI; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sister, Pearle Erickson of Clinton, WI; sister-in-law, Virginia Erickson of Beloit, WI; nephew, James (Cathy) Erickson of Beloit, WI; cousins, Mary (Bob) Newport and Anna Ralston all of Belvidere, IL; other relatives and friends.

She was predeceased by her son, Richard Amerson, parents and brother, Les Erickson.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 17, 2004 in the Daley-Murphy-Wisch & Associates Funeral Home, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, with the Reverend Jennifer Jelinek officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services Saturday in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial in her name will be established at a later date.

Irene G. Anderson, 82, of Beloit, WI, died Saturday, June 19, 2004 in her home.

She was born April 15, 1922 in Avon, WI, the daughter of Fred and Gladys Eicher Weber. Irene graduated from Brodhead High School. She married Glenn R. “Andy” Anderson on December 13, 1945 in Superior, WI. He predeceased her on October 2, 1998.

Irene was employed by Bostwicks Women Apparel, retiring in 1981. After her retirement, Irene worked at the Fairfield Inn until her illness. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her children, Connie (Rod) Meade of Roscoe, IL, Barney (Linda) Anderson and Debbie Fingerhut both of Beloit, WI; six grandchildren, Heather (Ron) Dobnick, Matt Meade, Kristopher Anderson, Kate Anderson, Tim Fingerhut and Sarah Brown; four great grandchildren, Shane, Kaytlyn, Jessika and Maddy Dobnick.

She was predeceased by her parents, infant sister Marjorie and sister, Marie Freitag.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 24, 2004 in the Daley-Murphy-Wisch & Associates Funeral Home, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, with the Reverend Jo Bierer officiating. Burial will be in Newark Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services Thursday in the funeral home.

A memorial will be established in her name.

Kevin Roy Aney, 39, of Janesville, WI, died Friday, May 21, 2004 in his home.

He was born May 31, 1964 in Beloit, WI, the son of Robert W. and Nancy M. Cain Aney. Kevin was a 1982 graduate of Parker High School in Janesville, WI. He served in the United States Air Force from 1982 until 1986. Kevin married Melanie K. Ingram on December 28, 1985 in Tampa, FL.

Kevin was employed by Lear Seating in Janesville, WI as a seat technician. He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #197 in Janesville, WI, and the ATV Club. Kevin enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, ATV’s, and ice fishing. He also coached Afton Little League.

Survivors include his loving wife, Melanie; son, Joshua A. (Tiera Branch) Aney of Tampa, FL; unborn grandson, Kevin Aney; his mother, Nancy Aney of Beloit, WI; brother, Shawn (Lorri) Aney of Janesville, WI; aunts, Joan Topham of Beloit, WI, Thelma (Don) Hurst of Tarzana, CA, Nina (Al) Kosak of Beloit, WI, Peggy Vandervort of South Beloit, IL, and Sharon (Tom) Burns of FL; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was predeceased by his father, sister, Robin W. Aney, maternal and paternal grandparents.

Funeral services will be 4:00 p.m. Friday, May 28, 2004 in the Daley-Murphy-Wisch & Associates Funeral Home, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, with the Reverend Gene Van Galder officiating. Burial will be in Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. until time of services Friday in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in his name to the American Cancer Society.

Pastor Curtis Allen Sr., 72, of Beloit, WI, went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 3, 2004 in Beloit Memorial Hospital.

He was born February 3, 1932 in Neelyville, MO, the son of Clifford and Maecattie Haynes Allen. Curtis was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He married Helen Harden on January 12, 1957 in Harviell, MO.

Curtis was employed by Chrysler Corporation in Belvidere, IL, retiring on July 31, 1992. He was the founding pastor of Providence Missionary Baptist Church. Curtis was a member of the Local UAW #1268, 32nd Degree Mason, past master, commander and chief of the W.B. Kennedy Lodge #3 F& A.M., and past patron of the Rebecca Chapter #4 Order of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Helen Allen of Beloit, WI; four children, Curtis (Aviance) Allen, Judy (Robert) Tucker both of Beloit, WI, Regina Babbitt of Chicago, IL and Cynthia Allen of Beloit, WI; adopted children, Rashad Whitby, Alvino Rogers and Reverend Betty (James) Bartlow; 68 foster children; 18 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; three brothers, Andrew Allen of Popular Bluff, MO, Ray Allen of Venice, IL and Bill Green of Popular Bluff, MO; one sister, Ethel Brunch of Venice, IL; adopted sister, Jesse Adams; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was predeceased by his parents, brother, James Haynes, two sisters, Joanne Vance and Anita Herd, grandson, Maurice Tucker and one nephew, Larry Darnell Hall.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 7, 2004 in the New Zion Missionary Baptist Church 1905 S. Mound Avenue, Beloit, WI, with Pastor Charles F. Hereford officiating and Pastor Robert Dansbury co-officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery with Military Rites. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the Daley-Murphy-Wisch & Associates Funeral Home, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, with the Order of the Eastern Star Service and Masonic Rites. Visitation will also be from 12:00 p.m. until the time of services Friday in the Church.

A memorial will be established at a later in his name.

Isabelle Aiello, 97, of Loves Park, IL, died Friday, January 9, 2004 in Alden Park Strathmoor, Rockford, IL.

She was born on December 5, 1906 in Marsala, Sicily, the daughter of John and Ida Falco Pizzolato. Isabelle married Salvatore Aiello on October 9, 1924 in St. Paul’s Catholic Church. He predeceased her on November 25, 1973. Isabelle was employed by Dallman Hardware and Stateline Liquors.

Survivors include her two daughters, Nancy Aiello of Loves Park, IL and Rose Pastore of Rockford, IL; six grandchildren, Rocco (Sandy) Pastore of Roscoe, IL, Vicki (Brian) Haase of Rockton, IL, Mary Beth (Doug) Erickson of Lake Geneva, WI, Joseph Mannino of Roscoe, IL, Debbie (Andrew) Renaud of Roscoe, IL and Lisa (Giacomo) Parisi of Machesney Park, IL; ten great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; one sister, Catherine Zin of Oxford, CA.
neices and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, four sisters and two brothers.

Funeral services will be 12 noon, Thursday, January 15, 2004 in the Daley-Murphy-Wisch & Associates Funeral Home, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, with Fr. Gary Krahenbuhl officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Beloit, WI. There will be no visitation.

Isabelles’ family would like to thank the doctors, Community Care of Rockford and the staff of Alden Park Strathmoor for their loving care. The families would also like to thank Nancy for taking care of Isabelle for 14 years.
