Bruno M. Froebel, 79, of Beloit, WI, died Saturday, January 31, 2004 in Premier Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing.

He was born May 27, 1924 in Beloit, WI, the son of Max and Gertrude Marx Froebel. Bruno married Devota J. Courtney on April 16, 1949 in Beloit, WI.

As a young man Bruno worked with his father in the shipyards of California. He returned to Beloit, WI with his father to plumb and build houses. Later he went to work for Warner Electric for more then 20 years, retiring in 1986. Bruno was a collector of coins and arrowheads. He attended Chicago Art School.

Survivors include his wife, Devota of Beloit, WI; an aunt, Margaret Chotoff of Marshfield, WI; sisters-in-law, Venida Murray and Beverly Lloyd both of Beloit, WI; nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by his parents.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 3, 2004 in the Daley-Murphy-Wisch & Associates Funeral Home, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, with the Reverend Ian Stirrat officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. There will be no visitation.

Doris M. 'Tootie' Fosbinder, 89, of Beloit, WI, was unexpectedly taken from us on Friday, December 26, 2003 in Beloit Memorial Hospital.

She was born September 23, 1914 in Cazenovia, WI, the daughter of Walter and Eva Stevens Van Wormer. Tootie married Hubert L. Fosbinder on December 14, 1940 in St. Jude Catholic Church.

Tootie was employed for 26 years and the first women hired by Besley Wells. In 1959 until her retirement in 1975 Tootie and her husband were owners of Courtesy cleaners. She was a member of the Elks Club and a lifelong member of the South Beloit American Legion Auxiliary.

Survivors include her loving husband of 63 years, Hubert; one brother, Archie (Shirley) Van Wormer of Gatlinburg, TN; one sister, Marjorie Carlson of Pompano Beach, FL; nieces and nephews, Beverly (Floyd) Jenneman, Gary (Joann) Van Wormer, Bill (Linda) Carlson, Dennis Van Wormer, Pam Martin, Terence Van Wormer, and Steve Van Wormer; numerous great nieces and nephews.

Tootie was a loving, devoted wife, and will be deeply missed by all.

She was predeceased by her parents, one sister, Dorothy Moreland, two brothers, Tom Van Wormer and Gerald Van Wormer, and a nephew, Jamie Van Wormer.

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 31, 2003 in St. Thomas Catholic Church with Fr. Jim Kuhn officiating. Burial will be in Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens, South Beloit, IL. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Daley-Murphy-Wisch & Associates Funeral Home, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, with the Rosary at 5:00 p.m. There will also be visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services Wednesday in the church.

Memorials may be given in her name to St. Thomas Catholic Church.

Cynthia D. Finnegan, 55, of Beloit, WI, died Wednesday, December 24, 2003 in the William S. Middleton VA Hospital, Madison, WI.

Cindy was born August 30, 1948 in Hartford, Connecticut, the daughter of Vernon and Dorothy Griswold Smith. She married Timothy Finnegan on September 20, 1974 in Fairbanks Alaska.

Cindy earned her bachelors degree in nursing from Walter Reed Army Medical Center. She later received a master's degree in psychology. Cynthia retired at the rank of Major from the U.S. Army in 1986. She was a very active Veterans Affairs volunteer. She was an active member of the local and national chapters of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Griswold Family Association, Daughters of the American Revolution, WRAIN, Paralyzed Veterans Association, Disabled American Veterans and the American Legion out east.

She was predeceased by her father Vernon Smith, sister Doreen Marino and father-in-law, Cyril Finnegan.

Survivors include her husband of 29 years, Timothy Finnegan of Crofton, MD; two children, Shawn Finnegan of Madison, WI and Jennifer Finnegan of Beloit, WI; her mother, Dorothy Smith of Niantic, CT; one brother, Rexford (Kathy) Smith of East Amherst, NY; one sister, Marilyn Simeone of Princeton, NJ; mother-in-law, Barbara Finnegan, brothers-in-law, Thomas (Christine) Finnegan of San Francisco, CA, Jerry (Betty) Finnegan of Boise, ID, Dennis (Noris) Finnegan of Beloit, WI, Mark (Darlene) Finnegan of Beloit, WI, John (Kimberly) Finnegan of Beloit, WI and Patrick Finnegan of Madison, WI; sister-in-law, Carol (Roy) Pisetsky of Cotati, CA; nieces and nephews including her god child, Fay Simeone; great nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service, with a reception following, will be held in Beloit, WI at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 17, 2004 in St. Paul's Episcopal Church with Fr. George Razee and Reverend Gale Abbott officiating. Internment will be held in Arlington National Cemetery in the spring. Daley-Murphy-Wisch & Associates Funeral Home, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, assisted the family with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society or the Veterans Affairs.

Daryl L. Fenrick, 60, of Roscoe, IL, died Sunday, November 2, 2003 in St. Anthony Medical Center, Rockford, IL.

Born May 30, 1943 in Janesville, WI., Daryl was the son of Elmer and Mildred Sigglekow Fenrick. He was a 1961 graduate of Craig High School, Janesville, WI. He served as a member of the National Guard. Daryl married Sharyl J. Koppernolle on August 20, 1966 in St. John's Lutheran Church, Janesville, WI.

Daryl was owner and operator of Salamone's until it's closing. He subsequently was employed by Colonial Baking Company and most currently at Hilander Foods. Daryl loved his family and sharing time with them. He enjoyed holidays, boating, his yellow car and was an avid Packer fan.

Survivors include his wife, Sharyl; two children, Dennis Fenrick of Green Bay, WI and Kathy Jo (Steve) Uslabar of Appleton, WI; two grandsons, Henry and Ethan; brother, Robert (Sue) Fenrick of Janesville, WI; sister, Ruth (Richard) Pratt of Lake Geneva, WI; father-in-law, John Koppernolle of Janesville, WI; sister-in-law, Devra (Wade) Debel of Shelby Township, MI; nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 6, 2003 in the Cross & Crown Lutheran Church, 7404 Elevator Road, Roscoe, IL, with the Reverend John Heins officiating. Burial will be in Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens, South Beloit, IL. Visitation will be from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Daley-Murphy-Wisch & Associates Funeral Home, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI.

Memorials may be given in his name to Cross & Crown Lutheran Church.

Cleo M. Frederick, 84, formerly of Beloit, WI died Friday, September 19, 2003 in Divine Savior Healthcare, Portage, WI.

She was born April 2, 1919 in Rockford, IL, the daughter of Harry and Cora Cooper. Cleo was a 1937 graduate of Central High School in Rockford, IL. She married Franklyn L. Frederick on December 2, 1938 in Iowa. He predeceased her on March 12, 2000.

Cleo was a homemaker and a member of The Rock Assembly of God, Janesville, WI. She was also a member of the Women's Civic League in Portage, WI.

Survivors include her son, James (Pam) Frederick of Janesville, WI; three grandchildren, James Frederick of Beloit, WI, Tracy Frederick of Madison, WI, and Jennifer Frederick of Madison, WI; one brother, Harry (Karen) Cooper Jr. of Oregon; one sister-in-law, Naomi Holmes of McMinneville, OR, one brother-in-law, Glenn Mackey of Scottsdale, AZ ; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, two sisters, Opal and Peggy, and one brother Gilbert.

Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 23, 2003 at Willwood Memorial Park, 3814 Auburn St. Rockford, Illinois with Pastor Reggie Ballard of Rock Assembly of God officiating. Daley-Murphy-Wisch & Associates Funeral Home, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, assisted the family with arrangements.

MARY JOYCE FOLYER, 69, of Sharon, WI, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 23, 2003 in her home.

She was born June 26, 1934 in Rockford, IL, the daughter of Harley and Alice Miller Lyford. Mary was a 1952 graduate of Hononegah High School. She was employed by and retired from Isley's in Walworth, WI. Mary praised the Lord at the United Methodist Church in Sharon, WI.

Survivors include her children, Debra (David) Barsness of Rockford, IL, Roger Folyer of Wytheville, TN, Andrew Folyer of Carbondale, IL, Michael Folyer of Sharon, WI, Patricia (Bill) Hoyt of Huxley, IA, James (Brenda) Folyer of Clinton, WI, and Cynthia Folyer of Wytheville, TN; 12 grandchildren and great grandchildren; her mother, Alice Lyford of Beloit, WI; three brothers, Richard (Audrey) Lyford of Roscoe, IL, William (Pat) Lyford of Billings, MT and Bill (Mavis) Evans of Rome, WI; one sister, Marilyn (David) Dunn of Fort worth, TX.

She was predeceased by her father.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 28, 2003 in the Daley-Murphy-Wisch & Associates Funeral Home, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, with Pastor Jorge Mayorga officiating. Burial will be in Roscoe Cemetery. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until the time of services Monday in the funeral home.

JEANICE C. FORRESTAL, 79, of Beloit, WI, died Thursday, June 12, 2003 in Beloit Memorial Hospital.

She was born September 24, 1923 in Champaign, IL, the daughter of Hayden and Lela Martin Musson. Jeanice lost her first husband Reed Lewis in WWII. She later married James Forrestal on October 11, 1944 in the chapel at Chaute Field Military Base in Rantoul, IL.

Jeanice was employed by Caravilla and Beloit Memorial Hospital. She also assisted her husband with running his various businesses. She was a former member of Sweet Adelines. Jeanice enjoyed music, dancing, and traveling. she was a loving and devoted wife and mother. Jeanice was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, James; ten children, Carol Fisher, Diane Kulick both of Madison, WI, Robert M. (Cindy Frees) Forrestal of Janesville, WI, John (Pat) Forrestal of Rockton, IL, Joe (Lynn) Forrestal of Janesville, WI, James (Debra) Forrestal of Madison, WI, Darice (Matt) Clark of Michigan, Keven (Lydia) Forrestal of Riverside, CA, Brian Forrestal, and Barbara Dutcher both of Beloit, WI; 20 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; one sister, Marge (Robert) Moody of N. Ft. Meyers, FL; one brother, Merle (Lucy) Musson of Missouri; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents.

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 18, 2003 in the St. Jude Catholic Church with Fr. Thomas Fitzgerald officiating. Entombment will be in Mt.Olivet Mausoleum, Janesville, WI. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the Daley-Murphy-Wisch & Associates Funeral Home, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, with a scripture service at 6:00 p.m.

DAVID W. FOERSTER, 54, of Beloit, WI, died Sunday, May 18, 2003 in Beloit Memorial Hospital.

He was born October 1, 1948 in Chicago, IL, the son of Fred W. and Eleanor Iverson Foerster. David married Betty Kunkel on May 6, 2000 in Messiah Evangelical Lutheran Church, Beloit, WI.

David was employed by Waste Management for 30 years. He loved to camp, fish and golf. David was an avid bowler and played in various leagues in Beloit and Roscoe. He was a member of Messiah Evangelical Lutheran Church where he was an elder.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Foerster of Beloit, WI; son, Brian Foerster of Colorado; daughter, Gail Foerster of Janesville, WI and granddaughter, Mynissa; daughter, Katrena Kunkel of Beloit, WI; son, Richard Kunkel of Beloit, WI; grandchildren, Jordan, Justin, and Joshua O'Brien and Richard Kunkel Jr.; his mother, Eleanor Foerster; two brothers, Edward (Sue) Foerster of Rockton, IL, and Richard (Mary) Foerster of Rockford, IL; three sisters, Sharon (Don) Bourdeau of Waukegan, IL, Louise (Donald) Newton of Lake Placid, FL; and Cindy (James) Baker of Hanover Park, IL; over 100 nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins; uncle, Dick (Eleanor) Iverson of Park Ridge, IL; aunt, Eleanor 'Noni' Foerster of West Field, WI.

He was predeceased by his father, Fred W. Foerster, infant son, Robert E. Foerster, aunts and uncles.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 22, 2003 in Messiah Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1531 Townline Ave, Beloit, WI, with Pastor Dennis Pingel officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Daley-Murphy-Wisch & Associates Funeral Home, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI.

Memorials may be given in his name to the Messiah Evangelical Lutheran Church designated for the fund for the Delavan Church for the deaf and blind.
