Lisa J. Kelley, 34, of Beloit, WI, died Saturday, October 9, 2004 in Beloit Memorial Hospital after a 4 year courageous battle with brain cancer.

She was born on August 22, 1970 in Beloit, WI, the daughter of Robert M. and Mary F. Skipper Paul. Lisa was a 1988 graduate of Beloit Memorial High School. She married Jason Kelley on June 2, 2001 in Beloit, WI.

Lisa was employed by O' Leary Law Office in Janesville for 10 years and the Rock County 911 Center. She was a volunteer at Robinson School and was a member of the PTSA board at Robinson. Lisa was member of the Rock Valley Chapel.

Survivors include her husband, Jason C. Kelley of Beloit, WI; son, Kolton James Kelley at home; her parents, Robert M. and Mary Paul of Beloit, WI; sister, Mary (Ginger) Fitzgerald of Beloit, WI; brother, Jeff Paul of Hayward, WI; in-laws, James and Carole Kelley of Beloit, WI; numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Lisa was a loving daughter, wife, mother and best friend.

She was predeceased by her grandparents.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 13, 2004 in the Rock Valley Chapel, 2780 Shopiere Road, Beloit, WI, with the Reverend Greg James officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI.

Memorials may be given to Kolton's education fund.

Chester Kowalczyk, 92, of Clinton, WI, died Tuesday, August 10, 2004 in Beloit Memorial Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

He was born July 20, 1912 in Krwony, Poland. He served in the Polish Army during World War II, where he was captured and sent to work on a farm. There he met Anna Luhowja and they married in 1945 in Germany. Chester immigrated to the United States on October 4, 1951, where he settled in Beloit, WI, for most of his life.

Chester was employed by Walsh Farms, Beloit Memorial Hospital, Douggan Dairy and retired from Beloit Corporation in July of 1977. He was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church. Chester enjoyed playing the Accordion and Violin and spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed.

Survivors include his four children, Helen (Jim) Nehls of Beloit, WI, Stanley (Bev) Kowalczyk of Clinton, WI, John (Denise) Kowalczyk of River Falls, WI and Mary (Brian) Browning of Stoughton, WI, 10 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; ex-wife, Anna of Beloit, WI and two sisters in Poland.

He was predeceased by his parents and two sisters

Memorial Service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 13, 2004 at the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI with Fr. James Kuhn officiating. A private family burial will be held at a later date.

Memorials may be given in his name to the Clinton Paramedic Team.

Chester Kowalczyk, 92, of Clinton, WI, died Tuesday, August 10, 2004 in Beloit Memorial Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Mary Evelyn Boelter Kampka, 86, of Beloit, WI, died Saturday, July 31, 2004 in Premier Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Facility.

She was born January 21, 1918 in Hartford, WI, the daughter of Otto and Emily Coley Boelter. Mary was a 1937 graduate of Washington High School in Milwaukee, WI. She married Lawrence 'Larry' Kampka on November 5, 1943 in Milwaukee, WI. He predeceased her on January 17, 1998.

Mary worked for The Milwaukee Company in the Beloit office as a Secretary until her retirement in 1984. She was formerly active at the First United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, Past Secretary of the Memorial Fund, and a member of Leah Circle. She was a former member of: Westside Fortnightly Club, Beloit Homemakers Club, Beloit Federation of Women, Wisconsin Federation of Women's Club, Meals on Wheels volunteer, Brownie Troop Leader, member of several bridge clubs, avid reader and follower of current events. Mary traveled throughout the United States, taking a trip in 2000 to Europe, visiting London, Paris, and Rome. She kept an extensive recipe collection and enjoyed exploring new restaurants. Mary had a quick wit and dry sense of humor.

Survivors include her children, John (fiancée, Linda Hamill) Kampka of Madison, WI, Denise Kampka of Fond du Lac, WI, and Alan (Kathy) Kampka of Frisco, TX, Mary F. Kampka of Sun Prairie, WI, (mother of Kate and Michael); her grandchildren, Kate (Mike) Fravert of Pardeeville, WI, Michael Kampka of Pardeeville, WI, Jennifer (fiancé, Mike Moody) Kampka of Warren, MI, Jeremy (Shannon) Bernhart Of Clarksville, TN, Justin (Angela) Herren of St. Louis, MO, Jackie (Phil) Rainey of St. Louis, MO; great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Shyann and Lane Bernhart, Drew Herren, Isabella and Samuel Rainey, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, brother and sister-in-laws.

She was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence, parents, Otto and Emily Coley Boelter, brother, Aaron Boelter, sisters, Jean Stone and Betty Garske.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 6, 2004 at the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI with Reverend Ian Stirrat officiating. Burial will be in Pinelawn Memorial Park in Milwaukee, WI. Visitation will be 4:00 to8:00 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.

A memorial will be established at a later date.

John Kerwin, 91, of Beloit, WI, died Sunday, June 27, 2004 in Premier Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing.

He was born June 13, 1913 in Beloit, WI, the son of Tom and Ora Williams Kerwin. John was a 1934 graduate of Beloit High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the 136 Field Artillery H.Q. Battery, stationed in the Philippines Boganville, Guadal Canal. John married Annetta E. Quackenbush on October 16, 1941 in Beloit, WI. She predeceased him on January 9, 1998.

John was a Pepsi distributor before entering the service in 1941. He later was employed by Beloit Corporation as the assistant chief inspector, retiring in 1975. John was an avid golfer and loved to bowl. He was a member of the 1932 Beloit High School basketball championship team. John was also a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his sons, William (Elizabeth) Kerwin of Beloit, WI and Terry Kerwin of Whitehall, WI; two grandchildren, Scott Kerwin and Debra Kerwin both of Beloit, WI; four great grandchildren, Nichole Kerwin, Paige Kerwin, Alec Podrasky and Hayden Pearson all of Beloit, WI; nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents and sister, Audrey Fields.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 1, 2004 in the Daley-Murphy-Wisch & Associates Funeral Home, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, with the Reverend Gene Van Galder officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery with Military Rites accorded by the V.F.W. Post 2306. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Visitation will also be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services Thursday in the funeral home.

Memorials may be given in his name to First Baptist Church.

Bernard J. Kobus, 93, of Hammond, WI and formerly of Beloit, WI, died Tuesday, April 13, 2004 in his daughter's home.

He was born April 2, 1911 in Chicago, IL, the son of Alexander and Adelia Zymkowski Kobus. Bernard married Josephine Pyrek on October 25, 1941 in Chicago, IL. She predeceased him on June 16, 1986.

Bernard was employed by Republic Meter Company, and co-owned LaClaire Restaurant and Hotel from 1946 until 1952. He also worked for Liberty Engineering in Roscoe and retired from Gardner Machine after many years. Bernard loved to read and work on small engine repairs for friends and family. He was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church for 57 years. Bernard belonged to the VIP volunteers at Beloit Memorial Hospital and the Golden Agers of Kiwanis for 16 years.

Survivors include his children, Anita (Duane) Voiles of Hammond, WI, Alan (Patricia) Kobus of West Allis, WI, and Gerald Kobus of Milwaukee, WI; three grandchildren, Jennifer (Troy) Roatch of Campbellsport, WI, Renee (Cory) Frasl of Wyoming, MN and John Kobus of Milwaukee, WI; two great grandchildren, Ryan Frasl and Nicole Roatch; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, two brothers, John Kobus and Vincent Kobus, four sisters, Harriet Vrablick, Jeanne Lewis, Clara Lamber and Helen Reinke.

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, April 17, 2004 in St. Jude Catholic Church with Fr. Steven Kortendick officiating. Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until the time of services Saturday in the church. Daley-Murphy-Wisch & Associates Funeral Home, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, assisted the family with arrangements.

Memorials may be given in his name to the VIP organizations of Beloit, Golden Agers of Kiwanis and the Hartland Home Network, Hospice Care.

Teri L. Knutson, 49, of Beloit, WI, died Sunday, April 11, 2004 in her home.

She was born July 18, 1954 in Beloit, WI, the daughter of Maurice and Beverly McNitt Bonaunet. Teri was a 1972 graduate of Orfordville Parkview. She married Robert V. Knutson Jr. on September 15, 1979 in Janesville, WI. Teri was a hair stylist for many years with her mother at the Golden Door and after her mother's passing she became the owner and operator of the Golden Door. She loved her family, friends, dogs and traveling.

Survivors include her husband, Robert of Beloit, WI; two sons, Zachary Knutson and Timothy Knutson both of Beloit, WI; her father, Maurice Bonaunet of Orfordville, WI; in-laws, Robert V. (Norma J.) Knutson Sr. of Janesville, WI; three aunts, Pat Johnson of Rockford, IL, Joni (Steve) Meyer of Delafield, WI and Kelly (Gene) LaPorte of Spooner, WI; one uncle, Roger (Janice) McNitt of Trego, WI.

She was predeceased by her mother.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 15, 2004 in the Daley-Murphy-Wisch & Associates Funeral Home, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, with the Reverend Mary Froiland officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.

A memorial in her name will be established.

Richard Herbert Kemman, 83, of Virginia Beach, VA and formerly of Beloit, WI, died Saturday, January 10, 2004 in Virginia Beach, VA.

He was born July 11, 1920 in Beloit, WI, the son of Herbert and Pearl Crider Kemman. Richard was a graduate of Beloit Memorial High School. He married Elizabeth Robertson on July 29, 1950 in the Second Congregational Church, Rockford, IL.

Richard was employed by Sears Roebuck And Company for 33 years, retiring in 1980. He was a member of the Pattern Makers League of North America, the American Philatelic Society and the First Congregational Church.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Kemman of Virginia Beach, VA; children, Holly Kemman of Beloit, WI, Heath (Teresa) Kemman of Virginia Beach, VA, and Herbert (Georgia Kay Henning) Kemman of Brodhead, WI; five grandchildren, Alex and Andrew Armstrong of Beloit, WI, Heather and Ryan Kemman of Virginia Beach, VA and Sunny Kemman of Beloit, WI; one brother, Roger 'Rye' (Shirley) Kemman of Beloit, WI; nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 17, 2004 in the Daley-Murphy-Wisch & Associates Funeral Home, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in his name to the American Alzheimer's Association.
