Albert Wells Jr., 71, of Beloit, WI, died Friday, March 4, 2005 in Beloit Memorial Hospital.

He was born February 2, 1932 in Paoli, IN, the son of Albert and Blanche Attaberry Wells, Sr. Albert married Lucie R. Rea in Rockford, IL.

Survivors include his close and loving family.

Funeral services will be private per Albert’s wishes in the Church of Christ, 2103 Roxbury Road, Janesville, WI. Burial will be in Plymouth Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, assisted the family with arrangements.

Irene E. Wilson, 85, of Cedar Crest Health Care Center and a former resident of Beloit, WI and South Beloit, IL, died Saturday, February 19, 2005 in Mercy Hospital, Janesville, WI.

Irene was born April 22, 1919 in Wausau, WI, the daughter of August and Libby Stasney Habeck She was employed by J.C. Penney as a telephone catalogue operator, retiring in 1968.

Irene was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church and a former member of the Calvary Ladies Quilting Circle and the Sand Castle Senior Center. She was an avid bingo player and loved to embroider and work cross word puzzles.

Survivors include her children, Gerald (Yvonne) Wilson of Beloit, WI, Larry (Gail) Wilson of Elkhorn, WI and Sandra (Harry) Stanford of Beloit, WI; her five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one brother, Raymond Habeck of Wausau, WI; two sisters, Ruth Trierweiler of Lawton, OK, and Nancy (John) Van Slyke of Rogers, MN; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, her grandson, brothers, Milton and Ernest (Ethel) Habeck; sisters Marion (Roland) Viertel, Shirley (George) Gauger; brother-in-law, Oliver Trierweiler; sister-in-law, Rita Habeck.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 23, 2005 in Calvary Lutheran Church with the Reverend Kurt Handrich officiating. Burial will be in Rockton Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 12:30 p.m. until time of services in the church. Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI assisted the family with the arrangements.

Lottie Mae Wilson departed her life on Saturday, February 12, 2005 in Beloit Memorial Hospital after a long illness.

She was born on November 22, 1918 in Pontotoc, MS, the daughter of Park and Vaughna Hancock Heard. She is a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church. She was employed at Beloit College for many years. She married Dossie Wilson on November 2, 1940 in Dubuque, IA. He predeceased her on April 18, 1980.

Survivors include her daughter, JoAnna Foster of Beloit, WI; four grandchildren, Jeffrey (Wendy) Foster of Minneapolis, MN, Carmen (Thomas) Quillins of Beloit, WI, Nochelle (Tommy) Davis of Milwaukee, WI and Novita (Byron) of Rockford, IL; 10 great grandchildren; one sister, Francis Straighter; one step sister, Onnie Bee Isabell; a host of nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, husband, one sister, Nettie B. Isabell, three brothers, Houston, Jerry and Harvey Heard.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 18, 2005 in the Emmanuel Baptist Church with the Reverend Dr. Floyd Prude Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens, South Beloit, IL. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until the time of services Friday in the church. Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, assisted the family with arrangements.

The sunrise of Donya M. Wilson, 28, of Racine, WI, was on February 10, 1976, her sunset was on Sunday, January 2, 2005 in St. Catherine Hospital, Kenosha, WI.

She was the daughter of Charles “Cairo” Ayers and Dia Wilson. Donya was a 1995 graduate of Beloit Memorial High School and was scheduled to graduate from Gateway Technical College, Racine, WI, in May of 2005 with a degree in Human Relations.

Donya was employed by Windpoint School as a nurse’s assistant, the Gap and was a counselor at Safe Haven in Racine, WI. She enjoyed life and loved everybody.

Survivors include her parents, Charles “Cairo” (Peggy) Ayers of Beloit, WI, and Dia (Alan) Wilson of Racine, WI; three sisters, Candace Hamilton of Racine, WI, Kayla Burner of Beloit, WI and Cairessee Ayers of Schaumburg, IL; four brothers, Diangelo (Shannon) Wilson, Chaz Champion, Andre William all of Beloit, WI and Herbert W. Hamilton Jr. of Racine, WI; grandmother, Clotie Ayers; godmother, Brenda Venturinni; special cousin, Tamiko; special aunts, Lynn and Danita; a host of aunts, uncles, great aunts, great uncles, nieces, nephews, numerous other relatives and friends that Donya loved very much and held a special place in her heart.

She was predeceased by grandparents, David and Mildred Wilson Sr., grandfather, Robert Ayers, aunt, Donya Wilson and Catherine Vaughn, uncles, Daryl Wilson, Bobby Gene Ayers and Robert Ayers Jr.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, January 7, 2005 in the Lighthouse fellowship Church 112 Merrill Street, Beloit, WI, with Pastor Sherrick G. Anderson officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until the time of services Friday in the church. Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, assisted the family with arrangements.

Memorials may be given in her name to the family.

Hazel Wixom, 87, of Beloit, WI, died Tuesday, December 21, 2004 at Premier Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Facility.

She was born June 20, 1917 in Garden Prairie, IL the daughter of Herman and Amelia Kuntzman Koch. Hazel was employed as the Business Manager for a family business for 20 years. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and was a member of the Senior Choir. Hazel loved music, both playing instruments and listening to it. She enjoyed gardening, taking care of her yard and playing cards with friends at Grinnell Senior Center.

Survivors include her sisters, Mildred Schroeder of Freeport, IL, and Gertrude “Trudy” Swanson of Belvidere, IL; brother, Floyd (Jane) Koch of Belvidere, IL; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents; two sisters, Dorothy Koch and Laura Curtis; two brothers, Edward and Gordon Koch.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 24, 2004 in the Daley-Murphy-Wisch & Associates Funeral Home, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, with the Reverend Edward May officiating. Burial will be in the Shrine of Memories Mausoleum, Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens, South Beloit, IL. Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. until the time of services Friday in the funeral home.

Memorials may be given in her name to Beloit Regional Hospice or Trinity Lutheran Church.

Judi M.Williams, 63, of Beloit, WI, died Monday, December 20, 2004 at her daughter’s home.

She was born June 23, 1941 in Wabasha, MN, the daughter of Marvin and Lois Rheingans Feehan. After graduating from High School she went on to graduate from Winona State College. Judi married Gerald Williams on June 20, 1964 in Wabasha, MN. He predeceased her on October 23, 2003.

Judi was employed at Beloit Catholic High School and Brother Dutton as a Physical Education Instructor. Most recently she was employed by Suds O’Hanahan’s Irish Pub. She was a member of the St. Thomas Catholic Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Kristin (John) Harris of Beloit, WI; her son, Michael (Lynda) Williams of Brodhead, WI; grandchildren, Melissa, Nikolas, Alex, Kennedy, Brent, Mackenzie and Callie Mae.

She was predeceased by her parents, and infant brother, James Michael Feehan.

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2004 in St. Thomas Catholic Church with Father Jim Kuhn officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Thabor Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday in the Daley-Murphy-Wisch & Associates Funeral Home, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI 53511 with the Rosary at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will also be Tuesday from 10:00 until time of the services in the Church.

Bernard Wrezinski, 81, of Beloit, WI, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 10, 2004 in St. Joseph’s Hospital, Bloomington, IL.

A Beloit resident since 1942 was born on March 28, 1923 in Wisconsin Dells, WI, the son of A. Paul and Irene Evans Wrezinski. Bernard attended Davis Corners School in Wisconsin Dells. He was a WWII U.S. Army veteran serving in the 37th Infantry Division, Company L. Bernard was awarded four battle stars and also a Bronze Star for meritorious service in connection with military operations in Luzon. He also served in Bougainville and Guadalcanal. Bernard married Harriet Pawlowski in 1945 and had two children. He later married Gertrude Harum on September 2, 1961 in Trinity Lutheran Church. She predeceased him on December 4, 1993.

Bernard was employed by Fairbanks Morse Company and Beloit Corporation for 25 years, retiring in 1985. He has lived the past year at his son’s home in Bloomington, IL. Bernard attended Rock Valley Chapel.

Survivors include his children, Bernie (Beth) Wrezinski of Bloomington, IL and Joyce (Jeff) Neubauer of Beloit, WI; four grandsons, Tyler Wrezinski, Brady Wrezinski, Josh (Jessica) Neubauer and Andy Neubauer; one great granddaughter, Adeline Grace Neubauer; two sisters, twin sister, Bernda Stevens of Thorp, WI and Florence Snamiske of Cudahy, WI; several relatives and many friends.

“Barney” as he was affectionately known by many, was a kindhearted father and friend. He will always be remembered for his cheerful disposition and love for people. He was a blessing to be with and to know.

He was predeceased by his parents and brother, George.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 18, 2004 in the Rock Valley Chapel with the Reverend Greg James officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services Saturday in the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in his name to the Rock Valley Chapel, to be used for the Youth Group Missions trip to Mexico.

Robert C. “Ollie” Webster, 76, of Waterloo, WI, died Sunday, December 5, 2004 in Fort Atkinson Health and Rehab Center.

He was born on August 24, 1928 in Reedsburg, WI, the son of Lester and Irene Webster. Robert was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He married Betty Whitmore and later married Betty Wagner. Robert was employed by ALCOHAB Rehab Incorporated in Janesville, WI.

Survivors include his two children, Martha Webster-Gilbert and Mike Webster both of Beloit, WI; grandchildren; three sisters, Betty “Storlie” Boyle of Rockton, IL, Joyce (Herbert) West of Beloit, WI and Kathleen (Donald) Mills of Roscoe, IL; sister-in-law, Joanne Webster; several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, brother, Lester Webster and sister, Joanne Webster.

Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 10, 2004 in Mt. Thabor Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI.

Barbara Cance Wagner Woodke, 72, of Beloit, WI, died Wednesday, November 24, 2004 in Beloit Memorial Hospital.

She was born on November 26, 1931 in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of Clay Seachrest and Gladys Fern Cance Wagner. Barbara was a graduate of the University of Missouri where she was a member of the Delta Delta Delta sorority. After graduation she went to work as a market researcher for Proctor & Gamble and the S.O.S. Company. Barbara married Bernard Otto Woodke on December 27, 1958 in Sterling, IL. They lived in Cohasset, MA, Cos Cob, CT, Bloomfield Hills, MI, Riverwoods, IL and moved to the Beloit area in 1978.

Barbara was a member of the Intermediate Women’s Club, Tuesday Review, The Coterie, Daughters of the American Revolution, the Beloit Alumnae Chapter of Delta Delta Delta, Beloit Historical Society, Wisconsin Historical Society, Rock County Genealogical Society, German Interest Group and the British Interest Group of Wisconsin and Illinois. She was a former member and president of the North Mianus Garden Club of Greenwich, CT.

Survivors include her son, James Robert (Margaret) Woodke of Antioch, IL; two granddaughters, Becky and Kelsey; one sister, Verna (Blair) Stringfellow of Florida; two brothers-in-law, Wyman (Nona Jean) Woodke of Omaha, NE and Samuel (Ruth) Woodke of Fairbanks, AK; sister-in-law, Mrs. Evelyn Stotler of Oregon.

She was predeceased by her parents and husband.

Interment will be in Pine Cliff Cemetery, Galesville, WI at a later date. Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, assisted the family with arrangements.

Memorials may be given in her name to the Beloit Memorial Hospital Foundation.
