Cecelia B. Rose, 90
Cecelia B. Rose, nee Leopoldt, of Jackson, died Tuesday, March 2, 2000, at St. Joseph's Community Hospital, West Bend, at the age of 90.
She was born March 26, 1909, in Washington County to the late Reinhold and Anne (nee Pfennig) Leopoldt, and married Harvey Rose Sr. on July 21, 1930, in Waukegan, Ill.
Following her husband's retirement, the couple moved to Princeton, where she lived until returning to Washington County in 1973.
He passed away March 28, 1970.
She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church.
Survivors include four children, Harvey Jr. (Mary Ann) and Gordon (Carole), both of Jackson, Ronald (Darlene) of Brownsville and Betty Limbach of Slinger; a son-in-law, Ralph (Jan) Engelhardt of Jackson; 20 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death were a daughter, Joyce Engelhardt; a grandson, Russel Scott; a son-in-law, Michael Limbach; a sister, Lorraine Owens; and two brothers, Edward and Richard.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 6, at 7 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church, Jackson, with Rev. William Gruenstern officiating. Burial will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Mayfield Cemetery, town of Polk (Mayfield).
Visitation at the church only will be Monday from 4 to 6:45 p.m.
Memorials may be given to the charity of the donor's choice.
The Schmidt Funeral Home, Jackson is serving the family.

Eleanor M. Dornacker, 84
Eleanor M. Dornacker, nee Ritger, a lifelong resident of the town of Addison, died Wednesday, March 1, 2000, at the Mapledale Manor, Kewaskum, at the age of 84.
She was born Sept. 10, 1915, in the town of Addison, to the late Alfons and Mary (nee Weninger) Ritger.
After her marriage to George B. Dornacker at St. Matthias Catholic Church in Nabob on June 9, 1936, she assisted her husband in operating the family homestead farm until retiring in 1973.
Her husband passed away on Nov. 29, 1989.
Eleanor became a resident at Mapledale Manor in September, 1999.
Survivors include four children, Leo (Patricia) of Nabob, Carol (Marvin) Hamm of Slinger, Ruth (Thomas) Jansen of West Bend and Ralph (Arleen) of Nabob; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Olive Dricken of West Bend, Rose Wild of Hartford, Florence Ritger of West Bend and Sr. Lorraine Marie Ritger, O.S.F. of Milwaukee; three brothers, Leo (Rose) of West Bend, Raymond of Mountain, and Roman (Elaine) of West Bend; sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law; other relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death were a daughter, June; two grandchildren, Joseph Hamm and Sheri Lynn Jansen, and a brother, Walter.
Eleanor was a member of the Christian Women's Confraternity and The Daughters of Isabella, Santa Marie Circle 269.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 4, at 9:45 a.m. at the Schmidt Funeral Home, West Bend, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at St. Matthias Chapel in Nabob. Rev. Al Van Beek will be the presider, and burial will follow in St. Matthias Cemetery.
Visitation at the funeral home will be Friday after 4 p.m., with a prayer vigil at 8 p.m., and on Saturday morning prior to the service.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff at Mapledale Manor for the loving care they gave to our mother over the past six months.

Marion M. Boettcher
Marion M. Boettcher, nee Mayer, of West Bend, died Thursday, March 2, 2000, at St. Luke's Medical Center, Milwaukee, at the age of 69.
She was born Jan. 14, 1931, in Johnsonville, to the late Ervan and Caroline (nee Schroeder) Mayer, and married James Boettcher on May 23, 1953, in Batavia.
Marion worked at The West Bend Co. for several years, and was also an insurance agent for Royal Neighbors of America for many years.
She was an active member of Immanuel United Church of Christ, West Bend.
Survivors include her husband; five children, Barbara (Randy) Heil of Grafton, Daniel of Waukesha, Judy (Carl) Degnitz of Fillmore, Jody (Gary) Schmidt of Campbellsport and David (Pam) of Kewaskum; 11 grandchildren, Christopher Degnitz, Casey Degnitz, Charlie Degnitz, Douglas Schmidt, Brian Schmidt, Melanie Schmidt, Gwen Boettcher, Brianne Boettcher, Adrianne Boettcher, Benjamin Boettcher and Joshua Boettcher; two sisters, LaVerne (Leonard) Faas of Plymouth and Melvina Guenther of Sheboygan; other relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death was a brother, Wallace.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 6, at 11 a.m. at Immanuel United Church of Christ, West Bend. Rev. James Eckblad will officiate, and burial will follow in Washington County Memorial Park, West Bend.
Visitation at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home, West Bend, will be Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m., and at the church on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of services.
Memorials to the American Diabetes Association, American Heart Association or the American Kidney Foundation are appreciated.

Mark A. Taft, 34
Mark A. Taft of West Bend, died Monday, March 6, 2000, at St. Luke's Medical Center, Milwaukee, at the age of 34.
He was born April 30, 1965, in Milwaukee, to Allen and Nancy (nee Kroening) Taft.
At the time of his death, Mark had been employed at Walters Buildings in Allenton for the past two years.
He was a member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church, where hs sang in the choir, served as an usher, participated on the dartball, softball and golf teams, and served on the long-range planning committee. He was also active in bowling and country line dancing.
Survivors include his parents, Al and Nancy Taft of Kewaskum; a brother, Scott of Clyman; a sister, Betty Taft of West Bend; a nephew, David Taft of Hartford; aunts; uncles; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 10, at 11 a.m. at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, West Bend. Rev. Bryan O'Connor will officiate, and cremation will take place at Valhalla Memorial Park, Milwaukee.
Visitation at the Schmidt Funeral Home, West Bend, will be Thursday, from 4 to 8 p.m., and at the church on Friday from 10 to 10:45 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated.

Phyllis R. Steltz, 59
Phyllis R. Steltz, nee Koehler, of Hartford, passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2000, at Community Memorial Hospital, Menomonee Falls, at the age of 59.
She was born June 29, 1940, in Milwaukee, to the late Henry and Leona (nee Youngbluth) Koehler, and married Allan Steltz on July 3, 1981, in St. Lawrence.
She was a nursing assistant at Hartford Memorial Hospital for the past eight years, and was employed by Washington County in the Community Health Department for seven years. She also worked for Chrysler for a few years.
Phyllis worked at St. Luke's Hospital, Milwaukee, as a phlebotomist for 15 years, and prior to that she was a radio operator in Alaska.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Larry of Okauchee; a brother, Thomas of Milwaukee; her mother-in-law, Irene Steltz of Hartford; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; nieces; nephews and other relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death were her father-in-law, Lawrence, and two sisters, Muriel Mixdorf and Jeanne Vass.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 9 at 7:30 p.m. at the Shimon Funeral home, Hartford, with interment in Pleasant Hill cemetery.
Visitation at the funeral home will be Thursday from 4 to 7:30 p.m.

Clinton J. "Clinty" Schwickert, 18
Clinton J. "Clinty" Schwickert, 18, of Hartford, passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2000.
He was born Feb. 17, 1982, in Hartford, to James and Rose (nee Pauli) Schwickert, and at the time of his death was enrolled at Moraine Park Technical College.
Survivors include his parents, James and Rose of Hartford; a brother, James Marshall Schwickert IV of Fort Charleston, S.C.; aunts; uncles; cousins; other relatives and friends.
Preceding him in death were his maternal and paternal grandparents, and an uncle, Art Nelson.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, March 9 at 10 a.m. at St. Kilian's Church, Hartford., with Father Michael Petrie officiating.
Visitation at the Shimon Funeral Home, Hartford, will be Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m., with a prayer vigil at 7:45 p.m.

James Franklin Dibble, 69
James Franklin Dibble, 69, of Slinger, was born to eternal life on Saturday, March 4, 2000, at Menomonee Falls Health Care Center.
A long-time resident of Slinger, he was born June 18, 1930, to the late Nina Grace Osborn Dibble and Harvey Dibble.
He retired from the Perlick Co. in 1992.
He was the beloved husband of the late Margaret Dibble; loving father of Rick (Mary) of San Ramon, Calif., Linda Braun of West Bend, Michelle (Steve) Bucholtz of Slinger and Beatty (Richie) Brown of Mequon; the proud grandfather of Lisa, Jason, Stephanie, Jessica and Matthew; dear brother of William, Luella Spaulding and the late Harley. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends.
He will be fondly missed and remembered for his love of family and his music.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday, March 8 at the Feerick Funeral Home, 2025 E. Capitol Drive, Shorewood.
A gathering will be held at 6 p.m., followed by the service at 7 p.m.
