Delores Dandois Pigott
Delores Sylvia Pigott, 95, died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2002, of natural causes at a retirement home in St. Petersburg, Fla. Delores was born Oct. 11, 1906, in Green Bay to the late Frank and Mary Evrard Dandois. For a number of years, she was a private secretary at the Northern Paper Mills before going to work at the War Department in Washington, D.C., and upon retirement in 1964, they settled in St. Petersburg. She is survived by nieces, Merrilla Fiedler Hannon, Green Bay, Peg Dandois Wente, Rochester, Minn., Jeanne Roche, Rockville, Md., and nephew, John Richard Dandois, Bethesda, Md. She was preceded in death by her husband on Sept. 9, 1965, and a niece, Joanne Dandois Grant, in 1998. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Green Bay, at a later date.

Barbara Ann Pamperin
Barbara Ann Pamperin, 65, Village of Howard, died unexpectedly Thursday, Feb. 28, 2002. Barbara was the wife of William L. Pamperin. The family will receive friends at the Pfotenhauer Funeral Home West, 1145 Cardinal Lane, Howard, on Sunday from 4 until 8 p.m. Parish prayer 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. Monday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers and other expressions of sympathy the family has established a memorial fund in Barbara's name at the funeral home. A complete obituary will follow.

Mrs. Ernest Ella Ottum
Mrs. Ernest Ella Ottum, 98, died Monday, Feb. 25, 2002, at a local nursing home. She was born Nov. 26, 1903, to John and Ella Schaper McCall in Mellette, S.D. She married Ernest Ottum in 1925; he preceded her in death in 1954. Survivors include one son, Dr. John Ottum, Green Bay; six grandchildren, Bradley Colleen, Green Bay, Jeffrey Barbara, Green Bay, Douglas Suzanne Eau Claire, Gregory Geralyn Eden Prarie, Minn., Cathryn Keith Quinn, Bloomington, Minn., and Steven Susan Idaho Falls, Idaho. Friends may call Friday from 3:30 to 4 p.m. at Lyndahl Funeral Home, Lombardi Avenue and Ridge Road where the funeral service will take place at 4 p.m. with the Rev. Stan Lillich officiating.

Felix J. Nuthals
Felix J. Nuthals, 78, Green Bay, died unexpectedly Monday, Feb. 11, 2002, at a local hospital from complications of surgery. He was born Oct. 12, 1923, in Green Bay to the late Victor and Jennie Vander Wegen Nuthals. Felix graduated from Green Bay West High School. He then served his country with the U.S. Army during World War II. On July 11, 1942, he married Lucille Van Enkenvoort in Green Bay. She preceded him in death on June 10, 1981. Felix was employed at Hoberg-Charmin Paper Co., now Procter & Gamble, as a Millwright for 43 years until his retirement in 1987. He was a past member of the P.G. Golf League and various bowling leagues. Felix was currently a member of the Senior Old Timers and the Tuesday Morning Seniors Bowling League at Riviera Lanes, the Good Sam Club-Bay Sammers, and the River Road Runners Snowmobile Club. Felix was also a member of the American Legion Sullivan-Wallen Post #11 and was a lifetime member of Annunciation Parish. Some of his favorite times were with his children and grandchildren. He loved snowmobiling, deer hunting and times at the cabin up north. He also enjoyed the Packers, Brenda Lee songs and jellybeans. Survivors include eight children and their spouses, Cheryl Earl McGregor, Jean Jim Miller, Jerry Chris Nuthals, Tom Lynn Nuthals, Bob Karen Nuthals, Carol Nuthals and fiancé, Jeff Targaczewski, Laura Nuthals, Nancy Mike Osmanski, all of Green Bay; 21 grandchildren and their spouses, Sean Kris McGregor, Kristi McGregor, Jennie Ted McGregor, David Janet Miller, Jeff Tricia Miller, Jessica Jeff Buzaitis, Bob Danyelle Nuthals, Rick and Beth Nuthals, Mike, Paul, Kym and Pam Nuthals, Holly and Brian Nuthals, Jamie and Tyler Targaczewski, Tiffany Nuthals, Chelsey, Chad and Chance Felix Osmanski, all of Green Bay; six great-grandchildren, Jessica Pecor, Maggie McGregor, Mackenzie and Sydney Miller, Kelsey and Cole Nuthals, all of Green Bay; five sisters and one brother-in-law, Marie Bohm, Arizona; Margaret Harold Krumpos, Alice McLeod, Vicki Lutzow, Cecelia Anderson, all of Green Bay; a special friend, Dottie Scheuerell; and his special canine companion, Hunter. He is preceded in death by his wife, Lucille; his parents; his son, Richard; and a great-granddaughter, Kayla. Visitation will continue at 9:30 a.m. today at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., until the procession leaves for the church. American Legion Memorial Service will be held at 9:45 a.m. at the funeral home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Annunciation Catholic Church, 401 Gray St., with the Rev. Ron Belitz officiating. Burial will be in Fort Howard Memorial Park. The Nuthals family would like to express their gratitude to all of the nurses on the eighth floor at St. Vincent Hospital, who assisted in his care. A special thanks also to the staff and nurses at the Royce Lin Dialysis Center. A memorial fund has been established in his memory.

Sandra M. Moutrie
Sandra M. Moutrie, 51, Green Bay died Wednesday March 13, 2002, at a local hospital. She was born Feb. 4, 1951, in Green Bay to the late Vernon and Margaret E. Eger Moutrie. In 1969, she graduated from Green Bay West High School. She did a variety of different jobs, including cleaning for families in Green Bay and was a care provider for two Jewish families in Milwaukee. She had a love for animals and had also worked at the Animal Shelter in Green Bay. Sandra cared for many animals in her own home. Many of these animals were mistreated and people would bring them to Sandra to care for. Sandra was a very loving person. She was a longtime member of Seventh Day Adventist Church in Green Bay. Survivors include a brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Lucinda McMonagle, De Pere, a sister, Dede, and her husband, Green Bay, and an aunt, Dorothy Noel, of Green Bay. She was preceded in death by her parents, an aunt and an uncle. Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave. from 4-7 p.m. Sunday. Friends may also call at Seventh Day Adventist Church, 1414 Shawano Ave. from 1-2 p.m. Monday. The Funeral Service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the church with Pastor Delmar E. Austin officiating. Burial will be in Fort Howard Memorial Park.

Mize, Mrs. Helen E.
Helen E. Mize, 82, formerly of Wood River, Illinois, died peacefully in the company of her family at her home in Green Bay on March 17 of colon cancer. She was born on October 20, 1919 in Marine, Illinois to James W. and Alma Prott Ellison. She married Charles J. Mize on July 31, 1943 in Wood River, Illinois. Her preceded her in death on June 13, 1977. She was employed as a secretary and administrative assistant by the law practice of Charles Courtney Ellison, the Olin Corporation, the Wood River Township Tax Collector, and the Guidance Office of East Alton-Wood River Community High School. She was a member of the Friends of the Wood River Public Library, Union Congregational Church and formerly a member of St. John United Church of Christ and the First Presbyterian Church, both of Wood River, Illinois. Helen enjoyed reading, knitting, traveling, antiques, family, friends, and all things Scottish and Irish. Helen is survived by her son, daughter-in-law and grandson; Charles E. Mize, Jeanie Bond and Joseph Jody Mize of Green Bay; her sister, Mary Ott of Wood River, Illinois; her brother, James Ellison of Bethalto, Illinois; nephews, nieces and friends. Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2002 at Union Congregational Church, 716 S. Madison St. A funeral service will follow at 6:30 p.m., with the Rev. Charles E. Mize and the Rev. M. Kay Krejci, officiating. Burial will be in the Upper Alton Cemetery in Alton, Illinois. Contributions in Helen’s memory may be made through the funeral home to the Wood River Public Library where a fund has been established in her name. The family expresses its heartfelt thanks to the physicians and staff of Green Bay Oncology, especially Dr. Jules Blank; to the ninth floor staff of St. Vincent Hospital; to Helen’s caregiver, Arleen Ambrose, who quickly became her dear friend; and to the staff of Unity Hospice for their tireless care, compassion and concern that blessed the last chapter of Helen’s earthly life with beauty and dignity. Schauer and Schumacher Funeral Home 432-4841 is assisting the family.

Scott R. Micolichek
Scott R. Micolichek Scott R. Micolichek, 38, Luxemburg, died unexpectedly Thursday evening, Feb. 14, 2002, of an apparent heart attack. He was born March 3, 1963, in Oconto Falls to Robert and Evelyn Fonder Micolichek. On July 19, 1984, Scott and Bonnie Belter were married in Green Bay. Scott was employed at Procter & Gamble Paper Products Co. for the past six years. He also was a part-time bartender for the Club Chalet Supper Club for 17 years. Survivors include his wife, Bonnie, and their three children, Eric Micolichek, Norfolk, Va., Amy and Ashley Micolichek, both at home; his parents, Robert and Evelyn Micolichek, Luxemburg; one sister, Lisa Jerome Baeten, Green Bay, and their children, Lindsay and Alex; his mother-in-law, Lois Belter, Luxemburg; five brothers-in-law and three sisters-in-law, Robert Patti Belter Jr., Green Bay, Bruce Pam Belter, Casco, Randy Sheri Belter, Howard, Rodney Belter, Ricky Belter, all of Luxemburg; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Robert Belter Sr. Friends may call at McMAHON FUNERAL HOME, LUXEMBURG, 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday. Visitation continues after 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Church, Champion. Prayer service 6:30 p.m. Sunday. Funeral 11 a.m. Monday at the church with the Rev. Milton Suess officiating. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery. The family wishes to offer a special word of 'Thanks' to the doctors and staff of St. Vincent Hospital, E.R., and ALL of Scott’s co-workers at P & G for their kindness and support at this time.

Sybil Marie Prue Meyers
Sybil Marie Prue Meyers, 87, Howard, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2002, at a local nursing home. The former Sybil Prue was born on Dec. 8, 1914, in Green Bay, to the late William and Elizabeth Grant Prue. On Feb. 24, 1948, she married Lee Meyers. He preceded her in death on Jan. 18, 1975. Sybil enjoyed her little birds; they were her companions. She also enjoyed china painting, flowers and playing cards. Survivors include her one brother, Virgil Prue, Green Bay; sisters, Valerie Johnstone, Dunnigan, Calif., Iris Robert Bush, Battle Creek, Mich., Darlene Harry Sadler, Green Bay; nieces, nephews and many special friends. Sybil was preceded in death by her husband, parents, stepmother, Esther; two sisters and six brothers. According to her wishes, there will be no visitation. Her body will be donated to Medical Science. The family would like to thank the staff at San Luis Medical and Rehabilitation for the kind and caring service given to Sybil.
