Shirley W. Wendelborn, 74
Shirley W. Wendelborn, nee Koch, 74, of West Bend, died Tuesday,June 6, 2000, at St. Joseph's Community Hospital.
She was born April 9, 1926, in the town of Scott in Sheboygan County, to the late Rolland and Corrall (nee Romaine) Koch.
As a child her family moved to the West Bend area. Following her graduation from West Bend High School, she worked briefly at the Gehl Co. before moving to Milwaukee and working at the former First Wisconsin as a bookkeeper.
After her marriage to Eugene B. Wendelborn on June 7, 1947, at Holy Angels Church, West Bend, the couple settled in West Bend.
Shirley was a long-time member of Fifth Avenue United Methodist Church, West Bend.
Survivors include her husband; three children, Robert (Bonnie) and Kathryn Wendelborn, both of West Bend, and William (Colleen) of South Bend, Ind.; five grandchildren, Lisa (Gregory) Garstka, Andrew, Amy, Mark and Caitlin; two great-grandchildren, Jason and Nicholas Garstka; a sister, Muriel (Raymond) Hadfield of Glendale; her mother-in-law, Louise Wendelborn of West Bend; a brother-in-law, Donald (LaVerne) Wendelborn of Clintonville; three sisters-in-law, Audrey Brumm and Carol (Floyd) Potter, both of West Bend, and Noraleen (Marvin) Gutterman of Brooklyn, N.Y.; nieces; nephews; and other relatives and friends.
Services will be held privately with no visitation. Burial will take place in Holy Angels Cemetery.
The family would prefer memorials to Fifth Avenue United Methodist Church, the Cancer Care Center at St. Joseph's Community Hospital, or to the charity of the donor's choice.
The Schmidt Funeral Home, West Bend, is serving the family.

Marjorie A. Schlaefer, 71
Marjorie A. Schlaefer, nee Thill, 71, of Campbellsport, died Tuesday, June 6, 2000, at St. Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lac.
She was born Nov. 15, 1928, in Elmore, to the late Clarence and Mildred (Sabish) Thill, and married Dr. Anthony Schlaefer on Sept. 12, 1951, at St. Bridget's Catholic Church, Kewaskum.
She was a member of St. Matthew's Catholic Church, Campbellsport, the Christian Women's Society and the Mission Sewing Circle.
Marjorie was also a member of the Calvary Parents Guild, the Campbellsport Homemakers and was active with the Loaves and Fishes Program in Fond du Lac.
Survivors include her husband; a son, David (Bridget) of Campbellsport; four daughters, Dr. Ann (David) Wright of Campbellsport, Paula Schlaefer of Fond du Lac, Joan (Brian) Wuest of Campbellsport and Carol Schlaefer of Stevens Point; seven grandchildren, Dorothy, Bridget, Maxwell, Mitchell, Cadie, Matthew and Meg; a sister-in-law, Janice Thill of Kewaskum; an aunt, Dorothy Kral of Kewaskum; a special friend, Anna Wagner of Campbellsport; other relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death was a brother, Allen.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, June 9, at 7 p.m. at St. Matthew's Catholic Church, Campbellsport. Rev. Francis Malloy and Rev. Donald Berg will officiate, and burial will be Saturday in the parish cemetery.
Visitation at the church will be Friday from 4 p.m. until the time of services.
The Twohig Funeral Home, Campbellsport is serving the family.

June Weeks, 73
A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church in Grafton for June Weeks, 73, who died on May 31, 2000. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Rev. Jerome Petersen will officiate at the ceremony, with arrangements handled by Mueller Funeral Home, Grafton. Burial will be at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield.
Mrs Weeks was born July 5, 1926 in Milwaukee, daughter of Arthur and Isabell (nee Miller) Wolff. She married Elmer Weeks and worked as an accountant. She was a charter member of Northwest Toastmasters, charter member and club sponsor of Northshore Badgers Toastmasters, current member of Ozaukee 3210, and Resource Advance Toastmasters. While serving in these clubs she held the positions of club president, club treasurer, Sgt. at arms, district treasurer, district governor and area governor. She was the first woman to receive the Distinguished Toastmaster Award. She was a very active member of Grace Lutheran Church. She was also the first program coordinator for Interfaith Caregivers of Ozaukee County for the Cedarburg/Grafton area. She matched volunteers with frail older adults and disabled persons who had need for services that allowed them to remain in their home. She had been serving on the Board of Directors as the church coordinator of Grace Lutheran Church in Grafton.
Survivors include: daughter Christine (Julian) Danielly, Atlanta, Ga.; son James (Wendy) Weeks, Grafton; sister Shirley (Mort) Roseman, Northridge, Calif.; grandchildren Daniel Weeks, Grafton, Eric Weeks, Milwaukee, James Ryan Weeks, Grafton.
Memorials to Grace Lutheran Church are appreciated.

Richard M. Murphy, 86
Richard M. Murphy. 86, of West Bend, died Friday, June 9, 2000 at the Samaritan Health Center.
He was born June 13, 1913 in Oconto to the late James and Mary (Packard) Murphy and was married to Hildegarde M. Godek on July 27, 1934 in Waukegan, Ill.
The resided in Milwaukee and he was employed at International Harvester.
During World War II, Richard served in the U.S. Army in the Pacific Theater and was awarded the Purple Heart.
After the war, he returned to Milwaukee and his job.
On Nov. 27, 1957, he was married to Janet Giguere in Waukegan, Ill. They resided in Milwaukee until moving to West Bend in 1972. Richard was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.
He enjoyed playing cards and traveling.
He is survived by his wife Janet; one daughter Patricia L. (Willard) Mueller of West Bend; four grandchildren: Willard (Ruth) Mueller Jr., Spencer (Laura) Mueller, Kelly (Tom) Rohlinger and Abbe Duenkel, all of West Bend; eight great-grandchildren, Lindsey and Daniel Mueller, Michael and Abbie Mueller, Matthew, Adam, Ryan and Bria Rohlinger. Other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by four sisters, six brothers and a grandson-in-law, Michael Duenkel.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, June 12, 2000 at 12 noon at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. Father Michael Petersen will preside and burial will follow in Washington County Memorial Park.
Visitation will be Monday at the church only from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass.
The Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home of West Bend is assisting the family.

Olive Riebe Lohmann Donelan, 84
A funeral service was held for Olive Riebe Lohmann Donelan, 84, who died on May 28, 2000.
She was born in Cedarburg and moved to Kissimmee, Fla. in 1980. She worked as a homemaker, and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Kissimmee, the Ladies of the Moose and the National Grandmothers Club.
Survivors include: daughters Susan Lohmann of Kissimmee, Fla. and Christine Becker of Weston, Mass.; sons Jerry Lohmann of Bellglade, Fla. and Peter Lohmann of Citrus, Fla.; 11 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
Arrangements were handled by Grissom Funeral Home and Crematory, Kissimmee, Fla.

Hilda B. L. Strack, 89
Hilda Bertha Lydia Strack, nee Kressin, of Columbus, formerly of Germantown, died Saturday, June 10, 2000, at Columbus Community Hospital, at the age of 89.
She was born July 8, 1910, in the town of Jackson, to the late William and Louisa (Prahl) Kressin, and married Clarence Strack on June 16, 1932, in the town of Jackson. He passed away on Dec. 21, 1993.
She worked as a homemaker, and attended Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church (West Mequon).
Survivors include a son, Rev. Kenneth (Charlotte) of Tecumseh, Mich.; two daughters, Lois (Lewis) White of Columbus and Eunice (Mel) Heckendorf of Jackson; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Viola Butzke and Florence Wiese, both of West Bend; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 15, at 11 a.m. at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church (West Mequon). Rev. Ken Kolberg will officiate and burial will be in Trinity Ev. Lutheran West Cemetery, Mequon.
Visitation at the Mueller Funeral Home, Cedarburg, will be Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m., and Thursday at the church from 10 to 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers memorials to WELS Committee on Relief, Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School of Jackson, Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church (West Mequon) or Zion Lutheran Church of Columbus, are appreciated.

Jacob William Matson, infant
God's Littlest Angel, Jacob William Matson, of Kewaskum, was chosen by God on June 8, 2000 at St. Joseph's Community Hospital, West Bend.
Survivors include his parents, Kenneth and Jenny Matson of Kewaskum; maternal grandparents, Alex and Jeanne Kaye of Campbellsport; paternal grandparents, Linda and Gordon Sloan of Brookfield and George Matson of Sun Prairie; paternal great-grandparents, Bill and Marilyn Steffen of Brookfield and Charolette Matson of Sussex; aunts; uncles; cousins and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Monday, June 12, at 7 p.m. at the Phillip Funeral Home of West Bend, with Pastor Frank Bauman of Our Saviors' Lutheran Church officiating. Cremation will take place at Parkview Crematory, Fond du Lac.
Visitation at the funeral home will be Monday from 6 to 7 p.m.

Carl W. Ciriacks, 82
Carl W. Ciriacks, 82, of West Bend, died Saturday, June 10, 2000, at the Samaritan Health Center.
He was born March 3, 1918, in Jackson, to the late Herman and Adela (Krueger) Ciriacks, and married Geraldine Kaschner on Aug. 26, 1942, in Wisconsin.
He worked as a dairy farmer all his life, and was a life-long member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Pleasant Valley Road, West Bend, and was active on many church boards.
Survivors include his wife; four sons, Ronald (Mary), James (Tonya) and Gerald, all of West Bend, and Larry (Sandee) of Wausau; a brother, Arthur (Louise) of West Bend; a sister, Bernice (Walley) Viesselmann of Grafton; grandchildren, Douglas (Kim) Ciriacks of Milwaukee, Debra (Jeremy) Glowicki of Portland, Maine, Dawn (Chris) Theroux of West Bend, Nicole (Shane) La Barge of Kaukauna, Scott (Tina) Ciriacks of Rosemount, Minn., and Jami Ciriacks, Chanda Ciriacks and Jason Ciriacks, all of West Bend; five great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 14, at 2 p.m. at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church. Rev. Kenneth Schmidt will officiate, and burial will be in Trinity Ev. Lutheran Cemetery, West Bend.
Visitation at the church only will be Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials of the donor's choice are appreciated.
