Elizabeth I. Repinski
Elizabeth I. Repinski, nee Parlow, 70, of the town of Jackson died on Tuesday, July 30, 2002, at St. Joseph's Community Hospital, West Bend.
She was born on Aug. 3, 1931, in Milwaukee to the late Frank and Marie (nee Truog) Parlow, attended grade school in Milwaukee and graduated from Messmer High School in 1949.
After her marriage to John A. Repinski on Sept. 23, 1950 in Milwaukee, she became employed at Brady Corp. where she worked for over 23 years. She then worked at Universal Strap Co. in Jackson.
In 1977 she and her husband settled in the town of Jackson.
Survivors include her husband; five children, Donna Friday (friend James Griffin) of Campbellsport, John (Karen) of Milwaukee, David (Nance) of Fond du Lac, Sandy Repinski (friend Tom Paulowske) of Milwaukee and Matthew (friend Tami Maeder) of Jackson; two sisters, Sr. Juliette Parlow of Henderson, Nev. and Jenny (Ron) Bies of Westminster, Colo.; other relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death was a sister, Frances Repinski.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, Aug. 2, at 11 a.m. at the Schmidt Funeral Home, Jackson.
Fr. Gerald Brittain of Holy Angels Catholic Church, West Bend, will officiate, and burial of the cremated remains will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Milwaukee.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of the services.

Margaret Luehring
Margaret Luehring, nee Seefeldt, 98, of Mayville, died Sunday, July 30, 2000, at the Mayville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born Feb. 25, 1902, in the town of Herman, to the late August and Johanna (Borchardt) Seefeldt, and married William Luehring on Sept. 25, 1942, in the town of Herman. He preceded her in death.
She was employed as a primary grade school teacher, and was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church (River Church), town of Theresa, the church choir, and the Immanuel Lutheran Church Ladies Aid.
Survivors include two children, Janet (Harley) Reabe of Green Lake and Warren (Sharon) of Madison; a stepson, Paul (Charlotte) Luehring of Beaver Falls, Pa.; a brother, Gerhard (Anna) of Hartford; three sisters-in-law, Flora Seefeldt of Grafton, Eleanor Seefeldt of Waukesha and Paula Seefeldt of Sun Prairie; three grandchildren; a great-grandchild; several step-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death were three sisters and four brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 4, at Immanuel Lutheran Church (River Church), town of Theresa.
Rev. Eldor J. Harmann will officiate, and burial will be in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, town of Theresa.
Visitation at the church only will be Friday from 2 to 4 p.m.
Memorials may be directed to Immanuel Lutheran Church (River Church).
The Koepsell Funeral Home, Mayville, is serving the family.

John W. Sutinen
A funeral service was held on Tuesday at Saints Peter and Paul Lutheran Church in Hancock, Mich. for former Grafton resident John W. Sutinen, 73, who died July 28, 2000 following a battle with cancer. The Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Hancock, Mich. assisted the family with arrangements.
Mr. Sutinen was born April 14, 1927 in Hancock, Mich., son of Frank and Flora Sutinen. He married Beatrice Kuru on Feb. 24, 1951. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Mr. Sutinen worked as a former production manager for Kurz & Root Co. in Cedarburg and later was employed as a quality control inspector for Power Products.
Survivors include: wife Beatrice Sutinen of Houghton, Mich.; daughter Suzanne Schmalz of Port Washington; sons Peter (Mary) Sutinen of Grafton, Kurt (Holly) Sutinen of Saukville, Gregory (Julie) Sutinen of Saukville.
Further survived by 10 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, 2 sisters, 2 brothers, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Warren A. Knorr
Funeral services were held in Arkansas for Warren A. Knorr, 78, who died July 21, 2000 in Bella Vista, Ark.
Mr. Knorr was president of W.A. Knorr & Co., S.C., a CPA firm in Cedarburg until his retirement in 1984. He was a founder and director of the Ozaukee Bank and a former member of the Cedarburg-Grafton Rotary Club.
Survivors include: wife Joan Knorr of Bella Vista, Ark.; sons Jeffrey (Marian) Knorr of Cedarburg, Thomas Knorr of Deerfield; grandchildren James Knorr of Chicago and Sarah Knorr of Cedarburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Ozaukee Bank Scholarship Fund are appreciated.

James Fritsche, DDS, 70
James Fritsche, DDS, 70, of Big Cedar Lake, died Monday, July 31, 2000, at St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee.
He was born Dec. 22, 1929, in Milwaukee, to the late Clarence and Marie (nee Schneider) Fritsche, and married Gertrude Catania on June 23, 1953, in Milwaukee.
Jim was the best friend and devoted husband of Gertrude; perfect father to Dr. Claire (Dr. David Olson) Fritsche of Whitefish Bay, Dana (Mike) Kasprzak of Greenfield, Dr. Monica (Kurt) Bischoff of Brown Deer, James (Sally) Fritsche of Connecticut and Meg (Joe) Jansky of Whitefish Bay; wonderful Papa Jim to 12 devoted grandchildren and dear brother of Catherine (Richard) Bramm, Charles (Joyce) Fritsche and Clarence (Pat) Fritsche. He is also survived by a multitude of friends.
Preceding him in death were two brothers, Jude and Peter.
Jim was involved in numerous activities which included professional dental associations, lake and local organizations, military and social memberships.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, Aug. 3 at 7 p.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Slinger. Rev. Robert Bales will be the presider, and private interment will be at 9 a.m. on Friday in the new St. Peter's Cemetery.
Visitation at the church only will be Thursday from 5 p.m. until the time of services.
The Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home, West Bend, is serving the family.
Dr. James Fritsche will want to be remembered for his love of life. He was a very kind man.

Paul J. Steger
Paul J. Steger, 57, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2004 at his home in Brownsville after a courageous, five-year battle with cancer.
He was born in the town of Theresa to Leonard (Olive Weber) Steger on Aug. 22, 1946, and attended Mayville High School.
He married Elaine C. Rettler on May 22, 1965.
He drove truck for many years for Widmer Cheese Factory, West Bend Elevator, Dairyland Seed Co., and for the last 27 years he drove for Sysco Food Services.
He had 19 years of safe driving for Sysco and then became a dispatcher for his last eight years of employment.
Paul loved his family, hunting, fishing, camping, and traveling.
He was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Lomira, and coached Little League baseball in Theresa.
Paul participated in the Sysco, State, and twice (1988-St. Louis, 1992-Nashville) in the National Truck Driving Competitions.
He was past vice president and president of the Wisconsin Association of Truck Driving Champions, and was driver of the month for the State of Wisconsin n April of 1993.
When he no longer participated as a driver, he was a judge in the Sysco and State competitions.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Elaine; four children, Barb (Ryan) Liebert of Lomira, Bonnie (Jim) Narance of Fond du Lac, Brenda (Hugo) Rodriguez of Lomira and Paul (Stacey) Steger Jr. of Sheboygan; eight grandchildren, Katie and Mike Liebert, Samantha and Olivia Narance, Tony and Maria Rodriguez and Amya and Hunter Steger; his mother, Olive Steger of Theresa; two sisters, Margie (Robert) Giese of Theresa, and Mary Ann (Tom) Hechimovich of Hartford; two sisters-in-law, Jeanette (Jerry) Downing of Reedsburg and Bernice Rettler of West Bend; nieces; nephews; many other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard Steger; a brother, Ray Steger, and his parents-in-law, Leo and Asella (Baier) Rettler.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, Aug. 5, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Lomira.
Rev. Kevin Kowalske will officiate, and interment will immediately follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Visitation at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel of West Bend will be on Wednesday from 4 to 8p.m., with a prayer vigil at 7:30 p.m.
A continued visitation will be on Thursday at St. Mary’s Church from 10 to 11:15 a.m.

Daniel E. Masters
Daniel E. Masters of Hartford passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2000 at the Hartford Care Center. He was 82 years old.
He was born in Milwaukee on Jan. 6, 1918 to William H. and Margaret Mary (nee Coakley) Masters. He married Dorothy Maichle on July 6, 1940 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Pewaukee.
Daniel was a member of the Courtney-Carr-Milner American Legion Post #19, Hartford VFW Post #8834, St. Mary's of the Hill, Holy Hill Parish and Hartford Senior Friends.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Dorothy; two daughters, Mauvourneen "Marti" (Richard) Roter of Germantown and Sheila (Glenn) Galica of Buckeye, Ariz.; three sons, William (fiancee Jacque) Masters of Hartford, Thomas Masters of Erin and James C. of Erin; nine grandchildren, Timothy (Dafina) Roter of Hartford, Glenn Galica Jr. of Buckeye, Ariz., Brian (Stephanie) Roter of Peotone, Ill., Shannon Galica of Buckeye, Ariz., Jamie (Doug) Kamin of Los Angeles, Cal., Jason Roter of Greenfield, Daniel E. Masters, Shane Masters and Owen Masters, all of Hartford; four great grandchildren, Phable, Alexis, and Henry Roter and Kayla Masters; two sisters, Louise Kaetel of Brookfield and Kathryn Paine of West Bend; a brother, Eugene (Patricia) Masters of Janesville; a brother-in-law, Carl (Ann) Mortensen of Delafield; and a sister-in-law, Terry Hanfler of Hartford. Daniel is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by three children, Kathleen, Daniel and John; and two brothers, Herbert and John.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Monday, July 31 at 7 p.m. at Holy Hill, Upper Church, with Father Cyril Guise officiating. Family greeted relatives and friends on Monday at the church only from 4 to 7 p.m. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery in Milwaukee.
Memorials to St. Mary's of the Hill, Holy Hill or the charity of one's choice.
Shimon Funeral Home assisted the family.

James A. Nehring
James A. Nehring of Colgate passed away at his residence on Thursday, July 27, 2000. He was 50 years old.
He was born in Galesville on Dec. 8, 1949 to parents Marshall and Nona (nee Letson) Nehring. He married Emily R. Christopherson on Aug. 6, 1972 in Whitehall.
James was raised in Trempealeau. He was a 1968 graduate of Trempealeau High School and later attended Winona State College, receiving a BS degree in Math. Furthering his education, he later received his masters degree in math at UW-Milwaukee. He was currently employed at Suburban Construction of Richfield as an expediter for the past three years. He was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church of Hubertus.
He is survived by his wife, Emily; four children, Marshall (Sarah) of Oshkosh, Matthew of Colgate, Mitchell (Fiancee Lori) of Oshkosh and Keith of Colgate; his mother, Nona Nehring of Trempealeau; two sisters, Janis (Thomas) Spier of Port Byron, Ill. and Ruth (Christopher) Koehn of West Bend; and one brother, Irvin (Nancy) of Byron, Minn. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Marshall.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, July 29 at 7 p.m. at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 1350 Highway 175, Hubertus, with Pastor Jay R. Thorson officiating. Visitation was held at the Phillip Funeral Home of West Bend from 3 to 6 p.m. with closing of the casket prayers at 6 p.m. at the funeral home followed by the funeral service at the church. Cremation took place at Parkview Cremations of Fond du Lac.
