Irene Josephine Richter
Irene Josephine Richter (nee Muellenbach) of Slinger passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2000 at home, with her family at her side.
She was 74 years old and was born in St. Cloud on April 4, 1926 to parents Frank and Clara (nee Grabb) Muellenbach. She married Richard L. Richter on Aug. 6, 1955.
Irene attended St. Joseph's Catholic School in St. Cloud. She resided in Milwaukee, Madison and, for the last 38 years, Slinger (Cedarlake Hills) where she raised her family. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church of Slinger.
She is survived by her husband, Richard; four children, Lisa (Rick) Beder of Campbellsport, Rick Richter of Slinger, Katie (Joseph) Wholean of Verona, and Julie (David) Yerges of McFarland; five very cherished grandchildren, Clair, Quinn, Devin, Hunter and Alexandra; and two sisters, Bernadette Fenton of Madison and Adeline Laudolff of Fond du Lac. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Frank Muellenbach of Palmyra; two sisters, Gloria Voelker of Sheboygan and Lorraine Greenaway of Miami, Fla. and niece, Judy Kuhn of Sheboygan.
A Memorial Mass will be on Saturday, Aug. 5 at 10 a.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church of Slinger with Fr. Robert J. Bales officiating. Visitation will be at the church only on Saturday from 9 to 10 a.m. Cremation will take place at Parkview Crematory, Fond du Lac with Interment of ashes at St. Peter's Cemetery, Slinger.
Memorials to St. Peter's Church or Kettle Moraine Oncology at St. Joseph’s Hospital of West Bend.
The Phillip Funeral Home of Slinger is assisting the family.
The family would like to thank Dr. Vukelich and the staff of Kettle Moraine Oncology and Lynn B. and Lauri B. of the Horizon Home Care and Hospice of Brown Deer.

James M. Zillmer
James M. Zillmer, 34, of West Bend, died Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2000, at St. Joseph's Community Hospital.
He was born Feb. 22, 1966, in Milwaukee, to Manly and Dora (nee Burns) Zillmer.
Jim was very active in Boy Scouts as a young man and earned the rank of Eagle Scout.
After graduating from Slinger High School in 1984, he attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison for three years.
An accomplished guitarist, he played at times with various groups in the area. His hobbies included collecting classic Volkswagens, sculpting and traveling.
For the past six years, Jim was employed at Unique Services in West Bend.
In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews.
Survivors include his parents, Manly and Dora of West Bend; three brothers, Stephen and Thomas, both of West Bend, and David (Sharyl) of Kewaskum; two sisters, Tammy (Daniel) Widhammer of Fruita, Colo. and Dawn (Jeffrey) Vorpahl of Kewaskum; nieces and nephews, Montana, Matthew and Michael Schicker, Autumn Vorpahl, Torin and Keenan Widhammer and Devin Zillmer; his pet dog, "Shakes," other relatives and friends.
Preceding him in death were a niece, Whitney Zillmer; his maternal grandparents, Fred and Lena Burns, and his paternal grandparents, Herman and Florence Zillmer.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Aug. 5, at 11 a.m. at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Slinger. Pastor Alan Lindberg will officiate, and burial will follow in Washington County Memorial Park, West Bend.
Visitation at the Schmidt Funeral Home, West Bend, will be Friday after 4 p.m., and on Saturday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of services.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to the Bay Lakes Council, Boy Scouts of America.

Kenneth G. "Kenny Mac" MacFarlane
Kenneth G. "Kenny Mac" MacFarlane, 42, of West Bend, passed away on Saturday, July 31, 2004 at St. Joseph’s Community Hospital.
He was born on Oct. 23, 1961 in West Bend to Kenneth and Betty Jean (Sonnenberg) MacFarlane and married Debra Ann Winters on Oct. 24, 1992 at Fifth Avenue United Methodist Church in West Bend.
Ken was a fun loving, gentle, kind-hearted, devoted husband and a proud father. His witty sense of humor touched everyone he met.
Ken’s spirit will live on forever in the lives of those he touched.
He was a member of Fifth Avenue United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Brady and Quentin MacFarlane; his father, Kenneth R. MacFarlane; his brother and best friend, Wesley (Karen) MacFarlane; a sister, Vickie (Gerald) Miller; other loving relatives and many friends.
His mother preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 3 at the Phillip Funeral Home, West Bend.
Sister Donna Siegl officiated, and private interment was on Wednesday in Washington County Memorial Park, West Bend.
Visitation at the funeral home was on Tuesday from 4 p.m. until the time of services.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are appreciated.
The family would like to express their deep gratitude to family members, friends and community members and caregivers.
A special thanks is extended to the loving support provided by both the Boucher Automotive Group and Country Inn and Suites by Carlson (The Wendel Group Inc.).

Hildegarde E. Claus
Hildegarde E. Claus, nee Braun 99, a resident of Cedar Bay in West Bend, died Thursday, Aug. 3, 2000, at St. Joseph's Community Hospital, just four months short of her 100th birthday.
She was born Dec. 17, 1900, in West Bend, to the late John and Alvina (nee Metzner) Braun, and married Oswald "O.C." Claus on Oct. 8, 1921, at the Evangelical and Reformed Church in West Bend.
Mr. Claus passed away June 15, 1978.
She lived in Fond du Lac for many years until moving to Cedar Ridge in West Bend in 1987.
Mrs. Claus was a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ, West Bend, a charter member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Fred A. Schaefer VFW Post 1393, Order of the Eastern Star West Bend Chapter 73, West Bend Women's Club and Book Review Club.
Her special interests were gardening, reading, opera and playing bridge.
Survivors include four children, Robert (Gayle) of West Bend, Ruth (Dr. John) Morrissey of Bend, Ore., Richard (Lois) of Mt. Dora, Fla. and Roger (Mary) of New Berlin; 12 grandchildren, Dr. Ann (Joe Abbott) Morrissey of Chico, Calif., Sara (Jeff) Gunn of Corvallis, Ore., Richard Claus II of Eau Claire, David (Gloria) Claus of North Fond du Lac, Mark Claus of Canyon Country, Calif., Stephen Claus of Las Vegas, Nev., Patricia (Tom) Bunce and Thomas Claus, both of Albuquerque, N.M., Robert D. Claus, Jennifer Zarr, Matthew Claus and Eric Claus, all of the Milwaukee area; 11 great-grandchildren; a sister, Meta Chase of West Bend; a daughter-in-law, Jeannette Claus of Albuquerque; a sister-in-law, Elmira Braun of West Bend; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death were a sister, Alma Wachs and two brothers, Marvin and Harold.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Aug. 8, at Immanuel United Church of Christ West Bend. A VFW Ladies Auxiliary service will be held at 1:45 p.m., with the funeral service at 2 p.m. Rev. Sharon Stier will officiate, and burial will follow in Washington County Memorial Park, West Bend.
Visitation at the church will be Tuesday from noon until the time of services.
Memorials to the Cedar Campus Foundation, Partners in Caring, or St. Joseph's Community Hospital of West Bend Hospice, are appreciated.
The Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home, West Bend, is serving the family.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Looze, Dr. Reineck, the nursing staff at St. Joseph's Community Hospital and Cedar Bay.

Michael P. "Mike" Krell
Michael P. "Mike" Krell, 47, of the town of Farmington died Saturday, Aug. 3, 2002 at St. Joseph]s Community Hospital of West Bend.
He was born to Alex and Vanelda (nee Herman) Krell on May 28, 1955 in West Bend. He married Linda M. Flint on June 15, 1991 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church of West Bend.
He was born and raised in West Bend. He was a graduate of Kewaskum High School with the class of 1973. After marriage, the couple lived in the town of Farmington. He was employed at Groth Construction of Jackson for more than eight years as a mason.
He enjoyed trap shooting at the Beechwood Sportsman’s Club, was an avid hunter, loved camping and enjoyed gardening.
He was a devoted husband and father. He was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, West Bend.
He is survived by his wife; one daughter, Amanda Breit of Farmington; three sisters, Carole (Tim) Coulter of Liberty, Mo., Karen (Ken) Theusch of Kewaskum and Linda (Tom) Gundrum of Reedsville; two brothers Ron (Mary) Krell of West Bend and John D. Krell of Jackson; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Aug. 5, 2002 at 7 p.m. at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church of West Bend with Pastor Oscar Kraft officiating. Interment will take place Tuesday, Aug. 6 at St. Peter’s Cemetery of Farmington at 10 a.m. Visitation will be at the church only on Monday from 4 p.m. until the time of service.
The Phillip Funeral Home of West Bend is assisting the family.

Leonard C. Meyer, 83
Leonard C. Meyer, 83, of the Lasata Care Center, Cedarburg, formerly of Newburg, died Friday, Aug. 4, 2000, at the Lasata Care Center.
He was born Jan. 15, 1917, to the late William G. and Mary (nee Gessner) Meyer, and married Sylvia Simon. She passed away on Sept. 21, 1980.
Leonard was a long-time member of St. Paul Community Church, Waubeka.
Survivors include his children, Janet Meyer of West Bend and Thomas (Jean) Meyer of St. Charles, Mo.; a brother, Willis (Doris) Meyer of Milwaukee; eight grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, Aug. 7, at 7 p.m. at the Mueller Funeral Home, Cedarburg.
Rev. David Jerger will officiate, and burial will be in Immanuel Cemetery, Cedarburg, at 9 a.m. on Tuesday.
Visitation at the funeral home will be Monday from 4 p.m. until the time of services.
Memorials of the donor's choice are appreciated.

George R. Dymale
George R. Dymale, 74, of West Bend, died Monday, Aug. 6, 2001, at St. Joseph's Community Hospital.
He was born Sept. 4, 1926, in Milwaukee, to the late Henry and Marie (nee Scharrer) Dymale, and married Nan Sceper on Aug. 26, 1950, at Holy Angels Catholic Church, West Bend.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the Pacific Theater.
George was employed as a typesetter for many years at The West Bend Daily News and also at Serigraph and the Hartford Booster. He was also a crossing guard for many years.
He was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Parish, West Bend, was an avid golfer and also enjoyed bowling and playing softball.
Survivors include his wife; six children, Mark (Janet) of Ashford, Keith of Milwaukee, and John, Lisa (John) Ryan, David and Chris (Lupe), all of West Bend; five grandchildren, Jennifer Dymale, Mark Dymale Jr., Mitchell Ryan, Casey Jo Ryan and Merari Dymale; a sister, Anita (Alex) Drees of Greenfield; a brother, Robert (Florence) Dymale of Albuquerque, N.M.; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
Preceding him in death were a sister, Dorothy Walter, and a brother-in-law, Holz Walter.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Aug. 9 at 8 p.m. at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home, West Bend.
Rev. Jeffrey Haines of St. Frances Cabrini Parish will officiate, and burial will be Friday at 9 a.m. in Washington County Memorial Park, West Bend.
Visitation at the funeral home will be Thursday from 5 p.m. until the time of services.
