Christa Marie Fleischman, 24
Christa Marie Fleischman, 24, of Campbellsport, passed away on Friday, Oct. 20, 2000, from injuries received in an automobile accident.
She was born on June 30, 1976, in West Bend, the loving daughter of Albert and Joan (Gutjahr) Fleischman, and graduated in 1994 from Kewaskum High School.

Christa was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Kewaskum and was a CYE teacher.

She was employed as the general manager of the Wisconsin Athletic Club in Greenfield.

Her favorite pastimes were walking, jogging and spending time with her friends.

Survivors include her fiance, Brian Moser of Fond du Lac; her parents, Albert and Joan Fleischman of Campbellsport; a brother, Joel (Pam) of Campbellsport, and a sister, Laura Fleischman (special friend Brian Zurn of Eden) at home; her paternal grandmother, Bernice Fleischman of St. Kilian; many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

Preceding her in death were her paternal grandfather, Frank Fleischman; maternal grandparents, Glen and Arlene Gutjahr; and her uncle, Michael.

Christa will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 24, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Kewaskum.

Father Mark Jones will officiate, and burial will follow in the parish cemetery.

Friends may call after 3 p.m. on Monday, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Kewaskum.

The Miller Funeral Home, Kewaskum, is serving the family.

Hilda A. Weber
Hilda A. Weber, nee Andre, of West Bend, died Monday, Oct. 23, 2000, at the Samaritan Health Center at the age of 93.
She was born July 10, 1907, in the town of Unity, to the late Robert F. and Anna (nee Naatz) Andre, and married Raymond M. Weber on Oct. 27, 1927, in Milwaukee.

Following their marriage, the couple moved to West Bend where she became employed at the former Campbell's Department Store and later Amity Leather Products.

Her husband passed away on March 5, 1967.

Survivors include a son, James (Cecilia) of Cedarburg; four grandchildren, Jan Marie (Dave) Laun, Jill Annette (Ken) Monroe, Judi Lynn (Len) Asmondy and Dennis James Weber; nine great-grandchildren; a half-brother, Robert (Doris) Andre; a half-sister, Norma (Emil) Luepke; other relatives and friends.

Preceding her in death was her stepmother, Anna (nee Selke) Andre.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Oct. 26, at 10:30 a.m. at the Schmidt Funeral Home, West Bend, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at Holy Angels Catholic Church.

Fr. John Wutscheck will be the presider, and burial will follow in Holy Angels Cemetery.

Visitation at the funeral home will be Thursday from 9 a.m. until the time of the services.

Albert "Al" Stumpf
Albert "Al" Stumpf, 70, of Brookfield, found peace on Sunday, Oct. 22, 2000.
Al was the founding partner of Schuppler, Stumpf, Misiewicz, Morgan and Pizur Insurance Agencies.

He was the former vice president of Wisconsin Insurance Management and former member of CPCU Society.

Al served on the board of advisors for the Jesuit Retreat House in Oshkosh, the Foundation for Religious Retirement, and was an usher at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Wauwatosa for 28 years.

He was the founder of Wisconsin Chapter of American Liver Association, was the co-founder of Penn-Ten Corp. and served his country proudly in the U.S. Army , earning the rank of sergeant.

He was the loving father of Nancy (Joe) Nadolny, Jane (Greg) Blau and Susan (Richard) Russell; devoted grandpa to Kim and Nicky Nadolny, Andy, Danny and Tommy Blau and Amanda, Katlyn and Andrea Russell; dear husband of Jackie Krell-Stumpf; loving brother of Frank (Elaine), Bette Pizur and Marion Warack.

He is also survived by the children's mother, Joanne Jeffords (Stumpf), nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, Oct. 26, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 122nd and West Center Street, Wauwatosa (Please meet at the church.)

Committal services will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery, Milwaukee.

Visitation at the Becker Ritter Funeral Home, 14075 W. North Ave., Brookfield, will be held Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Milwaukee Rescue Mission or the Salvation Army would be appreciated.

Brian C. Nyberg
Brian C. Nyberg, 26, of the town of Auburn, formerly of the town of Trenton, died Sunday, Oct. 22, 2000, at the scene of an automobile accident in the town of Auburn.
He was born March 16, 1974, in West Allis to Kenneth and LeeAnnette (nee Puerling) Nyberg, and at an early age moved with his family to the town of Trenton.

Brian graduated from Holy Angels Elementary School in West Bend and was a 1992 graduate of Catholic Memorial High School in Waukesha.

He received an associate degree (with high honors) in die design from Moraine Park Technical College, after which he was employed at The West Bend Co. for the past 7 1/2 years.

Brian was a total outdoorsman, loving bow hunting and his favorite, fishing. He was a talented wood carver, had a great sense of humor and was a charismatic caring person.

While employed at The West Bend Co., Brian was a member of the Support Group and also a member of the Hazmat Team.

Survivors include his parents, Ken and Lee of the town of Trenton; a brother, John (Bridget) in Georgia; his fiancee of six years, Christine Schilling, whom he was to marry in September 2001; two great-aunts, Yvonne Froehlich of the town of Trenton and Mildred McBride of Phillips; cousins; other relatives and many friends.

Preceding him in death were his maternal grandmother, maternal great-grandparents, paternal grandparents and paternal great-grandparents.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Oct. 26, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Newburg (meet at the church).

Fr. Dan Chowning, O.C.C., will preside, and burial will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery Newburg.

Visitation at the Schmidt Funeral Home, West Bend, will be Wednesday from 4 p.m. until the 8 p.m. prayer vigil.

Memorials are appreciated.

Richard Lubahn
Richard Lubahn, 58, of Waupun, died Saturday, Oct. 21, 2000, at Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac.
He was born July 29, 1942, in West Bend, to the late Arnold and Emilie (Marks) Lubahn, attended Kewaskum schools and graduated from Kewaskum High School.

During his years of employment he drove truck for various companies throughout the area.

He attended the Alto Reformed Church in Alto.

Survivors include a son, Ken Luedtke of Fond du Lac; five daughters, Angie (Chad) Wierenga of Waupun, Lisa Engelberger of Wales, Cheri Lubahn and Donna Lubahn, both of Phoenix, Ariz. and Janet (Robert) Marten of South Beloit, Ill.; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Ronald (Pat) of Merrill and Robert (Phyllis) of West Bend; two sisters, Hope Dalzin of West Bend and Barbara (Randy) Hagedorn of Mayville; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

Preceding him in death was a brother.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 25, at 10:30 a.m. at the Alto Reformed Church.

Rev. Ted Medema and Rev. Ted Lindman will officiate, and burial will follow in Alto Cemetery, Alto.

Friends and relatives may call at the Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home, Waupun, Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services.

Mary E. Hug
Mary E. Hug, nee Freund, of West Bend, formerly of Fond du Lac, died Friday, Oct. 20, 2000, at her residence, at the age of 57.
She was born July 16, 1943, in Milwaukee, to Clarence and Edwina (nee Buechel) Freund.

A graduate of St. Mary's Springs in Fond du Lac, Mary was employed as a nurses' aide at various hospitals and nursing homes.

On Nov. 30, 1963, she marred Robert D. Hug in Waukegan Ill.

Mary enjoyed spending time with and caring for her grandchildren.

Survivors include three children, Mary Jean (Gary) Phelps of Beaver Dam, Robert E. Jr. and Bonnie Jean Hug, both of West Bend; five grandchildren, Rebekah Joy Hagy, Jacqueline Brook Hug, Krystal Rose Hug, James H. Schwichtenberg and Robert J. Schwichtenberg; her mother, Edwina Freund of Fond du Lac; her former husband, Bob Hug Sr.; four sisters, Patricia (Paul) Buechel of Marlow, Donna (Jerome) Lefeber of Chilton, Annette (Michael) Lefeber of St. Cloud and Diane (Wayne) Kiefenheim of Mount Calvary; four brothers, Earl, Stephen (Karen) and Stanley (Lori), all of Fond du Lac, and Wayne (Carrie) of Malone; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

Preceding her in death was her father, Clarence.

Private family funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 23, at 7 p.m. at the Schmidt Funeral Home, West Bend.

Rev. Jeffrey Haines, pastor at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, West Bend, officiated, and cremation took place at Valhalla Memorial Park, Milwaukee.

Memorials sent in care of the funeral home would be appreciated.
