Clarence H. Sauer
Clarence H. Sauer, 82, of St. Kilian, passed away on Monday, April 2, 2001, at St. Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lac.
He was born May 15, 1918, in Nenno, to the late Anton and Mary (Kreilkamp) Sauer, and on Oct. 16, 1943, married Martha Mayer at St. Kilian Catholic Church in St. Kilian.
Mr. Sauer was a member of St. Kilian Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society.
Survivors include his wife; three children, Daniel (Sue) of St. Kilian, David (Marie) and Shirley (Lester) Simon, both of Campbellsport; a sister, Leonarda (Felix) Heilmann of Allenton; seven grandchildren, Michael, Jeffrey, Thomas and Lisa Simon, Jason Sauer (fiancee Amy), Sarah and Robert Sauer; A sister-in-law, Marion Sauer of Allenton; other relatives and friends.
Preceding him in death were three brothers, Louis, Roman and Melvin; three sisters, Minnie Sauer, Esther Schellinger and Linda Held; and a granddaughter, Jessica Lynn (Simon) Abnet.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, April 6, at St. Kilian Catholic Church.
Father Francis Malloy and Father Victor Kemmer will be concelebrants, and entombment will at 10 a.m. on Saturday in the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum in Fond du Lac.
Visitation at the church only will be Friday from 4 p.m. until the time of services.
The Miller Funeral Home, Kewaskum, is serving the family.
Herman Woelbing
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3:30 p.m. at Mueller Funeral Home, Cedarburg, for Herman Woelbing, 87, of Saukville, who died April 2, 2001 at St. Mary’s Hospital Ozaukee in Mequon. Interment will be at Waubeka Union Cemetery.
In-state visitation will be at the funeral home from 1:30 p.m.
Mr. Woelbing was born Oct. 7, 1913 in Mequon, son of the late Carl and Alma (nee Poeltzig) Woelbing.
Survivors include brothers Clarence (Louise) Woelbing and Milton (Norma) Woelbing, both of California; sisters Marie Drinkwine of Brookfield and Laraine (John) Badke of Menomonee Falls; sister-in-law Mary Ann Woelbing of Mequon; brother-in-law Irvin Solem of North Dakota; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Preceding Mr. Woelbing in death were brothers Otto Kandler, Hilbert Woelbing and Edwin Stremlow, and sister Malinda (nee Stremlow) Solem.
Ann H. Deits
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Schramka-Densow Funeral Home in Thiensville for Ann H. Deits (nee Gibes) of Cedarburg who died on March 31, 2001 at the age of 77. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at Immanuel Cemetery.
Ann was a longtime member of Heritage Christian Church.
Survivors include: children Judith (Joseph) Mastrocola, Thomas (Carla) Deits, Roberta Deits and Joan (Brad) Fine; grandchildren Mark (Wendy) Moore, Monica Moore, Matthew Moore, Joshua Last, Sarah Last and Courtney Deits; great-granddaughter Nicole Moore.
Further survived by three brothers, one sister, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert W. Deits.

Edmund Baehmann
Funeral services were held Tuesday at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Grafton for Edmund Baehmann, 93, who died March 30, 2001 at his Grafton home.
Interment was at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield. The Mueller Funeral Home, Cedarburg, assisted the family with arrangements.
Mr. Baehmann was born in Milwaukee on Oct. 2, 1907, son of the late Albert and Mary (nee Kiehnow) Baehmann. He married Ruth Schultz on Nov. 7, 1936 in Wauwatosa.
Mr. Baehmann worked at Grob Inc. and Mercury Marine as a machinist, as also helped at the Baehmann Family Golf Center in Cedarburg for 40 years.
Survivors include his wife Ruth of Cedarburg; sons Bud (Nancy) Baehmann of Cedarburg and Dale (Susan) Baehmann of Wilmington, N.C.; grandchildren Keith (Margie) Baehmann of McKinney, Texas, Linda (Scott) McConnell of Madison, Kurt Baehmann of Madison and Edan Baehmann of Tucson, Ariz; great-grandchildren Connor and Cody McConnell of Madison; sister Margaret (Gil) Sellin of Thiensville; sisters-in-law Erna Baehmann of Watertown and Jeanette Leicht of Sheboygan Falls; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Memorials to St. Paul Lutheran Church would be appreciated.
Norbert J. Wick, 89
Norbert J. Wick, 89, of Milwaukee, was born to eternal life Thursday, April 5, 2001.
Beloved husband of the late Lucy (nee Diderrich) and late Loretta (nee Schaefer).
Dear father of Donald (Marilyn), Judy Beaudot, Nancy (Dennis) Peters, all of West Bend. Russel (Elaine), Daniel (Molly), both of Waukesha. Norbert Jr. (Rebecca) of Rockford, Ill. Michael (Sharon) of Drummond, Wis., Patricia Stephenson of West Palm Beach, Fla., Gary (Katherine) of Minneapolis, and Charles of Los Angeles.
Loving grandfather of 39 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Brother of Sylvester (Emily) and Katherine (Raymond) Giencke; special friend Elenore Vrana. Further survived by many other relatives and friends. Predeceased by daughter, Noreen Ackeret and one great-granddaughter, two sisters and four brothers.
Norbert was retired from the Milwaukee Fire Department with more than 28 years of service and was a member of the St. Jude League. He was a long-time member of the Milwaukee Concertina Club, until it dissolved. He loved golf and baseball and was a member of the Old Timers Baseball Association.
Visitation will be Sunday, April 8, from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Zwaska Funeral Home, 4900 W. Bradley Road, Milwaukee (414-354-5330).
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 9, at 10 a.m. at St. Therese Church, 9525 W. Bluemound Road, Wauwatosa. Internment will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Mequon.
Memorials to the Diabetes Association of Wisconsin or the American Heart Association are appreciated.

Joan Dunn, 89
Joan Dunn, fondly known as "Bubby," died on Saturday, March 31, 2001, in Arlington, Texas, at the age of 89.
She had lived in West Bend from 1981-'92, and was a retired teacher from Chicago, Ill.
Survivors include her sister, Rose Karant; her sons, Lenny (Karen) and Michael (Linda; grandchildren, Brian, Rhoda and Jennifer Dunn, Cheryl Nadolski, Shana Schloemer, Ariana Dunn, Isaac and Jacob Silver; and four great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were two brothers, Sid and Ben Osten.
Funeral services were held in Chicago.
She was loving and giving to all who she met. We will miss her.
Ray C. Jung
Funeral services will be held today for Cedarburg resident and businessman Ray C. Jung, 71, who died April 5, 2001 at St. Michael Hospital in Milwaukee.
In-state visitation will be held from 3 p.m. at Alliance Bible Church in Mequon, with the funeral service to start at 7 p.m. Arrangements are being handled by Mueller Funeral Home, Cedarburg.
Mr. Jung was born in Cedarburg on April 3, 1930, son of the late Ray and Hulda (nee Riesmeyer) Jung. He married Lois Kinney on June 30, 1956 in River Forest, Ill.
Mr. Jung was the owner and operator of Jung Furniture, a fixture in downtown Cedarburg since 1952. He was also a member of the Cedarburg Fire Department for 51 years, and a member of the Gideons International for 23 years.
Survivors include his wife Lois of Cedarburg; children Raymond R. (Lynn) Jung of Cedarburg, Alice (Jeff) Standafer of East Troy, Charlene (Daniel) Henneberry of Hartford and Philip Jung of Cedarburg; grandchildren Robert and Emily Jung of Cedarburg, Rebecca, Timothy and Thomas Standafer of East Troy; sister Virginia (Harvey) Gruenwald of Cedarburg; other relatives and friends.

Ralph "Buddy" Duffrin
Ralph "Buddy" Duffrin, 71, of Theresa, passed away on Saturday, April 7, 2001, as the result of injuries suffered in an auto accident.
He was born Oct. 11, 1929, in Theresa, to the late William and Eleanor (nee Moser) Duffrin, and married Dorothy Butzlaff on Aug. 2, 1952, at St. Peter and Paul Church, Nenno.
Ralph worked at John Deere in Horicon for 27 years, retiring in January of 1992.
He belonged to the Loyal Order of Moose 732 in West Bend, and the Hartford Senior Friends.
Ralph enjoyed and loved his grandchildren, playing sheepshead, taking care of his yard and being with people.
Survivors include his wife; a son, David (Bonnie) of Brookfield; a daughter, Cheryl (Nick) Elliott of Germantown; two grandchildren, Taylor and Joshua Duffrin; a sister, Rita Gitter of Milwaukee; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
Preceding him in death were an infant brother, Willard, and a brother-in-law, Arnold Gitter.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday, April 10 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Lawrence Parish, St. Lawrence
Fr. Alois Van Beek will officiate, and interment will be in St. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Nenno.
Visitation at the Shimon Funeral Home, Hartford, will be Monday from 4 to 8:30 p.m. with a prayer vigil at 8:30 p.m.
