Larry Landvatter

Larry Landvatter, 52, of Fillmore, passed away on Saturday, June 2, 2001, at his home.
He was born Dec. 8, 1948, in West Bend, to the late Wilmer and Veronica (Stahl) Landvatter, and on Oct. 28, 1972, married Donna Petermann at St. John Lutheran Church, New Fane.

Larry served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

He was employed by Kemps Dairy in Kewaskum for 28 years, and at the time of his death was employed by Daco Precision Co. in West Bend.

He was a member of Turners Association of Fillmore.

Survivors include his wife; three children, Jeffrey Landvatter of Janesville, Lisa (Chad) Muckerheide of Adell and Jason (Sandy)Landvatter of Kewaskum; a grandson, Aric Muckerheide and a soon-to-be granddaughter, Kelsey Muckerheide; a brother, Ronald Landvatter of Fillmore; three sisters, Marlene (Hilbert) Fiedler of Fond du Lac, Judith (David) Zimdars of Fillmore and Louise (Alvis) Tillou of West Bend; his parents-in-law, Lloyd and LaVerne Petermann of Campbellsport; 13 nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 5, at 7 p.m. at the Miller Funeral Home, Kewaskum.

Rev. Mark Eckert will officiate, and burial with military graveside rites will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday in St. John Lutheran Church Cemetery, New Fane.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4 p.m. until the time of services.

Henry Rofritz

Henry Rofritz, 90, of West Bend, died Friday, June 1, 2001, at the Cedar Lake Health Care Center.
He was born Dec. 18, 1910, in Esceny, Hungary, to the late Conrad and Katherine (nee Becker) Rofritz, and came to the United States n 1921.

He married Rosemary Fenner on June 2, 1934, in Milwaukee.

Henry worked as a carpenter for many years, retiring in 1972, and was a lifetime member of the Carpenter's Union Local 264.

After retirement, he enjoyed mini-farming near Plymouth.

Survivors include his wife; four children, Arlane (Dale) Meneau of Merritt Island, Fla., Audrey (Edward) Schultz of Pewaukee, Henry (Mary) Rofritz of Jackson and Cheryl (Curt) Wells of Pewaukee; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Catherine (Frank) Tarasoff of Milwaukee and Elizabeth Harter of West Allis, other relatives and friends.

Preceding him in death were two brothers, Conrad and John.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 6, at 7 p.m. in the Chapel of the Chimes at Wisconsin Memorial Park, Brookfield.

Burial will be in Wisconsin Memorial Park on Thursday.

Visitation at Wisconsin Memorial Park will be Wednesday from 5 p.m. until the time of services.

The Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home West Bend is serving the family.

Anna Boudwine

Anna Boudwine, nee Handl, 86, of West Bend, died Saturday, June 2, 2001, at the Samaritan Health Center.
She was born Dec. 12, 1914, in Milwaukee, to the late Adam and Gisela (nee Hipp) Handl, and married Hilary "Frenchy" Boudwine on April 28, 1934, in Waukegan, Ill.

Together they owned and operated the Wagon Wheel Tavern (on old Highway 45 South and Pleasant Valley Road) from 1957 until his death in 1977.

Anna continued to operate the tavern until her retirement in 1979.

Survivors include special friends, Shelby and Edwin Weasler Sr. of West Bend.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, June 6, at 10 a.m. at Washington County Memorial Park West Bend.

The Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home West Bend, is assisting the family.

Lorraine C. Petersdorf
Lorraine C. Petersdorf, nee Werner, 77, of West Bend, died Sunday, June 3, 2001.

Mrs. Petersdorf was a longtime resident of Green Valley Mobile Home Park, Jackson, and a retired employee of Continental Can.

She was the beloved wife of the late Marshall "Pete;" dear mother of Jeffrey (Kathy) Petersdorf; grandmother of Jessica, Melissa and Stephanie; and great-grandmother of Zachary.

She is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 6, at 7:30 p.m. at the Harder Funeral Home, Brookfield.

Visitation at the funeral home will be Wednesday from 4 to 7:30 p.m.

Entombment will be in Wisconsin Memorial Park.

Frances Rohlinger
Frances Rohlinger, 86, of Kewaskum, passed away on Monday, June 4, 2001, at St. Joseph's Community Hospital, West Bend.

She was born July 12, 1914, in Campbellsport, to the late Anton and Magdalen (Bach) Schrauth, and on Oct. 14, 1936, married Theodore Rohlinger at St. Matthew's Catholic Church, Campbellsport.

He passed away on Sept. 24, 1991.

Mrs. Rohlinger was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Kewaskum, the Holy Trinity Christian Women, past president of the Ladies Altar Sodality and was an active member making rosaries.

She was also a member of the Kewaskum Women's Club, Hon-E-Kor Country Club, the XYZ Club of Kewaskum, was a Girl Scout leader and a member of various bowling leagues.

Survivors include three children, Carol (Don) Schacht and Joyce (Robert) Guse, both of West Bend, and David (Susan) Rohlinger of Hartford; a brother, Sylvester (Evelyn) Schrauth of West Bend; a sister, Margaret Manthey of Campbellsport; three sisters-in-law, Margaret Schrauth of California, Marion Rettler and Dolores Rohlinger, both of Fond du Lac; nine grandchildren, Beth (Steve) Ettl, Janine (Greg) Baer, Mary (John) St. Peter, John (Toepfer), Steve (Jodi) Toepfer, Debra (Jim) Lambrecht, Jacqueline (Robert) Koller, Aimee (Ty) Jeranek and Andrew Rohlinger; 13 great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.

Preceding her in death were four brothers, two sisters, a grandson, Tim Rohlinger, and a great-grandson, Aaron Ettl.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 6, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Kewaskum.

Father Mark Jones will officiate, and burial will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday in the parish cemetery.

Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 4 p.m. until the time of services.

The Miller Funeral Home, Kewaskum, is serving the family.

Jerome J. Herriges
Jerome J. Herriges, 82, of West Bend, died Monday, June 4, 2001, at his home.

He was born June 26, 1918, in St. Michaels, to the late Mathias and Leocadia (nee Wilger) Herriges, and married Rosalie Mancheski on Nov. 11, 1939, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Green Bay.

After graduating from St. Michael's Elementary School, he worked with his dad at the St. Michaels Garage for 10 years, then as a mechanic at Kohn Brothers Implement in Kewaskum for 20 years.

He was elected supervisor for the town of Kewaskum, serving for 20 years, and also served as the secretary of St. Michael's Parish when the new school was built and the parish hall was remodeled.

In 1944 Jerome was drafted into the U.S. Army and served in the 24th Division of the 34th Infantry. He was sent to the island of Leyte in the Phillipines and the island of Mindinao until his discharge on March 24, 1946.

Jerome earned the Combat Infantrymen Badge, the Phillipine Liberation Ribbon with the Bronze Star, the Asiatic-Pacific Theater Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal.

In 1987 Jerome and Rosalie came to West Bend.

He was a member of St. Michael's Church for more than 40 years, and was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Church and the Father Casper Rehrl Council 1964 Knights of Columbus.

He was an avid card player, and loved bowling and playing Bingo.

Survivors include his wife; six children, Lloyd (Marian) of Kewaskum, Judith (Paul) Strasser of Stratford, Mary (Richard) Kutscheid of Pewaukee, Virginia (Ken) Kurtzweil of Edgar, Patricia (John) Metrish of West Bend and Donna (Richard) Wallner of Saukville; 17 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; eight brothers; four sisters; other relatives and friends.

Preceding him in death were a daughter-in-law, Diane Herriges; a granddaughter, Lisa Herriges; and a brother.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, June 7, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Michael's Catholic church. St. Michaels.

Father Michael Petersen of St. Frances Cabrini Church will be the presider, and burial will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery.

Visitation at the church only will be Thursday from 9 a.m. until the time of services.

The Schmidt Funeral Home, West Bend, is serving the family.
