Marvin J. Schmidt
Marvin J. Schmidt, 69, of Kewaskum, passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2001, at his home with his family at his side.

He was born Nov. 25, 1931, in the town of Auburn, to the late Philip an Antoinette (Kozlowski) Schmidt, and on May 30, 1958, married Cecile "Cele" Strupp at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, St. Lawrence.

Mr. Schmidt served his country in the U.S. Marines during the Korean War.

He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Kewaskum, the Robert G. Romaine American Legion Post 384 in Kewaskum, Hon-E-Kor Country Club, Kewaskum, and the Knights of Columbus Father Casper Rehrl Council 1964 in West Bend.

He was employed by Regal Ware Inc. in Kewaskum, retiring in 1993 after 33 years of service and was a member of its 25-Year Club.

Survivors include his wife; two children, Randall (Angela) Schmidt of Milford, Mich. and Jeanne (Steven) Faude of Jackson; a brother, Michael (Colleen) Schmidt of West Bend; his mother-in-law Cecilia Strupp of West Bend; five grandchildren, Heather, Matthew, Stephanie and Joshua Faude and Noah Schmidt; other relatives and many friends.

Preceding him in death were four brothers, Elmer, William, Robert and Gerald Schmidt, and an infant sister.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 21, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Kewaskum.

Father Mark Jones will officiate, and burial with military graveside rites will be at 10 a.m. on Friday in the parish cemetery.

Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 4 p.m. until the time of services.

Memorials may be given to Holy Trinity Catholic School or Heartland Hospice.

The Miller Funeral Home, Kewaskum, is serving the family.

Dorothy M. Desjarlais
Dorothy M. Desjarlais, 65, of Horicon, died Tuesday, June 19, 2001, at Beaver Dam Community hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born June 23, 1935, in Beaver Dam, to Alton and Barbara (Maleck) Mallon, and married Jerry Desjarlais on Feb. 20, 1954, at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Beaver Dam.

Mrs. Desjarlais worked at The West Bend Co. for over 27 years, and was a member of St. Malachy Catholic Church (now Sacred Heart Parish).

Survivors include her husband; five daughters, Jean (Ken) Giese of Horicon, Cathy (Alan) Foust of Mayville, Christine (James Sr.) Pierce and Cindy Dollar, both of Beaver Dam, and Connie (James) Jaeger of Horicon; three sons, James (Diane), John, and Walter "Louie" (Annette), all of Beaver Dam; 22 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; her mother, Barbara Mallon of Beaver Dam; a sister, Barbara Ann (Don) Christianson of Kole Valley, Ill.; a brother, Robert (Rose) Mallon of Beaver Dam; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

Preceding her in death were her father, and a brother, Alvin.

Funeral services will be Friday, June 22, at 11 a.m. at the Murray Community Funeral Home, Horicon.

Father M. Eugene Kinney will officiate, and cremation will follow.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m., and also on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of services.

Rev. Ken Howard
Funeral services will be held today at Alliance Bible Church for Rev. Kenneth Gamerdinger Howard, who died on June 17, 2001, at the age of 55.

Rev. Paul D. Ecker Sr., his brother-in-law, will officiate at the 7 p.m. ceremony. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Burial will be held at Zur Ruhe Cemetery. Schramka-Densow Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.

Rev. Howard was the pastor of Heritage Christian Church for 19 years. He was chairman of the board and chaplain at Covered Bridge Christian School and ACE High School.

Survivors include: wife Elaine; brother John (Elsie); sister Rosellyn (Al) Poff; brother-in-law Herb Larson; sisters-in-law Barbara Gamerdinger and Nancy Gamerdinger.

Also survived by nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Marvin, Judith and Jerry.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Covered Bridge Christian School are appreciated.

Roscoe Fancher
Services will be held today at West Hill Baptist Church in Akron, Ohio, for L. Roscoe (Rocky) Fancher, who died on June 14, 2001, at the age of 86. Rev. Marc Erickson and Rev. Keith Marlett will officiate at the ceremony, with arrangements handled by Billow Fairlawn Chapel. Interment will be held Friday at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Houghton, N.Y.

Mr. Fancher was born April 26, 1915 in Houghton, N.Y. He taught science and math and served several New York State Schools. In 1956 he moved to Milwaukee, where he was employed as a manager and then Realtor until he retired in 1980. He and his wife moved to the Akron, Ohio area in 2000.

Survivors include: wife of 65 years, Elizabeth "Betty" Fancher; daughter, Mary Jane (Fred) Thomas of Wadsworth, Ohio; sons Don (Nan) of Honolulu, Hawaii, and Herb (Pat) of Santa Barbara, Calif.; 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Houghton College, Ethlyn Stebbins Scholarship Fund Houghton, N.Y. 14711.

Robert A. Neuenschwander

Robert A. Neuenschwander, 55, of Menomonee Falls, passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2001, at Community Memorial Hospital in Menomonee Falls.
He was born March 30, 1946, in Hartford, to Alvin and Lorraine Neuenschwander.

In 1963 he moved to Wauwatosa, and in 1967 married Sally Beisel in Milwaukee.

Robert and his family returned to Hartford in 1968.

His family owned and operated the Westside Dairy on West State Street, where Black's Greenhouse is today.

He worked in the family dairy business for many years until he chose another career eight years ago as a realtor.

Robert was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Menomonee Falls.

Survivors include his wife; his children, Vicki Neuenschwander of West Allis, Brad (Sasha) Neuenschwander of Wauwatosa and Mark (Katie) Neuenschwander of Mukwonago; his grandson, Adam; his parents, Alvin and Lorraine Neuenschwander of Menomonee Falls; his sisters, Carole (Bob) Schraufnagel of Hartland and Mary (David) Riesland of Williams Bay; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

Visitation at the Berndt-Ledesma Funeral Home, Hartford, will be Friday, June 22, from 5 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m.

Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Hartford.

Mary "Margaret" Seichter

Mary "Margaret" Seichter, 53, of Campbellsport, passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2001, at Froedtert Lutheran Memorial Hospital, Milwaukee.
She was born Sept. 3, 1947, in Chippewa Falls, to the late Jesse and Bernadette (Bartz) Luedtke, and attended school in Fall Creek.

Richard Seichter and Margaret were united in marriage on Feb. 12, 1966 in Cadott.

In addition to being a housewife, she was a wonderful mom, grandma and sister.

Margaret is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Richard; two daughters, Annette Fritz of Adell and Sherry (Mark) Raether of Kewaskum; four grandchildren, Jesse Seichter, Karee Raether, Sydney and Mitchell Fritz; four brothers, Larry (Pat) Luedtke of Eau Claire, Gary (June) Luedtke of Lannon, Jim (Judy) Luedtke of Kewaskum and Ralph (Norma) Luedtke of Kewaskum; a sister-in-law, Pat Luedtke of Hartford; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

Preceding her in death were three brothers, Barry, Kenny and Tony.

Margaret would always see the brighter side of any situation and will be sadly missed by many.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 22 at 6 p.m. at the Twohig Funeral Home, Campbellsport.

Rev. Tom Ormsby will officiate with cremation taking place.

Visitation at the funeral home will be Friday from 4 p.m. until the time of service.

Marie Alma Lettow
Marie Alma Lettow, nee Fellenz, 90, of Campbellsport, died on Wednesday, June 20, 2001, at her home.

She was born Oct. 31, 1910, in St. Michaels, to the late John and Christina (Schladweiler) Fellenz, and married William F. Lettow on June 17, 1939, at St. Michael's Church, St. Michaels. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include five children, Frederick (Virginia) Lettow of Kewaskum, John (Peggy) Lettow of West Bend, Janet (Ron) Lieders of Fond du Lac, Michael (Debra) Lettow of Kewaskum and Leo (Monica) Lettow of Random Lake; 22 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a brother, Leo (Arlene) of Fond du Lac, and a sister-in-law, Beatrice Fellenz of West Bend.

Marie was a member of St. Matthew's Church, Campbellsport;

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at noon on Saturday, June 23, at St. Matthew's Catholic Church, Cambellsport.

Rev. Mark Jones will officiate, and entombment will follow in Ledgeview Memorial Park, Fond du Lac.
