Paul "PJ" J. Wucherer

A funeral service will be held today at 7:30 p.m. at Schramka-Densow Funeral Home in Thiensville for Paul "PJ" J. Wucherer, who died on July 15, 2001, at the age of 21. Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. until the time of service. Schramka-Densow Funeral Home, Thiensville assisted the family with arrangements.
Mr. Wucherer was a 1998 graduate of Homestead High School and was a sales associate at Hall Imports in Brookfield.

He enjoyed motorcycling, skydiving, snowboarding, deer hunting and fast cars. He lived life to the fullest and was always looking for the next thrill adventure.

Survivors include: parents Jim Wucherer and Shar (nee Schroeder); brothers Ryan J. (Kathy), Chad (fiancee Jane Jelinek) and Todd Wucherer; sister Mindy Wucherer; grandparents Joseph and Marie Wucherer and Doris (the late Donald) Schroeder.

Further survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, friends and his best buddy Drake.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated.

Myron D. Fearson

A funeral service was held yesterday at Mueller Funeral Home in Grafton for Myron D. Fearson who died on July 16, 2001 at St. Mary’s Ozaukee Hospital, at the age of 78. Burial will be held at Avoca Cemetery in Oakfield, today.

Mr. Fearson was born in Deerbrook, on April 15, 1923 the son of the late Wilner and Ethel (nee Hanford) Fearson.

He married Mary Ellen Weatherwax on Dec. 4, 1945 in Shawano. He worked for A.O. Smith Corp. for 44 years.

He served his country in the United States Navy from 1943 to 1945.

He was a member of The Grafton Legion Post, Crossroads Presbyterian Church and a member of the Local 1668 IAM Union for over 50 years.

Mr. Fearson shared his military experiences with the history students at West Bend High School.

Survivors include: wife Mary Ellen; children Tom (Chris) Fearson, Jeanne (John) Wieczorek, Janet (Steve) Jeziorski and Ted; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Also special friend of Dandy Dog Dudley.

Norbert Lanser

Norbert Lanser, 81, of Belgium, died Tuesday, July 17, 2001, at Sinai Samaritan Medical Center in Milwaukee.

He was born Feb. 23, 1920, in the town of Port Washington, to the late Frank and Lillian (Wester) Lanser, and on Nov. 10, 1945, married Johanna Mayer at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Fredonia.

The couple farmed in the town of Fredonia until retiring.

His wife passed away in 1991.

Norbert was a member of Holy Rosary Parish, St. Rose Chapel in Fredonia where he was a very active member. He was also a member and chief ranger of the Catholic Order of Foresters, the Catholic Knights, founder and former leader of the Fredonia 4-H Club, the Luxembourg Society of Wisconsin, Ozaukee County Farm Bureau and a former member of the Country Promenaders Square Dancers.

Survivors include 11 children, Kathryn (Paul) Bialzik of Cedarburg, Ronald (Roxanne) Lanser of Fredonia, Marjorie (Robert) Schinker of West Bend, Monica (James) Gantner of Grafton, Mary Jo Lanser of Brookfield, Richard Lanser and Larry (Rita) Lanser of Belgium, Jane (Ken Smith) Lanser of Canton, a., John Lanser of Fredonia, Linda (Joe) Pigeon of Cedarburg and Lori (Paul) Barthelemy of Mequon; 15 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; five sisters, Angeline Jacoby of Plymouth, Rita Lauters of Port Washington, Alice (Eugene) Birenbaum and Geraldine (Clem) Bichler of Belgium and Sister Martha Lanser of Milwaukee; a brother, Father Jerome Lanser of Milwaukee; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

Preceding him in death were an infant son, two brothers and three sisters.

A funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday, July 21, at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Rosary Parish, St. Rose Chapel, Fredonia. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Friends may call at the Eernisse Funeral Home, Belgium, on Friday after 4 p.m., with a parish vigil at 8 p.m., and at the church on Saturday after 9 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Rosemary School Endowment Fund are appreciated.

Inez M. Muehl

Inez M. Muehl, West Bend, died Friday, July 20, 2001 at the Samaritan Health Center. She was 86.

She was born August 5, 1914 in Rockfield to the late William and Alvina Muehl.

Inez was a teacher and taught at various public grade schools in Washington County. In 1950, she joined the West Bend school system and taught at McLane Elementary. She retired in 1979.

She was also a member of First Baptist Church in West Bend.

Inez is survived by her sister Gladys Muehl of West Bend and other relatives and friends.

At Inez's request, a simple graveside service will be held at Cedar Park Cemetery in Richfield. Memorials may be sent in her name to the first Baptist Church, Gideon's International or West Bend Columns.

The Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home of West Bend is assisting the family.

Bradley W. Olsen

Bradley W. Olsen, 37 of West Bend, died unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, July 18, 2001.

He was born on April 10, 1964 in Norfolk, Va. to Roger W. Olsen and Monica Jenkins.

He was a member of the West Bend-Barton Sportsman's Club and past member of Local #392.

Bradley is survived by both parents and his son Zachary, brother Bryan Olsen of Waukesha, and sister Jennifer Olsen of Wichita, Kan. He is also survived by great aunt Leone Primus of West Allis and Zachary's mother, Terri Draskovich of Big Bend; the Robert "Elmer" Draskovich family of Muskego and Kim and Rodney Plato of Waterford.

Bradley's family extends their sincere appreciation to Dr. David A Hadcock, all physicians of Falls Medical Group and the entire staff at St. Joseph's Community Hospital of West Bend for their loving care.

Services for Bradley will be held on Sunday, July 22, 2001 at 4 p.m. at Vernon United Presbyterian Church, S71 W23280 National Ave., Big Bend.

Brad will be remembered by his gentle soul and giving spirit.

Wenig Funeral Home of Sheboygan Falls is serving the family.

Mark A. Sewell

A funeral service was held on Friday, July 20, at Mequon United Methodist Church for Mark A. Sewell, who died on July 17, 2001, at the age of 44.
Burial was held on Saturday at Immanuel Cemetery in Cedarburg.

The Schramka-Densow Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.

Mr. Sewell worked in radio and newspapers, and later became the director of communications for the Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE). He graduated from UW-Madison Law School and was a practicing attorney.

Survivors include: wife Kathleen (nee Levenhagen); children Grayson and Jackson Sewell; parents Delores (nee Van Doren) and Robert Sewell of Norfolk, Neb.; brother Dean (Pam) Sewell of Lincoln, Neb.; sisters Marsha (Lynn) Stewart of Norfolk, Neb., Lana (Don) Zimmerman of Sioux City, Iowa.

He is further survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother Scott.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Mark Sewell’s name can be made to his children Grayson and Jackson Sewell.

Ernest W. Mahler

Private services were held for Ernest W. Mahler of Germantown, 76, who died July 19, 2001 at St. Mary’s Hospice in Milwaukee.
He was born in Germany on Aug. 28, 1924, the son of the late Johannes and Wilhelmine (nee Wetzel) Mahler. He married Arlene (nee Baltus) on June 17, 1967 in Milwaukee.

He worked for Maynard Steel and then for Miller Brewing Co. for 15 years.

He was a member of the Milwaukee Elks Club and the Milwaukee Community Sailing Club.

Survivors include his wife; his children, Linda (Charles) Curran of Grafton, Ernie (Lori) Mahler of Oak Creek and Matthew Mahler of Milwaukee; grandchildren Erika and Erin Curran; sister Ruth (Hans) Maicher of Germany; brothers Siegfried (Edith) Mahler and Dieter (Irmgard) Mahler of Germany; many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society are appreciated.

Jim E. Kolins

A funeral service was held at Mueller Funeral Home in Cedarburg for Jim E. Kolins, 69, who died on July 19, 2001 at his residence.
Visitation was held from 5 p.m. until the funeral service which was held at 7:30 p.m. The Rose-Harms Post #355 officiated the funeral service. Inurnment was held at Woodlawn Cemetery in Grafton.

He was born to the late William and Irene (nee Koch) Kolins in Two Rivers on Dec. 11, 1931. He later married Marianne (nee Prillwitz) on Dec. 20, 1971 in Waukegan, Ill. He served his country in the Marine Corps during the Korean War.

He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Kolins is survived by his wife Marianne (nee Prillwitz) of Grafton; mother Irene Kolins of Wauwatosa; children Jeff (Martha) of Richfield, Joe of Port Washington and Jason of Grafton; stepchildren Rosie (Jim) Nieznanski of Hales Corners and Adrianne (Dan) Fechter of Jackson; grandchildren Kim and Kate Kolins of Richfield, Brianne, Danny and Julie Fechter of Jackson, Anna and Casey Nieznanski of Hales Corners.

He is also survived by sisters Kathleen (Michael) Tarantino of Mequon, Carol Schmerda of Grafton and Audrey Valculik of Milwaukee; brother-in-law Bob (Georgianna) Prillwitz of Black River Falls; sister-in-law Connie (David) Stout of Black River Falls.

He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Kolins, and a son, John Kolins.
