Wilmer "Willy" Klotz

A Mass of Christian Burial was held Thursday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Grafton for Wilmer "Willy" Klotz of Grafton who died Sunday, Sept. 30, 2001 at Lasata Care Center in Cedarburg at the age of 88.
Interment took place at the church cemetery. Visitation was held at the church.

The Mueller Funeral Home, Grafton, assisted the family.

Mr. Klotz was born Dec. 15, 1912 in Port Washington, the son of the late Frederick and Elizabeth (nee Frey) Klotz, and married the late Margaret (nee Musbach) on June 13, 1936 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Grafton.

He was an avid fisherman, golfer and longtime bowling instructor and coordinator of the Circle B Senior Citizens Bowling League.

He was a lifelong member of St. Joseph’s Church, a CCD instructor and choir member for 75 years.

He is survived by his children, Sister Rose-marie Klotz OSF of Greendale, Mary Klotz of Milwaukee, Sister Margaret Klotz OSF of Greendale, Barbara (David) Jacak of Campbellsport and Cecilia (Larry Stedman) Klotz of Vistal, N.Y.; a sister, Elizabeth Klotz of Milwaukee; a brother, Frederick Klotz of Milwaukee; grandchildren Kate Marie (Todd) Stark of Milwaukee and Aaron Yashinsky of Minneapolis; great-grandchildren Shacari, Olivia, Ariana and Precious.

He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial to the St. Joseph Dwelling Place or Franciscan Center at Cardinal Stritch University appreciated.

Mathias P. "Math" Hollrith

A Private Memorial Mass was held on Friday, Oct. 5 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Grafton, for Mathias P. "Math" Hollrith who died on Oct. 1, 2001 at Cedar Springs Health & Rehabilitation Center, Cedarburg, at the age of 98. Inurnment was at the Church Cemetery with Rev. Mike Barrett officiating.
Mueller Funeral Home of Grafton assisted the family.

Mr. Hollrith was born May 29, 1903 in Grafton, the son of the late Mathias P. and Angeline (nee Spehn) Hollrith. He married Theresa (nee Gall). They were lifelong residents of Grafton. He was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Grafton.

He is survived by his children Marvin (Barbara) of Cecil and Marlene (Marty) Wegner of Grafton; 10 grandchildren John (Sandy), James (Jan), Heidi Cowan, Joel (Tanya), David (Sandy), Nancy, Mary (Steve) Klotz, Elizabeth (Scott) Kosidowski, Jeff (Colleen) and Jenny Hollrith.

He is further survived by 11 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials of donor’s choice appreciated.

Everett R. Fultz

A funeral service was held on Saturday, Oct. 6, at the Mueller Funeral Home in Cedarburg for Everett R. Fultz who died at his home on Oct. 2, 2001 at the age of 73. Visitation was at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until time of service.
Mr. Fultz was born in Antigo on April 2, 1928 to the late Freeman and Marth (nee Farrand) Fultz. He married Janice (nee Werner) on March 15, 1951 in Milwaukee. He was a Navy veteran and worked at P&H Harnischfeger for 41 years.

He is survived by his wife Janice of Cedarburg; children Randy (Desirre) of Las Vegas, Mike (Sharon) of Milwaukee and Steve of Cedar Grove; grandchildren Melissa and Shane Fultz of Cedar Grove; brothers and sisters Buelah Brown of Antigo, Helen (Roscoe) Tackett of Antigo, Wilburn (Anges) Steagall of Sheboygan, Lucy (Ralph) Kadau of Big Bend, Herman (Arlette) Steagall of Elmhurst, Ill. and Phyllis Schneider of Sheboygan.

He is further survived by other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.

In lieu of flowers memorials to the American Lung Association would be appreciated.

Ruben C. Meiser Jr.

Ruben C. Meiser Jr., 69, of Richfield, died Saturday, Oct. 6, 2001, at Community Memorial Hospital, Menomonee Falls.
He was born Sept. 11, 1933, in Brown Deer, to the late Ruben Sr. and Viola (Berndt) Meiser.

He was a mason finisher for commercial and residential properties in the Milwaukee area.

Ruben was a member of the Milwaukee Plaster and Cement Mason Contractors Union Local 599 for over 25 years.

Survivors include a brother, Richard of Pike Lake, Hartford; two nephews, Gerald (Connie) Meiser and Scott Meiser, both of Hartford; special caregiver, Arlene M. Schneider of Richfield; other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 10, at 7 p.m. at the Phillip Funeral Home, Slinger.

Rev. Alice Murphy of St. Jacobi's will officiate, and cremation will take place at Paradise Cremation Services of West Bend.

Visitation with the family will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6 p.m. until the time of services.

Memorials to the Richfield Fire Department or the American Cancer Fund are appreciated.

Beulah M. Zuelsdorf

Beulah M. Zuelsdorf, nee Nichols, 87, of West Bend, died Friday, Oct. 5, 2001, at her residence.
She was born on Feb. 9, 1914, in Fond du Lac, to the late Guy and Etna (nee Hayes) Nichols, and on Oct. 5, 1940, married Edward Zuelsdorf in Milwaukee.

They moved to West Bend and Beulah started working at The West Bend Co. She was employed there until her retirement in 1977.

Edward passed away on April 27, 1978.

She was a member of the Fifth Avenue United Methodist Church, and the 25-year club at The West Bend Co.

Beulah enjoyed traveling with her husband before his death, and also enjoyed dancing, cards and the movies.

Survivors include her daughter, Nells (friend Jim Cain) Zuelsdorf of West Bend; a sister, Veneta Marks of Menomonee Falls; a sister-in-law, Mildred Nicholas of Mesa, Ariz.; two brothers-in-law, Melvin (Annabelle) Zuelsdorf of Belgium and Al De Bano of Port Washington; other relatives and friends.

Preceding her in death were two sisters, Elsie Smith and Ethel Sutherland, and two brothers, Lester and Arnold.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 9, at 6:30 p.m. at Fifth Avenue United Methodist Church.

Rev. William Dushek will officiate, and burial will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday in Washington County Memorial Park.

Visitation at the church only will be Tuesday from 3:30 p.m. until the time of services.

Memorials to Fifth Avenue United Methodist Church or the American Heart Association are appreciated.

The Myrhum-Patten Funeral and Cremation Service of West Bend is assisting the family.

Angeline C. "Angie" Koepke

Angeline C. "Angie" Koepke, 85, of Kewaskum, passed away on Friday, Oct. 5, 2001, at St. Joseph's Community Hospital, West Bend.
She was born on May 4, 1916, in the town of West Bend near Silver Lake, to the late Mike and Katherine (Barth) Peters, and on Sept. 28, 1935, was united in marriage to Carnel Koepke at Holy Angels Catholic Church in West Bend.

The couple made their home in the town of Kewaskum where they dairy farmed, and she also worked in the cafeteria at the Kewaskum schools for many years.

Her husband passed away on Sept. 28, 1995.

Angie was an active member of St. Lucas Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kewaskum, was a member of the Ladies Aid and the Kewaskum Historical Society.

She loved the outdoors and gardening as well as her hobbies - sewing, embroidering and quilting.

Survivors include four sons, Carl (Arlene) of Kewaskum, Walter (Meredith) of Concord, Calif., William (Darlene) of Holualoa, Hawaii and Allen (Bonnie) of Kewaskum; eight grandchildren, Jim (Jill) Koepke, Sue (Brendan) Keese, Sandy (Rev. Jon) Buchholz , Jean (Gary) Soyk, Kelly (Tim) McJunkin, Mark Koepke, Tim (Jodi) Koepke and Tammy (Mark) Heckendorf; three step-grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Lauretta Peters of Horicon, Vera Panzer of West Bend and Ann Bruendl of Kewaskum; many other relatives and friends.

Preceding her in death were two brothers and five sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 10, at St. Lucas Evangelical Lutheran Church, Kewaskum.

Rev. Timothy Henning will officiate, and burial will be at 9 a.m. on Thursday in Lutheran Memorial Park, Kewaskum.

Friends may call at the church at Wednesday from 4 p.m. until the time of services.

Memorials to St. Lucas Lutheran Church are appreciated.

The Miller Funeral Home, Kewaskum, is serving the family.

Daniel M. Juech
Daniel M. Juech, 84, of Albuquerque, N.M. , passed away at the VA Hospital on Friday, Oct. 5, 2001.

He was born in West Bend and moved to Albuquerque in 1955 with his family.

He was crew chief for his daughter Bonni's hot air balloon "Hot Stuff." Daniel volunteered at the Balloon Fiesta, and was very knowledgeable about ballooning and was known for his quick wit.

He was a staff sergeant in the U.S. Army during World War II and served in the European Theatre as well as Iceland.

He was a member of the American legion Post 49, and retired from Western Electric in 1983.

Survivors include his wife, Lillian; a sister, Florence Meyer of Hatley; a son, Joseph Creek of Palisade, Colo.; daughters, Sue Barrios and husband Joe, Bonnie Northcutt and husband Ben of Albuquerque, Nicole Juech of The Colony, Texas; granddaughters, Lisa Boone and husband Wes, Jennifer barrios of Albuquerque; grandsons, Phillip and Andrew Barrios of Albuquerque and Daniel Creek of Palisade, Colo.; great-grandchildren, Gordon, Steffen and Donavan Allen of Albuquerque; other relatives in Wisconsin and other states.

Preceding him in death were his father, Arthur Juech, who was chief of police in West Bend; his mother, Caroline Juech; brothers, Wilbur and Marvin Juech; daughter, Jeana Andrews; two grandsons, Steve Crawford and Jesse Butler.

Memorial services are pending.
