Norman L. Kuechler
Norman L. Kuechler, 85, of West Bend died Monday, Oct. 8, 2001, at the Samaritan Health Center.

He was born on Feb. 10, 1916, in Allenton to the late Conrad and Lizzy (nee Pfeifer) Kuechler and was married to Anna Endlich on Dec. 30, 1939. Together they made their home in the Jackson area until moving to West Bend in 1956. Norman worked as a machinist at the former Barton Products Co. until retiring in 1980. His wife, Anna, preceded him in death on March 15, 2001.

He is survived by four children, Donald (Valerie) Kuechler of West Bend, Roger (Ida) Kuechler of Fountain Hills, Ariz., Sharon (Donald) Krell of Kewaskum and Dennis (Janet) Kuechler of Kewaskum; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a sister, Bernice Yogerst of Lake Havasau City, Ariz.; a sister-in-law, Norma (Earl) Stenzel of Watertown; other relatives and friends.

Two sisters, Beulah Kuechler and Viola Sonn; and five brothers, Reinhold, Albert, Jerome, Louis and George, preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Myrhum-Patten Funeral & Cremation Service in West Bend. Rev. Victor Hackbarth will officiate and burial will follow in Washington County Memorial Park. Visitation will be Saturday at the funeral home from non until the time of service. Memorials to the American Cancer Society are appreciated by the family.

Isabelle M. Fry
Isabelle M. Fry (nee Gavin) 77, of Owen, formerly of West Bend, died Monday, Oct. 8, 2001, at the Clark County Health Care Center in Owen.

She was born on Oct. 20, 1923, in Couderay, Wis., to the late Robert and Netty (nee Marcks) gavin and was married to Harold M. Fry Sr. on June 10, 1939, in Irma. He preceded her in death in 1983.

Isabelle was a member of Nazareth Lutheran Church in Owen. She also enjoyed traveling and playing bingo.

She is survived by four daughters, Carol (Lloyd) Duranceau of Owen, Gloria (Richard) Nutzband of Fond du Lac, Sandy Fry of Fond du Lac, and Tammy (Frank) Svec of Fond du Lac; eight sons, Harold M. (June) Fry Jr. of Kewaskum, Milton Fry of Wausaukee, Howard (Ann) Fry of Lomira, Herbert (Gloria) Fry of Wausaukee, Charles (Faith) Fry of North Fond du Lac, Michael (Kathy) Fry of Allenton, Richard (Terri) Fry of West Bend and Francis Fry of Fond du Lac; 51 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Marie (Larry) Heinin of Cedar Grove; five brothers, Robert (Doris) Gavin of Colorado, Francis (Joan) Gavin of Colorado, George (Johanna) of West Bend, Edward (Darlene) Gavin of Lakewood and Dale (Beverly) Gavin of Eden; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Tessa Fry-Rogers, and three brothers, Ogden, Delbert and Delmar.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at Myrhum-Patten Funeral & Cremation Service in West Bend. Rev. Victor Hackbarth will officiate and burial will follow in Washington County Memorial Park.Visitation will be at the funeral home Thursday from 4-8 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.

Elizabeth J. Matthies

A funeral service will be held today at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, West Bend, for Elizabeth J. Matthies, who died on Oct. 5, 2001, at the age of 76.
Visitation will be held at the church from 4-7 p.m. with the funeral service beginning at 7 p.m. Bishop Ralph Bound will conduct the service. Interment will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Grafton.

Mueller Funeral Home in Grafton is assisting the family.

Mrs. Matthies was born Dec. 25, 1924, in Milwaukee, to the late Rudolph Trentzsch and the late Cathrine Glaeser Trentzsch.

She was an avid member of The Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints in West Bend. She also worked at Lasata Care Center in Cedarburg as a cook for many years. She was a longtime resident of Grafton.

Survivors include children, Michael (Dale) of Grafton, Suzanne (John) Dudley of Massachusetts, Wendy (Gary) LeDoux of Neenah, Pamela (Heinz) of Grafton; brother Orville (Constance) Trentzsch of Las Vegas.

She is further survived by 19 grandchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by William Matthies.

Thomas H. Czarnecki Sr.

A funeral service will be held today at 7 p.m. at Advent Lutheran Church in Cedarburg for Thomas H. Czarnecki Sr. who died on Oct. 5, 2001 at the age of 86. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m.
Schramka-Densow Funeral Home of Thiensville assisted the family with arrangements.

Survivors include: wife Mildred (nee Richter); children Tom Jr. (Donna) Czarnecki, Richard (Nancy) Czarnecki, Cathy (J.C.) Peterson, Scott (Melissa) Czarnecki, Mark Czarnecki, Amy Czarnecki and Paul Czarnecki; grandchildren Ric, Jon, Deanna, Michelle, Brian and Betulah; great-grandchildren Adia, Kara and Alana.

He is further survived by sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by siblings Henry, Ed, Dan (JoAnne), Clare (Ed) Yonk, Edele Megenity and Dorothy (Joe) Fratrick.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the church or charity of the donor’s choice are appreciated.

William E. Bradley II

William E. Bradley II, 84, of Slinger, died Monday, Oct. 8, 2001, at his residence.
He was born Aug. 10, 1917, in Three Oaks, Mich., to the late Rev. William Sr. and Rev. Elsie (Fausch) Bradley, and came with his family to Sheboygan in 1927.

He graduated in 1936 from Sheboygan High School and attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison for two years, becoming a mechanical engineer.

William was employed at Gisholt Manufacturing Co. in Madison and was later the owner and operator of Rubicon Corners of Rubicon. After selling Rubicon Corners, he worked at Waukesha Engines and retired as a manufacturing engineer.

He married Eunice Guell at Fountain Park Church, Sheboygan.

Survivors include two children, Jack Bradley of Hartford and William Bradley III of Hustisford; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Hazel Barteck of Sheboygan and Fern Truak of Edgerton; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

Preceding him in death were a son, Robert, and a daughter, Barbara.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 13, at 2 p.m. at the Phillip Funeral Home, West Bend.

Rev. Wes Barteck of Grace Bible Church of Oshkosh will officiate, and cremation will take place at Paradise Cremation Services of West Bend.

Visitation at the funeral home will be Saturday from 1 p.m. until the time of services.

Memorials are appreciated.

Daniel J. McCarty

Daniel J. McCarty, 70, of Campbellsport, died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2001, at his home with his family at his side.
He was born on Nov. 14, 1930, in the town of Ashford to the late John A. and Katherine (Becker) McCarty, and on May 10, 1952, married Helen Weiland at St. Kilian Catholic Church, St. Kilian.

He farmed in the town of Ashford and was employed at Stella Cheese, Ashplundh Tree Service and then at Regal Ware for 42 years.

He was a member of St. Matthew's Catholic Church, Campbellsport the 25 Year Club at Regal Ware and the Ashford Sportman's Club.

Dan was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed gardening, story telling, picking mushrooms and spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife; children, Jane (Marty) Osypowski of Newton, Katherine (Ken) Beisbier, Judy (LeRoy) Rybold, James (Deb) and Joseph (Kathy), all of Campbellsport, Mary (Jim) Stephan of Hartford, Lori (Larry) Wilhelm of Lomira, Daniel Jr. (Tracy) and Molly (Rob) Walsh, both of Campbellsport; grandchildren, Adam (Susie), Candi (Sean), Cindy (Ian), Chad (Nicky), Connie (Alex), Shannon, Teresa, Kelly, Ryan, Ben, Karl, Luke, Abe, Andy, Jessie, Mandy, Amanda, Joe, Kim, Jamie, Tim, Katie, Jacob, Halle, Koy and Kade; great-grandchildren Kean, Deven and Rose; a brother, John F. (Gloria) of Campbellsport; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

Preceding him in death were five brothers, Tom, Leo, Vincent, George and William; and three sisters, Mary Hron, Helen Mar cotte and Alice Baucom.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, Oct. 13, at 1 p.m. at St. Matthew's Catholic Church, Campbellsport.

Rev. Victor Kemmer will officiate with cremation to follow and inurnment in St. Matthew's Cemetery.

Visitation at the church will be Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services.

The Twohig Funeral Home, Campbellsport, is serving the family.

Adam J. Norlander

Adam J. Norlander, 15, of the town of Richfield, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2001, at his residence.
He was born Oct. 3, 1986, in Menomonee Falls, to Jeffrey A. Norlander and Michele L. (nee Zimmermann) Fleszar.

He attended Richfield Grade School and was a freshman at Hartford Union High School.

Adam was an avid golfer and basketball player and loved four wheeling.

He was a member of the Junior High School Ministry of Northbrook Church, the Junior Golf League, the Richfield Leadership group and played on the Richfield basketball team from fifth through eighth grade.

Survivors include his mother, Michele (Raymond) Fleszar of the town of Richfield; his father, Jeffrey (Victoria) Norlander of the town of Polk; a brother, Luke Norlander of Richfield; a half-brother, Phillip Norlander of the town of Polk; maternal grandparents, Donald and Ruby Zimmermann of Richfield; paternal grandparents, Glenn and Jean Norlander of Hartford; aunts; uncles; cousins; other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 13, at Northbrook Church, 4014 Highway 167, Richfield.

Pastor C. Lee Heyward will officiate, and interment will follow in Trinity Cemetery of Mequon,

Visitation at the church only will be Friday from 4 to 8 p.m.

Memorials are appreciated to The Washington County D.A.R.E. Program.

The Phillip Funeral Home of Slinger is assisting the family.
