Marilyn Blau
Funeral services were held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Saukville for Marilyn Blau of Saukville who died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2001 at her residence at the age of 63.
Interment took place at the parish cemetery. The Eernisse Funeral Home of Port Washington assisted the family.
Mrs. Blau was born May 31, 1938 in Spring Green, the daughter of Ellwood and Marian (Lins) Maxwell. On Feb. 12, 1958, she married Harlan Blau in Spring Green.
Mrs. Blau and her husband operated Blau’s Saukville Meats until their son took over the business several years ago.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Saukville. She enjoyed traveling.
She is survived by her children Terri (Gary) Edgar of Cedarburg, Nancy (Jim) Kinscher of Saukville and Mark (Amy) Blau of Grafton, grandchildren Jordan, Kyle, Brian, Matthew, Ryan, Michael and Rebecca, her mother Marian Maxwell of Spring Green, brothers Ken (Kathy) Maxwell and Keith (Nancy) Maxwell of Spring Green and sisters Karen (John) Volkmann of Rockford, Ill., Marge (Bob) Schelin of Naperville, Ill, Judy (Mike) McGinley of Spring Green, Barb Maxwell of Madison and Kay (Ron) Prochnow of Cambridge.
She was preceded in death by her husband and father.

Wayne L. Blodgett
Wayne L. Blodgett of Hartford passed away on Saturday Nov. 17, 2001, in Adams County as the result of a deer hunting accident. He was 76.
He was born Jan. 15, 1925, in the town of Hutchins to Lloyd and Mabel (nee Longley) Blodgett. He married Virginia Kueffer on Oct. 4, 1952, at St. Kilian Parsonage.
He worked for Lincoln School as a janitor for 12 years, Midas International for 22 years, was a dairy farmer for 15 years and was the janitor at First United Methodist Church for 32 years where he was also a member for more than 60 years. He was also a member of the St. Lawrence Snowmobile Club.
Wayne is survived by his wife, Virginia; three sons, Charles (Judith) of Mayville, Jeffrey (Tammy) of Peoria, Ariz., and Kenneth (Brenda) of Waterford; two daughters, Carol (Jerry) Euler of Shell Lake and Janis Roethle (special friend Greg Hefter) of Hartford; 14 grandchildren, Jessica David, Christopher, Renee, Amy, Tony, Clarissa, Jennifer, Dan Justin, Tyler, Ryan, Tiffanie (Matt) and Jeremy; two great-grandchildren, Brittanie and Candila; two brothers, David Blodgett of Whitewater and Delou "Red" of Lake Geneva; two sisters, Katherine (Berkley) Wurtz of Janesville and Marcelaine (Elmer) McCulloch of Whitewater; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Ed, George, Sanford and Raymond; and two sisters, Clarabelle and Evelyn.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday Nov. 21 at 1:30 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Hartford with Rev. Art Arveson officiating. Visitation at the Shimon Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. and at the church on Wednesday from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Interment will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Hartford. Memorials to the First Union Methodist Church Building Fund are appreciated.

Fred C. Westendorf
Funeral services were held on Wednesday at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Glendale for Fred C. Westendorf who died on Nov. 17, 2001, at the age of 94. Interment took place following the funeral service at the church cemetery.
Mr. Westendorf was born on Dec. 25, 1906, to the late Herman Westendorf, and the late Anna Feldmann. He later married the late Almira "Myra" Kiekhaefer on May 30, 1936 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Glendale.
He worked as an underwriter for an insurance company for most of his life.
He was also a longtime member at St. John’s Lutheran and was a longtime resident of Mequon.
Survivors include: children Fredric Clyde Westendorf, Gail James, and Ellen (Mike) Lane; grandchildren Joseph (Rachel) Olbrys, Brooks (Paola) Olbrys, Gigi James (Mike) Wink, Eric (Shoshana) Westendorf, Bridget Westendorf; great-grandchildren Adam, Gibson and Beckett Olbrys; sisters Elizabeth VanderVeer and Anna (Rev. Edward) Wachholz.
He is further survived by sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Almira "Myra" (nee Kiekhaefer), and brothers Henry and Mans Westendorf.

Terry E. Urban
A memorial service was held Wednesday, Nov. 21 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Grafton for Terry E. Urban of Cedarburg, who died Nov. 17, 2001, at the age of age 85.
Mr. Urban was born on Aug. 30, 1916 to the late Albert Urban and the late Leona Krapfl. He later married Victoria Evanovich on June 5, 1948 at St. Rose Parish in Milwaukee.
He was the husband of Victoria, father of Kathy, Vicki (Nick) Leifeld and Wendy (Gregg) McManners; grandfather of Justin Leifeld and Kyle McManners.
He is further survived by brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

John F. "Bud" Helm Jr.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Tuesday, Nov. 20 at St. Cecilia’s Church in Thiensville for John F. "Bud" Helm Jr. who died on Nov. 17, 2001 at the age of 72. Private interment was at Resurrection Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by Schramka-Densow Funeral Home.
Mr. Helm was a 52-year member and former chief of the Thiensville Fire Department. He was a Korean War veteran and member of American Legion Post #288, and VFW 10171. He was a former business owner and a member of the Mequon-Thiensville Rotary Club.
Survivors include: children Kim Helm, Sharon (Steve) Knuth, Mark (Lisa), Gary (Vickie), Mary (Dan) Schulteis; brother George (Sandy) Helm; sisters Betty (Wally) Hauser, Jackie (Kurt) Kaltenbrun; grandchildren Bryon (Angie), David and Taylor, Andy and Aaron, Jay and Ashley, Cody and Brandon; great-granddaughter Alyssa; special friend Diane Lagnes.
He is further survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife Catherine (nee Lauer).
James W. Heintskill
A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Monday, Nov. 19 at St. Cecilia’s Church in Thiensville for James W. Heintskill, who died on Nov. 14, 2001 at the age of 86. Burial with full military honors for the Lt. Col. were held on Monday at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Lake Church. Schramka-Densow Funeral Home, Thiensville, assisted the family with arrangements.
Lt. Col. Heintskill was a member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, CAP Group 10 Commander, founding member of Youth & Aviation, Inc., Unified Flying Octogenarians (pilots over 80 years old and still have flight certification with physical) and many other organizations. He was an accomplished pilot and flew planes that included Stearman biplanes, B13, P14, T37, B17, twin engine, single engine and jets. He was also called to active duty in 1985 at the age of 70 to be certified to fly search and rescue with a Coast Guard helicopter during the crisis in the Middle East. An FAA-rated airplane mechanic, he volunteered his time helping keep all the CAP and Youth in Aviation, Inc. planes current. He was an integral part in helping found and run the Milwaukee Group 10 Civil Air Patrol.
He retired as a plant manager after 50 years with A.O. Smith Co. (now Tower Automotive).
Survivors include: sons Ronald P. (Judy) Heintskill, Thomas J. (Joan) Heintskill, Raymond A. (Bonnie) Heintskill; grandson Christopher (Carolyn); granddaughter Amanda; great-grandson Timothy James Heintskill; niece Mary Beth Koenigs.
He is further survived by family in the Bay City, Mich. area, Charlie (June), Raymond (Mary Claire), Mary Ann Martin, Al (Loretta), Julie, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife Gertrude Marie Anzia Heintskill, sisters Gertrude Hoenigs and Florence, brothers William, Roman and John.

Mildred A. Behling
Memorial service to be held today at the Rose-Harms #355 Legion Post for Mildred A. Behling who died on Nov. 14 at the age of 71. Family will receive guests beginning at 3 p.m. with the service beginning at 4 p.m.
Mrs. Behling was born March 30, 1930.
Survivors include: husband Adolph; children Linda (Duane) Jaeger, Harold B. Ziemke (Jean), April A. Ziemke (Michael Jeziorski), and Jordan; stepchildren Darryl Behling (Anna), Debra Hernandez, Donna Luedke (Phil), Dawn Behling and Daniel Behling; grandchildren Aaron and Daniel Ziemke, Jessica, Kassia, Luke Jeziorski, John, Scott, Steven Lucero, Cameron and Allison Luedke, Kylia and Jameson Behling; three great-grandchildren.
She is further survived by brothers, Richard A. Schultz (Donna) of Menomonee Falls, James B. Schultz of Brookfield, Robert W. Schultz (Darlyne) of Milwaukee; sisters, Bernadine (Norman) Roberts of Pardeeville and Judith J. Steinpas of Greenwood; brother-in-laws, Leroy Behling (Adeline) and Walter Behling (Mildred); aunt, Irene Henke of Wautoma; nine nieces, 11 nephews, and numerous grand-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ida and Bernard Schultz.
John Andrzejewski
A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Tuesday, Nov. 20, at St. Francis Borgia North, Cedarburg, for John Andrzejewski of Cedarburg who died on Nov. 16, 2001 at the age of 80. Entombment was at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Milwaukee.
Mr. Andrzejewski was born in Milwaukee on Nov. 28, 1920 to the late Valentine and Pearl (nee Piasecki) Andrzejewski and married Mathilda "Matty" (nee Ciepluch) at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church on Oct. 26, 1946.
Survivors include: wife Mathilda "Matty" of Cedarburg; children Joan (Richard) Ebbens of Cedarburg, Carol (Kenneth) Stephany of Greenfield, Thomas (Paula) Andrzejewski of Lino Lakes, Minn.; grandchildren Scott and Stefanie Ebbens of Cedarburg, Rachel and Brandon Andrzejewski of Lino Lakes; sisters Genevieve Litzau of Milwaukee, Sophie Sztuma of Milwaukee and Martha Mirr of Mukwonago.
Further survived by other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by brothers Charles and Edward and sister Valeria Motowski.
Memorials to the St. Francis Endowment Fund appreciated.

Rev. Harvey E. Schall
Rev. Harvey E. Schall, 86, of Sheboygan, formerly of West Bend, passed on to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, Nov. 18, 2001.
Harvey was born on Oct. 26, 1915, in Milwaukee, to the late Milton and Cordina (nee Hackbarth) Schall.
He was called into the ministry of Jesus Christ as the age of 14. He graduated from Milwaukee North Division High School in 1934 and went on to North Central College and Evangelical Seminary, Naperville, Ill., graduating in 1940.
Harvey married Doris Esch from oak Creek on June 8, 1946 at Memorial Ev. Church in Milwaukee.
The couple located in West Bend after retiring in 1979, and recently moved to Sheboygan to be near family.
He served the ministry touching many lives throughout Wisconsin. He served churches in Oak Creek, Shullsburg, Tomah, Colby, Spencer, Unity, St. Croix Falls, Livingston, Rewey, Arthur, Mineral Point, Willow Springs, Sheboygan, Wesley and Colgtae.
Harvey also had a very strong interest in the activities of his children and grandchildren, and he tried to meet and talk to someone new every day.
Survivors include his loving and faithful wife, Doris; three children, Sheldon (Maeline) of Waunakee, Cheryl (Mark) Wurtz of Sheboygan and Arlin (Linda) of Overland Park, Kan.; nine grandchildren; two great-grandsons; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in eternal life with Jesus by a daughter, Karen, in 1978.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Nov. 23, at 11 a.m. at Fifth Avenue United Methodist Church, West Bend.
Pastor William Dushek will officiate, and entombment will be in Wisconsin Memorial Park, Brookfield.
Visitation at the church only will be Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be given to the Sheboygan Retirement Home-Beach Health Care Center or Untied Methodist Conference Youth Summer Camp Program.
