Richard W. Schulz
Richard W. Schulz of Hartford passed away Thursday, Dec. 13, 2001, at Hartford Care Center at the age of 77.

He was born April 12, 1924, in the township of Herman, the son of William and Christina (nee Bauer) Schulz.

He married Pearl Glamann June 29, 1962, at Peace Lutheran Church in Hartford. Richard served his country during World War II in the Army and was awarded the Bronze Star. He worked at Chrysler Marine in Hartford for 38 years. Richard was a past alderman for Hartford.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Donald Schulz. He is survived by his wife, Pearl; a step-daughter, Debra Thiesen of Hartford; and his sister-in-law, Marilyn Schulz of Colorado.

Graveside service is Monday, Dec. 17, at Pleasant Hill Cemetery at 10 a.m. under the auspices of Hartford VFW Post #8834. The Berndt-Ledesma Funeral Home is serving the family.

Milton G. "Doughy" Doman

Milton G. "Doughy" Doman of Hingham, Wis., formerly of Rockfield, Wis., age 91, died peacefully at his residence on Thursday, Dec. 13 .
Funeral services will be held on Monday, Dec. 17 at 12:30 p.m. at Our Saviour's United Church of Christ in Germantown with Pastor William Utke officiating.

Interment will take place at Our Saviour's Cemetery of Germantown. Visitation will be at the church on Monday from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 12:30 p.m.

Memorials are appreciated.

Gertrude Erna Lily Schroeder

Gertrude Erna Lily Schroeder (nee Reineck), age 83, died Dec. 13, 2001 after a 15-year battle with Lupus.
Dear mother of June Ann (Michael McCormick) Schroeder of West Bend and Thomas (PJ) Schroeder of Hartland; grandmother of Matthew and Zachary Schroeder.

She is also survived by sister-in-law Rosalyn (Paul) Lehman (nee Busacker) formerly Reineck (Ted) of Tucson; nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.

Preceded in death long ago by husband Harold; brothers Harry and Ted Reineck; and sister Anita (Ralph) Schumacher.

Previously a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church (now St. Peter-Immanuel), 40-year member of Pilgrim Lutheran Church, Wauwatosa, and currently a member of Pilgrim Lutheran Church, West Bend.

Gertrude was church secretary for Immanuel and Pilgrim, Wauwatosa for many years. Also former employee of Johnson Controls and a retiree of Wauwatosa Police Department.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 18 from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. at Pilgrim Church, 462 Meadowbrook Drive, West Bend, (334-0375) followed by fellowship hour for relatives and friends.

Private burial at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, Milwaukee.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Lupus Foundation of America, Wisconsin Chapter, 8544 W. National Ave., Suite 22-24, West Allis, Wis. 53227, or Lutheran High School Association of Greater Milwaukee, 5201 S. 76th St., Greendale, Wis. 53129.

The Hartson Funeral Home is serving the family.

Anita Schreiner

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. today at Lasata Care Center Chapel, Cedarburg, for Anita Schreiner, (nee Bublitz), Grafton, died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2001 at Lasata Care Center, Cedarburg at the age of 91. Pastor John Suelflow will officiate at the ceremony. Interment will be at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery in Grafton. Visitation will be at Lasata Chapel from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Mueller Funeral Home, Cedarburg, assisted the family with arrangements.
She was born Dec. 15, 1909 in Mequon to Richard and Rose (nee Gerlach) Bublitz. She married Russell Schreiner at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, South Mequon on July 2, 1949. He preceded her in death on February 13, 1994.

Mrs. Schreiner was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Grafton.

Survivors include: daughter Mary Schreiner of Fox Point and sister Lorraine Bublitz of Grafton. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Memorials to St. Paul Lutheran Church appreciated.

Margaret Orlick

A funeral service was held on Friday Dec. 14, at Faith Lutheran Church in Cedarburg for Margaret Orlick who died on Dec. 11, 2001 at Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital at the age of 84. Burial was Saturday at Immanuel Cemetery. Mueller Funeral Home, Cedarburg, assisted the family.
Mrs. Orlick was born on Aug.18, 1917 the daughter of the late Axel and Olga (nee Olson) Rasmussen. She was married to the late Anthony Orlick. She enjoyed traveling and was very involved in Faith Lutheran Church.

Survivors include: daughters Nancy (Don) Ritter, Sandra (Ron) Sohn and Sharon Orlick.

Further survived by five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by two granddaughters.

Ruth L. Neuenfeldt

A funeral service was held on Sat. Dec. 15, at First Immanuel Lutheran Church for Ruth L. Neuenfeldt (nee Kleinschmidt) who died on Dec. 12, 2001 at Lasata Care Center at the age of 89. Mueller Funeral Home, Cedarburg, assisted the family.
Mrs. Neuenfeldt was born March 26, 1912 the daughter of the late Julius and Paulina (nee Krueger) Kleinschmidt. She married Harry Neuenfeldt on Oct. 7, 1933 in Cedarburg. She was an active volunteer at Lasata Care Center for over 30 years.

Surviors include: son Jules (Naomi) Neuenfeldt of Germantown; grandchildren Kathy (Erik) Barron of Bloomington, Ill., Deborah (Graham) Kolterjohn of Tampa, Fla., David Neuenfeldt of LaCrosse and John Neuenfeldt of Appleton; great-granddaughter Madelyn Rose Barron; sister Edna Giese of Wausau; brother Edlor Kleinshcmidt of Hamburg.

Further survived by other relatives and friends.

Frederick E. Miller

Memorial services will be held at 5 p.m. on today, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Grafton, for Frederick E. Miller of Grafton who died on Dec. 12, 2001 at St. Mary’s Hospital at the age of 77. Inurnment will be at St. Paul Cemetery. Family will receive friends following the service. Mueller Funeral Home, Grafton, assisted the family with arrangements.
Mr. Miller was born May 20, 1924 in Milwaukee to the late Ellis and Clara (nee Gaertner) Miller and married the late Shirley (nee Madden) on July 13, 1946 in Milwaukee.

He was a longtime active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Rose-Harms American Legion Post No. 355 in Grafton and was a past board member of the Village of Grafton and Grafton Sewer & Water Commission.

Suvivors include: sons Paul (Pat) Miller of Wautoma, Jim Miller of Grafton; grandchildren Preston (Cindy) Miller of Philadelphia, Pamela Miller of Vero Beach, Fla., Kyle and Blayne Miller both of Cedarburg.

Further survived by other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by sister Betty Ann Thomas.

In lieu of flowers memorials to St. Paul Lutheran Church or Rose-Harms American Legion Post No. 355 appreciated.

Joyce S. Hauser

Joyce S. Hauser, nee Herman, 77, of Hartford, passed away on F Friday, Dec. 14, 2001, at St. Luke's Hospital, Milwaukee.
She was born Aug. 27, 1924, in Allenton, to the late Carlton and Elsie (nee Desens) Herman, and married Joseph Hauser on May 14, 1946, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Allenton.

Joyce was a past member of the Hartford Hospital Board of Directors, and was a Pink Lady at the hospital for over 30 years. She was also a member of the Hartford Senior Friends, was the proofreader extraordinaire at the Hartford Booster and was a member of St. Kilian's Church, Hartford.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Ellen (Jerry) Hanrahan of Jackson and Gail (Pat) Murphy of Hartford; four sons, Mark (Linda) and Peter, both of Hartford, David (Betcie) of Iola and Paul (Kriss) of Hartford; 12 grandchildren, Jay (Nicole), Jennifer, Kate, Becca, Liz, Anne (Chad), Claire, Lee, Justin, Zachary, Maxwell and Benjamin; five great-grandchildren, Andrew, Sarah, Casey, Emily and Jamie; a brother, Aubrey (Shirley) Herman of Towanda, Ill.; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; nieces; nephews; other relatives, Joan Hauser, Betty Sydow, Paul and Mickey and many, many other friends.

Preceding her in death were a grandson, Travis Hauser; a brother, Oliver (Hazel); and a sister, Phyllis.

A Memorial Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, Dec. 17, at 11 a.m. at Holy Hill Shrine, Chapel of St. Therese.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Kilian Endowment Fund, St. John's in Rubicon or the Shrine of Mary, Holy Hill are appreciated.

The Shimon Funeral Home, Hartford, assisted the family.

Elbert A. Yagow

Elbert A. Yagow, 87, of West Bend, died on Saturday, Dec. 15, 2001, at his residence.
He was born Feb. 11, 1914, in Altamont, Ill., to the late Herman and Dorothea (Reh-wald) Yagow, and graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in journalism.

He was employed at Gimbels/Schuster of Milwaukee and later served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

He was then employed at J.C. Penny Co. of Milwaukee as a manger for over 30 years, retiring in 1974.

After retirement, Elbert became an insurance agent for several companies for over 25 years.

He married Beata E. Hoessel, who passed away in 1970. On Aug. 26, 1971, he married M. Nanette Exton in Kenosha.

Survivors include his wife; eight children, John (Beverly) Yagow of Watertown, Phillip (Julie) Yagow of Mount Horeb, Daniel (Vikki) Yagow of Denver, Colo., Carol Haubrich of Kansas City, Mo., Janet (Michael) Young of West Bend, Paul (Cheryl) Haubrich of McKinney, Texas, Brad (Barbara) Haubrich and Warren (Wendi) Haubrich, both of West Bend; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

Preceding him in death was a son, Arthur Yagow.

Elbert was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church of West Bend and co-founder of The Coffee Ministry and was also a member of the West Bend Kiwanis, Retired Penney's Club, American Legion of West Bend and W.A.L.U.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 18, at 6 p.m. at Our Savior's Lutheran Church.

Pastor Oscar Kraft will officiate, and interment will be in Washington County Memorial Park, West Bend, at 10 a.m. on Wednesday.

Visitation at the church only will be Tuesday from 3 p.m. until the time of services.

Memorials are appreciated.
